A tanulmány Erdei Ferenc 1945 utáni munkásságának tér- és társadalom koncepcióját vizsgálja úgy, hogy az elmélet változásának főbb csomópontjait is nyomon követi. Az értelmezés középpontjában az 1945-ös közigazgatási reformterv és az életművet záró Város és vidéke című szociográfia áll. Az elemzés azt vizsgálja, hogy Erdeinek a korábbi közigazgatás radikális átalakítását célzó felfogása milyen sajátos jegyekkel rendelkezik, és miképp kapcsolódik az alföldi tanyás mezővárosok modelljén alapuló korábbi országrendezési tervéhez. Másfelől azt értelmezi, hogy Erdei koncepciója milyen tér- és társadalomszerkezeti változásokat kíván elérni. A tanulmány kitér arra, hogy a létező szocializmus felülről végrehajtott reformjai milyen mozgásteret kínáltak a város és vidékének organikus kapcsolatát megvalósítani szándékozó elképzelés számára. A tanulmány az alföldi tanyás mezővárosi modell bemutatása után az 1945-ös közigazgatási reformtervet vizsgálja, majd részletesebben foglalkozik ezen elképzelés társadalmi és politikai korlátaival. Emellett a Város és vidéke tér- és társadalomszerkezeti koncepcióját taglalja, s ennek során kitér az elképzelés társadalmi kontextusára is. Az írás Erdei és Bibó 1945-ös közigazgatási reformtervének kritikáját adja. Az elemzés amellett érvel, hogy az 1945-ös reformelképzelés az egész közigazgatás átalakításának sikerét az alföldi tanyás mezővárosi modellhez köti, és ekképpen egy helyi viszonyok között létrejövő társadalomfejlődést kíván ráerőltetni az összes többi, ettől a modelltől jelentősen különböző területre. A tanulmány alapvető előrelépést lát Erdei Város és vidéke című munkájában. A paraszti tér- és társadalomszerkezetből építkező társadalmi reform már nem kizárólagosan az alföldi tanyás mezővárosok modelljén alapul, hanem minden esetben a lokális viszonyokból indul ki. Az írás ezen tér- és társadalomszerkezeti modell erényeit hangsúlyozza, utalva a térszociológiai irodalom belátásaira is.

This paper interprets the changing traits of religiosity in modern and postmodern societies from the perspective of spatial turn. The analysis examines the impact of social experience and action on spatial structure and how changes in spatial structure have influenced individual actions and experiences over the past decade, with a specific emphasis on the relationship to transcendence. The analysis explores the impact of the interaction of social spaces and actions on religiosity, in order to provide new insights into the interpretation of religious phenomena through a novel approach to the study of religion. It focuses on the consequences of individualisation, hybridisation, and globalisation, and analyses how these transformations are shaping contemporary religiosity in the global north. The paper argues that spatial structural changes are reinforcing more individualised forms of religiosity, often separated from traditional institutionalised religiosity. This gives greater scope to subject-organised 'patchwork religiosity', which inevitably reinforces a new kind of religious syncretism. This study explores the role of social spaces in the religious worldview in the Central and Eastern European region through a comprehensive study of values spanning nearly three decades. The analysis focuses on the differences between the values of religious and non-religious people in different social spaces during this period. Drawing on the insights of the spatial turn, the study provides a new way of understanding the impact of social spaces on the emergence of religious values. For the first time, the analysis attempts to verify the influence of social spaces on the emergence of specific religious values using a representative database. The research on the four waves of EVS interprets the values of the religious and non-religious along the lines of their relationship to norm violations. The analysis points out that religious worldview does not appear equally in different spaces of society. The research proved in a novel way that in the social space of production and administration, in the systematic organization of society, religious people do not have significantly different values in this region. On the other hand, the values of the religious, which are different from those of the non-religious, are expressed in values that can be linked to the social space of lifeworld. All these findings can give a new direction to quantitative and qualitative research on religion, which now includes aspects of spatiality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article explores the features of religiousness as it is supported by governmental policies in Hungary. The research interprets the values held by social actors in terms of their relationship to violations of norms that are sanctioned and those that are not sanctioned by the state. The analyses of our representative sample revealed a type of secularised religiousness in more than one dimension. The value orientations of religious people in Hungary appear to be aligned with secular society. The main trend seems to be that the moral judgements of religious people do not differ from those of the people who consider themselves not religious or atheist. Religious people in Hungary no longer find guidance in their religious tradition – which is regarded as obsolete in today's secularised public discourse – but are oriented by the values of the secularised world, inevitably drifting away from their Christian roots. Differences between religious and not religious people appear only in certain position statements relating to homosexuals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
