One of the priorities of the Strategy of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation (approved by Presidential Decree № 642 of December 1, 2016) is the transition to a highly productive and environmentally friendly agriculture. Organic agriculture can help to ensure sufficient food for the population by 2050 and simultaneously reduce the impact of agriculture on the environment only if it is implemented as part of a system of agricultural production, which should provide the same volume and composition of products as in the baseline scenario. An important aspect of organic livestock production is to reduce the impact of stress factors on animals. A promising solution can be the use of natural biologically active substances with pronounced antioxidant properties. The action of natural bioflavonoids (Taxifolin) and also in a complex with vitamins on the organism of fattening pigs during the periods of stress of various etiology (climatic, fodder, social etc.) has been studied. A complex including vitamin C, vitamin E and Taxifolin has been developed. The provisions of the method of feeding pigs as a way to reduce the negative impact of stress factors on meat quality by means of the studied nutritional factor have been studied experimentally.

Resume. Pigs in many developed countries have long attracted attention as a biological model. In world practice using specially derived for diurnal breeds of pigs and mini-pigs (khorolskii, herfordshire, etc.). Widely used in experiments and native breeds of pigs - in the United States - Yuka-Tang and American-Essex. In Europe, the largest mini-pig farm is located in Germany. where the gottingen breed is bred. Pigs are emotionally unstable animals with low resistance to stress. In this regard, as a biomedical model of research on pigs allows to check the long-term use of drugs and their aftereffect. The aim of the work is to test a non -invasive anti-stress drug lithium ascorbate to reduce the negative impact of spontaneous stress factors arising in pigs. The experiment was conducted on 5 groups of Irish Landrace pigs (4 experimental and 1 control) with 10 heads each in the period from 2 months to 7 months of age. Animals of 1, 2, 3 and 4 experimental groups were daily fed lithium ascorbate in the form of powder at a dose of 10, 5, 2 and 0.5 mg/kg of live weight, respectively, throughout the fattening period. Before placing the animals in experience and 6 months of age, samples were taken of blood. Adrenaline, norepinephrine, cortisol and progesterone, Malon dialdehyde, thiol-disulfide ratio, superoxide dismutase activity were determined in the blood plasma. On the basis of the conducted researches it is possible to make the conclusion that as a result of influence of stressors arising in the course of a standard production cycle of cultivation of pigs there is a strengthening of activity of system of biological active centers of pigs owing to what the level of the General reactivity of an organism raises. Experimental data on the complex of endocrinological and biochemical parameters indicate that lithium ascorbate in fattening pigs has a positive effect on antioxidant status. The revealed effects of lithium ascorbate indicate the prospects for the development of new effective ways to increase stress resistance, nonspecific resistance.

UnLike many synthetic tranquiLizers and sedatives, acting on the neuroreceptors, organic Lithium saLts affect mentaL activity, without affecting neuroreceptors unit of the brain, and are invoLved in the reguLation of neurosynaptic activity through inhibition of enzymes responsibLe for the main metaboLic degradation pathway of gamma-aminobutyric acid - inhibition of GABA-decarboxyLase and GABA-aminotransferase. There is reason to beLieve this method of increasing stress resistance are not onLy more effective but aLso more physioLogicaL Compound organic Lithium saL with ascorbic acid, combined effect on neurohumoraL status and normaLize it, with the effect of their use is the resuLt of decrease LeveL of free radicaL oxidation, incLuding Lipid peroxidation. Lithium ions, contribute to the maintenance of normaL excitabiLity of CentraL nervous system and bLood vesseL tone by reducing the excessive concentration of norepinephrine in the CentraL nervous system and normaLization of the LeveL of sodium ions in nerve and muscLe ceLLs. The compLex nature of neyroLepticheskih of action of Lithium is due to the existence of muLtipLe pathways of exposure to Lithium ions on physioLogicaL processes. With sufficient suppLy of Lithium sensitivity of the brain to dopamine increases. Lithium ions have an effect on the homeostasis of neurotransmitters, and increase the synthesis of neurotrophic factors and the sensitivity of ceLLs of the nervous system to their effects. Further study of the physioLogicaL action of organic saLts of Lithium wiLL aLLow to expand representations about the mechanism of antistress action of drugs of this type and to outLine ways of enhancing the stress resistance of humans and animaLs in the treatment and prevention of depressive and subdepressive States.

Toxicity study in male Wistar albino rats showed that the LD50 of Lithium ascorbate is 6,334 g/kg which refers the substance to grade 5 toxicity (practically non toxic). Accumulation ratio of Lithium ascorbate was found to be 14,8 thus indicating a Low cumulative effect and confirming Low toxicity. HistoLogicaL findings in animaLs treated with Lithium ascorbate daiLy for 30 days in doses cLose to LD50 indicate that an excess strain is exerted upon the neuroendocrine system (heterogeneity of ceLL eLements, signs of dystrophic changes) and, to a Lesser extent, upon the internaL organs. At the same time, after the subtoxic doses were ceased a partiaL restoration of functionaL activity of the organs invoLved was observed.

He paper presents the results of studies of Lithium ascorbate on the models of stress in vitro and in vivo. The results show significant neuroprotective effect of Lithium ascorbate on the model of glutamate stress in the culture of grainy neurocytes. Experiments on modeLs of transport and immobiLization stress confirmed the adaptogenic effects of Lithium ascorbate.
