A new grey phase plane control algorithm is proposed to overcome the problem of low control accuracy in normal phase plane control algorithm. The grey phase plane control rules can be established by the experts' control experience. By the process of greying, grey decision-making and whitening for the error and the error change rate of the control system, the control variables can be obtained, thereafter the grey phase plane control is implemented A pneumatic position servo experimental system with the DGPL type rod-less cylinder selected as control object has been developed to compare the accuracy between the normal phase plane control method and the proposed method in this paper. Abstract: In this paper, we extend technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) for solving large scale multiple objective programming problems involving fuzzy parameters. These fuzzy parameters are characterized as fuzzy numbers. For such problems, the α-Pareto optimality is introduced by extending the ordinary Pareto optimality on the basis of the α-level sets of fuzzy numbers. An interactive fuzzy decision making algorithm for generating α-Pareto optimal solution through TOPSIS approach is provided where the decision maker (DM) is asked to specify the degree α and the relative importance of objectives. This paper investigates decision-theoretic planning in sophisticated autonomous agents operating in environments of real-world complexity. An example might be a planetary rover exploring a largely unknown planet. It is argued that existing algorithms for decision-theoretic planning are based on a logically incorrect theory of rational decision making. Plans cannot be evaluated directly in terms of their expected values, because plans can be of different scopes, and they can interact with other previously adopted plans. Furthermore, in the real world, the search for optimal plans is completely intractable. In this paper, the completion problems for chordal graphs and block graphs are discussed using graph theory. Based on the completion theorem for 1-chordal graph, we give the completion theorems for 2-chordal graph and 3-chordal graph, make the completion problem extend to n -chordal graph. We also give the definition of block graph and discuss the completion for 1-chordal block graph, 2-chordal block graph, and 3-chordal block graph.
