Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kasus stunting berdasarkan faktor demografis dan riwayat pemeriksaan kehamilan ibu. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 129 responden dengan perbandingan 1:2 yang terdiri dari 43 kasus dan 86 kontrol di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Kasus merupakan balita yang terdiagnosis stunting menurut catatan bidan desa dan Dinas Kesehatan Ogan Ilir, sedangkan kontrol diambil dari balita tidak stunting berdasarkan kriteria inklusi penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diambil dengan cara wawancara, pengisian kuesioner, pengambilan titik koordinat, dan observasi secara langsung. Analisis data yang digunakan, yaitu univariat dan spasial untuk melihat gambaran dan distribusi variabel, dan bivariat dengan uji chi square. Hasil bivariat menunjukkan, faktor demografis yang memiliki hubungan dengan kasus stunting adalah status pekerjaan ibu p-value 0,049 (OR 0,27; CI 0,08-0,88) dan pendapatan rumah tangga p-value 0,034 (OR 2,27; CI 1,05-4,88) serta faktor demografis yang tidak memiliki hubungan adalah tingkat pendidikan formal ibu, rata-rata pengeluaran rumah tangga, kepemilikan JKN, dan keikutsertaan program Bansos. Sedangkan faktor riwayat pemeriksaan kehamilan ibu yang memiliki hubungan dengan kejadian stunting adalah kunjungan ANC p-value 0,032 (OR 0,18; CI 0,04-0,83) dan faktor riwayat pemeriksaan selama kehamilan yang tidak memiliki hubungan adalah status IMT ibu dan konsumsi TTD oleh ibu.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara kualitas air bersih, fasilitas MCK, dan riwayat diare terhadap kasus stunting pada balita usia 24-59 bulan di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case control di 13 desa lokus stunting Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 129 responden menggunakan perbandingan 1:2 kasus dan kontrol. Kasus diambil dari balita yang terdiagnosis stunting berdasarkan catatan dinkes dan bidan desa, sedangkan kontrol diambil dari balita yang tidak stunting berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu data primer yang diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner, wawancara, dan pengukuran kualitas air. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode analisis univariat dan bivariat (chi-square). Hasil analisis bivariat yang diperoleh bahwa kualitas fisik air bersih yang memiliki hubungan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita adalah sumber air berwarna p-value=0,005 (OR=3,24; CI=1,49-7,03), sumber air berasa p-value=0,004 (OR=3,67; CI=1,57-8,58) dan sumber air berbau p-value=0,005 (OR=3,65; CI=1,53-8,71). Serta untuk variabel kualitas fisik dan kimia air bersih dan air minum, fasilitas MCK, dan riwayat penyakit diare tidak memiliki hubungan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita dengan nilai p-value0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini terdapat hubungan antara sumber air berwarna, berasa dan berbau dengan kejadian stunting pada balita di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Hal ini menunjukkan pentingnya peningkatan kualitas air bersih serta pencegahan penyakit diare sebagai bagian dari strategi penurunan kasus stunting.

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease that is a health problem in the world. In Indonesia, most cases of tuberculosis attack the productive age. Cases of pulmonary tuberculosis in Rantau Alai District in 2022 amounted to 380 cases, with the number of positive cases as many as 29 cases resulting in disability in the lungs and extrapulmonary organs and even death. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and behavior of the host with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis at productive age in Rantau Alai Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study used a case-control design with 108 respondents selected by simple random sampling. Then, the data analysis test was carried out, namely the chi-square test and multiple logistic regression test. Stunting merupakan salah satu permasalahan gizi yang dialami oleh balita secara global yang digambarkan sebagai bentuk dari kegagalan tumbuh kembang yang tidak mencapai pertumbuhan optimal akibat gizi kurang atau gizi buruk dalam waktu cukup lama. Kekurangan asupan gizi tersebut terjadi sejak bayi dalam kandungan hingga setelah lahir, namun stunting baru nampak setelah bayi berusia 2 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan personal hygiene ibu dengan kasus stunting pada balita usia 0-59 bulan di lokus stunting Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Desain penelitian menggunakan case control dengan subjek adalah anak usia 0-59 bulan yang terdiagnosa stunting di 9 desa lokus stunting di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dan kontrol adalah anak usia 0-59 bulan yang tidak terdiagnosa stunting. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 201 reponden dengan perbandingan 1:2 dan ibu dari anak usia 0-59 bulan sebagai responden penelitian. Hasil analisis bivariat diperoleh (p-value =0.000, OR=3,119) menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara personal hygiene ibu dengan kejadian stunting pada balita. Balita yang diasuh oleh ibu dengan personal hygiene yang kurang baik akan berisiko mengalami stunting 3,119 kali lebih besar dibanding balita yang diasuh oleh ibu dengan personal hygiene yang baik.

Health issues are important in the world of education, including in Islamic boarding schools. To support the health status of santri (students at the Islamic boarding school), Islamic boarding schools need to facilitate them through Pos kesehatan pesantren or Poskestren (Islamic Boarding School Health Center). This community service aimed to establish a Poskestren at an Islamic boarding school. The methods adopted in this community service included advocacy, education, socialization, promotion, and empowerment for santri. This study used action research design. There is collaborative between researcher and student in Islamic boarding school. We collected data by survey, taking action and evaluating action. Data analysed used descriptive. The result of this community service showed the establishment of a Poskestren was supported by all parties, and a special room was provided for this health service with the necessary facilities and infrastructure at Kampung At-Tauhid Islamic Boarding School. In addition, this community service also established Kader Santri Husada (Santri Husada Cadres) consisting of nine santri whom the campus and community health center had trained regarding emergencies, use of medical devices, personal hygiene, and prevention of sexually deviant behavior. It is expected that the Poskestren can provide services for all communities at the Islamic boarding school on an ongoing basis. It is also expected that the Islamic boarding school and community health center can continue the development of this Poskestren service.

Poor snack food habits with a diversity of snacks encourages children's snack habits at school, because they can spend a third of their time at school. However, there are still many children who have the habit of consuming snacks and poor hand and nail hygiene habits The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of diarrhea in elementary school. This research was quantitative with the Cross Sectional method. The sample in this study amounted to 118 respondents, which were determined by simple random sampling technique. Respondents were dominated by women as many as 77 respondents (65.3%), and the age of the respondents was dominated by the age category 11-12 years as many as 60 respondents (50.8%). Bivariate analysis resulted that there was a significant relationship between the frequency of snack food consumption, the choice of snack foods, the habit of washing hands, and cleanliness of nails with the incidence of diarrhea, while the habit of carrying lunch had no significant relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in elementary school in Muara Burnai Village II. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the selection of snack foods was the most dominant variable influencing the incidence of diarrhea in elementary school children with (p-value=0.030; PR=29.291; CI 95%)=1.393-615.854) after controlling for the variable frequency of snack food consumption, washing habits hand and nail hygiene. The schools should make regulations related to standards for traders so that they become healthy canteens in school.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19 ) is an infectious disease caused by a new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and currently become a great threat and public health consent worldwide, including in Indonesia. COVID-19 infected more than three hundred million people worldwide, causing more than five million deaths. This study aimed to assess the preventive behavior, knowledge, and history of COVID-19. A cross-sectional study was carried out using secondary data of field learning experience students by the Faculty of Public Health, Sriwijaya University in 2021, the population is all mothers who have toddler in Ogan Ilir Regency and the sampling method uses purposive sampling with 1850 mothers as a respondent in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatera, Indonesia. Univariate analyses were used to see the distribution of variable and bivariate analysis conducted using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05 to see the association of the variable. The result shows that 0.6% of mothers infected with COVID-19 and 0.8% of mothers who had family were positive COVID-19. More than half of respondents, 52.4%, have good preventive behavior, and 48.6% have poor preventive behavior. 53.1% of respondents had good knowledge, and 46.9% had poor knowledge regarding COVID-19. Level of knowledge (P-value 0.001) and underlying health conditions or comorbidities (P-value) were factors related to good preventive behavior. Therefore, effort must be made to increase awareness and improve knowledge related to COVID-19 by health workers.
