Abstract

We report the status of a neural network regression model trained to extract new physics (NP) parameters in Monte Carlo (MC) simulation data. We utilize a new EvtGen NP MC generator to generate B → K*0µ+µ− events according to the deviation of the Wilson Coefficient C9 from its SM value, δC9. We train a three-dimensional ResNet regression model, using images built from the angular observables and the invariant mass of the di-muon system, to extract values of δ C9 directly from the MC data samples. This work is intended for future analyses at the Belle II experiment but may also find applicability at other experiments.

Abstract

Within the widely used EvtGen framework, we have added a new event generator model for $B\to K^* \ell^+ \ell^-$ with improved standard model (SM) decay amplitudes and possible BSM physics contributions, which are implemented in the operator product expansion in terms of Wilson coefficients. This event generator can then be used to investigate the experimental sensitivity to the most general BSM signal resulting from dimension-six operators. We describe the advantages and potential of the newly developed `Sibidanov Physics Generator' in improving experimental sensitivity of searches for lepton non-universal BSM physics and clarifying signatures. The new generator can properly simulate BSM scenarios, interference between SM and BSM amplitudes, and correlations between different BSM observables as well as acceptance bias. We show that exploiting such correlations substantially improves experimental sensitivity. As a demonstration of the utility of the MC generator, we examine the prospects for improved measurements of lepton non-universality in angular distributions for $B \to K^* \ell^+ \ell^-$ decays from the expected 50 ab$^{-1}$ data set of the Belle II experiment, using a four-dimensional unbinned maximum likelihood fit. We describe promising experimental signatures and correlations between observables. The use of lepton-universality violating $\Delta$-observables significantly reduces uncertainties in the SM expectations due to QCD and resonance effects and is ideally suited for Belle II with the large data sets expected in the next decade. Our simulation studies also show that Belle II should have excellent sensitivity to BSM physics in the Wilson coefficients $C_7$ and $C_7'$, which appears at low $q^2$ in the di-electron channel., Comment: A contribution to Snowmass 2021 but not included in the final proceedings, published in JHEP

Abstract

This paper has involved the use of a variety of variations of the Fermat-type equation fn(z) + gn(z) = 1, where n(≥ 2) ∈ N. Many researchers have demonstrated a keen interest to investigate the Fermat-type equations for entire and meromorphic solutions of several complex variables over the past two decades. Researchers utilize the Nevanlinna theory as the key tool for their investigations. Throughout the paper, we call the pair (f, g) as a finite order entire solution for the Fermat-type compatible system... we consider some earlier systems of certain Fermat-type partial differential-difference equations on C2, especially, those of Xu et al. (Entire solutions for several systems of nonlinear difference and partial differential-difference equations of Fermat-type, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 483(2), 2020) and then construct some systems of certain quadratic trinomial partial differential-difference equations with arbitrary coefficients. Our objective is to investigate the forms of the finite order transcendental entire functions of several complex variables satisfying the systems of certain quadratic trinomial partial differential-difference equations on Cn. 44. Microbial Analysis of Fresh Fruit Juice Available in the Market.

Abstract

This article discusses a study on the microbial analysis of fresh fruit juices available in the market. The researchers collected 200 samples of mango, pineapple, orange, pomegranate, and sugarcane juices and found that sugarcane and orange juices had high levels of contamination, with fungal contamination being more dominant than bacterial contamination. The study suggests that the microbial load in fresh fruit juices exceeds permissible limits and may contribute to food spoilage and foodborne illnesses. The authors emphasize the need for regulations to improve the quality of fruit juices and prevent the spread of diseases caused by microorganisms found in these juices. Another study conducted in the Patna district of Bihar found that locally prepared fresh fruit juices were contaminated with bacteria and fungi due to poor hygiene and safety conditions in the juice shops. The study concludes that drinking freshly made fruit juice from the market can cause microbial infections and recommends regular inspections and hygiene training to reduce health risks. Abstract

Dokra casting is famous for its Artistic value to the world but it is also sophisticated engineering. The technique is almost 4500 years old. It is practiced by the tribal artisans of India. It is a clay moulded wax-based thin-walled investment casting technique where liquid metal was poured into the red hot mould. Dimensional accuracy is always preferable for consumers of any product. Distortion is one of the barriers to achieving the accurate dimension for this type of casting especially for the bending parts.
