Nitride wide-bandgap semiconductors possess a wide tunable energy bandgap and abundant coordination anionic groups. This suggests their potential to display nonlinear optical (NLO) properties in the UV wavelength spectrum. This paper reports recent progress and material discoveries in exploring UV NLO structures using nitrides. The study emphasizes their underlying structure–property correlations in order to provide a summary of the potential performance and application value of important nitride NLO crystals. Additionally, the text underscores the benefits of nitrides in terms of optical transparency, second-harmonic-generation effects, and the birefringent phase matching output wavelength limits, while addressing current issues in terms of theoretical outlook and experimental exploration. Genomic selection is becoming increasingly important in animal and plant breeding, and is attracting greater attention for human disease risk prediction. This review covers the most commonly used statistical methods and some extensions of them, i.e., ridge regression and genomic best linear unbiased prediction, Bayesian alphabet, and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator. Then it discusses the measurement of the performance of genomic selection and factors affecting the prediction of performance. Among the measurements of prediction performance, the most important and commonly used measurement is prediction accuracy. In simulation studies where true breeding values are available, accuracy of genomic estimated breeding value can be calculated directly. In real or industrial data studies, either training-testing approach or k-fold cross-validation is commonly employed to validate methods. Factors influencing the accuracy of genomic selection include linkage disequilibrium between markers and quantitative trait loci, genetic architecture of the trait, and size and composition of the training population. Genomic selection has been implemented in the breeding programs of dairy cattle, beef cattle, pigs and poultry. Genomic selection in other species has also been intensively researched, and is likely to be implemented in the near future.

To investigate the role of regulation, uptake and distribution of miR-155 targeted radiolabeled probes in MCF-7 cell line and to provide an effective candidate probe for future in vivo studies. MiR-155 targeted or nonsense control probe was radiolabeled with technetium-99m (99mTc) using bifunctional chelator NHS-MAG3. The serum stability was evaluated by the Mini-Scan thin layer chromatography. After transfected in MCF-7 cells, miR-155 targeted probe was evaluated by western blotting. Its cellular uptake was measured at different time points. Further, the distribution of fluorescent protein labeled FAM and nonsense probes were evaluated in MCF-7 cells by confocal microscopy. The radiolabeled efficiency of 99mTc-labeled miR-155 targeted probe was 97%, radiochemical purity was greater than 98%, and radioactive specific activity was 3.75 GBq/μg. In fresh human serum for 12 h, its radiochemical purity was greater than 95%. Compared with untreated cells, unlabeled and labeled miR-155 targeted probes up-regulated the expression of C/EBPβ protein in MCF-7 cells. The cellular uptake of 99mTc-labeled miR-155 targeted probe was significantly higher than that of untreated cells in MCF-7 tumor cells. Furthermore, the fluorescence-labeled miR-155 targeted probe showed a stable and efficient targeting distribution in MCF-7 cells at 24 h. Therefore, miR-155 targeted radiolabeled probe has good targeting and biological activity at the cellular level in MCF-7 cells, and has potential application value for in vivo future imaging.

Water dissolved in nominally anhydrous minerals (NAMs) can be transported to deep regions of the Earth through subducting slabs, thereby significantly influencing the physicochemical properties of deep Earth materials and impacting dynamic processes in the deep Earth. Stishovite, a prominent mineral found in subducting slabs, remains stable at mantle conditions ranging from pressure of 9–50 GPa and can incorporate varying amounts of water (H+, OH−, and H2O) within its crystal structure. Consequently, stishovite plays a crucial role in transporting water into deep Earth through subducting slabs. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the research progress concerning water (hydrogen) solubility in stishovite. The key factors that govern water solubility in stishovite are summarized as temperature, pressure, water fugacity and aluminum content. Combined with published results on the dependence of water solubility on the aforementioned parameters, this paper proposes a new equation for water solubility in Al-bearing stishovite can be described by the relationship. Calculation results based on this equation suggest that stishovite may effectively absorb water released from processes such as hydrous mineral breakdown, dehydration reactions, and volume reduction, ultimately contributing to the presence of a water-rich transition zone. The transmembrane glycoprotein adhesion molecule CD146 is overexpressed in a wide variety of cancers. CD146 expression constitutes a marker of poor prognosis and correlates with cancer progression. Through molecular imaging, a specific biomarker's expression and distribution can be viewed in vivo non‐invasively. Radionuclide‐labeled monoclonal antibodies or relevant fragments that target CD146 may find potential applications in cancer imaging, thereby offering tremendous value in cancer diagnosis, staging, prognosis evaluation, and prediction of drug resistance. This review discusses the recent developments of CD146‐targeted molecular imaging via nuclear medicine, especially in malignant melanoma, brain tumor, lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer. Phononic crystals are a kind of artificial acoustic metamaterial whose mass density and elastic modulus are periodically arranged. The precise and efficient design of phononic crystals with specific bandgap characteristics has attracted increasing attention in past decades. In this paper, an improved adaptive genetic algorithm is proposed for the reverse customization of two-dimensional phononic crystals designed to maximize the relative bandwidth at low frequencies. The energy band dispersion relation and transmission loss of the optimal structure are calculated by the finite-element method, and the effective wave-attenuation effect in the bandgap range is verified. This provides a solution for the custom-made design of acoustic metamaterials with excellent low-frequency bandgap sound insulation or other engineering applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Converting and patterning high‐quality perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) into flexible thin films is of great significance for high‐performance solid‐state optical applications. However, the poor stability and low quantum efficiency of PQDs after film formation is a big challenge hindering their usability. Here, an in situ synthesis strategy to prepare ligand‐free long‐term stable CsPb(Br0.3I0.7)3@poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) PQDs fibers with thermal responsive fluorescence performance is demonstrated. The luminescence of the CsPb(Br0.3I0.7)3@PMMA PQDs fibers can rapidly and reversibly quench and recover between heating and cooling cycles. It reveals that the thermally induced phase transition of CsPb(Br0.3I0.7)3 results in this thermally reversible luminescence phenomenon. This temperature‐reversible luminescence characteristic not only deepens the comprehension of the temperature‐dependent phase transition behavior of perovskite materials but also broadens their applications in the fields of information encryption storage, anti‐counterfeiting, temperature warning, and other temperature‐responsive fields. With the rapid development of the electronics industry, there is a growing demand for packaging materials that possess both high thermal conductivity (TC) and low electrical conductivity (EC). However, traditional insulating fillers such as boron nitride, aluminum nitride, and alumina (Al2O3) have relatively low intrinsic TC. When graphene, which exhibits both superhigh TC and EC, is used as a filler to fill epoxy resin, the TC of blends can be much higher than that of blends containing more traditional fillers. However, the high EC of graphene limits its application in cases where electrical insulation is required. To address this challenge, a method for coating graphene sheets with an in situ grown Al2O3 layer has been proposed for the fabrication of epoxy-based composites with both high TC and low EC. In the presence of a cationic surfactant, a dense Al2O3 layer with a network structure can be formed on the surface of graphene sheets. When the total content of Al2O3 and graphene mixed filler reached 30 wt%, the TC of the epoxy composite reached 0.97 W m−1 K−1, while the EC remained above 1011 Ω·cm. Finite element simulations accurately predicted TC and EC values in accordance with experimental results. Liquid rubber is a common filler introduced to epoxy resin to improve its toughness for electrical insulation and electronic packaging applications. The improvement of toughness by adding liquid rubber to epoxy resin leads to the variation of its dielectric properties and relaxation behaviors and it has not been systematically studied yet. In this paper, four kinds of liquid rubber with different polarity were selected and the corresponding epoxy/liquid rubber composites have been prepared. By analyzing the temperature and frequency dependence of dielectric spectra, we found that a lower relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the epoxy/liquid rubber composites could be achieved by reducing the polarity of liquid rubber filler. These results also confirm that the polarity of liquid rubber plays a critical role in determining the α transition relaxation strength of rubber molecules at about −50 °C, as well as the relaxation time of interfacial polarization. In addition, the conductivity of rubber phase with different polarity were investigated by studying the apparent activation energy of interfacial polarization calculated from the Arrhenius plot. This study can provide a theoretical basis for designing high-performance epoxy/liquid rubber composite insulating materials for industrial use.

Sub-wavelength chiral resonators formed from artificial structures exhibit exceedingly large chiroptical responses compared to those observed in natural media. Owing to resonant excitation, chiral near fields can be significantly enhanced for these resonators, holding great promise for developing enantioselective photonic components such as biochemical sensors based on circular dichroism (CD) and spin-dependent nonlinear imaging. In the present work, strong linear and nonlinear chiroptical responses (scattering CD > 0.15 and nonlinear differential CDs > 0.4) at visible and near infrared frequencies are reported for the first time for individual micrometer-scale plasmonic and dielectric helical structures. By leveraging dark-field spectroscopy and nonlinear optical microscopy, the circular-polarization-selective scattering behavior and nonlinear optical responses (e.g., second harmonic generation and two-photon photoluminescence) of 3D printed micro-helices with feature sizes comparable to the wavelength (total length is ∼5λ) are demonstrated. These micro-helices provide potential for readily accessible photonic platforms, facilitating an enantiomeric analysis of chiral materials. One such example is the opportunity to explore ultracompact photonic devices based on single, complex meta-atoms enabled by state-of-the-art 3D fabrication techniques. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As a wide bandgap semiconductor, SiC holds great importance for high temperature and high power devices. It is known that the intrinsic defects play key roles in determining the overall electronic properties of semiconductors; however, a comprehensive understanding of the intrinsic defect properties in the prototype 4H-SiC is still lacking. In this study, we have systematically investigated the electronic properties and kinetic behaviors of intrinsic point defects and defect complexes in 4H-SiC using advanced hybrid functional calculations. Our results show that all the point defects in 4H-SiC have relatively high formation energies, i.e., low defect concentrations even at high growth temperatures. Interestingly, it is found that the migration barriers are very high for vacancies (>3 eV) but relatively low for interstitial defects (∼1 eV) in SiC. Meanwhile, the diffusion energy barriers of defects strongly depend on their charge states due to the charge-state-dependent local environments. Furthermore, we find that VSi in SiC, a key defect for quantum spin manipulation, is unstable compared to the spin-unpolarized VC–CSi complex in terms of the total energy (under p-type conditions). Fortunately, the transformation barrier from VSi to VC–CSi is as high as 4 eV, which indicates that VSi could be stable at room (or not very high) temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The flammability and gas barrier properties are essential for package material. Herein, a highly-oriented self-assembly nanocoating composed of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and montmorillonite (MMT) was prepared for endowing polyethylene terephthalate (PET) films with excellent flame retardancy and gas barrier properties. The specific regular nanosheet structure of the PVA/MMT composite nanocoating was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and the vertical burning test (VBT) suggested that the thermal stability and flame-retardancy of the coated PET films were considerably improved with more pick-up of the resulting nanocoating. When reaching 650 °C, there was still 22.6% char residual left for coated PET film, while only 6% char residual left for pristine PET film. During the vertical burning test, the flame did not spread through the whole PET film with the protection of PVA/MMT nanocoating, and no afterflame was observed. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) is consistent with vertical burning test, proving that the thermal stability and flame retardancy of coated PET films were considerably enhanced with the increment of PVA/MMT. Thanks to the multi-layer structure, PVA/MMT nanocoating could effectively improve the gas barrier properties of PET films, and the oxygen vapor transmittance rate and water vapor transmittance rate of PET films were more than four hundred times lower and 30% lower than those of neat PET film. Our work demonstrates that bi-functional flame retardant and gas barrier materials could be gained via constructing inorganic/organic highly-oriented self-assembly nanocoating, which is promising in the area of packaging. Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of iGlarLixi in the Asian Pacific (AP) population with type 2 diabetes (T2D) using derived time‐in‐ranges calculated from seven‐point self‐measured blood glucose. Methods: Two phase III trials were analysed. LixiLan‐O‐AP was performed in insulin‐naive T2D patients (n = 878) randomized to iGlarLixi, glargine 100 units/mL (iGlar) or lixisenatide (Lixi). LixiLan‐L‐CN was performed in insulin‐treated T2D patients (n = 426) randomized to iGlarLixi or iGlar. Changes in derived time‐in‐ranges from baseline to end‐of‐treatment (EOT) and estimated treatment differences (ETDs) were analysed. The proportions of patients achieving 70% or higher derived time‐in‐range (dTIR), 5% or higher dTIR improvement, and the composite triple target (≥ 70% dTIR, < 4% derived time‐below‐the‐range [dTBR] and < 25% derived time‐above‐the‐range [dTAR]) were calculated. Results: The changes from baseline to EOT in dTIR with iGlarLixi were greater versus iGlar (ETD1: 11.45% [95% CI, 7.66% to 15.24%]) or Lixi (ETD2: 20.54% [95% CI, 15.74% to 25.33%]) in LixiLan‐O‐AP, and versus iGlar (ETD: 16.59% [95% CI, 12.09% to 21.08%]) in LixiLan‐L‐CN. In LixiLan‐O‐AP, the proportions of patients achieving 70% or higher dTIR or 5% or higher dTIR improvement at EOT with iGlarLixi were 77.5% and 77.8%, respectively, higher than with iGlar (61.1% and 75.3%) or Lixi (47.0% and 53.0%). In LixiLan‐L‐CN, the proportions of patients achieving 70% or higher dTIR or 5% or higher dTIR improvement at EOT were 71.4% and 59.8% with iGlarLixi, greater than with iGlar (45.4% and 39.5%). More patients achieved the triple target with iGlarLixi compared with iGlar or Lixi. Conclusion: iGlarLixi achieved greater improvements in dTIR parameters versus iGlar or Lixi in insulin‐naïve and insulin‐experienced AP people with T2D. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Malignant tumors have been one of the major reasons for deaths worldwide. Timely and accurate diagnosis as well as effective intervention of tumors play an essential role in the survival of patients. Genomic instability is the important foundation and feature of cancer, hence, in vivo oncogene imaging based on novel probes provides a valuable tool for the diagnosis of cancer at early-stage. However, the in vivo oncogene imaging is confronted with great challenge, due to the extremely low copies of oncogene in tumor cells. By combining with various novel activatable probes, the molecular imaging technologies provide a feasible approach to visualize oncogene in situ, and realize accurate treatment of tumor. This review aims to declare the design of nanoprobes responded to tumor associated DNA or RNA, and summarize their applications in detection and bioimaging for tumors. Intangible cultural heritage (ICH) is the essence of excellent traditional culture and the treasure of human civilization. At present, major countries pay more and more attention to the study of ICH. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the spatial distribution characteristics of ICH and to understand the factors affecting the development of ICH. Systematically studying the spatial distribution patterns, influencing factors, differentiation characteristics, and formation mechanisms of ICH is essential for effectively promoting its protection and development, guiding the planning of cultural tourism, and implementing cultural power strategies. There are clear differences between municipal and county-level ICH in Xinjiang. The overall distribution trend shows a spatial aggregation structure with more ICH in the north and fewer in the south. ICH resources are concentrated mainly in Kashgar, Yili, Tacheng, Bazhou, and Urumqi, where the Urumqi-Turpan-Korla region is the high-density core area for all types of ICH. Meanwhile, the Yining and Kashgar areas have a large number of non-relics. Ethnic distributions, cultural environments, policy supports, and other social and cultural factors have greater impacts on the spatial distribution of ICH in Xinjiang, while natural geographical environment factors such as runoff water systems and average precipitation have less influence. Interaction studies revealed that the synergistic effects of natural, economic, and social and cultural factors had a more profound influence on the spatial distribution of ICH. Lastly, to promote sustainable development, suggestions were made to optimize the spatial layout, protection, and development of Xinjiang ICH. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Chiral nanostructures have immense potential for complete polarization control of light. Given the intrinsic 3D structure of circularly polarized light, nanoarchitectures with structural chirality in 3D space are usually required to achieve "full" chiroptical response. On the other hand, due to the lack of available active materials at optical wavelengths, examples of chiral photonic devices that can be tuned in an active manner remain rare. Here, based on the large Kerr nonlinearities of silicon, the nonlinear chiroptical response from a planar Si metasurface supporting high quality (Q)‐factor guided mode resonances (GMRs) at near‐infrared wavelengths, are numerically demonstrated. In the linear regime, the optical anisotropy of the C2‐symmetric structure associated with the observed GMRs leads to a pair of chiral resonance modes, enabling pronounced cross‐polarization transmission circular dichroism and a strong handedness‐dependent field enhancement effect. Owing to the nonlinear Kerr effect, such Si metasurfaces are seen to exhibit prominent chiral‐selective optical nonlinearity. Importantly, a pronounced co‐polarization transmission circular dichroism is observed, suggesting that the circularly polarized waves in the nonlinear regime possess asymmetric Jones matrices. Dielectric chiral metasurfaces with Kerr nonlinearities can be utilized to facilitate polarization‐state modulators with simple planar structures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

It is very appealing to develop cheap, highly sensitive and efficient metal ion fluorescence sensors as traditional instrument methods are inherently costly and time‐consuming. Carbon dots (CDs) are widely used for sensing metal ions, attributing to their merits of good biocompatibility, low toxicity, easy surface modification and excellent photostability. This article reviewed the research progress of CDs as metal ion sensors in recent years, and studied their modification methods and detection performances. Finally, the challenges and opportunities of CDs as metal ion sensors were also analyzed. Metacaspases (MCs) are cysteine proteases that are important for programmed cell death (PCD) in plants. In this study, we identified 89 MC genes in the genomes of four Gossypium species (Gossypium raimondii, Gossypium barbadense, Gossypium hirsutum, and Gossypium arboreum), and classified them as type-I or type-II genes. All of the type-I and type-II MC genes contain a sequence encoding the peptidase C14 domain. During developmentally regulated PCD, type-II MC genes may play an important role related to fiber elongation, while type-I genes may affect the thickening of the secondary wall. Additionally, 13 genes were observed to be differentially expressed between two cotton lines with differing fiber strengths, and four genes (GhMC02, GhMC04, GhMC07, and GhMC08) were predominantly expressed in cotton fibers at 5−30 days post-anthesis (DPA). During environmentally induced PCD, the expression levels of four genes were affected in the root, stem, and leaf tissues within 6 h of an abiotic stress treatment. In general, the MC gene family affects the development of cotton fibers, including fiber elongation and fiber thickening while four prominent fiber- expressed genes were identified. The effects of the abiotic stress and hormone treatments imply that the cotton MC gene family may be important for fiber development. The data presented herein may form the foundation for future investigations of the MC gene family in Gossypium species.

Microtubules (MTs) are of importance to fiber development. The Xklp2 (TPX2) proteins as a class of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs) play a key role in plant growth and development by regulating the dynamic changes of microtubules (MTs). However, the mechanism underlying this is unknown. The interactions between TPX2 proteins and tubulin protein, which are the main structural components, have not been studied in fiber development of upland cotton. Therefore, a genome-wide analysis of the TPX2 family was firstly performed in Gossypium hirsutum L. This study identified 41 GhTPX2 sequences in the assembled G. hirsutum genome by a series of bioinformatic methods. Generally, this gene family is phylogenetically grouped into six subfamilies, and 41 G. hirsutum TPX2 genes (GhTPX2s) are distributed across 21 chromosomes. A heatmap of the TPX2 gene family showed that homologous GhTPX2 genes, GhWDLA2/7 and GhWDLA4/9, have large differences in expression levels between two upland cotton recombinant inbred lines (69307 and 69362) that are different in fiber quality at 15 and 20 days post anthesis. The relative data indicate that these four genes are down-regulated under oryzalin, which causes microtubule depolymerization, as determined via qRT-PCR. A subcellular localization experiment suggested that GhWDLA2 and GhWDLA7 are localized to the microtubule cytoskeleton, and GhWDLA4 and GhWDLA9 are only localized to the nucleus. However, only GhWDLA7 between GhWDLA2 and GhWDLA7 interacted with GhTUA2 in the yeast two-hybrid assay. These results lay the foundation for further function study of the TPX2 gene family.

In this study, we synthetized a series of 5-aryl-4,5-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-a]thieno[2,3-e]pyridine derivatives containing tetrazole and other heterocycle substituents, i.e., triazole, methyltriazole, and triazolone. The forced swim test (FST) and tail suspension test (TST) were used to evaluate the antidepressant activity of the target compounds. The compound 5-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4,5-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-a]thieno[2,3-e]pyridine (4i) showed the highest antidepressant activity, with a reduced immobility time of 55.33% when compared with the control group. Using an open-field test, compound 4i was shown to not affect spontaneous activity of mice. The determination of in vivo 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) concentration showed that compound 4i may have an effect in the mouse brain. The biological activities of all synthetized compounds were verified by molecular docking studies. Compound 4i showed significant interactions with residues of the 5-HT1A receptor homology model.

Upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) is grown for its elite fiber. Understanding differential gene expression patterns during fiber development will help to identify genes associated with fiber quality. In this study, we used two recombinant inbred lines (RILs) differing in fiber quality derived from an intra-hirsutum population to explore expression profiling differences and identify genes associated with high-quality fiber or specific fiber-development stages using RNA sequencing. Overall, 72/27, 1137/1584, 437/393, 1019/184, and 2555/1479 differentially expressed genes were up-/down-regulated in an elite fiber line (L1) relative to a poor-quality fiber line (L2) at 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 days post-anthesis, respectively. Three-hundred sixty-three differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between two lines were colocalized in fiber strength (FS) quantitative trait loci (QTL). Short Time-series Expression Miner (STEM) analysis discriminated seven expression profiles; gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) annotation were performed to identify difference in function between genes unique to L1 and L2. Co-expression network analysis detected five modules highly associated with specific fiber-development stages, especially for high-quality fiber tissues. The hub genes in each module were identified by weighted gene co-expression network analysis. Hub genes encoding actin 1, Rho GTPase-activating protein with PAK-box, TPX2 protein, bHLH transcription factor, and leucine-rich repeat receptor-like protein kinase were identified. Correlation networks revealed considerable interaction among the hub genes, transcription factors, and other genes.

The design of high-performance anode materials is the key to improving the performance of lithium-ion batteries. Here, a new high-performance titanyl germanate anode, Rb4Li2TiOGe4O12 (RLTG), was investigated for lithium-ion storage properties for the first time. Thanks to the multi-electron reactions of Ti and Ge and the polyanion framework, RLTG exhibits a high discharge specific capacity of 786.2 mA h g−1 and decent capacity retention performance of 84%. In addition, RLTG shows a good rate capability in the range of 0.05–2.5 A g−1. Furthermore, the discharge/charge behaviors were explored in depth by a cyclic voltammetry test, galvanostatic intermittent titration technique, X-ray absorption near-edge spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, combined with first-principles calculations. The evaluation of pore characteristics in lacustrine shales is of significance for shale oil and gas exploration in terrestrial sedimentary basins. However, due to the complex depositional environments, there have been few reports on the quantitative evaluation of lacustrine pores. In this study, we carry out experiments, e.g., scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nitrogen adsorption, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and rock pyrolysis, on sixteen lacustrine shale core samples of the Late Cretaceous Nenjiang Formation (K2n1+2) in the Songliao Basin. At the same time, we bring in the fractal dimensions to quantitatively characterize the pores of shale samples in K2n1+2. The kerogen type of shales in the Nenjiang Formation is mainly type Ⅰ. The shales of K2n1+2 develop a large number of mineral intergranular pores and a small number of organic pores and mineral intragranular pores. The primary minerals of the samples are clay minerals and quartz. The total organic carbon (TOC) has a correlation with the pore physical parameters, whereas the content of minerals does not correlate significantly with pore development. The average pore fractal dimensions obtained from the analysis of nitrogen adsorption data are D1 = 2.5308 and D2 = 2.6557. There is a significant negative correlation between the fractal dimensions (D1 and D2) and the TOC content: the lower the fractal dimensions, the higher the TOC, and the more the free oil. In low maturity shales with higher TOC content, due to hydrocarbon generation, larger pores with a regular shape (small fractal parameters) can be produced, which can store more free oil. The shale reservoir evaluation of K2n1+2 in the Songliao Basin should be focused on shales with higher TOC and lower pore fractal parameters. Our work provides a reference for the shale oil evaluation of K2n1+2 in the Songliao Basin and complements studies on lacustrine pore characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A non-Darcy flow with moving boundary conditions in a low-permeability reservoir was solved using the homotopy analysis method (HAM), which was converted into a fixed-boundary mathematical model via similarity transformation. Approximate analytical solutions based on the HAM are guaranteed to be more accurate than exact analytical solutions, with relative errors between 0.0089% and 2.64%. When λ = 0, the pressure drop of the Darcy seepage model could be instantaneously transmitted to infinity. When λ > 0, the pressure drop curve of the non-Darcy seepage model exhibited the characteristics of tight support, which was clearly different from the Darcy seepage model's formation pressure distribution curve. According to the results of the HAM, a moving boundary is more influenced by threshold pressure gradients with a longer time. When the threshold pressure gradients were smaller, the moving boundaries move more quickly and are more sensitive to external influences. One-dimensional, low-permeability porous media with a non-Darcy flow with moving boundary conditions can be reduced to a Darcy seepage model if the threshold pressure gradient values tend to zero. We report the synthesis and biological evaluation of 131I‐labeled antihuman tumor‐derived immunoglobulin G (IgG) light chain monoclonal antibody (4E9) ([131I]I‐4E9) as a promising probe for tumor imaging. [131I]I‐4E9 was synthesized in radiochemical yield of 89.9 ± 4.7% with radiochemical purity of more than 99%. [131I]I‐4E9 showed high stability in normal saline and human serum. In cell uptake studies, [131I]I‐4E9 exhibited favorable binding affinity and high specificity in HeLa MR cells. In biodistribution studies, [131I]I‐4E9 showed high tumor uptake, high tumor/non‐tumor ratios, and specific binding in BALB/c nu/nu mice bearing human HeLa MR xenografts. Single‐photon emission computerized tomography (SPECT) imaging of [131I]I‐4E9 in the HeLa MR xenograft model demonstrated clear visualization of tumor after 48 h and confirmed specific binding in tumor. These findings suggest that [131I]I‐4E9 possesses favorable biological characteristics and warrants further investigation as a prospective probe for imaging and treatment of cancers. We investigated the texture formation of Sb2Te thin films for phase change memory applications. The Sb2Te thin films with different thicknesses were deposited on Si (100) wafers by the magnetron sputtering method. As-deposited Sb2Te thin films were annealed at various temperatures and times. The texture characterization was performed by using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). Experimental results show that the annealed Sb2Te thin films exhibit the 11 2 ¯ 0 and 10 1 ¯ 0 prismatic texture. The formation of prismatic texture is induced by the lattice strain, surface energy, and coarse grains, in which the lattice strain is the essential origin of prismatic preference. Electronic transport properties of Sb2Te thin films were monitored by a physical property measurement system (PPMS). It was found that the formation of prismatic texture promotes the increase of carrier mobility. The stability of the film–substrate interface was also assessed by calculating mismatch. The prismatic-preferred Sb2Te thin films exhibit higher mismatch with a silicon wafer, reducing the interface stability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Taking 736 counties in the Yellow River Basin of China as the research area, the comprehensive urbanization development level and ecosystem service capacity from 2000 to 2020 were measured. Combined with spatial autocorrelation, the spatial pattern evolution characteristics of the two systems in the Yellow River Basin were revealed. The spatio–temporal geographically weighted regression (GTWR) model was used to analyze the spatio–temporal heterogeneity of the impact of various elements of the system on urbanization and ecosystem service capacity. The results showed that (1) the urbanization level and ecosystem service capacity of the Yellow River Basin were on the rise but the urbanization level and ecosystem service capacity were low, while the spatial and temporal heterogeneity was significant. (2) The two systems are positively correlated in space, and the agglomeration characteristics are significant. The evolution trend of urbanization from an L–L agglomeration area to an H–H agglomeration area is occurring gradually. The spatial change in the ecosystem service agglomeration area is small, and the stability is strong. (3) The impact of ecosystem services on comprehensive urbanization is enhanced by time, and the spatial 'center–periphery' diffusion characteristics are significant. (4) The influence of urbanization on the comprehensive ecosystem service capacity is enhanced and shows the law of east–west differentiation in space.
