Artykuł prezentuje dwa głosy – reinterpretacje mitu o Ikarze. Wiersz Pasierba nawiązuje bezpośrednio do mitu, wiersz Wencla do obrazu Breughla, ale oba głosy spotykają się w przeświadczeniu, że ludzką kondycję przecina „niezagojona rana” niezaspokojonego pragnienia.
