Metabolic bone disease of prematurity (MBDP) is a systemic bone disease with a reduction in bone mineral content due to disorder of calcium and phosphorus metabolism. There is still a lack of in-depth research and systematic understanding of MBDP in China, and there are many irregularities in clinical management of this disease. Based on relevant studies in China and overseas, Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation was used to develop the expert consensus on the clinical management of MBDP, which provides recommendations from the following five aspects: high-risk factors, screening/diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and post-discharge follow-up of MBDP, so as to provide relevant practitioners with recommendations on the clinical management of MBDP to reduce the incidence rate of MBDP and improve its short- and long-term prognosis.早产儿代谢性骨病（metabolic bone disease of prematurity，MBDP）是由于机体钙磷代谢紊乱导致骨矿物质含量减少的全身性骨骼疾病。我国目前对MBDP尚缺乏深入研究和系统认识，在临床管理方面存在很多不规范之处。现基于国内外相关研究，采用证据推荐分级的评估、制定与评价方法（Grading of Recommendations Assessment，Development and Evaluation），制定MBDP临床管理专家共识，从MBDP的高危因素、筛查/诊断、预防、治疗及出院后随访等5个方面提出推荐意见，旨在为相关从业人员提供 MBDP临床管理的建议，以减少MBDP的发生及改善其近远期预后。.

Microcapsules with epoxy curing agent were successfully prepared by an in-situ polymerization route with epoxy resin and poly-(urea–formaldehyde) as core and shell materials, respectively. The synthetic conditions were optimized by a comprehensive investigation on raw materials consumption, size distribution, and surface morphology. Preparation of microcapsules with high wrap ratio was also demonstrated. The as-synthesized microcapsules were studied using various characterizations techniques, including optical microscope, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, and contact angle meter. Spherical microcapsules (size: ∼ 60 μm) with smooth surface were obtained when the stirring rate was 400 rpm and the amount of core materials is 76 wt %. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This study aimed to determine whether the Trp64Arg mutation in the β 3 -adrenergic receptor (β 3 -adr) gene is related to childhood obesity and the response to dietary intervention for obesity. The study included 311 healthy children aged 8-11 y selected at random from 4 primary schools in Beijing. Fasting insulin and lipids were measured and anthropometry was carried out for all samples. The mutation of the β 3 -adr gene Was determined by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis Forty-seven obese children were selected and divided into two groups, One group received dietary intervention (36 subjects): the other served as the control group (11 subjects). After 3 mo of dietary intervention, anthropometry was carried out again in 47 obese children. The frequency of the mutated allele was similar in 73 overweight and 238 normal-weight children (0.18 and 0.17, respectively). Adjusted for age and sex, there was no significant difference in body mass index (BMI) and the levels of fasting lipids and insulin between those with and without the mutation of the 31 I children. However, after 3 mo of dietary intervention, increases in weight and BMI were significantly lower in obese children without the mutation than in the control group (2.41 ± 0.56 vs 4.43 ± 0.70, p < 0.05; 0.48 ± 0.24 vs 1.55 ± 0.35, p < 0.05, respectively), but the changes in weight and BMI in obese children with the mutation were similar to the results in the controls (4.32 ± 0.69 vs 4.43 ± 0.70; 1.47 ± 0.32 vs 1.55 ± 0.35). Conclusion: The Trp64Arg mutation of the β 3 -adr gene may predict the result of dietary intervention in obese children to some extent, but it was not a major factor affecting weight in Chinese children.
