ABSTRAK Penelitian mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory (TeFa) dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran fisika. Pembelajaran fisika di sekolah masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang cenderung berpusat pada guru. Pengelolaan KIT di sekolah yang kurang optimal juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory ini, diharapkan pembelajaran fisika dapat lebih melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam pembelajaran, juga dapat menjadi alternatif solusi untuk masalah rendahnya optimalisasi KIT yang ada di sekolah. Sehingga pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran fisika, juga dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran fisika yang meliputi hasil belajar meningkat baik pada Domain proses, Domain kreativitas dan Domain sikap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-DKV sebanyak 31 siswa sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan X-DPIB sebagai kelas Kontrol sebanyak 30 siswa di salah satu SMK Negeri 1 Buer di kabupaten Sumbawa semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 . Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada domain pengetahuan/knowledge domain diketahui dengan menghitung skor pretes dan postes. Perolehan rata-rata N-gain Score untuk pengetahuan adalah sebesar 64,36 % dengan kategori Cukup Efektif. Sedangkan profil hasil belajar siswa pada domain proses sains/process of science domain dengan rata-rata IPK sebesar 77,26 % dengan kategori terampil, profil hasil belajar pada domain kreativitas/creativity domain dengan rata-rata IPK sebesar 81,44 % dengan kategori terampil, dan profil hasil belajar pada domain sikap/attitudinal domain dengan rata-rata IPK sebesar 81,67 % dengan kategori baik.. ABSTRACT The research on the application of the Teaching Factory (TeFa) learning model in physics learning to improve student learning outcomes is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in physics subjects.Physics learning in schools still uses conventional methods that tend to be teacher-centered. The management of KIT in schools that is less than optimal is also one of the factors behind this research. Through the application of the Teaching Factory learning model, it is hoped that physics learning can involve students more actively in learning, and can also be an alternative solution to the problem of the low optimization of KIT in schools. So that in the end it can improve student learning outcomes in physics lessons, can also achieve physics learning goals which include increased learning outcomes both in the process domain, creativity domain and attitude domain. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.The subjects of this study were 31 students in class X-DKV as Experiment class and X-DPIB as control class as many as 30 students at one Buer State Vocational School in Sumbawa district in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The increase in student learning outcomes in the knowledge domain is known by calculating the pretest and posttest scores. The average N-gain score for knowledge is 64.36% with the category of Quite Effective. While the profile of student learning outcomes in the domain of the process of science / process of science domain with an average GPA of 77.26% in the skilled category, the profile of learning outcomes in the domain of creativity / creativity domain with an average GPA of 81.44% in the skilled category , and the profile of learning outcomes in the attitude domain/attitudinal domain with an average GPA of 81.67 % with a good category. Cholesterol oxidase, a bio-catalyst that can catabolize cholesterol, has proven applications in medicine. Here, a support material was used to enhance the characteristics of the enzyme. Magnetite (Fe3O4) is widely used as an enzyme support; however, the interaction between the enzyme and the support should be capped with another material, such as chitosan biopolymer-based material. In this study, chitosan-magnetite materials were synthesized by mixing both compounds and activating with glutaraldehyde. The materials were then characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy. The enzyme kinetic parameters were studied by following the cholesterol oxidation reaction using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and comparing the results between the free and the immobilized enzyme. The substrate concentration was 2.5 mg/mL. The effect of enzyme concentration was tested using different concentrations of enzyme (0.5, 1, and 2 mg/mL) to determine the best operating conditions. The best conditions for the oxidation reaction were immobilized enzyme at a 2 mg/mL concentration. Enzyme immobilization significantly decreased the optimum substrate concentration to 0.1 mg/mL.

Purification water has several methods; one of them is the plasma generation. The circuit used to generate plasma is Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS), where its use uses the resonance circuit concept. The main category to generate plasma glow discharge is the circuit should generate high voltage output with a current range from 10-6 A to 1 A. In this study, when ZVS connected to the flyback converter with an input voltage of 12 V, the output values of 11 kV and 11 μA were obtained. In comparison, if ZVS was not connected to the flyback converter, the circuit is less stable, and the output value is weak because the output values only reach 8.97 kV and 8.97 μA. For maximum output, the ZVS circuit should be connected to the converter circuit due to the flyback converter can repair and strengthen the voltage. The flyback converter circuit is affected by the diode and capacitance effects. The effect of using capacitors in a flyback converter circuit is when the capacitance is too low, the ripple will form. Then when capacitance reaches a specific value, the ripple will decrease, and the voltage graph will approach a straight line. Hence the use of components in the ZVS and the flyback converter need to be considered because it affects how the release of plasma glow discharge will form.

One dimensional Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanostructures in the forms of nanowire, nanorod, nanotube have been attracting scientific and technology interests in the last few years. This current study investigated the effects of chemical bath deposition (CBD) synthesis parameters i.e. seeding solution concentration and growing time on the nanostructural characteristics of ZnO nanorods and considering their potential application for transparent heater. Seed solutions were prepared by dissolving 1:1 equimolar zinc nitrate tetrahydrate and hexamethylenetetraamine in water at 0°C for 1 hour. Upon the synthesis, the seeding solution concentration was varied from 0.005, 0.025, 0.05 M. The formation of thin films containing ZnO nanoseeds was carried out by spin coating the precursors on the conducting indium tin oxide (ITO) glass substrates, followed with annealing at 200oC for 5 minutes then further growing the ZnO nanorods at 90oC for 3 hours. Another variation in this work was also carried out by selecting a different route upon CBD process, i.e. with a fixed 0.05 M seeding solution prepared from the same equimolar zinc nitrate tetrahydrate and hexamethylenetetraamine in water at 25oC for 1 hour, followed with the same annealing stage but continued by variation in the growing stage at 90oC for different times (3, 4 and 5 hours). ZnO nanorods were characterized using x-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy and ultraviolet-visual spectroscopy. The results of these investigations demonstrated that with the increase in reaction time from 3 to 5 hours, the band gap energy, Eg of the nanorods decreased from 3.63 to 3.13 eV, a consequence of the increase in their diameter and crystallite size from 325 to 583 nm and 22.68 to 34.28 nm, respectively. The desired coverage of ZnO nanorods for transparent heater applications was obtained with a 0.05 M seeding solution and 5-hour reaction time.

This study reports a novel strategy for minimizing torque ripple in a radial flux inset permanent magnet (RFIPM) generator by using a geometric modification of the magnet poles. We simulate the design of three different types of edge-rounded magnet (ERM) poles using finite element method magnetics (FEMM) software for a 16 poles and 24 slots RFIPM generator. We found that the edge-rounding of magnet poles significantly lowered the torque ripple of the generator with a reduction of about 74% (torque ripple of 7.76%). In addition, the modified RFIPM generator exhibited enhanced flux density uniformity in the air-gap of the generator (up to ~ 48.8%), leading to a smoother line of flux density.

Among semiconductors, zinc oxide (ZnO) has received great attention due to its wide band-gap and high electron mobility, resulting in various strategic applications. Controlling the physical properties of ZnO is therefore a critical issue in the fabrication of related electronic and optical devices. In this study, ZnO nanorods layers were grown on an ITO glass substrate via chemical bath deposition at low temperature. Prior to the growing process, the layers were deposited using a spin-coating technique. The seeding solution was made by dissolving zinc nitrate tetrahydrate and hexamethylene tetraamine in cold water (0oC) for an hour using a cooler bath. The as-synthesized ZnOs were further subjected to different post-hydrothermal treatment series at a temperature of 150oC for three hours at atmospheric pressure and at 100°C for one hour under one bar of nitrogen gas (N2) pressure. The characterization was performed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The SEM results showed that the ZnO nanorods were grown as a vertically aligned hexagonal structure, while the XRD patterns showed a high intensity at the (002) plane. On the basis of investigation, it was found that under post-hydrothermal treatment at 150oC for three hours with atmospheric pressure, the synthesis procedure resulted in nanostructures in the form of ZnO rods. Meanwhile, post-hydrothermal treatment at 100°C for one hour under one bar of nitrogen gas (N2) produced ZnO rods and tubes. In general, the post-hydrothermal process provided a high degree of crystallinity. The optimum ZnO layer was obtained after post-hydrothermal treatment at 150oC for three hours at atmospheric pressure, with a crystallite size and band-gap energy of ~18 nm and 3.20 eV, respectively.

Transparent conducting oxide (TCO) glasses play an important role in various technology, including dye sensitized solar cells. One of the most commonly used glass is indium tin oxide (ITO) glass, which is expensive. Therefore, the main purpose of this research was to determine if ITO glass can be replaced with fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass, which is easier and more economic to manufacture. For this purpose, a tin chloride dehydrate (SnCl2.2H2O) precursor was doped with ammonium fluoride (NH4F) using a sol-gel method and spray pyrolysis technique to investigate the fabrication process for conductive glass. NH4F was doped at a ratio of 2 wt% in the SnCl2.2H2O precursor at varying deposition times (10, 20, and 30 minutes) and substrate temperatures (250, 300, and 350°C). The results revealed that longer deposition times created thicker glass layers with reduced electrical resistivity. The highest optical transmittance was 75.5% and the lowest resistivity was 3.32´10-5 ?.cm, obtained from FTO glass subjected to a 20-minute deposition time at deposition temperature of 300oC.

The authors report the surface morphology, optical, electrical, thermal and humidity impacts, and electromagnetic interference properties of fluorine-doped tin oxide (SnO2:F or "FTO") thin films on a flexible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate fabricated by a pilot-scale electron cyclotron resonance-metal organic chemical vapor deposition (PS ECR-MOCVD). The characteristics of large area FTO thin films were compared with a commercially available transparent conductive electrode made of tin-doped indium oxide (ITO), prepared with an identical film and PET thickness of 125 nm and 188 μm, respectively. The results revealed that the as-prepared FTO thin films exhibited comparable performances with the incumbent ITO films, including a high optical transmittance of 97% (substrate-subtracted), low electrical resistivity of about 5 × 10-3 Ω cm, improved electrical and optical performances due to the external thermal and humidity impact, and an excellent shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic interference of nearly 2.3 dB. These excellent performances of the FTO thin films were strongly attributed to the design of the PS ECR-MOCVD, which enabled a uniform plasma environment resulting from a proper mixture of electromagnetic profiles and microwave power.
