This study deepens and further concretizes an analysis conducted in a prior study highlighting Romania's goals and objectives in comparison with the sustainable development principles established through the adoption of the European Green Deal (EGD) at the European Union (EU) level. The second section of this paper presents this study's methodology, aiming to highlight the quantification of the compatibility of the targets of Romania's pertinent strategies with the EGD after evoking the principles of sustainable development (SD) and—in this context—the importance of achieving the objectives set by the EGD. The specific problems of the urban public transport system in the literature of the field are widely reflected; the main targets are to increase the efficiency, the quality of service and to reduce their impact on the environment. The electric driven transport is an alternative that may operate according to these targets. This article inscribes in the actual concerns dedicated to optimize the tram parks with which the urban public transport companies (UPTC) operate, using an optimizing criterion, which leads to an efficient and quality transport service. In this article, after evoking the importance of this concern, the mathematical model of optimization is elaborated in two variants (general and simplified). The proposed analysing model is for an applied UPTC that operates a mixed system (trams + buses), in real level of reliability conditions of trams.

The energy efficiency of a system and the performance level of its equipment and installations are the two key elements based on which the investment decision in its modernization is made. They are also very important for setting up optimal operation strategies. The energy audit is a well-known and worldwide recognized tool for calculating energy performance indicators and developing improvement measures. This paper is a synthesis of the energy audit results performed for a district heating network that uses geothermal energy as its primary source of energy. The location of the heating system is inside a university campus. The first part explains the necessity of a comprehensive study on district heating networks and introduces the defining elements that characterize the analyzed equipment and installations. The complex energy balance methodology that has been developed and applied to this district heating system is presented in the second part of the paper. Next, the methodology for collecting the input data for the energy and mass balance is explained. In the final part, the numerical values of the performance indicators and the technical measures that must be applied to improve energy efficiency are shown, and conclusions are drawn. Knowledge of energy performance indicators is essential to substantiate investment decisions in energy facilities. Energy audit is the procedure by which energy performance indicators can be assessed and identified measures to improve them. Considering the share and the potential to improve the efficiency of cogeneration sources for the production of thermal and electrical energy, the determination of their performance indicators based on energy audits is essential for achieving the goals of reducing energy consumption. This paper is a synthesis of the results obtained in performing the energy audit of a cogeneration source serving an industrial consumer. After describing the general framework, the justification of the concern and the presentation of the defining elements of characterization of the analyzed installation, the second part of the paper refers to the specificities of the applied complex energy balance model. Next, reference is made to the methodology for obtaining input quantities in energy balance models and mass balance sheets. The final part of the paper presents the results obtained, the values of the performance indicators, the measures for improving the energy efficiency and the general conclusions of the analysis. A current modeling framework for disturbance in manufacturing systems (MS) is given by concepts like discrete-event systems, stochastic fluid models and infinitesimal disturbance analysis. The goal of modeling is to achieve control and structural and functional optimization of MS. Objective functions of these optimization models are focused on quantities which reflect the level of reliability, the level of manufactured products, the quality of products or the impact on the environment of MS with disturbances. These models do not allow a dynamic evaluation of consequences of the disturbances which appears in the operation of MS machines and also do not allow an evaluation of the evolution in time of disturbance consequence indicators. Disturbances in technological lines of MS represent local bottlenecks of production with severe economic consequences in what regards production time losses. Good estimation of disturbances dynamics can be very helpful to both technological line designers, who can optimize their projects and production managers who can minimize their losses. Our model allows a dynamic evaluation of consequences of some disturbance of machine operation in MS, using indicators based on time, energy and costs. This paper is dedicated to specific reliability evaluation prediction of an urban transport systems using electrically driven trams (UTSUEDT). The first part refers to topicality, justifying the need UTSUEDT treatment as a result of interconnection of three subsystems. The second part details the application of the concept model parametric UTSUEDT reliability. UTSUEDT states are detailed in part three of the paper, detailing the significance of six states and express the probability of state and transition. This paper contains references to reliability forecasting modeling of the three subsystems of the structure of UTSUEDT Company "Oradea Local Transport" (OTL). The paper is structured in five parts. The first part is a brief presentation of the structure and the functioning of the urban transport systems using electrically driven trams (EUTS), based on which, the equivalent reliability diagrams of these systems are presented. Further on, based on the analysis of operational reliability, one can identify and there are defined the time characteristics and the transport capacity of EUTS. In the third part there are defined and analytically determined the safety and the availability of EUTS. The paper also contains results of a comprehensive study of case on EUTS from Oradea, results on which one can calculate, in the end, the availability indicators of the system. In this paper we will present the utilization of neuro - fuzzy models as prediction of some events, more exactly, realizing of some applications viewing the time intervals prediction in which incidents can appear in an electrical energy distribution system. It was realized the duration analyzes between two incidents, with the aim to estimate the frequency of the incidences in the future.
