Abstract

This article reports on isolation and analysis of differentially expressed genes in Penicillium glabrum subjected to thermnal stress. It discusses that Penicillium glabrum is a filamentous fungus involved in food contamination. It mentions that several environmental factors such as humidity, temperature, atmospheric composition or food characteristics could represent potential sources of stress for micro-organisms. It argues that the factors can directly affect the physiology of the spoilage microorganisms.
