Las metodologías activas surgen con el objetivo de mejorar la implicación, motivación y aprendizaje del alumnado. Entre ellas encontramos el aprendizaje basado en juegos y, en concreto, los serious games, que son aquellos juegos creados con objetivos de aprendizaje predefinidos. A través de ellos el alumnado puede trabajar contenidos concretos de manera significativa, por el enorme atractivo que generan los juegos, a la vez que desarrollan las funciones ejecutivas y soft skills, fundamentales para su futura profesión. En el presente trabajo se describe un serious game analógico denominado ¡Piensa y Pasa!, desarrollado en el máster de profesorado (especialidad de Educación Física), con el objetivo de dar a conocer al alumnado estrategias de intervención docente. El juego se complementó con una fase previa de reflexión y otra posterior de aplicación, que favorecieron la asimilación e implementación de los contenidos aprendidos en el periodo de prácticas que incluye el máster de profesorado. Las valoraciones que el alumnado compartió de forma anónima a través de Google Drive, junto con la observación directa realizada por el docente en la fase de aplicación, evidencian la idoneidad del serious game, y el planteamiento llevado a cabo, en el contexto universitario. Abstract. Active methodologies arise with the goal of improving implication, motivation and learning of the students. Among them, we find game-based learning, specifically, serious games, which are those games created with predefined leaning objectives. Through them students can work on specific contents in a significant way, due to the great interest generated by games, as the same time as they develop the executive functions and soft skills that are fundamental for their future career. In the following paper, we describe an analogic serious game named ¡Piensa y Pasa! (Think and Pass!), developed in the Teaching MA (Physical Education specialisation), with the goal of teaching strategies of teacher intervention to the students. The game was complemented with a previous phase of reflexion and one later phase of application, which favoured its assimilation and implementation of the contents learned during the MA’s training. The students’ feedback which was given anonymously through Google Drive, along with direct observation made by the professor during the application phase, prove the suitability of the serious game, as well as the approach taken in this university context.

Entre los diversos retos que los docentes deben afrontar diario, está el transformar a un estudiante, en general, pasivo y poco involucrado en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, en una persona activa y creativa en su formación. En este contexto, la gamificación adquiere gran incidencia en la motivación y el compromiso del alumnado. Sin embargo, en muchas ocasiones lo que se presenta como gamificación no lo es, lo cual genera una gran confusión entre los docentes e, incluso, rechazo e incredulidad sobre su potencial. Por tanto, en este estudio se plantea una definición acorde con los postulados que los principales referentes en este ámbito han señalado durante la última década a fin de delimitar mejor lo que es gamificar, y no. Por último, se describe una propuesta de gamificación desarrollada en el contexto universitario, con la que se evidencia la viabilidad de ser fiel a los principios que deben definir un proyecto de gamificación, así como su idoneidad. De hecho, no solo se alcanzaron los objetivos previstos, sino que, además, el alumnado mostró una gran motivación e implicación en la propuesta, al valorarla en forma muy positiva.

Ante la falta de motivación del alumnado universitario, se hacen necesarias metodologías activas que les brinden un rol protagonista dentro del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Dentro de ellas encontramos el aprendizaje basado en juegos, destacando el enorme auge en los últimos años de los escape rooms en los procesos formativos. En este artículo se pretende analizar lo que este tipo de planteamientos puede generar en el contexto universitario, a través de las percepciones y valoraciones del alumnado del máster de profesorado, tras participar en un escape room digital basado en la película Matrix. La metodología utilizada fue mixta, utilizando la escala GAMEX para obtener datos cuantitativos sobre cada una de las dimensiones que esta mide, relacionadas con la participación en experiencias gamificadas. Esta información se complementó con un cuestionario con una única pregunta abierta para que pudieran compartir sus opiniones y experiencias, haciendo un procesamiento cualitativo de dicha información. Los resultados muestran valores muy positivos en el disfrute/diversión, el grado de absorción, el pensamiento creativo y dominio y la activación del alumnado. Además, el planteamiento potenció la gestión emocional, fundamental en los futuros docentes, pues también aparecen sentimientos como la frustración o la molestia. El hecho de vivir estas experiencias en primera persona permite a los estudiantes conocer su potencial y dificultades de cara a poder aplicarlas en un futuro en las aulas. Abstract. When facing the lack of motivation of university students, it is necessary to use active methodologies which will provide the students with an active role. Among them, we find game-based learning, we highlight the huge peak in the last few years of escape rooms among the formative processes. In this article, we analyse what can be generated in the university context with this type of approach, through the perceptions and reviews of the student body from the MA in Teaching after they take part in a digital escape room based on the movie Matrix. The employed methodology is a mixed one, using the GAMEX scale to obtain quantitative data about every single one of the dimensions measured by the scale that are relates to the participation in gamified experiences. This information was complemented with an open-question based questionnaire so the students could share their opinions and experiences, making use of qualitative way of processing this information. The results show very positive values in the enjoyment/fun, grade of absorption, creative thinking and dominion and the student body’s activation. Furthermore, this approach boosted emotional management, something fundamental in future teachers since they also feel frustration or annoyance. The fact they lived this experience directly allows the students to know their potential and their difficulties so they can apply them in the future.

Active commuting to and/or from school (ACS) is an opportunity to increase daily physical activity (PA) levels in young people. Mobile-device interventions focused on promoting the practice of health-related PA can be more cost-effective than traditional interventions in this population. Objective: To analyze the adolescents’ opinion of the mobile application (app) Mystic School, which was designed to promote ACS in Spanish adolescents. Methods: A total of 44 students (14–15 years old) from Granada and Jaén participated in the test of the Mystic School app during two phases: phase 1 (n = 10) for 2 weeks and phase 2 (n = 34) for 1 month. Each phase included an app presentation, a follow-up, and focus group sessions. The qualitative analysis was carried out through NVivo software. Results: In phase 1, adolescents reported improvements in the design and functioning, such as the avatar movement, virtual steps utilities, and multiplayer function. These suggestions were included in phase 2. After phase 2, adolescents reported that it is important to add the possibility of playing without an Internet connection to the game, to include more competitive options, prizes, and to increase the difficulty of the levels. In both phases, problems with the step number counting remained. Conclusion: The Mystic School app can be a useful tool for the physical education teacher to integrate the content from this curriculum related to the promotion of PA, such as ACS.

Abstract Background The lack of physical activity and increasing time spent in sedentary behaviours during childhood place importance on developing low cost, easy-toimplement school-based interventions to increase physical activity among children. The PREVIENE Project will evaluate the effectiveness of five innovative, simple, and feasible interventions (active commuting to/from school, active Physical Education lessons, active school recess, sleep health promotion, and an integrated program incorporating all 4 interventions) to improve physical activity, fitness, anthropometry, sleep health, academic achievement, and health-related quality of life in primary school children. Methods A total of 300 children (grade 3; 8-9 years of age) from six schools in Granada (Spain) will be enrolled in one of the 8-week interventions (one intervention per school; 50 children per school) or a control group (no intervention school; 50 children). Outcomes will include physical activity (measured by accelerometry), physical fitness (assessed using the ALPHA fitness battery), and anthropometry (height, weight and waist circumference). Furthermore, they will include sleep health (measured by accelerometers, a sleep diary, and sleep health questionnaires), academic achievement (grades from the official school’s records), and health-related quality of life (child and parental questionnaires). To assess the effectiveness of the different interventions on objectively measured PA and the other outcomes, the generalized linear model will be used. Discussion The PREVIENE Project will provide the information about the effectiveness and implementation of different school-based interventions for physical activity promotion in primary school children.

La metodologías activas surgen para promover un rol protagonista y activo por parte de los estudiantes, incidiendo en el aprendizaje y compromiso con su formación. Además, en este contexto, es fundamental enfocar el proceso formativo en educación superior al desarrollo de competencias transferibles a la futura labor profesional, como puede ser la digital. Debido a la significatividad y atractivo que despiertan los juegos en los jóvenes actuales, cabe destacar el aprendizaje basado en juegos, donde se ubican propuestas como los breakouts y los escape rooms, actividades que han tenido un enorme auge en los últimos años. En este artículo se analiza el impacto de un doble breakout digital dentro de un proyecto de gamificación, ambientado en la saga de Harry Potter y denominado Harry Potter: el legado de Dumbledore. En concreto, la propuesta se ha llevado a cabo en el grado de Ciencias de la Actividad Física y el Deporte, de la Universidad de Granada. Para el análisis de la misma se ha utilizado una metodología cualitativa, con el objetivo de conocer las percepciones del alumnado, a través de una pregunta abierta en Google Drive y el uso del software NVivo 11 para su análisis. Los resultados muestran el enorme potencial del breakout en el aula, pues aumenta la gestión emocional, la resiliencia y el aprendizaje del alumnado universitario, siendo para ello un aspecto clave que sea coherente con la narrativa del proyecto de gamificación en el que se enmarca, y que tenga una estética que aumente la inmersión. In this context, it is essential that the training process in higher education is focused on the development of transferable competences to future professional work, such as the digital competence. Due to the meaningfulness and attractiveness of games in today’s young people, game-based learning acquires great relevance, where proposals such as breakouts and escape rooms can be found. These activities have experienced a huge growth in last years. This article analyzes the impact of a double digital breakout in the context of a gamification project set in the Harry Potter saga, and called Harry Potter: Dumbledore’s legacy. Specifically, this proposal has been carried out in the degree of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, from the University of Granada. To analyze this proposal, a qualitative methodology was followed with the aim of collecting students’ self-perception on the breakout, for which an open question in Google Drive was used for students to respond and the NVivo 11 software was used for the analysis. The results show the enormous potential of the breakout carried out in the classroom, as it increases the emotional management, resilience and learning of college students. A key aspect for this to happen is that the breakout design is coherent with the narrative of the gamification project in which it is framed. Keywords: motivation, learning, gamification, breakout

Ante la falta de motivación e implicación del alumnado surgen nuevas estrategias metodológicas que acercan los procesos educativos a los intereses y a las necesidades del estudiante del siglo XXI. Entre ellas destaca la gamificación, que consiste en aplicar los elementos propios del juego en contextos no lúdicos. Esta revisión sistemática pretende conocer la incidencia que la gamificación ha alcanzado en el ámbito educativo español para poder determinar en qué etapas y en qué asignaturas se está aplicando, sobre qué variables se incide y qué resultados se están obteniendo. Para ello se consultaron las bases de datos electrónicas Web of Science (colección principal), Eric y Scopus, contemplando los principios establecidos por la declaración PRISMA para revisiones sistemáticas. De los 118 artículos cribados por el título y el resumen y leídos en su totalidad, solo 15 propuestas cumplieron los criterios de inclusión. En la distribución por etapas educativas el 66.7% de los artículos pertenecen al ámbito universitario, el 20 % a educación secundaria, el 6,7% a bachillerato y el 6,7% restante combinaba el programa en primaria y secundaria. En términos globales, más de la mitad de las propuestas (un 60%) incidieron en variables motivacionales. A pesar del enorme auge de la gamificación en los últimos años, se ha identificado la necesidad de un mayor rigor metodológico y una descripción más exhaustiva de las propuestas para valorar su verdadera potencialidad en nuestro país. In order to face the lack of motivation and involvement of the student body new methodological strategies have emerged aiming to bring the educational processes closer to the interests and necessities of the 21st century’s students. Among them, gamification stands out stands out as a strategy that consists of applying elements from the games in non-ludic contexts. This systematic review seeks to know the impact that gamification has reached in the Spanish educational field to determine in which stages and which courses it is being applied to, on which variables it has an impact on and what are the results that we are obtaining. In order to do this, we consulted digital databases such as: Web of Science (main collection), Eric and Scopus. The principles established by the PRISMA declaration were taken into consideration. Out of the 118 articles filtered by title and abstract, and then read in its entirety only 15 proposals fulfilled the inclusion criteria. In the distribution via different education stages, 66.7% of the articles fall into the category of university education, 20% belongs to mandatory high school education, 6.7% falls into the category of Spanish baccalaureate and the remaining 6.7% combined the program on mandatory primary school and secondary school education. If we think in global terms, more than half of the proposals (60%) had an impact on motivational variables. Despite the rise of gamification in the last few years it has been identified a necessity for a higher methodological exactitude and a more exhaustive description of proposals to value their true potentiality in our country.

Este artículo pretende llamar la atención sobre algunas de las dificultades más significativas con las que el profesorado convive en el desempeño de su labor diaria, de cara a justificar la validez del material didáctico denominado "Diversalud". Su finalidad es la de ayudar a la construcción de un nuevo espacio de aprendizaje en consonancia con las demandas actuales del alumnado. Esto posibilitará una mayor incidencia de la acción educativa del profesorado, complementando los planteamientos habituales en Educación Física orientada a la salud en E.S.O.

La práctica de actividad físico-deportiva es un hábito de vida fundamental en una sociedad donde cada vez se dedica más tiempo a actividades de bajo coste energético: ver la televisión, jugar a videojuegos, conectarse a Internet...; con los riesgos para la salud que este hecho conlleva. Sin embargo, tan importante es adquirir hábitos de práctica físico-deportiva como que ésta se desarrolle desde una perspectiva saludable, de cara a la mejora de la calidad de vida de los escolares. A continuación se presentan los resultados logrados a través de un programa de intervención en Educación Física, con alumnos de secundaria, basado en un Juego de rol. Su finalidad ha sido desarrollar hábitos de actividad física saludable (a nivel procedimental). Éstos revelan un incremento altamente significativo (p< 0.001) respecto a los manifestados previamente al inicio del programa de intervención, principalmente en lo referente al calentamiento y vuelta a la calma.
