Thunderstorm gusts are a common form of severe convective weather in the warm season in North China, and it is of great importance to correctly forecast them. At present, the forecasting of thunderstorm gusts is mainly based on traditional subjective methods, which fails to achieve high-resolution and high-frequency gridded forecasts based on multiple observation sources. In this paper, we propose a deep learning method called Thunderstorm Gusts TransU-net (TG-TransUnet) to forecast thunderstorm gusts in North China based on multi-source gridded product data from the Institute of Urban Meteorology (IUM) with a lead time of 1 to 6 h. To determine the specific range of thunderstorm gusts, we combine three meteorological variables: radar reflectivity factor, lightning location, and 1-h maximum instantaneous wind speed from automatic weather stations (AWSs), and obtain a reasonable ground truth of thunderstorm gusts. Then, we transform the forecasting problem into an image-to-image problem in deep learning under the TG-TransUnet architecture, which is based on convolutional neural networks and a transformer. The analysis and forecast data of the enriched multi-source gridded comprehensive forecasting system for the period 2021–23 are then used as training, validation, and testing datasets. Finally, the performance of TG-TransUnet is compared with other methods. The results show that TG-TransUnet has the best prediction results at 1–6 h. Context: In this paper, we systematically studied the effects of non-metallic element (B, C, N, O, F) doping and biaxial stretching on the photoelectric properties of ZrS2/ZrSe2 heterostructures by using the first-principles calculation method based on density functional theory. The results show that the p-type doping is realized by B, C, and N atom doping, and the n-type doping is realized by O and F atom doping. The doping of B and C atoms produces impurity energy levels in the band gap, which affects the conductivity of the heterostructure. The band gap of N and O atom–doped heterostructures increases under tensile strain, but it is still a direct band gap. The analysis of the optical properties of the heterostructures shows that the doping of non-metallic atoms can adjust the optical absorption rate and reflectivity of the heterostructures. Under the action of tensile strain, the optical properties of the doped heterostructures have changed significantly in the low-energy region. This article provides a theoretical basis for the future application of ZrS2/ZrSe2 heterostructures. Method: This paper uses the first-principles calculation method based on density functional theory. The PBE exchange-correlation functional based on generalized gradient approximation (GGA) is selected for the specific calculation, and the crystal structure is geometrically optimized by the ultrasoft pseudopotential method. It is verified that when the cutoff energy of the ZrS2/ZrSe2 heterostructure is 500 eV, the K-point grid is selected to be 10 × 10 × 2 with the lowest energy, so the cutoff energy is selected to be 500 eV. The K-point grid is selected to be 10 × 10 × 2. The convergence limits for structural optimization are as follows: the maximum force between atoms is 0.01 eV/Å, the convergence threshold of the maximum energy change is set to 10−9 eV/atom, and the convergence threshold of the maximum displacement is 0.001 Å. In order to avoid the influence of atomic periodic motion between different atomic layers, a vacuum layer of 20 Å is added in the vertical direction. Considering the interaction of vdW between the interfaces, the DFT-D2 method is used to verify. Medullary Carcinoma of the Colon (MCC) is a rare histological subtype of colon cancer, and there is currently no recognized optimal treatment plan for it, with its prognosis remaining unclear. The aim of this study is to analyze the independent prognostic factors for MCC patients and develop and validate nomograms to predict overall survival (OS). A total of 760 patients newly diagnosed with MCC from 2004 to 2020 were selected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database. All patients were randomly allocated to a training group and a validation group in a 7:3 ratio. Univariate and multivariable Cox regression analyses were conducted to identify prognostic factors and construct nomograms. The nomogram prediction model was evaluated and validated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves, calibration curves, and decision curve analysis (DCA). The study found that elderly women are more susceptible to MCC, and the ascending colon and cecum are the most common sites of involvement. MCC is poorly differentiated, with stages II and III being the most common. Surgery is the primary treatment for MCC. The prognosis for patients with stage IV MCC is poor, with a median survival time of only 10 months. Independent prognostic factors for MCC include age, N stage, M stage, surgery, chemotherapy, and tumor size. Among them, age < 75 years and completion of chemotherapy were protective factors for colon medullary carcinoma, while N2 (HR = 2.18, 95%CI 1.40–3.38), M1 (HR = 3.31, 95%CI 2.01–5.46), no surgery (HR = 27.94, 95%CI 3.69–211.75), and tumor diameter > 7 cm (HR = 1.66, 95%CI 1.20–2.30) were risk factors for colon medullary carcinoma. The results of ROC, AUC, calibration curves, and DCA demonstrate that the nomogram prediction model exhibits good predictive performance. We have updated the demographic characteristics of colon medullary carcinoma and identified age, N staging, M staging, surgery, chemotherapy and tumor size as independent prognostic factors for colon medullary carcinoma. Additionally, we have established nomograms for prognostic prediction. These nomograms can provide personalized predictions and serve as valuable references for clinical decision-making. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is a promising technique for sensitive detection. The design and optimization of plasma-enhanced structures for SERS applications is an interesting challenge. In this study, we found that the SERS activity of MXene (Ti3C2Tx) can be improved by adding Au nanoparticles (NPs) in a simple photoreduction process. Fluoride-salt-etched MXene was deposited by drop-casting on a glass slide, and Au NPs were formed by the photocatalytic growth of gold(III) chloride trihydrate solutions under ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. The Au–MXene substrate formed by Au NPs anchored on the Ti3C2Tx sheet produced significant SERS through the synergistic effect of chemical and electromagnetic mechanisms. The structure and size of the Au-decorated MXene depended on the reaction time. When the MXene films were irradiated with a large number of UV photons, the size of the Au NPs increased. Hot spots were formed in the nanoscale gaps between the Au NPs, and the abundant surface functional groups of the MXene effectively adsorbed and interacted with the probe molecules. Simultaneously, as a SERS substrate, the proposed Au–MXene composite exhibited a wider linear range of 10−4–10−9 mol/L for detecting carbendazim. In addition, the enhancement factor of the optimized SERS substrate Au–MXene was 1.39 × 106, and its relative standard deviation was less than 13%. Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a malignant tumor originating from the epithelial cells of the renal tubules. The clear cell RCC subtype is closely linked to a poor prognosis due to its rapid progression. Circular RNA (circRNA) is a novel class of regulatory RNA molecules that play a role in the development of ccRCC, although their functions have not been fully elucidated. In this study, we identified a significant downregulation of circ-IP6K2 in ccRCC tissues based on data from the GSE100186 dataset. The decreased expression of circ-IP6K2 correlated with the progression of TNM stage and histological grade, and was also associated with decreased overall survival rates in ccRCC patients. Moreover, our findings revealed that circ-IP6K2 expression suppressed proliferation, migration, and invasion capabilities in vitro, and inhibited xenograft growth in vivo. Mechanistically, circ-IP6K2 acted as a sponge for miR-1292-5p in ccRCC cells, which in turn targeted the 3’UTR of CAMK2N1, leading to a decrease in its expression. CAMK2N1 was identified as a tumor suppressor that negatively regulated the β-catenin/c-Myc oncogenic signaling pathway. Additionally, we confirmed a positive correlation between the expression of circ-IP6K2 and CAMK2N1 in ccRCC. Circ-IP6K2 functions to impede the progression of ccRCC by modulating the miR-1292-5p/CAMK2N1 axis. Gold nanoclusters (Au NCs) with bright emission and unique chemical reactivity characters have been widely applied for optical sensing and imaging. With a combination of surface modifications, effective therapeutic treatments of tumors are realized. In this review, we summarize the recently adopted biosensing and therapy events based on Au NCs. Homogeneous and fluorometric biosensing systems toward various targets, including ions, small molecules, reactive oxygen species, biomacromolecules, cancer cells, and bacteria, in vitro and in vivo, are presented by turn-off, turn-on, and ratiometric tactics. The therapy applications are concluded in three aspects: photodynamic therapy, photothermal therapy, and as a drug carrier. The basic mechanisms and performances of these systems are introduced. While previous work on the climatology of Northern China has focused on mean wind speed, wind gusts have received comparatively less attention but are equally important to various users. In this paper, an observed hourly maximum gust wind speeds (HMGS) dataset across North China has been created by using time series from 174 meteorological stations. The dataset offers superior quality, high spatiotemporal near-surface HMGS series for North China spanning from 2015 to 2022. The objective of this study is first to improve our understanding of the spatiotemporal gusts climatology in North China by analyzing the observed gust data. Second, we aim to supplement the observational data by using gust analysis and forecast data with a high spatial–temporal resolution from model simulations. The spatial characteristics of the seasonal cycle of the simulated analysis of mean HMGS and the performance in predicting gusts based on the geographical locations and elevations of the validation stations were investigated by comparing it with the observations. Results indicate the following: 1) Wind direction and intensity are affected by the terrain and climate conditions of different weather stations. Stations situated along the Bohai Bay coastal region and at higher-elevation areas of North China exhibit a higher mean HMGS than those located in the coastal and inland plains. 2) The probability density function curves for wind speed and wind direction exhibit notable variations across different elevation intervals. The contribution of moderate and strong gust wind speeds increases gradually with increasing altitude, while the gust directions in mountainous areas exhibit relatively consistent patterns due to the increased exposure to synoptic-scale forcing at higher elevations. 3) The nowcasting prediction system analysis of mean HMGS provides a higher horizontal resolution that is capable of capturing the contrasts between land and sea, as well as the influence of high HMGS associated with large-scale circulations in high-elevation regions. Significance Statement: The purpose of this study is to better understand the spatiotemporal gust climatology in North China and the performance of the model-simulated gust analysis and forecast data. This is important because gusts conditions differ due to varying topographic and climatic conditions of different weather stations. Motivation Emerging omics technologies have introduced a two-way grouping structure in multiple testing, as seen in single-cell omics data, where the features can be grouped by either genes or cell types. Traditional multiple testing methods have limited ability to exploit such two-way grouping structure, leading to potential power loss. Results We propose a new 2D Group Benjamini–Hochberg (2dGBH) procedure to harness the two-way grouping structure in omics data, extending the traditional one-way adaptive GBH procedure. Using both simulated and real datasets, we show that 2dGBH effectively controls the false discovery rate across biologically relevant settings, and it is more powerful than the BH or q -value procedure and more robust than the one-way adaptive GBH procedure. To study the impact of the digital economy on industrial structure upgrading, this paper constructs the dynamic spatial Durbin model, dynamic spatial intermediary model, and spatial threshold model based on the panel data of 155 prefecturelevel cities in China from 2011 to 2021. It is found that: (a) the improvement of the digital economy in the region can directly promote the upgrading of local industrial structure, but there is a significant "siphon effect," which makes the spatial spillover effect negative and significant. (b) The digital transformation of enterprises plays a mediating role in the path of digital economy-driven industrial structure upgrading, with a short-term mediating effect size of about 17.18%. (c) The digital economy has a threshold effect on the path of enterprise digital transformation for industrial structure upgrading. These findings provide suggestions for policy. We evaluated cellular immune responses induced by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccines in an immunized population based on HLA-E-restricted CD8+ T cell epitope identification. HLA-E-restricted SARS-CoV-2 CD8+ T cell nonamer peptides were predicted with software. An HLA-E-transfected K562 cell binding assay was used to screen for high-affinity peptides. IFN-γ enzyme-linked immunospot assays were used to identify HLA-E-restricted epitopes. An HLA-E/epitope tetramer was employed to detect the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells. Four CD8+ T cell epitopes on the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 restricted by both HLA-E*0101 and E*0103 were identified. HLA-E-restricted epitope-specific IFN-γ-secreting CD8+ T cell responses could be detected in individuals vaccinated with SARS-CoV-2 vaccines. Importantly, the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells in Ad5-nCoV vaccinated individuals were higher than in individuals vaccinated with recombinant protein or inactivated vaccines. Moreover, the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells could be maintained for at least 120 days after only one dose of Ad5-nCoV vaccine, while the frequencies of epitope-specific CD8+ T cells decreased in individuals after two doses of Ad5-nCoV vaccine. These findings may contribute to a more comprehensive evaluation of the protective effects of vaccines for SARS-CoV-2; meanwhile, they may provide information to characterize HLA-E-restricted CD8+ T cell immunity against SARS-CoV-2 infection. Context: Two-dimensional semiconductor materials have received much attention in recent years due to their wide variety of applications in the field of nano-optoelectronic devices. In this project, we applied stresses ranging from −6 to +6% to the ZrSe2/HfSe2 heterostructure and systematically investigated its electrical and optical properties. It is discovered that stress can effectively modulate the forbidden bandwidth of the ZrSe2/HfSe2 heterojunction; whereas, under compressive stress, the forbidden bandwidth of the material decreases further until the bandgap is zero, leading to the material's transformation from semiconductor to metal. The forbidden band gap of the ZrSe2/HfSe2 heterojunction increases with increasing horizontal biaxial tensile strain. We discovered that the light absorption performance of this heterostructure is significantly better than that of its similar monomolecular layer and that its light absorption intensity can reach an order of magnitude of 104. Under compressive and tensile stresses, the ZrSe2/HfSe2 heterojunctions exhibit different degrees of red or blue shift. The results indicate that constructing ZrSe2/HfSe2 heterojunctions and applying horizontal biaxial stresses to them can significantly modulate the optoelectronic properties of the materials. ZrSe2/HfSe2 heterojunction is a new type of high-performance photogenerated carrier transport device with a wide range of applications. Methods: The calculations in this study are carried out the first principles approach of density functional theory, as implemented in the CASTEP module of Materials-Studio2019. The researchers used an ultrasoft reaction potential to calculate the interactions between the ion core and the electrons and applied the Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof (PBE) and the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) to perform the calculations. The Monkhorst-Pack technique was employed to create the k-point samples utilized for integration on the Brillouin zone, and the k-point grid was uniformly 6 × 6 × 1. In addition, in order to avoid interactions between the atomic layers affecting the properties and stability of the material, such interactions were prevented by adding a 30 Å vacuum layer. Using a plane-wave energy cutoff of 500 eV and the convergence accuracy of the iterative process was set to 1 × 10−5 eV to ensure the accuracy of the computational results, and in addition. The maximum stress in the lattice was limited to less than 0.05 GPa or the interaction force between neighboring atoms was lower than 0.03 eV/Å. For the calculation of the properties of the optical properties, a k-point grid of 18 × 18 × 1 is used for optimization, and the polarization direction of the material is not taken into account, considering that the material is isotropic. This study proposes to apply the Tkatchenko-Scheffler (TS) dispersion correction method in DFT-D to appropriately represent the interlayer van der Waals interaction forces to solve inaccuracies in the computation of van der Waals interactions via density functional theory. Calcium sulfate (CaSO4), an essential retarder in cement, retards the hydration of tricalcium aluminate (C3A) and tetracalcium aluminoferrite (C4AF) phases. However, its retarding mechanism remains unclear. This paper focused on the adsorption of CaSO4f on C4AF and C3A surfaces based on isothermal calorimetry, the measurement of the ionic concentrations in a diluted system, and density functional theory to enhance the understanding of the retardation mechanism. The results showed that the retarding effect of CaSO4 on C4AF was stronger than that on C3A due to the slower CaSO4 consumption rate, lower driving force for CaSO4 adsorption, and surface coverage of Fe(OH)3 gel. The adsorption of CaSO4 hindered Ca dissolution more markedly on C4AF than C3A, which was pronounced on Fe‐free C4AF surfaces. The adsorption of CaSO4 weakened the affinity of water on C4AF and C3A surfaces, lowering the driving force for H2O adsorption. The adsorption of H2O and CaSO4 promoted the dissolution of Al on the [AlO6] octahedral surface of C4AF, which may be responsible for the maintenance of a higher Al concentration in the solution. Context: Based on the first principles under the framework of density functional theory, it calculates the effect of vacancy defects in single Zr and single Se atoms and the replacement of Se atoms in ZrSe2 with O, Se, and Te atoms on the optoelectronic properties of monolayer ZrSe2, including geometry, energy band structure, electronic density of states, and optical properties. The doping of the three non-metallic atoms was n-type doping for the O and S atoms and p-type doping for the Te atom. Defects in the Zr atoms and O-atom doping significantly affect the peak reflectance and absorption coefficient of the ZrSe2 system. Methods: All Density Functional Theory calculations were carried out using the CASTEP module in the Materials-Studio (MS) software. The generalized gradient approximation plane-wave pseudopotential method and the Perdew-Burke-Ernzerfhof (PBE) generalized function were used for structural optimization and total energy calculation of the defect and doping systems. After convergence tests, the plane wave truncation energy was set to 500 eV, and the Brillouin zone K-point grid was set to 4 × 4 × 1. The atomic energy convergence criterion is 1.0 × 10−6 eV/atom, the interatomic interaction force convergence criterion is 0.02 eV/Å, the maximum atomic displacement convergence criterion is 0.001 Å, and the internal crystal stress convergence criterion is 0.05 GPa. In order to avoid the influence of the interaction forces between the layers, a vacuum layer of 15 Å is placed in the Z-axis direction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Highlights: Classification and catalytic mechanism of nanozymes with different mimicking activities are dissertated. Activity prediction and rational design methods of nanozymes are highlighted, including density functional theory, machine learning, biomimetic and chemical design. The roles of nanozymes in different synergistic theranostic strategies for tumor are summarized and explained by representative examples in the past five years. Since the discovery of enzyme-like activity of Fe3O4 nanoparticles in 2007, nanozymes are becoming the promising substitutes for natural enzymes due to their advantages of high catalytic activity, low cost, mild reaction conditions, good stability, and suitable for large-scale production. Recently, with the cross fusion of nanomedicine and nanocatalysis, nanozyme-based theranostic strategies attract great attention, since the enzymatic reactions can be triggered in the tumor microenvironment to achieve good curative effect with substrate specificity and low side effects. Thus, various nanozymes have been developed and used for tumor therapy. In this review, more than 270 research articles are discussed systematically to present progress in the past five years. First, the discovery and development of nanozymes are summarized. Second, classification and catalytic mechanism of nanozymes are discussed. Third, activity prediction and rational design of nanozymes are focused by highlighting the methods of density functional theory, machine learning, biomimetic and chemical design. Then, synergistic theranostic strategy of nanozymes are introduced. Finally, current challenges and future prospects of nanozymes used for tumor theranostic are outlined, including selectivity, biosafety, repeatability and stability, in-depth catalytic mechanism, predicting and evaluating activities. An extended (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili–Boussinesq equation is studied in this paper to construct periodic solution, n-soliton solution and folded localized excitation. Firstly, with the help of the Hirota's bilinear method and ansatz, some periodic solutions have been derived. Secondly, taking Burgers equation as an auxiliary function, we have obtained n-soliton solution and n-shock wave. Lastly, we present a new variable separation method for (3+1)-dimensional and higher dimensional models, and use it to derive localized excitation solutions. To be specific, we have constructed various novel structures and discussed the interaction dynamics of folded solitary waves. Compared with the other methods, the variable separation solutions obtained in this paper not only directly give the analytical form of the solution u instead of its potential u y , but also provide us a straightforward approach to construct localized excitation for higher order dimensional nonlinear partial differential equation. It is well known that the microbiome data are ridden with outliers and have heavy distribution tails, but the impact of outliers and heavy-tailedness has yet to be examined systematically. This paper investigates the impact of outliers and heavy-tailedness on differential abundance analysis (DAA) using the linear models for the differential abundance analysis (LinDA) method and proposes effective strategies to mitigate their influence. The presence of outliers and heavy-tailedness can significantly decrease the power of LinDA. We investigate various techniques to address outliers and heavy-tailedness, including generalizing LinDA into a more flexible framework that allows for the use of robust regression and winsorizing the data before applying LinDA. Our extensive numerical experiments and real-data analyses demonstrate that robust Huber regression has overall the best performance in addressing outliers and heavy-tailedness. Context: Monolayer NbS2 is a promising new two-dimensional material, and it is critical to develop effective methods to make NbS2 a material for nanodevices and photovoltaic applications. This study studied the strain rule of sulfur-deficient NbS2 structure by first principles. The results show that all defect structures introduce impurity states to enhance electron transport. The disulfide defect structure produces an indirect band gap under the action of tensile strain, which can reach up to 0.56eV and become a diluted semiconductor. The hybrid NbS2 exhibits high transparency under infrared, visible, and low-frequency ultraviolet light, improving the material's transmittance, optical response, and catalytic activity. The research results of this paper will provide a basis for the subsequent research of single-layer NbS2 and accelerate the research process of NbS2 as a new semiconductor material. Methods: We are on the surface perpendicular to the 3×3×1 NbS2 and use a 15 Å vacuum layer to avoid interacting with periodic images. The first-principles simulation uses the CASTEP module in Materials Studio to simulate the hypothetical model and relaxation optimization structure of single-layer NbS2 under strain and defect state. The calculation function is PBE (Perdew-Burke-Ernzerhof) function under the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) for an approximate calculation to describe the interaction between electrons and the interaction between electrons and ions. The pseudopotentials of 3s23p4 and 4d45s1 valence electron configurations were used for S and Nb atoms, respectively. Van der Waals correction is considered in the simulation process. Moreover, it includes spin-orbit coupling (SOC) effects. For the plane wave truncation energy, we set it at 500eV. The arrangement of the Brillouin area is divided by 6×6×1 gamma-centered Monkhorst-Pack grids. The lattice deformation of all hybrid structures is less than 0.05 Gpa, and the interatomic force is less than 0.03 eV/Å. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Finger vein recognition is a promising biometric technology that has received significant research attention. However, most of the existing works often relied on a single feature, which failed to fully exploit the discriminative information in finger vein images, and therefore led to a limited recognition performance. To overcome this limitation, this paper proposes an encoding coefficient similarity-based multifeature sparse representation method for finger vein recognition. The proposed method not only uses multiple features to extract comprehensive information from finger vein images, but also obtains more discriminative information through constraints in the objective function. The sparsity constraint retains the key information of each feature, and the similarity constraint explores the shared information among the features. Furthermore, the proposed method is capable of fusing all kinds of features, not limited to specific ones. The optimization problem of the proposed method is efficiently solved using the alternating direction multiplier method algorithm. Background: Single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA-seq) has become a widely used tool for both basic and translational biomedical research. In scRNA-seq data analysis, cell type annotation is an essential but challenging step. In the past few years, several annotation tools have been developed. These methods require either labeled training/reference datasets, which are not always available, or a list of predefined cell subset markers, which are subject to biases. Thus, a user-friendly and precise annotation tool is still critically needed. Results: We curated a comprehensive cell marker database named scMayoMapDatabase and developed a companion R package scMayoMap, an easy-to-use single-cell annotation tool, to provide fast and accurate cell type annotation. The effectiveness of scMayoMap was demonstrated in 48 independent scRNA-seq datasets across different platforms and tissues. Additionally, the scMayoMapDatabase can be integrated with other tools and further improve their performance. Unconscious acquisition of sequence structure from experienced events can lead to explicit awareness of the pattern through extended practice. Although the implicit-to-explicit transition has been extensively studied in humans using the serial reaction time (SRT) task, the subtle neural activity supporting this transition remains unclear. Here, we investigated whether frequency-specific neural signal transfer contributes to this transition. A total of 208 participants (107 females) learned a sequence pattern through a multisession SRT task, allowing us to observe the transitions. Session-by-session measures of participants' awareness for sequence knowledge were conducted during the SRT task to identify the session when the transition occurred. By analyzing time course RT data using switchpoint modeling, we identified an increase in learning benefit specifically at the transition session. Electroencephalogram (EEG)/magnetoencephalogram (MEG) recordings revealed increased theta power in parietal (precuneus) regions one session before the transition (pretransition) and a prefrontal (superior frontal gyrus; SFG) one at the transition session. Phase transfer entropy (PTE) analysis confirmed that directional theta transfer from precuneus fi SFG occurred at the pretransition session and its strength positively predicted learning improvement at the subsequent transition session. Furthermore, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) modulated precuneus theta power and altered transfer strength from precuneus to SFG, resulting in changes in both transition rate and learning benefit at that specific point of transition. The particle classification in the enhanced gravity field generated by the Knelson concentrator was studied in this paper. Three main test parameters, namely rotation speed, backwash water pressure, and solid mass percentage, that affected the classification performance of the Knelson concentrator for the classification tests of quartz and synthetic ore, which consisted of quartz and magnetite, were investigated. The yield of quartz concentrate increased with the rotation speed and decreased with the solid mass percentage and backwash water pressure. A lower backwash water pressure and solid mass percentage could improve the classification efficiency. The classification performance of the Knelson concentrator was comparable to that of the traditional hydrocyclone, with a classification efficiency of 76.84% and cut size of 49 μm when the solid mass percentage was 16.67%, the backwash water pressure was 50 kPa, and the rotation speed was 3600 rpm. The classification performance of quartz in synthetic ore tests was inferior to the single quartz tests, and the magnetite showed a better classification efficiency than the quartz with the same combination of test parameters. This study revealed the classification performance in the separation process of the Knelson concentrator in detail, which was beneficial for clarifying the migration rule of fine-grained minerals in the enhanced gravity field. Saridoscelis Meyrick, 1894 belongs to Yponomeutidae, with 9 described species. A new species, Saridoscelis diffusolinearum Lu & Hsu, sp. nov., is described from Taiwan, with diagnostic characters provided for both sexes herein. We also proposed that S. diffusolinearum sp. nov. is close related to S. kodamai Moriuti, 1961. The new species feeds on a subalpine bush Gaultheria cumingiana Vidal (Ericaceae) further indicating that the host plant of the subfamily Saridoscelinae may restricted to Ericaceae. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the efficacy and safety of toripalimab combined with anlotinib in patients with advanced non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who acquired resistance to epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (EGFR‐TKIs). Materials and Methods: Patients who developed resistance after using first‐ or second‐generation EGFR‐TKIs as their first‐line regimen without EGFR T790M mutation or had disease progression after being treated with third‐generation EGFR‐TKIs as first‐ or second‐line therapy were enrolled. All patients received toripalimab (240 mg/day on Day 1, intravenously) combined with anlotinib (12 mg/day, Days 1–14, orally) once every 3 weeks. Treatment continued until disease progression, or if toxicity was intolerable. The primary endpoint was the objective response rate (ORR) assessed by the investigator. The secondary endpoint was the progression‐free survival (PFS). Results: In total, 19 patients were enrolled between May 2020 and October 2021.The ORR was 0%, and a median PFS was 2.1 months (95% CI 0.251–3.949). Grade ≥3 treatment‐related adverse events (AEs) occurred in 11% patients. Common adverse events included hypothyroidism (12/19), fatigue (9/19), and hypertension (8/19). Patients in stable disease (SD) group had lower abundance of EGFR mutation allele frequency (AF) before enrollment than those in progressive disease (PD) group (p = 0.031). Patients without detectable EGFR mutation (EGFR−) had longer PFS compared to the ones with EGFR mutations (p = 0.059). Patients with high levels of soluble programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD‐L1) at baseline also tended to have longer PFS (p = 0.160). Conclusion: Toripalimab combined with anlotinib was tolerable in EGFR‐TKI‐resistant advanced NSCLC patients not previously treated with chemotherapy. With the frequent occurrence of extreme weather such as typhoons and rainstorms, waterlogging has become one of the most important threats to global crop growth and production. Waterlogging limits plants' access to oxygen and light, leading to disadvantageous changes in metabolism to disturb plant growth and development. To escape the damage of hypoxia or promote the diffusion of oxygen to submerged organs, plants respond to waterlogging stress by regulating their morphological structure, photosynthesis, respiration, energy metabolism, and endogenous plant hormone biosynthesis/signal transduction. The adventitious roots (AR), aerenchyma, and stem internode are the major target structure for waterlogging adaptation. The molecular mechanism of crop survival under waterlogging conditions and the key genes related photosynthesis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) homeostasis, and ethylene signal transduction are reviewed. We also elucidated recent advances in the study of interactions between various regulatory pathways and emphasized the important role of stress memory and cross-stress mechanisms in plant response to abiotic stress, indicating the importance of epigenetic modifications. On the basis of above, the research direction and focus of plants coping with waterlogging stress in the future are proposed. Background: Mental health problems in young people have become a global health burden. The positive effects of physical activity on mental health in adults are well known but still not clear in children. The aim of this study was to investigate to what extent physical activity in early childhood would affect mental health in middle childhood. Methods: From the Dutch GECKO Drenthe birth cohort, 850 children (51.5% boys) were enrolled in this analysis. Physical activity and sedentary time were measured at age 5–6 using ActiGraph GT3X. Mental health was assessed using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) at age 5–6 and age 10–11. Multiple linear regression models were used to estimate the associations between physical activity, sedentary time and SDQ subscales, stratified by gender, adjusting for age, BMI, maternal education level, family size, accelerometer wear time and season, and additionally adjusting for SDQ scores at age 5–6 to take tracking of mental health over time into account. Results: Greater physical activity volume at age 5–6 was associated with lower peer problems scores at age 10–11 in boys and girls. An increase in MVPA was associated with lower peer problems scores in boys (b = -0.445, -0.713 to -0.176) and girls (b = -0.354, -0.601 to -0.107), however, increased sedentary time was linked to higher peer problems scores in boys (b = 1.18, 0.455 to 1.906) and girls (b = 0.870, 0.191 to 1.550). For hyperactivity, higher levels of physical activity volume and MVPA were associated with higher hyperactivity scores in boys. Increased sedentary time was related to lower hyperactivity scores in boys. Further adjustment for SDQ scores at age 5–6 attenuated associations between physical activity and hyperactivity in boys but hardly changed the relationships with peer problems. No significant associations between physical activity and other SDQ subscales or total difficulties scores were observed, neither in boys nor in girls. Conclusions: Children who are more physically active at age 5–6 have fewer peer problems at age 10–11, and for boys, greater activity levels at age 5–6 could be an indicator of hyperactivity at age 10–11. An extended (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev–Petviashvili–Boussinesq equation is studied in this paper to construct periodic solution, n-soliton solution and folded localized excitation. Firstly, with the help of the Hirota's bilinear method and ansatz, some periodic solutions have been derived. Secondly, taking Burgers equation as an auxiliary function, we have obtained n-soliton solution and n-shock wave. Lastly, we present a new variable separation method for (3+1)-dimensional and higher dimensional models, and use it to derive localized excitation solutions. To be specific, we have constructed various novel structures and discussed the interaction dynamics of folded solitary waves. Compared with the other methods, the variable separation solutions obtained in this paper not only directly give the analytical form of the solution u instead of its potential u y , but also provide us a straightforward approach to construct localized excitation for higher order dimensional nonlinear partial differential equation. Cucumber is an important vegetable crop, and grafts often affect the quality and wax loss in cucumber fruit and affect its value. However, their metabolites and molecular mechanisms of action remain unclear. Metabolome and transcriptome analyses were conducted on the fruit peels of self-rooted plants (SR) grafted with white seed pumpkin (WG). The results showed that there were 352 differential metabolites in the fruit peels of the SR and WG. The transcriptome analysis showed 1371 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the WG and SR. These differentially expressed genes were significantly enriched in plant hormone signal transduction, cutin, suberin, wax biosynthesis, phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, and zeatin biosynthesis. By analyzing the correlation between differential metabolites and differentially expressed genes, six candidate genes related to the synthesis of glycitein, kaempferol, and homoeriodictyol were identified as being potentially important. Key transcription factors belonging to the TCP and WRKY families may be the main drivers of transcriptional changes in the peel between the SR and WG. The results of this study have provided a basis for the biosynthesis and regulation of wax loss and quality in grafted cucumbers and represents an important step toward identifying the molecular mechanisms of grafting onto cucumber fruit. Objectives: (1) To calculate the proportions of people who sought mental health and addiction (MHA) specialty services in Nova Scotia, overall and by sex and age. (2) To describe the health and psychosocial profiles of the MHA Intake clients. (3) To identify factors associated with acceptance for MHA services. Methods: The data of the Nova Scotia MHA Intake clients aged 19 to 64 years old in 2020 (N = 10,178) and in 2021 (N = 12,322) were used. The proportions of unique clients in the general population were calculated based on 2021 census data. The percentages of primary presenting concerns, the presence and frequency of psychiatric symptoms in the past month, suicide risk levels, current or past provisional psychiatric diagnosis, medical problems, and psychosocial stressors were calculated. Logistic regression was conducted to identify factors associated with the acceptance of MHA services after the assessment. Results: It was found that 1.48% and 2.33% of Nova Scotians aged 19 to 64 contacted the MHA Intake in 2020 and 2021. Over 66% were self-referrals, followed by physician referrals (28.34%). Mood (28.3%), anxiety (25.17%), and substance use (19.81%) were the top three presenting concerns for the contact. Many clients had a current or past provisional psychiatric diagnosis (58.7% in 2020, 61.8% in 2021). Among the clients, 74.67% and 68.29% reported at least 1 psychosocial stressor in 2020 and 2021, respectively. The clients with a current or past psychiatric diagnosis, suicide risk, and 2 or more psychosocial stressors, those who lived outside of Central Zone, and who had employee assistance program benefits/private insurance, were more likely to be qualified and accepted for MHA services than others. Conclusions: The Intake clients have complex health and psychosocial profiles. Future studies are needed to monitor the trajectories of the clients to reduce inequities in receiving MHA services and improve client outcomes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Using delay‐Doppler maps of Global Navigation Satellite Systems Reflectometry (GNSS‐R) from the TechDemoSat‐1 satellite and considering sea ice and ocean interaction, an innovative method for retrieval of Arctic sea ice concentration (SIC) based on a deep neural network is proposed. This retrieval method shows the potential of future GNSS‐R applications for Arctic missions. Compared with SIC products from Hamburg University, the root mean square errors (RMSE) of retrieved results in March and June 2016 are 0.0284 and 0.0415, respectively. When the retrieved GNSS‐R SIC data are added into the assimilation as supplementary passive microwave remote‐sensing data, it has a positive influence on improving the accuracy of the Arctic SIC forecast. Especially in some edge regions of sea ice, when compared to only assimilating the remote‐sensing data, the regional RMSE of joint assimilation has a maximum decrease of approximately 17% in the 24‐hr forecast time, and over 5% in 72‐hr. Based on GNSS‐R data from TechDemoSat‐1, we combined Delay‐doppler number eigenvalue method and deep neural network to propose an innovative method for estimating sea ice concentration (SIC) at GNSS‐R subsatellite points. The estimated SIC has reasonable accuracy and provides more information at subsatellite points near the grid points of the passive microwave remote sensing product. When it is joint assimilated with passive microwave remote sensing SIC, it has a positive influence on the forecast effect of SIC in the region with rapid change of sea ice. This is the first time that GNSS‐R data has been applied to the prediction of Arctic SIC, which is of great value in promoting the application and development of GNSS‐R in Arctic sea ice forecast. Context: The property transition between metal and semiconductor is the key to improving the properties of transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs). The adsorption of the NbS2 compound in the defect state was adjusted for the first time. The hybrid system overwrites the original surface mechanism of NbS2 and induces indirect band gaps. This modulation mode makes NbS2 convert into a semiconductor and effectively improves the catalytic activity of the material in the system. In addition, the original local magnetic moment of the compound is concentrated in the vacancy region and is improved. The optical properties of the adsorption system indicate that NbS2 compounds can be effectively applied in visible and low-frequency ultraviolet regions. This provides a new idea for the design of the NbS2 compound as a two-dimensional photoelectric material. Methods: In the study, we assume that only one atom is adsorbed on the NbS2 supercell of the defect, and the distance between the two adjacent atoms exceeds 12.74 Å, so the interaction between atoms is ignored in the study. Adsorbed atoms include nonmetallic elements (H, B, C, N, O, F), metallic elements (Fe, Co), and noble metal elements (Pt, Au, Ag). The density functional theory (DFT) was used in the experiment. The non-conservative pseudopotential method was used in the calculation to optimize the crystal structure geometrically. The approximate functional is Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof (HSE06). The calculation method includes the spin-orbit coupling (SOC) effect. The crystal relaxation optimization uses a 7 × 7 × 1 k point grid to calculate niobium disulfide's photoelectric and magnetic properties. A vacuum space of 15Å is introduced in the direction outside the plane, and the free boundary condition is adopted to avoid the interaction between atomic layers. Mulberry leaves are a well-known traditional Chinese medicine herb, and it has been observed since ancient times that leaves collected after frost have superior medicinal properties. Therefore, understanding the changes in critical metabolic components of mulberry leaves, specifically Morus nigra L., is essential. In this study, we conducted widely targeted metabolic profiling analyses on two types of mulberry leaves, including Morus nigra L. and Morus alba L., harvested at different times. In total, we detected over 100 compounds. After frost, 51 and 58 significantly different metabolites were identified in the leaves of Morus nigra L. and Morus alba L., respectively. Further analysis revealed a significant difference in the effect of defrosting on the accumulation of metabolites in the two mulberries. Specifically, in Morus nigra L., the content of 1-deoxynojirimycin (1-DNJ) in leaves decreased after frost, while flavonoids peaked after the second frost. In Morus alba L., the content of DNJ increased after frost, reaching its peak one day after the second frost, whereas flavonoids primarily peaked one week before frost. In addition, an analysis of the influence of picking time on metabolite accumulation in two types of mulberry leaves demonstrated that leaves collected in the morning contained higher levels of DNJ alkaloids and flavonoids. Epigenetic dysregulation is reported in multiple cancers including Ewing sarcoma (EwS). However, the epigenetic networks underlying the maintenance of oncogenic signaling and therapeutic response remain unclear. Using a series of epigenetics‐ and complex‐focused CRISPR screens, RUVBL1, the ATPase component of NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex, is identified to be essential for EwS tumor progression. Suppression of RUVBL1 leads to attenuated tumor growth, loss of histone H4 acetylation, and ablated MYC signaling. Mechanistically, RUVBL1 controls MYC chromatin binding and modulates the MYC‐driven EEF1A1 expression and thus protein synthesis. High‐density CRISPR gene body scan pinpoints the critical MYC interacting residue in RUVBL1. Finally, this study reveals the synergism between RUVBL1 suppression and pharmacological inhibition of MYC in EwS xenografts and patient‐derived samples. These results indicate that the dynamic interplay between chromatin remodelers, oncogenic transcription factors, and protein translation machinery can provide novel opportunities for combination cancer therapy. This paper assessed the growth of CVD composite coatings on three kinds of cermets and the subsequent high-temperature frictional properties. The carbon to nitrogen ratios (C: N) of Ti(C 1-x , N x) powders added to these three cermets were 5:5,7:3 and 10:0, respectively. It was prepared by powder metallurgy. The TiN/α-Al 2 O 3 /Ti(C, N)/TiN multilayer coatings were deposited on different Ti(C, N)-based cermets. The results showed that the crystallinity of the composite coating was affected by the contents of nitrogen content. The inner layer TiN coating exhibited a nano-columnar crystal structure, which detected (111) and (200) orientation texture by XRD. The α-Al 2 O 3 coating and Ti(C, N) coating of the three specimens were coarse columnar crystal structures. The variation in the nitrogen content led to the different performances of the coating. Meanwhile, The CVD coating with a C/N ratio of 7:3 had the best comprehensive properties, because the substrate had similar grain-forming directions and more shape nucleation points. The Electron Backscattered Diffraction (EDSB)、Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) were used to further analyze the microstructure of the samples. The Coating Al 2 O 3 displayed excellent mud (100) value, which indicated that the preferred texture (100) existed and improved the performance of the Al 2 O 3 coating. The adhesion strength of the composite coating on Ti(C 0.7 , N 0.3)-based cermets is the highest. The high-temperature friction wear of the coating was further investigated. Group Y2, which expressed the sample of Ti(C0.7, N0.3)-based cermets CVD coating, demonstrated the lowest wear rate. Malignant melanoma is one of the most common tumours and has the highest mortality rate of all types of skin cancers worldwide. Traditional and novel therapeutic approaches, including surgery, targeted therapy and immunotherapy, have shown good efficacy in the treatment of melanoma. At present, the mainstay of treatment for melanoma is immunotherapy combined with other treatment strategies. However, immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as PD-1 inhibitors, are not particularly effective in the clinical treatment of patients with melanoma. Changes in mitochondrial function may affect the development of melanoma and the efficacy of PD-1 inhibitors. To elucidate the role of mitochondria in the resistance of melanoma to PD-1 inhibitors, this review comprehensively summarises the role of mitochondria in the occurrence and development of melanoma, targets related to the function of mitochondria in melanoma cells and changes in mitochondrial function in different cells in melanoma resistant to PD-1 inhibitors. This review may help to develop therapeutic strategies for improving the clinical response rate of PD-1 inhibitors and prolonging the survival of patients by activating mitochondrial function in tumour and T cells. Aedes albopictus shows a rapid global expansion and dramatic vectorial capacity for various arboviruses, thus posing a severe threat to global health. Although many noncoding RNAs have been confirmed to play functional roles in various biological processes in Ae. albopictus, the roles of circRNA remain a mystery. In the present study, we first performed high-throughput circRNA sequencing in Ae. albopictus. Then, we identified a cysteine desulfurase (CsdA) superfamily gene-originated circRNA, named aal-circRNA-407, which was the third most abundant circRNA in adult females and displayed a fat body highly expressed manifestation and blood feeding-dependent onset. SiRNA-mediated knockdown of circRNA-407 resulted in a decrease in the number of developing follicles and a reduction in follicle size post blood meal. Furthermore, we demonstrated that circRNA-407 can act as a sponge of aal-miR-9a-5p to promote the expression of its target gene Foxl and eventually regulate ovarian development. Our study is the first to report a functional circRNA in mosquitoes, expanding our current understanding of important biological roles in mosquitoes and providing an alternative genetic strategy for mosquito control. The goal of this study is to investigate the dynamic mechanical properties of low yield (LY) point steels (LY100, LY160, and LY225) under high strain rates and elevated temperatures. The separate Hopkinson pressure bar system was used to conduct dynamic compression tests on LY steels at temperatures ranging from 25°C to 800°C and strain rates ranging from 1,000 s−1 to 5,000 s−1. The quasi-static compression tests (0.001 s−1) were conducted at the same temperatures. The stress-strain relationship of the presented three materials under various temperatures and strain rates was acquired. The test results demonstrated that LY100, LY160, and LY225 steels have an obvious temperature-softening effect. The three materials show low strain rate sensitivity under the strain rate is not more than 3,000 s−1. For a given strain rate, the flow stresses of LY100 and LY160 steel are consistent at 400°C and 600°C, respectively, and both materials exhibit dynamic strain aging. Besides, LY225 steel exhibits dynamic strain aging when the temperature is above 400°C. According to the test results, a modified Johnson–Cook model of the LY point steels was established, which can reflect the material properties well. Ensemble forecasting systems have become an important tool for estimating the uncertainties in initial conditions and model formulations and they are receiving increased attention from various applications. The Regional Ensemble Prediction System (REPS), which has operated at the Beijing Meteorological Service (BMS) since 2017, allows for probabilistic forecasts. However, it still suffers from systematic deficiencies during the first couple of forecast hours. This paper presents an integrated probabilistic nowcasting ensemble prediction system (NEPS) that is constructed by applying a mixed dynamic-integrated method. It essentially combines the uncertainty information (i.e., ensemble variance) provided by the REPS with the nowcasting method provided by the rapid-refresh deterministic nowcasting prediction system (NPS) that has operated at the Beijing Meteorological Service (BMS) since 2019. The NEPS provides hourly updated analyses and probabilistic forecasts in the nowcasting and short range (0–6 h) with a spatial grid spacing of 500 m. It covers the three meteorological parameters: temperature, wind, and precipitation. The outcome of an evaluation experiment over the deterministic and probabilistic forecasts indicates that the NEPS outperforms the REPS and NPS in terms of surface weather variables. Chemodynamic therapy (CDT), an emerging oncology treatment, has received considerable attention owing to its high selectivity, less aggressiveness, and endogenous stimulation. However, the complex intra-tumor environment limits the therapeutic effect. In this study, Cu+ was directly doped into the structure of the UiO-66 matrix using an in situ one-pot oil bath method. The as-formed UiO-66/Cu possessed a large surface area, making it feasible to modify folic acid (FA) and carry more chemotherapeutic agents like tirapazamine (TPZ), thus forming UiO-66/Cu-FA-TPZ nanoplatforms. For CDT, the nanoplatform catalyzed the cyclic generation of the highly oxidizing hydroxyl radical (·OH) from H 2 O 2. Particularly, low-frequency ultrasound enhanced the curative effect. Notably, in a tumor, a severe hypoxic environment and ultrasound can activate more TPZ for safe and efficient chemotherapy, achieving synergistic and hypoxia-activated tumor treatment with a low risk of side effects. Moreover, the nanoplatform exhibits computed tomography imaging functions for combined diagnosis and treatment. Our designed nanoplatform overcomes the dilemma of insufficient efficacy from conventional therapy attributed to a hypoxic environment, expecting to guide the design of future treatment regimens for hypoxic tumors. This research paper proposes a Lagrangian method to address the passing capacity of the calculation problem (PCCP) for a hub station in a high-speed railway (HSR) system. The passing capacity of a hub station is critical for determining the train timetable and maximizing the number of trains that can operate on different lines. The objective of this study is to determine the maximum number of trains that can pass through, start at, or end at a hub station. To achieve this objective, a mathematical model was introduced to solve the PCCP. The model was decomposed into two parts using a Lagrangian relaxation algorithm. The first part of the model was a simple train arrival problem (TAP) that reflected the timing of trains at the hub station with simultaneous arrival and departure time constraints. The second part of the model was a train spatio-temporal routing problem (TSRP) that aimed to solve the shortest spatio-temporal path of trains with free conflict with the train's trajectory. A real instance was provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach and the effectiveness of the Lagrangian method. Simple Summary: The stomach is one of the primary sites for the digestion and absorption of nutrients. Quantifying related gene expression patterns using quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) is conducive to further understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying nutrition metabolism in the yak stomach. The authenticity of RT-qPCR data is affected by the selection of reference genes. Unfortunately, no studies have demonstrated suitable reference genes for the normalization of RT-qPCR data in the yak stomach. In this study, 15 candidate reference genes (CRGs) were identified according to transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) results and the previous literature. Five algorithms were used to evaluate the stability of the CRGs across the entire developmental stage in the yak stomach. RPS15, MRPL39, and RPS23 were found to be the most stable genes in the yak stomach from birth to adulthood. This study indicates the appropriate reference genes for gene expression analysis via RT-qPCR in the yak stomach. Efficient nutritional assimilation and energy metabolism in the stomachs of yaks contribute to their adaption to harsh environments. Accurate gene expression profile analysis will help further reveal the molecular mechanism of nutrient and energy metabolism in the yak stomach. RT-qPCR is regarded as an accurate and dependable method for analyzing gene expression. The selection of reference genes is essential to obtain meaningful RT-qPCR results, especially in longitudinal gene expression studies of tissues and organs. Our objective was to select and validate optimal reference genes from across the transcriptome as internal controls for longitudinal gene expression studies in the yak stomach. In this study, 15 candidate reference genes (CRGs) were determined according to transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) results and the previous literature. The expression levels of these 15 CRGs were quantified using RT-qPCR in the yak stomach, including the rumen, reticulum, omasum and abomasum at five stages: 0 days, 20 days, 60 days, 15 months and three years old (adult). Subsequently, the expression stabilities of these 15 CRGs were evaluated via four algorithms: geNorm, NormFinder, BestKeeper and the comparative CT method. Furthermore, RefFinder was employed to obtain a comprehensive ranking of the stability of CRGs. The analysis results indicate that RPS15, MRPL39 and RPS23 are the most stable genes in the yak stomach throughout the growth cycle. In addition, to verify the reliability of the selected CRGs, the relative expression levels of HMGCS2 were quantified via RT-qPCR using the three most stable or the three least stable CRGs. Exosome, a subpopulation of extracellular vesicles, plays diverse roles in various biological processes. As one of the most abundant components of exosomes, exosomal proteins have been revealed to participate in the development of many diseases, such as carcinoma, sarcoma, melanoma, neurological disorders, immune responses, cardiovascular diseases, and infection. Thus, understanding the functions and mechanisms of exosomal proteins potentially assists clinical diagnosis and targeted delivery of therapies. However, current knowledge about the function and application of exosomal proteins is still limited. In this review, we summarize the classification of exosomal proteins, and the roles of exosomal proteins in exosome biogenesis and disease development, as well as in the clinical applications. Background. CEACAM1 has been shown to be aberrantly expressed in a variety of tumors, and modulation of CEACAM1-related signaling pathways has been suggested as a novel approach for cancer immunotherapy in recent years. However, its role in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is unclear. Methods. The relationship between CEACAM1 and ccRCC was demonstrated based on data from TCGA, GEO, and HPA databases. And the relationship between clinicopathological features and CEACAM1 expression was also assessed. Survival curve analysis was performed to analyze the prognostic relationship between CEACAM1 expression and ccRCC. Protein interaction network analysis was used to analyze the relationship between CEACAM1 and microenvironment-related proteins. In addition, the immunomodulatory role of CEACAM1 in ccRCC was assessed by analyzing CEACAM1 and immune cell infiltration. Results. The expression of CEACAM1 was lower in ccRCC tissues than in adjacent normal tissues, and its expression level was negatively correlated with tumor size status (P < 0.001), metastasis status (P = 0.009), pathological stage (P = 0.002), gender (P < 0.001), histological grade (P < 0.001), and primary therapy outcome (P = 0.045) of ccRCC. Survival curve analysis showed that ccRCC patients with lower CEACAM1 expression exhibited shorter overall survival (P < 0.001), and CEACAM1 interacted with microenvironmental molecules such as fibronectin and integrins. Furthermore, immune infiltration analysis showed that CEACAM1 expression correlated with CD8+ and CD4+ T cells, macrophage, neutrophil, and dendritic cell infiltration in ccRCC. Conclusions. CEACAM1 expression correlates with progression, prognosis, and immune cell infiltration in ccRCC patients, and it may be a promising prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for ccRCC. Differential abundance analysis (DAA) is one central statistical task in microbiome data analysis. A robust and powerful DAA tool can help identify highly confident microbial candidates for further biological validation. Current microbiome studies frequently generate correlated samples from different microbiome sampling schemes such as spatial and temporal sampling. In the past decade, a number of DAA tools for correlated microbiome data (DAA-c) have been proposed. Disturbingly, different DAA-c tools could sometimes produce quite discordant results. To recommend the best practice to the field, we performed the first comprehensive evaluation of existing DAA-c tools using real data-based simulations. Overall, the linear model-based methods LinDA, MaAsLin2 and LDM are more robust than methods based on generalized linear models. Gold catalysts possess the advantages of water and oxygen resistance, with the possibility of catalyzing many novel chemical transformations, especially in the syntheses of small-molecule skeletons, in addition to achieving the rapid construction of multiple chemical bonds and ring systems in one step. In this feature paper, we summarize recent advances in the construction of small-molecule scaffolds, such as benzene, cyclopentene, furan, and pyran, based on gold-catalyzed cyclization of arylalkyne derivatives within the last decade. We hope that this review will serve as a useful reference for chemists to apply gold-catalyzed strategies to the syntheses of related natural products and active molecules, hopefully providing useful guidance for the exploration of additional novel gold-catalyzed approaches. Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) combined with chemotherapy is one of the standards of care for advanced non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without driver mutations. However, the biomarker of combination therapy is still unknown. Although previous studies have confirmed that low allele frequency adjusted blood‐based tumor mutational burden (LAF‐bTMB) is associated with the efficacy of ICI monotherapy, there has been no report on the correlation between the efficacy of LAF‐bTMB and ICI combined chemotherapy. This study aimed to explore whether LAF‐bTMB can be used as a predictive biomarker for the efficacy of immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy in advanced NSCLC. Methods: This study enrolled patients diagnosed with advanced NSCLC and who received ICI combined with chemotherapy for first‐line therapy from May 2020 to December 2021 at Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. Clinical information, treatment information, survival data, and peripheral blood samples of every patient before treatment were collected. Next‐generation sequencing was performed on plasma samples to estimate bTMB and LAF‐bTMB. Results: A total of 42 patients with NSCLC were enrolled. In this cohort, 19 patients achieved partial response (PR), and the objective response rate (ORR) was 45.2%. The median progression‐free survival (PFS) of all patients was 13.4 months (95% CI, 7.49–19.72). Both PFS and the overall survival (OS) were significantly longer in the responder (R) group than in the non‐responder (NR) group (median PFS, 16.4 months vs. 7.2 months, p = 0.028; median OS, NE vs. 9.3 months, p = 0.016). There was no significant difference in bTMB and LAF‐BTMB between the R and NR group. The ORR of patients with LAF‐bTMB≤8muts/Mb was significantly higher than that of patients with LAF‐bTMB >8muts/Mb (ORR, 61% vs. 26%, respectively, p = 0.033). When LAF‐bTMB ≤8muts/Mb or > 20muts/Mb, ORR was significantly higher than that of patients with LAF‐bTMB between 8 and 20muts/Mb (ORR were 57% and 21%, p = 0.047). No correlation has been found between LAF‐bTMB and PFS or OS. Conclusions: This study confirmed that neither bTMB nor LAF‐bTMB is feasible as a potential predictor of first‐line immunochemotherapy for advanced NSCLC. In this paper, the effect of substitutional doping of boron (B), carbon (C), nitrogen (N), oxygen (O), and phosphorus (P) at the S-site on the electronic structure of the monolayer TiS2 system is investigated using a first-principles calculation method. The effect of nonmetal doping on the band gap of TiS2 and its mechanism were studied by analyzing the stability, electronic structure, and charge transfer of the system. By calculating the electron cloud overlap population and formation energy, we confirmed that the system is stable, and the Ti–X bond length of the doped system undergoes different degrees of distortion. The properties of the B, C, and N doped system show different properties with different doping concentrations; the band gap of the O-atom system gradually expands with the rise of the doping rate. The hybridization positions of the impurity and the intrinsic atoms are found by comparing the DOS; combined with the charge density difference, we confirmed the interaction of impurity atoms with the system and revealed the bonding process of different systems. Objective. This study is aimed at investigating the association between the twenty-four-hour ambulatory blood pressure variability monitoring (ABPM) and cerebral small vessel disease (cSVD) burden in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients. Methods. 115 AIS patients with demographics, vascular risk factors, 24 h ABPM, and brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were retrospectively enrolled. 3.0 T MRI was used to assess cSVD burden by combining four MRI markers including white matter hyperintensities (WMHs), cerebral microbleeds (CMBs), perivascular spaces (PVS), and lacunes. Correlation analysis was conducted to detect whether ABPM was associated with cSVD burden in AIS patients. Results. 115 AIS patients with mean age 68.77 ± 10.26 years and 75.7% male were enrolled in this study. 112 AIS patients (97.4%) had at least one cSVD marker. Spearman correlation analysis indicated that hypertension was positively correlated with cSVD burden (ρ = 0.21 , P = 0.07). High-density lipoprotein (HDL) was negatively correlated with cSVD burden (ρ = − 0.21 , P = 0.02). Blood pressure variability such as 24 h mean SBP (ρ = 0.23 , P = 0.01), day mean SBP (ρ = 0.23 , P = 0.01), and night mean SBP (ρ = 0.20 , P = 0.04) was positively correlated with higher cSVD burden. Ordinal logistic regression analysis demonstrated that higher 24 h SBP SD and day mean SBP were independent risk factors for cSVD after controlling for other confounders. Conclusions. Higher BPV was significantly related to total cSVD burden in AIS patients. 24 h SBP SD and day mean SBP were independent risk factors for cSVD burden in AIS patients but not DBP or DBP variability. Theranostics play an important role in cancer treatment due to its realized real-time tracking of therapeutic efficacy in situ. In this work, we have designed and synthesized a terpyridine-modified pillar [5]arenes (TP5). By the coordination of terpyridine and Zn2+, the complex TP5/Zn was obtained. Then, supramolecular amphiphile can be constructed by using host–guest complexation between a polyethylene glycol contained guest (PM) and TP5/Zn. Combining the fluorescence properties from the terpyridine group and the amphiphilicity from the system, the obtained TP5/Zn/PM can further be self-assembled into fluorescent particles with diameters of about 150 nm in water. This article describes a class of jump-uncertain stochastic control systems, and derives an Itô–Liu formula with jump. We characterize an optimal control law, that satisfies the Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman equation with jump. Then, this paper deduces the optimal portfolio game under uncertain stochastic financial markets with jump. The information of players is symmetrical. The financial market is constituted of a risk-free asset and a risky asset whose price process is subjected to the jump-uncertain stochastic Black–Scholes model. The game is formulated by two utility maximization problems, each investor tries to maximize his relative utility, which is the weighted average of terminal wealth difference between his terminal wealth and that of his competitor. Finally, the explicit expressions of equilibrium investment strategies and value functions for the constant absolute risk-averse and constant relative risk-averse utility function are derived by using the dynamic programming principle.
