Objectives: Studies have shown that Momordin Ic (MI) has an antitumor effect on liver cancer, gastric cancer, and colorectal cancer. However, its effect on osteosarcoma has not yet been reported. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of MI on several malignant phenotypes of osteosarcoma cells. Methods: CCK-8 and EdU were used to evaluate the effect of MI on the proliferation of osteosarcoma cells. Apoptosis and cell cycle were observed by flow cytometry. Monodansycadaverine (MDC) staining was used to detect autophagy. Western blot was used to evaluate apoptosis, cell cycle, autophagy, and ferroptosis. Evaluation of osteosarcoma cell migration ability by wound healing assay. Colony formation assay was used to test the ability of cloning. Transwell invasion assay was used to detect the invasion level of osteosarcoma cells. Results: The results showed that MI significantly inhibited the proliferative activity of osteosarcoma cells. Z-VAD-FMK, 3-MA, and Fer-1 were administered separately, and the results showed that except for Fer-1, the other two inhibitors could reverse cell activity to different degrees. Flow cytometry showed that MI induced G0/1 cell cycle arrest and increased apoptosis. MDC showed that MI induced autophagy in osteosarcoma cells. Western blot showed that autophagy and apoptosis proteins were significantly higher in MI group. Transwell invasion assay, wound healing assay, and colony formation assay confirmed that MI could inhibit the invasion, migration, and cloning ability of osteosarcoma cells. Conclusion: In conclusion, our study confirmed that MI may exert antitumor effects by inducing apoptosis and autophagy in osteosarcoma cells. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The activities of primary users affect the channel quality in Cognitive Radio networks. And the available spectrum holes show different characteristics which vary over time. In this paper, we assume that primary users arrive at each channel with Poisson Point Process (P.P.P.) and occupy the channel for a random duration according to exponential distribution. We map a cognitive radio channel to a one dimension Poisson Boolean Model, and consider the characteristic of spectrum holes under this model. We introduce the connectivity of spectrum holes to measure the time duration that secondary users can occupy licensed channels before getting interrupted. Then we study the waiting time of secondary users for spectrum holes by percolation theory, and obtain the upper bound on mean duration that a secondary user waits for spectrum holes in multi-channel cognitive radio networks. Apperceiving to the environment is the basic attribute of Agent. Different environment requires Agent to adopt different perception methods. Message-publishing/subscribing system can offer reliable asynchronous communication between agents of loose coupling. In this paper, proceeding from practical angle, we, on the basis of original Agent conceptual model regard (Java Message Service) JMS publishing/subscribing system as idiographic environment that Agent apperceives, and construct a model of the perception body which is suitable for asynchronism cooperation of Agents. Because of the Agent character of event driven and the advantage of event communication mode, the model framework adopts event communication mode, takes event process as the core and includes event obtain module, event filter module and event process module. It also advances a reticulate event composition mechanism to solve the problem of the synthesis of compound events.
