The necessity of maintaining healthy habits, diet and minimal medical complications is challenging. The current study investigates Equisetum ramosissimum on levels of leptin, ghrelin, and their ratio in association with body weight changes in animals receiving standard and high-fat diet. Ethanolic extract was prepared by maceration and total phenols and flavonoids contents were determined using Folin-cicalto and AlCl3 methods. Study animals were fed with either standard or high-fat diets prior treatment with E. ramosissimum extract (500mg/kg). Body weights were monitored and serum concentrations of leptin, ghrelin and their ratios were determined. The plant extract comprised total phenols and flavonoids of 0.03 ± 0.01 mg/mg as Gallic acid, and 0.04 ± 0.03 mg/mg as quercetin, respectively. Findings revealed significant decrease in body weights of standard-diet animals and restoration of weight to normal after treatment with extract along with significant increase in serum ghrelin concentrations with strong correlation R and R2 values in respect to body weight. As well, significant reduction in serum leptin/ghrelin ratio was positively correlated with body weight and serum leptin levels. E. ramosissimum extract possessed promising characteristics on being introduced in dietary supplements and weight control regimens. The current study presented the influence of extract in decreasing body weight in animals fed with standard diet. Moreover, it restored the weights of obese animals which received the extract after gaining weight and being on high-fat diet. Further preclinical studies are warranted to reveal the translational potentials of E. ramosissimum extract and its vital effect on adipokines.

This study aims to investigate the anti-hyperlipidaemic effect of ethanolic leaf extract of Equisetum ramosissimum. 2,2-Diphenyl-1- picrylhydrazyl assay for antioxidants, Folin-Ciocalteu, AlCl3, and UHPLC-MS/MS analysis, focusing on phenols and flavonoid content were performed. Anti-hyperlipidemic effect of the extract on lipid profile and body weight was evaluated alone or in combination with Atorvastatin in rats. The extract was shown to contain phenols (0.032±0.001 µg/g, equivalent to gallic acid), flavonoids (0.044±0.003 mg/g, equivalent to quercetin), and antioxidant IC50 value of (1000.00±0.78 µg/mL). UHPLC-MS/MS analysis revealed the presence of 8 different phenols and flavonoids. An in vivo study on healthy standard diet-fed animals and an induced hyperlipidaemic model showed a significant (P < 0.05) reducing effect of the extract alone and in combination with Atorvastatin on serum lipid profile. These findings revealed the potential advantages of the extract alone and in combination with statins for preventing or treating hyperlipidaemia, but need to be further explored.

The leaves of Nicotiana glauca (N. glauca; Solanaceae) plant are a known, major human health concern. This study investigated the antioxidant activity and polyphenols composition of aerial parts of N. glauca collected from its wild habitat in Jordan, using Methanol-Conventional (MC) and deep eutectic solvents (DES) extraction methods in addition to nicotine content determination using UHPLC. Our results showed that the MC extract contains fewer total phenols and flavonoid content than the 90% DES extract, (0.1194 ± 0.009 and 0.311 ± 0.020 mg/mL equivalent to gallic acid) and (0.01084 ± 0.005 and 0.928 ± 0.09 mg/mL equivalent to rutin), respectively. Moreover, this study showed that the prepared MC extract contain 635.07 ppm nicotine, while the 90% DES extract contain 1194.91 ppm nicotine. Extracts prepared using the MC and the DES methods exhibited weak antioxidant activities; the highest was a 33% inhibition rate (equivalent to ascorbic acid), obtained by the 90% DES extract,. The performed UHPLC-MS/MS analysis in this study also revealed the presence of variations in the detected compounds between the two extraction methods. Furthermore, this study found that environmentally friendly DES extraction of N. glauca produced higher phenol and flavonoid content than the MC method; this highlights the superior efficiency and environmental benefits of sustainable chemistry methods for extracting valuable phytoconstituents.

This study was designed to determine the levels of coffee oil and diterpenes and evaluate the correlation between the effect of excessive roasted coffee consumption on non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non-HDL) and the roasting degree effect on the levels of coffee oil and diterpenes extracted from Coffea arabica. The coffee oil and diterpenes were extracted using soxhlet and liquid-liquid extraction. Sixty-six healthy normolipidemic male participants were assigned for this study which consisted of two stages. The first stage is the coffee abstaining stage where subjects were requested to abstain from drinking coffee for 2 weeks. The second stage is the coffee drinking stage which consisted of groups (the control group and coffee-drinking group). The levels of TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, and non-HDL were determined in all participants before and after the experiment. The results indicated that the coffee roasting degree demonstrated a significant increase in the levels of coffee oil and diterpenes ranging from 9.31% (green coffee) to 15.64% (dark roast) and from 0.205% (green coffee) to 0.300% (dark roast) for diterpenes. In conclusion, the current study revealed that excessive consumption of medium roasted coffee was associated with elevated non-HDL levels in normotensive nonsmoker healthy men which might be attributed to the positive association between the degree of roasting and diterpenes levels.

Traditional remedies for Moringa peregrina leaves have a variety of uses with confirmed biological and therapeutic effects, as per published reports. The current study aims to evaluate the ability of the leaves aqueous extract to protect from nephrotoxicity in gentamicin-treated mice. Phytochemical analysis for the aqueous extract was performed using DPPH (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) assay for antioxidants, Folin-Ciocalteu, AlCl3 and HPLC- MS/MS analysis, focusing on phenol and flavonoid content. The nephroprotective activity of the prepared extract was evaluated by means of variable biochemical parameters including Creatinine (Cr), Uric Acid (UA), and Urea (Ur). In addition, histological examination of renal tissues was performed in all mice groups (control, gentamicin-induced (150 mg/Kg i.p) and aqueous extract-orally treated groups (500 and 1000 mg/Kg)). Findings reveal that the prepared extract has total phenols (555.57±0.92mg/g, equivalent to gallic acid), flavonoids (40.08±1.56 mg/g, equivalent to quercetin), and DPPH IC50 (3.10 µg/ml). HPLC-MS/MS analysis revealed the presence of 10 phenols and flavonoids compounds. In vivo studies showed a significant (P < 0.05) reducing effect for the high-dose treatment, on serum and urine concentrations for UA, Cr, and U, among the nephrotoxicity induced mice. Low-dose treated group showed significant reduction on serum concentration of UA, Cr and U, but only for Cr concentration in urine. The histological examination showed an improvement in the image of the renal tissue among the induced-nephrotoxicity mice, which was treated with high-dose extract. In conclusion, leaves aqueous extract of M. peregrina have shown potential protective effect to counteract some of the gentamicin consequences on kidney functions.

يهدف البحث إلى تحديد الاحتياجات التّدريبيّة لدى عينة من الطّلبة المعلّمين في كليّة التّربية في جامعة تشرين لاستخدام نماذج غوغل كوسيط للاختبارات الالكترونيّة من وجهة نظرهم، وتعرّف علاقتها بمتغيري: اقتناء جهاز داعم للوصول إلى نماذج غوغل، وعمل الأب و/أو الأم في مهنة التّعليم. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تمَّ استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وأُعدّت استبانة الاحتياجات التّدريبيّة ووزّعت على عينة عشوائيّة بسيطة مكوّنة من (225) طالباً في السّنة الرّابعة، ثمّ جُمعت البيانات وحُللت إحصائيّاً، وتوصّلت الباحثتان إلى النّتائج الآتية: احتياجات الطّلبة المعلّمين التّدريبيّة لاستخدام نماذج غوغل كوسيط للاختبارات الالكترونيّة مرتفعة بشكل عام. لا يؤثّر اقتناء الطّلبة المعلّمين جهاز داعم للوصول إلى نماذج غوغل في درجة الاحتياجات التّدريبيّة لاستخدام نماذج غوغل كوسيط للاختبارات الالكترونيّة. تنخفض الاحتياجات التّدريبيّة لاستخدام نماذج غوغل كوسيط للاختبارات الالكترونيّة عند الطّالب المعلّم الذّي يعمل أحد والديه على الأقل في مهنة التّعليم. وانتهى البحث بمجموعة من التّوصيات كالاهتمام بتوفير البنية التّحتيّة اللّازمة للاستفادة من تقنيّة الاختبارات الالكترونيّة المعتمدة على الويب في مخبر الحاسوب بكليّة التّربية، ودمج أسس ومهارات استخدام نماذج غوغل كوسيط للاختبارات الالكترونيّة في مفردات المقررات الحاسوبيّة العمليّة للطّلبة المعلّمين، والإفادة من قائمة الاحتياجات التّدريبيّة في بناء البرنامج التّدريبي. الكلمات المفتاحيّة: الاحتياجات التّدريبيّة، نماذج غوغل، الاختبارات الالكترونيّة.

هدف البحث الحاليّ إلى قياس مستوى الضّغوط النّفسيّة لدى عيّنة من معلميّ الحلقة الأولى من مرحلة التّعليم الأساسيّ في مدنية اللّاذقيّة، وتحديد عامل الشّخصيّة الأكثر شيوعاً لديهم، وتقصّي العلاقة بين مستوى الضّغوط النّفسيّة والعوامل الخمسة الكبرى في الشّخصيّة، فضلاً عن تقصّي إمكانيّة التّنبّؤ بمستوى الضّغوط النّفسيّة من خلال العوامل الخمسة الكبرى. لتحقيق أهداف البحث، استُخدم المنهج الوصفيّ، وكانت أداتا البحث: مقياس الضّغوط النّفسيّة للمعلّمين للعاسمي، ومقياس العوامل الخمسة الكبرى في الشّخصية (NEO-FFI) لكوستا وماكري بنسخته المترجمة إلى اللّغة العربيّة، وشملت عيّنة البحث (360) معلّماً ومعلّمةً من معلّمي الحلقة الأولى من مرحلة التّعليم الأساسيّ في مدنية اللّاذقيّة. أظهرت نتائج البحث أنّ: مستوى الضّغوط النّفسيّة لدى المعلمّين عيّنة البحث مرتفع، وأنّ انخفاض مستويات: (الانبساطيّة، والانفتاح على الخبرة، والطّيبة) لدى المعلّمين يؤدي إلى ارتفاع مستوى الضّغوط النّفسيّة، وأنّ ارتفاع مستويي: (العصابيّة، ويقظة الضّمير) يؤدي إلى ارتفاع مستوى الضّغوط النّفسيّة لديهم. وأنّه يمكن التّنبّؤ بمستوى الضّغوط النّفسيّة عند المعلّمين من خلال عوامل: (العصابيّة، يقظة الضّمير، الطّيبة، الانفتاح على الخبرة، والانبساطيّة)، فضلاً عن أنّ عامل الشّخصيّة الأكثر شيوعاً لدى المعلمين كان يقظة الضّمير. وبناء على نتائج البحث قُدّمت بعض المقترحات منها: إعداد وتطبيق برامج إرشاديّة وعلاجيّة للمعلّمين في مرحلة الخدمة؛ ممن يعانون من الضّغوط النّفسيّة، و تدريب المعلمين في مرحلة ما قبل الخدمة على تطبيق استراتيجيّات التّخفيف من الضّغوط النّفسيّة.

هدف البحث الحالي إلى تحديد الأثر المباشر للثقة بالإدارة الضريبية في الالتزام الضريبي، فضلاً عن الأثر المباشر لقوة الإدارة الضريبية بشقيها الشرعي والقسري في الالتزام الضريبي، وأخيراً دراسة الأثر التفاعلي للثقة والقوة في الالتزام الضريبي للمكلفين بضريبة دخل الأرباح الحقيقية في محافظة اللاذقية، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدمت الباحثة الاستبانة كأداة قياس، وقامت بتوزيعها على عينة عشوائية من مكلفي ضريبة دخل الأرباح الحقيقية في محافظة اللاذقية، حيث بلغ حجم العينة 340 مكلّف من المجتمع البالغ 3000 مكلّف، وذلك خلال عام 2021. توصلت نتائج البحث إلى وجود أثر طردي ذو دلالة إحصائية لكل من الثقة والقوة الشرعية في الالتزام الضريبي، وأثر عكسي ذو دلالة إحصائية للقوة القسرية في الالتزام الضريبي، كما توصل إلى وجود أثر طردي للحالة التفاعلية بين الثقة والقوة الشرعية في الالتزام الضريبي، وأثر عكسي للحالة التفاعلية بين الثقة والقوة القسرية في الالتزام الضريبي. أيّدت هذه النتائج افتراضات إطار المنحدر الزلق وأكدّت على دور الثقة والقوة كمحددين هامين للالتزام الضريبي، والدور المعدّل لكل من القوة القسرية والقوة الشرعية في العلاقة بين الثقة بالإدارة الضريبية والالتزام الضريبي.

Vascular dementia (VD) is a neurocognitive disorder whose precise definition is still up for debate. VD generally refers to dementia that is primarily caused by cerebrovascular disease or impaired cerebral blood flow. It is a subset of vascular cognitive impairment, a class of diseases that relate any cerebrovascular injury as a causal or correlating factor for cognitive decline, most commonly seen in the elderly. Patients who present with both cognitive impairment and clinical or radiologic indications of cerebrovascular pathology should have vascular risk factors, particularly hypertension, examined and treated. While these strategies may be more effective at avoiding dementia than at ameliorating it, there is a compelling case for intensive secondary stroke prevention in these patients. Repeated stroke is related to an increased chance of cognitive decline, and poststroke dementia is connected with an increased risk of death. In general, most physicians follow recommendations for secondary stroke prevention in patients with VD, which can be accomplished by the use of antithrombotic medicines such as antiplatelets (aspirin, clopidogrel, ticlopidine, cilostazol, etc.). In individuals with a high risk of atherosclerosis and those with documented symptomatic cerebrovascular illness, antiplatelets treatment lowers the risk of stroke. While this therapy strategy of prevention and rigorous risk management has a compelling justification, there is only limited and indirect data to support it. The following systematic review examines the role of antiplatelets in the management of vascular dementia in published clinical trials and studies and comments on the current evidence available to support their use and highlights the need for further study.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن ممارسات إدارة الارباح في البنوك والشركات المساهمة السورية المدرجة وغير المدرجة في سوق دمشق للأوراق المالية، حيث أجريت الدراسة على عينة شاملة مكونة من (31) شركة تمثل (12) بنك و(19) شركة تنتمي لقطاعات مختلفة وذلك خلال الفترة الممتدة من 2008- 2012. لقياس ظاهرة إدارة الارباح اعتمدت الدراسة على تقدير الاستحقاق الاختياري وتطبيقه على الشركات المساهمة السورية عدا البنوك باستخدام (Modified Jones Model 1995). كما تمّ استخدام نموذج مخصصات خسائر القروض (LLPs) لتطبيقه على البنوك. وجاءت نتائج الدراسة لتؤكد أن معظم الشركات والبنوك المساهمة السورية المسجلة وغير المسجلة بسوق دمشق للأوراق المالية مارست إدارة الأرباح خلال الفترة المدروسة ( 8 بنوك مارست إدارة الأرباح من أصل 12 بنك، 13 شركة مارست إدارة الارباح من أصل 19 شركة). كما أوضحت أن أغلب الشركات المساهمة الخدمية والصناعية مارست الاستحقاق الاختياري بطريقة سالبة، بينما أغلب الشركات المساهمة الزراعية و شركات التأمين مارست الاستحقاق الاختياري بطريقة موجبة، وقد بينت الدراسة ازدياد ممارسة إدارة الأرباح خلال عام 2012 عند الشركات المساهمة السورية المدرجة وغير المدرجة لتصل إلى 84%.

يهدف البحث إلى تقييم المنصة التّربوية السّورية ومنصة إدراك الأردنية في ضوء مجموعة من المعايير، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي، واستخدام أداة تكونت في شكلها النّهائي من (35) معياراً، وقد عُرضت الأداة على مجموعة من المحكمين، وتم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وتوصل البحث إلى النّتائج الآتية: حققت المنصة التّربوية السّورية ما نسبته (62.86%) من المعايير الموضوعة. حققت منصة إدراك ما نسبته (91.43%) من المعايير الموضوعة. وانتهى البحث بمجموعة من التّوصيات منها: تطوير المنصة التّربوية السّورية في ضوء النّتائج التّي تم التّوصل لها، وإجراء المزيد من المراجعات على المعايير الموضوعة لتواكب المستحدثات في بيئات المنصات التّعليمية.

Abstract The Pharmacy One™ Poising Call Center (P1PCC), located in Amman, Jordan, was created to address deficiencies identified by the pharmacy service, including in the management of poisoning cases. The aims of this study were to analyze the patterns of poisoning cases reported to the P1PCC and to describe the role of the P1PCC pharmacist in ensuring preparedness and managing the response to poisoning cases. In addition, the information from these interventions was used to survey human poisoning in Jordan. This is a retrospective descriptive study of acute poisoning incidents in the Jordanian population, as recorded by the P1PCC during the period 2014‐2018. Inquiries received by the P1PCC were recorded on a predesigned form. The year, patient demographics, toxic agent involved, and circumstances of the poisoning event were all fully documented utilizing Oracle and Excel spreadsheets. A total of 1992 poisoning incidents were reported to the P1PCC, predominately (68.59%) via 911 phone calls. Reports were predominantly from males (1.67:1). Children were the second most common age group after adolescents (22.62% and 42.49%, respectively). The most frequent causative nonpharmaceutical agents were household products (17%) in preschool children and animal bites (20%) in adolescents. Most of the poisoning incidents (74.63%) occurred at home. Unintentional poisoning (54.12%), with mild medical outcomes (61.45%), accounted for most of the poisoning incidents caused by exposure to household products. These data may represent the most recent picture of poisoning incidents in Jordan. Emergency medical services were provided by experienced pharmacy practitioners at the P1PCC, to respond to emergency needs in the community in a professional manner. Therefore, the need for unnecessary hospitalization and the cost of ambulance dispatch were minimized, which are highly valuable outcomes.

Abstract Poison control centers provide surveillance data that can be used to estimate the magnitude of poisoning cases and the level of public awareness and to evaluate control measures. The aim of this study is to describe the drug‐related poisoning queries received by the Pharmacy One™ Poisoning Call Center (P1PCC) in Jordan. This is a retrospective descriptive study of the acute drug‐related poisoning incidents in the Jordanian population recorded by the P1PCC during the 2014‐2018 period. The inquiries received were recorded on a predesigned form. The demographic data, including the age and the sex of the patient, the route of and reason for exposure and the drug therapeutic groups, in addition to medical outcomes, were extracted utilizing computerized Oracle and Excel spreadsheets. During the period of evaluation, 900 drug‐related poisoning incidents were reported to the P1PCC. The majority of calls (48.5%) were received via 911, followed by the public (48.56%) and healthcare professionals (27.1%). More than half of the poisoning incidents were recorded among males (52.5%). Adults were the most affected group (40.5%), followed by children (34.0%). Unintentional exposure was the most common cause of poisoning (58.6%), followed by suicide attempts (25.3%). Nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs and paracetamol caused the majority of the reported cases. Poisoning incidents were mainly classified as mild to moderate (56.1%), while only 16.6% were severe. The P1PCC has demonstrated an important and vital role in improving patient safety and providing education on rational drug use. Reflections on these data can be used to increase public awareness in promoting the rational use of medications among Jordanian citizens.

Phenolic and antioxidant compounds have received considerable attention due to their beneficial effects on human health. The aim of this study is to determine the content of total phenols and antioxidants in fifty-two coffee samples of different origins, purchased from the Jordanian local market, and investigate the effect of the degree of roasting on the levels of these compounds. The coffee samples were extracted using the hot water extraction method, while Folin–Ciocalteu (FC) and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay methods were used to analyze these compounds. The results showed that the highest content of total phenol (16.55 mg/g equivalent to GAE) was found in the medium roasted coffee, and the highest content of antioxidants (1.07 mg/g equivalent to TEAC) content was found in the green coffee. Only light and medium roasted coffee showed a significant correlation (p < 0.05, R2 > 0.95) between the average of total phenolic and antioxidant content. A negative correlation between the antioxidant content and the degree of roasting (p < 0.05, R2 > 0.95) were shown, while it did not correlate with phenolic contents. Previously, a positive correlation between antioxidant and chlorogenic acids content was observed, with no correlation between the origin of coffee samples nor heavy metal content, which was previously determined for the same coffee samples. These findings suggest that the antioxidant content for coffee extracts is largely determined by its chlorogenic acid content, rather than the coffee origin or total phenolic and heavy metals content.

Chlorogenic acid and caffeine are among the important components in coffee beans, determining the taste and aroma. In addition, phenols and antioxidants content possess vital health values. The main aim of this study is to determine the levels of caffeine and chlorogenic acid in several coffee samples of different origins and degrees of roasting. The coffee samples were extracted using hot water. The levels of caffeine and chlorogenic acid were quantified using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) equipped with a diode array detector, a reverse phase system, and an ODS column (C18). Total phenol and antioxidant contents were previously determined for the same samples. The results showed that the highest content of caffeine was found in the medium roasted coffee (203.63 mg/L), and the highest content of chlorogenic acid content was found in the green coffee (543.23 mg/L). The results demonstrated a negative correlation between the chlorogenic acid levels with the degree of roasting, while it showed a positive correlation between the caffeine levels with the degree of roasting till a certain point where the levels dropped in the dark roasted coffee. The origin of coffee samples did not show any effect on any of the measured variables. Antioxidant effects of coffee samples were largely determined by chlorogenic acid content.

أثر إلزام الشركات بتبني معايير التقرير المالي الدولية على تمهيد الدخل (دراسة مسحية على عينة من الشركات المدرجة في الأسواق المالية العربية) ريم عيسى اسيا استامبولي هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر الإلزام بتبني معايير التقرير المالي الدولية على تمهيد الدخل في عدد من الشركات المدرجة في الأسواق المالية ل(الأردن، فلسطين، سلطنة عُمان). حيث شملت العينة القوائم المالية نصف السنوية والختامية ل 25 شركة عن ثمان سنوات موزعة لأربع سنوات قبل إلزام التبني وأربع سنوات بعد الإلزام. تم قياس تمهيد الدخل من خلال ثلاث مؤشرات هي (التغيرات في صافي الدخل، التغيرات في صافي الدخل مقسوماً على التغيرات في صافي التدفقات النقدية والارتباط السالب بين المستحقات والتدفقات النقدية). توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الإلزام بتبني معايير التقرير المالي الدولية لم يحقق النتائج المرجوة منه بخفض تمهيد الدخل، إذ ارتفع تمهيد الدخل بالنسبة للمقياسين الأول والثاني ولكن بشكل غير جوهري فيما كان هذا الارتفاع بالنسبة للمقياس الثالث جوهرياً. ويُعزى ذلك إلى المرونة التي تميز المعايير الدولية، وعدم ملائمة هذه المعايير لبيئات العمل الوطنية، وإلى عدم وجود حوافز قوية لدى الشركات بتبني هذه المعايير. This study comes to reveal the impact of IFRS Enforcement adoption on income smoothing in a number of companies listed at (Jordan, Palestine, Oman) stock exchange markets. The sample included the semi- annual, annual,financial reports for 25 companies covered 8 years divided into 4 years before the enforcement adoption of IFRS, and 4 years post adoption of IFRS. Income smoothing was measured by three metrics (changes in net income, changes in net income scaled by changes in net cash flows, and the negative correlation between accruals and cash flows). The study concluded that the adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) did not achieve the desired results by reducing the income smoothing, where the increase of income smoothing for the first and second metrics were not significant, but income smoothing for the third metric was increased. This is due to the flexibility that characterizes international standards, the inadequacy of these standards for national work environments, and the lack of strong incentives for firms to adopt these standards.

This study aims to investigate the presence of websites for the registered companies in the Syrian Commission of Financial Markets and Securities (SCFMS). It also identifies the level of the Internet Financial Reporting (IFR) of the companies that have presence on the world wide web; and the information they use to report on their websites. The study is applied on 46 registered companies within the first quarter of 2017. The websites' presence of the registered companies are investigated by the Companies' Information link on the SCFMS webpage. Google search engine is used to find the websites of some companies that were not available on SCFMS webpage. A checklist is developed using the scoring system to measure IFR level. The findings show that 54% of the registered companies have reachable websites. They also show that the level of IFR in Syria is still in its infancy. The registered companies seem to be interested in the financial items of reporting more than the other items. التقرير المالي على الانترنت في سورية دراسة استكشافية هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من وجود مواقع الكترونية للشركات المسجلة في هيئة الأوراق والأسواق المالية السورية، بالإضافة إلى تحديد مستوى التقرير المالي على الانترنت للشركات التي تملك مواقع الكترونية، وتحديد المعلومات التي تقوم بالتقرير عنها عبر مواقعها الالكترونية. أجريت الدراسة على 46 شركة مسجلة في الهيئة خلال الربع الأول من عام 2017. تم التحقق من وجود مواقع الكترونية للشركات المسجلة في الهيئة، عبر رابط معلومات الشركات ضمن صفحة هيئة الأوراق والأسواق المالية السورية، كما تم الاستعانة بمحرك بحث Google للوصول إلى عناوين المواقع الالكترونية لبعض الشركات التي لم تنشر عنوان موقعها الالكتروني على صفحة الهيئة. هذا وقد تم تطوير قائمة تعتمد على نظام النقاط لقياس مستوى التقرير المالي على الانترنت. أظهرت النتائج أن 54 % من الشركات المسجلة في هيئة الأوراق والأسواق المالية السورية تملك مواقع الكترونية على الانترنت يمكن الوصول إليها، كما بينت أن مستوى التقرير المالي على الانترنت في سورية مازال متدنياً. أظهرت الشركات اهتماماً بالتقرير عن العناصر المالية بنسبة أكبر من اهتمامها بالتقرير عن بقية العناصر.
