Background: Uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) is a gynecological malignant tumor with high incidence and poor prognosis. Although immunotherapy has brought significant survival benefits to advanced UCEC patients, traditional evaluation indicators cannot accurately identify all potential beneficiaries of immunotherapy. Consequently, it is necessary to construct a new scoring system to predict patient prognosis and responsiveness of immunotherapy. Methods: CIBERSORT combined with weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), non-negative matrix factorization (NMF), and random forest algorithms to screen the module associated with CD8+ T cells, and key genes related to prognosis were selected out by univariate, least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) and multivariate Cox regression analyses to develop the novel immune risk score (NIRS). Kaplan–Meier (K-M) analysis was used to compare the difference of survival between high- and low- NIRS groups. We also explored the correlations between NIRS, immune infiltration and immunotherapy, and three external validation sets were used to verify the predictive performance of NIRS. Furthermore, clinical subgroup analysis, mutation analysis, differential expression of immune checkpoints, and drug sensitivity analysis were performed to generate individualized treatments for patients with different risk scores. Finally, gene set variation analysis (GSVA) was conducted to explore the biological functions of NIRS, and qRT-PCR was applied to verify the differential expressions of three trait genes at cellular and tissue levels. Results: Among the modules clustered by WGCNA, the magenta module was most positively associated with CD8+ T cells. Three genes (CTSW, CD3D and CD48) were selected to construct NIRS after multiple screening procedures. NIRS was confirmed as an independent prognostic factor of UCEC, and patients with high NIRS had significantly worse prognosis compared to those with low NIRS. The high NIRS group showed lower levels of infiltrated immune cells, gene mutations, and expression of multiple immune checkpoints, indicating reduced sensitivity to immunotherapy. Three module genes were identified as protective factors positively correlated with the level of CD8+ T cells. Conclusions: In this study, we constructed NIRS as a novel predictive signature of UCEC. White light emitting diodes (LEDs) suffer from two most common drawbacks: the deficiency of the red component and the poor thermal stability of silicone. Ce3+-doped garnet phosphors with tailor-made luminescence properties can be achieved by variations in {A}, {B}, and {C} cation sites. Herein, a simultaneous ion co-substitution design strategy has been adopted to synthesize a series of (Y, Ca)3(Al, Mg)2(Al, Si)3O12 garnet phosphors and corresponding phosphor-in-glass (PiG) films. The co-substitution is finely restricted to the assigned sites. The emission peak is shifted from 529 to 565 nm, which is beneficial to obtain low color temperatures and high color rendering using a single phosphor for white LEDs. By employing the as-synthesized phosphor, the corresponding PiG films were fabricated by the low temperature co-sintering technology using the SiO2–B2O3–ZnO–Na2O glass system characterized with excellent thermal stability and moisture resistance. The morphological and elemental analyses demonstrated that the as-made phosphor powders were uniformly distributed in the glass host without any interfacial reactions. Finally, modular white LEDs with a high color rendering (Ra = 82.7) is achieved through the as-synthesized PiG film on an InGaN blue chip. This study may open up a facile approach to obtain high quality luminescence based on the mono-luminescence center, avoiding excitation energy wastage and low quantum efficiency aroused by multi-luminescence centers or color compensation phosphors in glass. Using a green and convenient method to prepare fluoride red phosphor is an important challenge for industrialization applications. In this work, K2SiF6:Mn4+ red phosphor was successfully prepared through a brief one-step co-precipitation method without HF. A simplified and non-toxic ion exchange strategy for the formation of narrow-band red-emitting K2SiF6:Mn4+ phosphors was developed using different solvent (HAc, H3PO4, HNO3, HCl, H2O). The photoluminescence intensity of the prepared K2SiF6:Mn4+ red phosphor was the highest when the pH of the reaction solution was 1.0. Furthermore, using K2SiF6:Mn4+ as red component, the warm white light LED (light-emitting diode) with low correlated color temperature (CCT = 4095 K), high color rendering index (CRI, Ra = 87) was achieved, which proved that the phosphor synthesized by this method had great application potential. Abstract: Superconductors Ba1−x K x BiO3 and body-centered double perovskites Ba1−x K x Bi1−y Na y O3 have been selectively synthesized by a facile hydrothermal route. The appropriate ratio and adding sequence of initial reagents, alkalinity, reaction temperature and time are the critical factors that influence the crystal growth of the compounds. The purity and homogeneity of the crystals were detected by the ICP, SEM, EDX and TEM studies. Magnetic measurements show that the superconducting transition temperatures T C of Ba1−x K x BiO3 decrease from 22K (for x =0.35) to 8K (for x =0.55) with increasing the K doping level. Abstract: The perovskite-type oxides La0.5Sr0.5Mn1−x Fe x O3 (x =0.2–0.5) were synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions. Crystal growths of the samples were sensitive to the Mn-containing precursor, alkalinity and the reaction temperature. All the compounds corresponded to orthorhombic structure of space group Pnma. The curves M vs. T for the compositions with x =0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 indicated the coexistence of ferro- and anti-ferromagnetic contribution. The temperature dependence ρ(T) is semiconducting for all the compounds and explained well by the variable range hopping rather than the adiabatic small polaron hopping. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

In this work, a novel red-emitting oxyfluoride phosphor Na2NbOF5:Mn4+ with an ultra-intense zero-phonon line (ZPL) was successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method. The phase composition and luminescent properties of Na2NbOF5:Mn4+ were studied in detail. The photoluminescence excitation spectrum contains two intense excitation bands centered at 369 and 470 nm, which match well with commercial UV and blue light-emitting diode (LED) chips. When excited by 470 nm blue light, Na2NbOF5:Mn4+ exhibits red light emission dominated by ZPL. Notably, the color purity of the Na2NbOF5:Mn4+ red phosphor can reach 99.9%. Meanwhile, the Na2NbOF5:Mn4+ phosphor has a shorter fluorescence decay time than commercial K2SiF6:Mn4+, which is conducive to fast switching of images in display applications. Profiting from the intense ZPL, white light-emitting diode (WLED) with high color rendering index of Ra = 86.2 and low correlated color temperature of Tc = 3133 K is realized using yellow YAG:Ce3+ and red Na2NbOF5:Mn4+ phosphor. The WLED fabricated using CsPbBr3 quantum dots (QDs) and red Na2NbOF5:Mn4+ phosphor shows a wide color gamut of 127.56% NTSC (National Television Standard Committee). Abstract: A series of red-emitting Eu3+-doped phosphors SrLa2Mg2W2O12 were successfully prepared by the solid state reaction and their luminescence properties were investigated in detail. Under 464nm light excitation, the emission intensity at 613nm increased with the Eu3+ ion concentration rising, and the quenching effect did not appear until the Eu3+ ion concentration reached 25%, and the critical distance was calculated to be 7.74Å. The emission intensity of Sr(La0.75Eu0.25)2Mg2W2O12 is approximately three times higher than that of the commercial red phosphor Y2O3:Eu3+ under the blue light, meanwhile, the quantum efficiency of Sr(La0.75Eu0.25)2Mg2W2O12 is about two times higher than that of Y2O3:Eu3+. The Commission Internationale de l′Eclairage chromaticity coordinate of Sr(La0.75Eu0.25)2Mg2W2O12 is (x=0.660, y=0.340), which is closed to the standard of NTSC (x=0.670, y=0.330). The results indicate that Sr(La1−x Eu x )2Mg2W2O12 could be a potential red phosphor in fabrication of blue chips WLEDs. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: Hydrothermal synthesis, characterization and magnetic properties of a series of ABO3-perovskites LaFe1−x Cr x O3 (0≤x≤1) are reported. The alkalinity in initial reaction mixtures plays a critical role in controlling the designed stoichiometry of the final compositions. Their magnetic properties are strongly dependent on the compositions and a maximum magnetic moment is found for the sample at x=0.5. Weak ferromagnetic interaction observed for the samples from x=0 to 0.9 arises from the presence of Fe–O–Fe antisymmetric exchange and Fe–O–Cr superexchange interaction. The weak ferromagnetism as well as the linear variation of the lattice parameters implies the possible random distribution of Fe and Cr ions in B sites of the perovskites. The evolution of magnetic ordering transition temperatures has a close relationship with substituent ratios, for the competition of antiferromagnetism and ferromagnetism. The saturated magnetic moment shows a great improvement compared with that for the samples synthesized by solid state method. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: The calcium-doped manganates, Pr1− x Ca x MnO3 (x=0.39, 0.46, 0.70, 0.76), were synthesized as cube-shaped crystalline phases under mild hydrothermal conditions for the first time. The crystals could be grown in one step from solutions of metal salts and potassium hydroxide at temperatures ∼240°C, and found to adopt perovskite-like structure (space group Pbnm). Samples were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, inductively coupled plasma analysis and variable temperature dc/ac magnetic susceptibility. The studies indicate that formation of the materials is dependent on the alkalinity and composition of the initial reaction mixtures. The magnetic properties show spin-glass-like behavior due to competing ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) exchange interactions in Pr1− x Ca x MnO3 with , 0.46. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
