Lithium metal has a low redox potential (-3.04 V vs standard hydrogen electrode) and high specific capacity (3860 mAh/g), making it an ideal anode material for lithium secondary batteries. The solid-state lithium battery assembled by metal lithium negative electrode/solid electrolyte/lithium-inserted positive electrode is expected to become the power source of related technology industries such as aerospace, robotics, high-end electronics and electric vehicles in the future. However, during the charging and discharging process, due to the uneven deposition and dissolution of lithium, a large number of dendrites are produced on the contact surface between lithium and the electrolyte, and they continue to grow along the direction of the electrolyte, eventually causing the internal short circuit and failure of the battery. The use of a solid electrolyte with a higher Young’s modulus can block the growth of lithium dendrites to a large extent, but still cannot meet the requirements of battery long-term cycling and safety. In addition, metal lithium is in solid-solid contact with the solid electrolyte surface, causing problems such as high electrical resistance across the interface and interfacial reaction between metal lithium and solid electrolyte, which severely hinders the development and use of solid lithium metal batteries. The strategies for inhibiting the growth of lithium dendrites and improving the compatibility of solid-solid interface in metal lithium batteries based on solid electrolytes in recent years were reviewed in this article, and prospects for future development on the interface engineering of Li metal and solid-state electrolytes were prospected.

Compared with traditional lithium-ion batteries, all-solid-state lithium-metal batteries (ASS LMBs) have attracted much attention due to their high safety and high energy density. However, the solid-solid contact of electrodes with solid electrolyte brings large interfacial impedance. Besides, the active lithium metal reacts with most solid electrolytes,leading to unstable interface. So interfacial problem has been one of the key issues to limit the development of ASS LMBs. Solid composite electrolytes with the advantages of inorganic solid electrolytes and organic solid electrolytes, have higher ionic conductivity and certain mechanical strength, showing excellent promising in the light of practical application. The research progress on interface amelioration of solid composite electrolyte and lithium anode was summalized in this review. The main strategy includes constructing a "soft contact" at the interface, adjusting the mechanical performance of the solid electrolyte and tuning the deposition dynamics of lithium ions. Furthermore, the perspectives on interfacial modification were presented.

As a part of heat treatment processes, solution treatment and aging treatment have a great influence on the mechanical properties of 6016 aluminum alloy. In this article, solution temperature, solution time, aging temperature and aging time were taken as parameters to design a heat treatment scheme by central composite design (CCD). At room temperature, the yield strength, elongation, and Vickers hardness of specimens were measured by mechanical testing. The second-generation non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-Ⅱ) solves the shortcomings of the first-generation algorithm, such as the difficulty in parameter selection and low efficiency. In this study, the response surface model derived was used as the objective function to perform the multi-objective optimization by means of NSGA-Ⅱ. After calculation, the Pareto solutions were obtained to filtrate out the solution with comprehensive performance, and then, to acquire the corresponding parameters of the solution and aging process.

The lithium-ion capacitor is a promising energy storage system with a higher energy density than traditional supercapacitors. However, its cycling and rate performances, which depend on the electrochemical properties of the anode, are still required to be improved. In this work, soft carbon anodes reinforced using carbon–Si composites of various compositions were fabricated to investigate their beneficial influences on the performance of lithium-ion capacitors. The results showed that the specific capacities of the anodes increased significantly by 16.6 mAh·g−1 with 1.0 wt% carbon–Si composite, while the initial discharge efficiency barely changed. The specific capacity of the anode with a 10.0 wt% carbon–Si composite reached 513.1 mAh·g−1, and the initial discharge efficiency was 83.79%. Furthermore, the anodes with 7.5 wt% or lower amounts of carbon–Si composite demonstrated reduced charge transfer resistances, which caused an improvement in the rate performance of the lithium-ion capacitors. Moreover, the use of the optimized amount (7.5 wt%) of carbon–Si composite in the anode could significantly improve the cycling performance of the lithium-ion capacitor by compensating the consumption of active lithium. The capacity retention of the lithium-ion capacitor reached 95.14% at 20 C after 10,000 cycles, while the anode potential remained below 0.412 V, which is much lower than that of a soft carbon anode. The objective of the study is to investigate the effects of the Numb/Notch signal pathway on the radiosensitivity of lung cancer cell line H358. MTT assay and colony forming assay were used to detect the effects of different doses of X-rays and MW167 on the in vitro proliferation of the lung cancer cell line H358. Flow cytometry was applied to evaluate the effects of X rays on the apoptosis of H358. Scratch assay and Transwell invasion assay were used to examine the effects of X-rays on the migration and invasion abilities of H358. The mRNA and protein expressions in the signal pathway were detected by real-time PCR and western blot. Assays in vitro confirmed the effects of the Numb/Notch pathway inhibitor on the radiosensitivity to lung cancer. MW167 enhanced the inhibiting effects of X-ray on the proliferation of H358 cell line. After the addition of MW167, the apoptosis rates significantly increased, but the invasion and migration abilities decreased significantly. Meanwhile, MW167 could dose-dependently promote the increase of expression of Numb, which is the upstream gene of the Numb/Notch signaling pathway, but inhibit the expression of and HES1. In vivo experiments revealed that cell proliferation was suppressed in the radiation, pathway inhibitor, and pathway inhibitor + radiation groups, and the pathway inhibitor + radiation group exhibited more active anti-tumor ability when compared with the blank group (all P < 0.05); Numb expression was up-regulated, but Notch1 and HES1 expressions were down-regulated in those three groups, and also, the pathway inhibitor + radiation group exhibited more significant alternation when compared with the blank group (all P < 0.05); cell apoptosis was promoted in those three groups, and the pathway inhibitor + radiation group showed more active apoptosis when compared with the blank group (all P < 0.05). Repression of the Numb/Notch pathway enhances the effects of radiotherapy on the radiosensitivity of the lung cancer cell line H358, and thus the Numb/Notch pathway may be a new target of radiotherapy for lung cancer. Black phosphorus (BP) has been recognized as an ideal anode material for fast‐charging lithium (Li)‐ion capacitors (LICs) due to its high theoretical capacity (2596 mAh g−1), appropriate lithiation potential (0.7 V vs Li+/Li) and fast ion diffusion capability. However, large volume change and soluble polyphosphides (LixPs)‐based intermediates during charging‐discharging process seriously deteriorate cycling performance. To address the aforementioned issues, an elaborated design is reported on the binder for BP electrode. The ‐NH2 polar functional group in grafted chitosan (GCS) binder presents strong chemical anchoring effect for both BP and soluble LixPs, achieving superior adhesion force and LixPs constraining capability for enhanced structure integrity of BP electrode. In addition, GCS exhibits strong Li‐ion binding energy that promotes the Li‐ion adsorption at electrode level, leading to a boosted cycle life for BP. As a result, the graphene (G) incorporated BP electrode using GCS binder shows specific capacity of 997.6 mAh g−1 after 400 cycles at 1 A g−1.
