Our objective is to analyze the behaviour of cereals at the level of soils characterized by different salinity rates, in Oranais and to see the correlation between the nature of the soil and the yield. We studied the regional bioclimate and carried out physicochemical analyzes of the soils of plots sown during the 2016-2017 agricultural campaign in durum wheat (Semito variety) and barley (Saida variety), at three sites. In particular at the CFPA (Professional Training and Learning center) of Misserghin in the Province of Oran, Si Zidane pilot farm in the Province of Sidi Bel Abbes and at the level of INRAA of H'madena in the Province of Relizane. Our study allowed us to identify variability in salinity, with extreme salinity at the level of the sebkha of Oran which is used as the benchmark for the extreme rate of salinity observed. Other physicochemical parameters, different from one site to another, were determined with a view to looking for correlations of other parameters with salinity. The Misserghin site stood out in terms of yields compared to other sites thanks in particular to its low salinity rate which is 1.73ds m-1 and a rainfall of 296 mm with better distribution. Followed by the site of the Si Zidane pilot farm in Sidi Bel Abbes, and then followed by the INRAA site which revealed a low yield, given the aridity with low cumulative precipitation, as well as its situation in a Semi-arid lower than warm winter. The chickpea is one of the most consumed crops in Algeria. Unfortunately, it is damaged by the phytopathogenic fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri, the vascular wilt agent. In this study, we highlight the antagonistic activity of actinomycetes which we can use as biological tool to fight this dreaded phytopathogenic fungus. We recovered from the arid soils of southern Algeria, 61 isolates of actinomycetes with different morphological characteristics. Then, we tested the antagonistic activity of these actinomycete isolates, by various in vitro methods, on the growth of the phytopathogenic fungus. The thin layer chromatography was used on the selected actinomycete extract. As results, we obtained 06 isolates of actinomycetes (ACT1, ACT2, ACT3, ACT4, ACT5 and ACT6) presenting potential antagonistic activities against 3 isolates of F. oxysporum f. sp. ciceri (FOC8, FOC13 and FOC15). Preliminary identification using morphological criteria revealed the presence of Streptomyces characteristics for the 6 isolates. The activity of the crude extract from the selected actinomycete isolates against the 3 isolates of F. oxysporum f. sp. ciceri showed that the activity of the isolate ACT2 was greater compared to the others. The thin layer chromatography of the culture filtrate crude extract showed the presence of 5 fractionswith each fraction representing bioactive molecules. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Vascular wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri (FOC) is a disease that limits the yield of chickpea in Algeria. Biological control with antagonistic microorganisms is one of the alternatives methods to fight this fungal disease. In this work, we tested an actinomycete Streptomyces ACT2 against 03 isolates of FOC (FOC8, FOC13, FOC 15) in vivo on three varieties of chickpea including a sensitive variety (ILC-482) and two varieties moderately tolerant (Col-27, PPC-25) in order to highlight its effect on the reduction or suppression of this disease. The results obtained showed that the degree of suppression of the disease by ACT2 varies from one variety to another and from one FOC isolate to another. The maximum suppression of the disease was observed in the Col-27 variety. The ACT2 isolate showed higher levels of disease suppression in both the moderately sensitive Col-27 (13.68%) and PPC- 25 (18.78%) varieties than the sensitive variety ILC-482 (8.76%). The Streptomyces (ACT2) can be used as a biological protector of chickpea infected by the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We introduce for two given linear relations A and B , the linear relation quotient B / A and we give a detailed treatment of some basic algebraic and topological properties of this new notion. Molecular and morphological data were gathered for specimens of species of Macvicaria Gibson & Bray, 1982 and Pseudopycnadena Saad-Fares & Maillard, 1986 (Digenea: Opecoelidae) collected from two sparid fishes, Diplodus vulgaris (Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire) and Sparus aurata L., off the Algerian coast of the Western Mediterranean. Phylogenetic analyses based on ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 and partial 28S rDNA sequences provided evidence for the distinct species status of eight Mediterranean species of Macvicaria. Novel molecular data are provided for four species, M. gibsoni n. sp. and M. crassigula (Linton, 1910) ( sensu stricto) based on specimens from D. vulgaris, and M. mormyri (Stossich, 1885) and M. maamouriae Antar, Georgieva, Gargouri & Kostadinova, 2015 based on specimens from S. aurata; descriptions of the molecular voucher material of the former three species are provided. Two species were delineated within the ' crassigula' species complex of Macvicaria, M. gibsoni n. sp. and M. crassigula ( s. str.), the distinctive differentiating features being the distribution of the dorsal vitelline fields in the forebody, confluent in M. gibsoni n. sp. and non-confluent in M. crassigula ( s. str.), and the molecular data for both markers. Sequences associated with morphological description are also provided for the type-species of Pseudopycnadena, P. fischthali Saad-Fares & Maillard, 1986, based on material from D. vulgaris. In basin of the Great Sebkha of Oran, water deficit linked to climate semi-aridity has forced farmers to resort to the use of underground water of poor quality, which considered as the major cause of soil degradation. The alluvial aquifer waters are particularly characterized by higher relatively concentration in dissolved salts when compared them with other aquifers of the same system. Generally, the salinity of the water increases from upstream to downstream in the direction of the Sebkha (Boualla et al. in Water Supply 17(6):1801-1812, 2017). Assessment of soil quality has become the basic work for agricultural sustainable development. The aim of this paper is to evaluate soil properties in great Sebkha of Oran basin. Geo-referred soil samples were collected from ten-component analysis, and different soils were analysed for different physical and chemical attributes. Our study focuses on mineralogical analysis and geochemical prospecting using soil chemical data. Eleven indicators were selected to constitute data to assess the soil quality: sieve analysis, classification, cation exchange capacity, pH, soil organic matter, conductivity, gypsum, nature of the oxide content, nutrients (NO3-N, NH4-N, PO4-P), anions content (SO42−, Cl−) and mineralogical analysis.
