Objective: Physiological and/or psychological problems that affect the quality of life of the patients occur depending on the diagnosis and treatment of hematological malignancies. Cancer treatment causes sexual problems such as infertility, vaginal dryness, and erectile dysfunction in the patients. Erectile dysfunction and loss of sexual desire are the most common sexual problems of men, while dyspareunia and loss of sexual desire are the most common sexual problems of women. This descriptive study was carried out to evaluate sexual problems and affecting factors in the patients with hematological cancer. Methods: Between July 1, 2011, and July 31, 2011, 45 sexually active patients who volunteered to participate in the study and whose written consents were obtained were included in the study. The data of the study were collected using the descriptive characteristics form prepared by the researchers based on the relevant literature and the Arizona Sexual Experiences Scale (ASEX). The scale scores range from 5 to 30 and a score of >11 above indicates sexual dysfunction. Results: Sexual dysfunction was observed in 62.2% of the patients. About 80.0% of women and 57.1% of men had sexual dysfunction. Sexual dysfunction was observed to be highest between the ages of 52–71 (81.2%) years. The mean total ASEX score was 15.90 ± 4.25 in women and 13.34 ± 5.37 in men. The ability to reach orgasm subscale score was found to differ by gender in the ASEX scale (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The prevalence of sexual dysfunction is high in the patients with hematological malignancies. It is recommended to evaluate these patients in terms of the presence of sexual dysfunction, as in the patients with other chronic diseases.

Background: Electromagnetic waves are one of the factors that negatively affect reproductive health. Increasing knowledge and awareness on this issue is important for the protection and maintenance of health. Objective or Aims: The study was conducted to evaluate the knowledge of students about the effect of electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure on reproductive health. Methods: The descriptive study was conducted on 143 students who had taken the women's health and diseases course. The "Survey Form" prepared by the researchers in line with the literature was used to collect the data. Results: Students' age, gender, structure, father's education and occupation, and family income affect the level of knowledge about the effects of electromagnetic fields on reproductive health (p<0.05). Background: Pregnancy is a natural process and is a special period in women's life. Also, the gestation period is a special process that needs to be sensitive to multifactorial risk factors. In nursing education, the importance of professional risks in various courses is explained. In this way, an important step will be taken to prevent risks that may arise from reproductive health arising from the working environment. Objective or Aims: The study aims to determine nursing students' views regarding the effect of work environment on the health of pregnant nurses. Methodology: A descriptive study design was used. The study sample consisted of 143 third and fourth year nursing students studying in a state university in the 2017-2018 academic year. Data were collected using a "Questionnaire Form" prepared in accordance with the literature. Averages and percentages were used in data analysis. Results: The mean age of the students was 21.31 ± 1.17 years and 67.1% of them were female. According to the students, the risks in the pregnant nurses' work environment arose from the intensity of radioactivity (74.1%), standing for long periods of time (68.5%), exposure to teratogenic drugs (65.7%). Students viewed health problems such as infectious diseases (96.5%) and depression (83.2%) to be related to the work environment of pregnant nurses. Background: Concept of gender effects the society and must be put into account by the health caregivers. Aim: This study was performed in order to examine the percetions of nursery students about concept of gender Methods: This descriptive study was carried with last year students who enrolled in faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Program during 2017-2018 academic year. Universe of this study was last year nursing studens and sample was consisted of 63 students who volunteered to participate in to this study. Results: The mean age of the students was 21.63 ± 0.86 and 39.7% were male. Mean age of the nursing students was calculated as 21.63±0.86 years and 60.3% of them were females. %). Most of the students report (96.8%) that being a woman is very hard and women are ussually responsible from various things in home. One of the most important responsibilities of women is to care for her children ( 95.2%). If the expectations from women decreases in the society the women's life will be easier according to nursing students (65.1%). Conclusion:Students have various perceptions related to women. The economic distress and social expectations arising from the political and financial problems in the society and the concern of securing the future of the family and children have great impact on the the decisions of families. It is necessary to provide a nursing education that includes sufficient theoretical and practical education in order to respond to the health problems and needs of the society and to train nurses who are open to learning and are aware of their social responsibility. During their nursing education, students may face various interpersonal and environmental stressors that affect their learning and performance. Students experience different levels of anxiety and stress during their nursing education. Nursing students' fear of failing exams and problems caused by the professor, team conflicts in the clinical environment, difficulties experienced during patient care, pain and suffering of patients, lack of knowledge, inability to cope in emergency situations, the attitude of clinical staff to the student, theoretical training in the clinic Problems such as incompatibility are cited as a source of stress. Students can give physiological, emotional and behavioral reactions due to the stress they experience. Stress in the nursing education process can negatively affect students' learning and performance. Individuals use different methods of coping with stress, depending on their individual characteristics. Effective use of methods of coping with stress contributes to the successful coping of stressful situations that individuals encounter in their life. This review was conducted in order to draw attention to the stress experienced by students during their nursing education and the approaches to control this stress.

Amaç: Bu çalışmada diyabetli bireylerde aile desteği ile yaşam kalitesi arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırmanın evrenini, Balıkesir Devlet Hastanesi Endokrinoloji Kliniği’nde tedavi gören bireyler; araştırmanın örneklemini ise araştırmaya dahil edilme kriterlerine uyan ve araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan 260 diyabetli birey oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama formları olarak; Anket Formu, Hensarling’in Aile desteği ölçeği, Diyabete Özgü Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Yaşam Kalitesinin alt boyutu olan aile durumu puanı ile Hensarling’in Diyabet Aile Destek Ölçeği toplam puanı ve alt boyut puanlarıyla arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki vardır. Aile durumu puanı arttıkça Hensarling’ in Diyabet Aile Destek Ölçeği toplam puanı da artmaktadır. Diğer alt boyut puanlar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki bulunmamaktadır. Sonuç: Diyabetli bireylerin Yaşam Kalitesi alt boyut puanı olan aile durumu puanı arttıkça Aile Desteği Ölçeği toplam puanı ve alt boyut puanları artmaktadır.
