Introduction: Insurtech refers to the use of technology innovations designed to squeeze cost and maximize efficiency from the current insurance industry model. Insurtech is a combination of the word's "insurance" and "technology," inspired by the term fintech i.e. financial technology. Whilst insurance company already move forward, Islamic Insurtech seems not a popular terminology. It may not have unique characteristic from stakeholder's perspective and therefore it may only be embedded in insurtech definition. Purpose: This paper aims to explore the potential of having Islamic insurtech in the global market and analyze the opportunity to establish a conceptual framework for Islamic Insurtech. Methodology: This study uses qualitative approach based on analyzing content analysis. A report from government agencies and corporate include website propose subject of the study were review to developing insurtech framework for takaful. The review of relevant case studies from the literature reveals some important findings in relation to Islamic Insurtech such as future outlook, health protection, funeral insurance and management and the framework. Superfruit refers to food items with exceptional health benefits. The study aims to determine the factors that influence the intention of Malaysians to consume dates; to compare the consumption patterns of dates between the B40 and non-B40 groups; and to explore both groups' willingness to pay when date prices decrease or increase. Employing the survey research design, 329 survey questionnaires were collected and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) and descriptive statistics. The results showed that attitude was not a significant predictor of intention to consume dates, but subjective norm significantly and positively predicted intention. The consumption patterns of B40 and non-B40 consumers were contrasting: The share of regular B40 consumers was lower than that of non-B40, while the group's non-consumers were higher. The non-B40 group, relative to the B40 group, was more willing to pay higher prices for all types of dates, likely due to the former's higher income level. Based on these findings, marketing managers should target health-conscious consumers so that they can encourage their friends and families to consume dates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Sukuk (Islamic bonds) are the Shariah (Islamic law) instrument that serves as an alternative to conventional bonds that are used in the modern capital market. In theory, sukuk represent a form of equity as they represent certificates conferring ownership to holders of an asset or pool of assets or claim to its cash flows. In practice, they have become known as Islamic bonds with their investors holding debt. Following the question of whether sukuk are debt or equity, this paper aims to classify sukuk from the perspective of regulatory bodies and credit rating agencies. The Islamic Social Enterprise (ISE) is increasingly gaining attention due to its flexibility to perform trading activities for income generation while at the same time offering societal contributions. The roles of ISE is greatly viewed from value-based perspective, where the ISE's objective is to support the Islamic third economic sector in easing the needs of those unfortunate and middle class citizens. Involving in trading activities is imperative for this institution given that collections from donations are insufficient as the demand for contribution is very high, as well as there is some cost acquired in its management. In this case, ISE's sustainability should be taking care of to ensure the continuous contributions can be given to society. There are several perspectives on the definition of ISE since it is normally formatted in different forms, receiving initial and continuous source of collections from different Islamic charitable contracts and running different activities. Therefore, this paper attempts to position the definition and the context of ISE by deliberating its definitions and characteristics. Thus, the paper reviews the existing literature from the area of Islamic third economic sector and Islamic transaction law and inter-relating these aspects in the context of ISE. The focus is given on the aspect of the institution's objectives, source of capital using the Islamic charitable contracts, its activities and; income generation and distribution. Based on the findings, the distinctive yet flexible definition of ISE expands the new and relevant area of Islamic third economic sector using Islamic charitable contracts. The discussion highlights that ISE should be guided by maqasid shariah, and follow the Islamic principles.
