Quantum computing and machine learning convergence enable powerful new approaches for optimizing mobile edge computing (MEC) networks. This paper uses Lyapunov optimization theory to propose a novel quantum machine learning framework for stabilizing computation offloading in next-generation MEC systems. Our approach leverages hybrid quantum-classical neural networks to learn optimal offloading policies that maximize network performance while ensuring the stability of data queues, even under dynamic and unpredictable network conditions. Rigorous mathematical analysis proves that our quantum machine learning controller achieves close-to-optimal performance while bounding queue backlogs. Extensive simulations demonstrate that the proposed framework significantly outperforms conventional offloading approaches, improving network throughput by up to 30% and reducing power consumption by over 20%. These results highlight the immense potential of quantum machine learning to revolutionize next-generation MEC networks and support emerging applications at the intelligent network edge. The Nutrient-upgraded Rodent Food Bar (NuRFB) is the standard diet for mice in NASA's Rodent Research Project aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Given the nature of spaceflight and the lengthy production process of the food bars, a shelf-life assessment was conducted to evaluate nutritional stability over time (ranging from 0 to 27 months) and under different storage conditions (refrigerated, ambient, and refrigerated + ambient), where ambient is 22–23 °C. Lipid oxidation markers and fat- and water-soluble vitamins were assessed under various time and temperature conditions using AOAC International methods. Vitamin D levels showed a minor decrease, and riboflavin fluctuated slightly over time, but all vitamin levels remained above National Research Council (NRC) minimum requirements. Food bars stored at 4 °C showed significantly higher thiamine levels than the bars that underwent some degree of ambient temperature storage, but all met the NRC guidelines. Minimal lipid oxidation was observed for up to 18 months, and no mold or yeast growth occurred despite the high moisture content of the bars. ABSTRACT Acrylamide (AA) and 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) are the byproducts of the Maillard reaction that pose health risks due to their high exposure to the Western diet. Current study examines the impact of yeast fermentation on AA, HMF formation, and chemical composition of French fries. Fermentation, known for enriching food with beneficial probiotics, vitamins, and minerals, is coupled with blanching, a technique used to inactivate enzymes and reduce microbial load, thus preserving color and extending shelf life. Fermentation reduced HMF and AA levels in French fries by approximately 86.5% and 54.78%, respectively. Furthermore, combining fermentation with blanching treatment further decreased HMF and AA levels by 88.62% and 59.81%, respectively. This research suggests that yeast fermentation, particularly when combined with blanching treatment, can effectively mitigate the formation of AA and HMF in French fries, thereby potentially reducing their health risks. Introduction: Preterm labour and delivery have a major contribution to perinatal mortality and morbidity. Tocolytic therapy reduces neonatal mortality and morbidity by prolonging gestation, allowing for corticosteroid administration and inutero transfer to a tertiary care centre. There is a need to find out better tocolytic agent that is most effective and with the least side-effects. Aim: To compare oral Nifedipine and transdermal Nitroglycerine patch to achieve tocolysis in preterm labour. Materials and Methods: A prospective interventional study was conducted in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah, from January 2020 to June 2021. A total of 100 women presenting with signs and symptoms of preterm labour with live singleton pregnancy and intact membranes were included. All the women were divided into Group-A (n=50) and Group-B (n=50). Group-A received oral Nifedipine 20 mg of oral initially and 10 mg Nifedipine repeated after 30 minutes if the contractions persisted. Oral Nifedipine 10 mg was repeated every six hours till contractions subsided, and a transdermal Nitroglycerin patch (25 mg) was directly applied to the skin of the abdomen in Group-B. Demographic profile, the number of patients in which tocolysis was successful, improvement in Bishop score, prolongation in gestational age, maternal sideeffects, and foetal outcomes in the form of birth weight, APGAR score, and NICU admission were recorded in both the groups on Excel sheet. Chi-square test and t-test were used to test the significance of the difference between categorical and continuous variables respectively. A p-value less than 0.05 were taken as significant. Results: In Group-A 94% (47 out of 50) achieved tocolysis while in Group-B 86% (43 out of 50) achieved tocolysis (p value-0.182). The mean prolongation of pregnancy was 17.70±13.04 and 13.14±11.03 in Groups A and B, respectively. The maternal complication was significantly higher in Group-B as compared to Group-A (22% Vs 6%, p-value-0.0097). In Group-A mean birth weight was 2.422 kg ±0.34 whereas in Group-B mean birth weight was 2.204±0.38 Kg (p-value-0.0032). The electrochemical C‐N coupling process, facilitating the production of organic nitrogen substances (such as urea, methylamine, formamide, and ethylamine) via the simultaneous reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) and small nitrogen‐based substances, stands at the forefront of advancing carbon neutrality and the artificial nitrogen cycle. This method has garnered substantial interest due to its potential economic and environmental benefits. Although considerable progress has been achieved in this emerging field, it still faces challenges, including slow reactant adsorption, competing side reactions, and complex multi‐step pathways, resulting in low yields and selectivity. Strategically designing and developing low‐cost and exceptionally performant catalysts is crucial for cost‐effective and precise electrochemical C─N bonding. This article offers an in‐depth review of the electrosynthesis of valuable organic nitrogen compounds at ambient conditions from earth‐abundant resources/wastes, such as CO2 and small nitrogenous molecules (nitrogen: N2, nitrite: NO2−, nitrate: NO3−, ammonia: NH3, etc.), via electrochemical C─N bond formation reactions, especially using carbon‐based catalysts. The relevant electrochemical C─N bond formation mechanisms, the design principles of advanced carbon‐based electrocatalysts, and the impact of different electrolyser designs are discussed, along with the present obstacles and upcoming prospects in this dynamic field. Light enables vision and exerts widespread effects on physiology and behavior, including regulating circadian rhythms, sleep, hormone synthesis, affective state, and cognitive processes. Appropriate lighting in animal facilities may support welfare and ensure that animals enter experiments in an appropriate physiological and behavioral state. Furthermore, proper consideration of light during experimentation is important both when it is explicitly employed as an independent variable and as a general feature of the environment. This Consensus View discusses metrics to use for the quantification of light appropriate for nonhuman mammals and their application to improve animal welfare and the quality of animal research. It provides methods for measuring these metrics, practical guidance for their implementation in husbandry and experimentation, and quantitative guidance on appropriate light exposure for laboratory mammals. The guidance provided has the potential to improve data quality and contribute to reduction and refinement, helping to ensure more ethical animal use. Lighting conditions for laboratory mammals is currently set according to the sensitivity of human vision. The use of technology has a significant impact on changing a variety of industries, including agriculture. Although there are a number of technologies designed and developed by many Scientists most of these are either not adopted or partially adopted by farm women. The popularity of technologies among agricultural women is extremely uncommon. There are so many constraints in its use due to socio-economic conditions, situational or technological problems, they tend to reject the technology, discontinue its use or partially adopt it. In developing nations, gender norms dictate that women are expected to be largely responsible for domestic work. Women are still predominantly responsible for domestic and care work, despite rising female involvement rates in the workforce and significant contributions from women to economic growth and gross domestic product (GDP) globally. Poor mental health among women in low- and middle-income nations may be influenced by high work demands, particularly in rural areas where women are more likely to engage in labour-intensive unpaid employment. Women shoulder excessive burden of unpaid work with more traditional gender role attitudes. Rural women often encounter conflicting demands from their agricultural work and household work such as long and irregular working hours, physically demanding tasks, and unpredictable seasonal demands. It was observed that agricultural work was manually doing most of the agricultural operations. The role demands of farm women put them under heavy pressure requiring work-family balance. The current study was designed to study work demands of farm women, nature of work and type of work regarding household work, farm work and livestock work in Haryana, through agro climatic zones. To draw a representative sample, eight villages from four districts (Two districts from each agro climatic zone) were taken randomly. From each village data was collected from 25 respondents. Therefore, the study concluded that half of the respondents to cent percent respondents were doing all the activities related to family responsibilities as their day-to-day routine work in both zones. Most of the agricultural activities related to manual operations were carried out by the majority of respondents while participation of respondents was very low in activities related to buying and selling such as buying equipment or selling production in both zones. Acrylamide (AA) and 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) are Maillard reaction products that are formed during frying; they are toxic and are considered a potential health risk due to their high consumption levels in western diets. The purpose of this study was to evaluate various strategies for the formation of AA and HMF in French fries. HMF was quantified with a UV‐spectrophotometer and AA was determined by high‐pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) with the help of diode array detection (DAD) detector. Principal component analysis was used to visualize the effects of the various additive treatments, and these data were also used to evaluate the best‐fitting regression models between AA and HMF with reducing sugar, asparagine, and color value (a*), and browning index. The resulting models showed a highly significant correlation (r > 0.90, p < 0.001). Organic acids and salts and pectin all significantly reduced the final AA content due to the change in pH. Additionally, amino acids decreased AA while maintaining the pH at its original value. With a combination of citric acid and l‐lysine, a synergistic AA‐lowering effect was observed. Practical application: This research will benefit the Indian food industry by demonstrating how an additive can be used as a pretreatment to compress the AA and HMF content of foods. This frequently raises the customer's awareness of consumable goods and the importance of determining the maximum amount that can be consumed daily to protect themselves from contaminants such as HMF and AA. Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare operative data and postoperative complications among nondescent vaginal hysterectomy (NDVH), laparoscopy-assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH), and total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) at a rural tertiary care center. Materials and Methods: This is a prospective analytical study, of 145 hysterectomies for benign conditions with or without salpingo-oophorectomy in women from 30 to 60 years, over 3 years from January 2016 to December 2019, with 60 cases of NDVH, 46 cases of LAVH, and 39 cases of TLH. The three groups were compared intraoperatively in terms of blood loss, operating time, and intraoperative complications and postoperative complications and postoperative duration of hospital stay. Results: There was no significant difference between the three groups in terms of age, parity, body mass index, and indications for hysterectomies. The mean operative time was significantly shorter (P = 0.000) in the NDVH group (54.67 ± 15.67 min) as compared to the LAVH (102.45 ± 10.53 min) and TLH (126.79 ± 8.7 min) groups. Intraoperative blood loss was greater (P = 0.000) in the TLH group (111.025 mL ± 20.8) as compared to the NDVH (59.50 mL ± 16.7) and LAVH (91.85 mL ± 10.66) groups. The intraoperative complications and postoperative complications were higher in the TLH group as compared to the LAVH and NDVH groups. The duration of hospital stay was almost similar in all the groups. Conclusion: NDVH may be the preferred approach for experienced surgeons, as it is less time-consuming, has a small amount of blood loss, and is a scarless surgery, whereas LAVH and TLH may be the preferred approaches in the cases of presence of adnexal masses and adhesions or whenever salpingo-oophorectomy is indicated. Introduction: Cervical cancer is the primary malignancy in Indian women. The most significant method for untimely diagnosis of cancer cervix is cytology screening, but it is not possible to launch nationwide cytology screening programme of cervical cancer. So, this has lead to the development of low cost technology e.g., visual inspection of the cervix after application of acetic acid. Aim: To compare Visual Inspection using Acetic Acid (VIA) and Liquid Based Cytology (LBC) in evaluation of abnormal cervical lesions. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted on 1600 women who fulfill selection criteria. Patients attending Gynaecology Outpatient Department (OPD) with the following signs and symptoms like vaginal discharge, abnormal uterine bleeding, lowback pain, contact bleeding, and lower abdominal pain were included. After taking informed consent, the participant was subjected to detailed history, physical examination, LBC, VIA and Colposcopy followed by biopsy (if required). The sensitivity and specificity of each test are determined and compared. Data entry and analysis were done using SPSS Inc., version 11.0. Results: In present study, VIA was more sensitive (92.06%) than the LBC (68.25%) for the detection of dysplasia. However, the specificities of VIA (56.76%) and LBC (54.05%) had not much difference. Positive Pedictive Value (PPV) of VIA was 78.38% and Negative Predictive Value (NPV) of VIA was 80.77% while PPV of LBC was 71.67% and NPV of LBC was 50%. The accuracy of VIA (79%) is higher than LBC (63%). Conclusion: The VIA is more sensitive screening modality than LBC. The accuracy of VIA is higher than LBC in detecting premalignant lesion which makes it a suitable and valuable alternative screening method to cytology in poor resource setting. Introduction: The regularity of menstrual cycle depends on many factors like genetic makeup, hormonal balance, weight and height, chronic medical illness and psychological problems. Life of medical students is very stressful, their food habits and sedentary lifestyle make them more prone for many menstrual abnormalities. Aim: This study was conducted to find out the menstrual abnormalities and its association with different biological variables like BMI, food habits and physical activity. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted at U.P.U.M.S. Saifai, Etawah between July- August 2019 on 150 Female medical students. All the willing female medical students were asked to fill preformed selfstructured questionnaire (weight, height, menstrual pattern and abnormalities, food habits, addiction, physical activity, relevant medical and surgical history) and association was sought between menstrual abnormalities and different demographic factors by using Pearson chi-square test. Results: The mean age of students were 21.9 years. Mean age at menarche was 13.4 years. A total of 2.7% students ate junk food daily; 18% (27) girls had irregular cycles out of which only five girls had taken treatment for this. Amount of blood loss during menstruation was found to be increased in 5.8% girls that consumed junk food (p=0.13). There was no significant correlation found between pattern of menstrual cycle and BMI, physical activity, addiction. Dysmenorrhea and PMS was less in the girls that were on restricted diet for weight reduction (46.1% and 61.5%, respectively) but this difference was not statistically significant. There was significant association between dysmenorrhea and regular consumption of junk food. Dysmenorrhea and PMS was also less in the girls that exercised regularly (45.2% and 69% respectively) (p=0.4). PMS was significantly associated with addiction to tea or coffee (p=0.04). Conclusion: In this study dysmenorrhea and PMS was the most common menstrual abnormalities. Medication was being taken mostly for dysmenorrhea. Background of the Study: Ayurveda has described eight kinds of honey with the different medicinal values that get change with the passage of time of one year. Pauttika honey is a specific kind of honey among the eight types of honey produced by Pauttika honey bee, which is indicated in the management of diabetes (Prameha), obesity (Sthaulaya), dyslipidemia, etc. Objective: To identify and standardize the type of honey and its honey bee on scientific parameters and the characteristics as mentioned in Ayurveda. Materials and Methods: Honey was procured from the natural honey hive and Standard methods were used for physico-chemical analysis, sensory evaluation, and color hunter test. Bee identification was done by an expert entomologist. Results: Analysis of honey, showed that procured honey was Pauttika type of honey as described in Ayurveda and bee was identified as Apis dorsata. Researchers also found some changes in the properties of honey after the one year like in pH, HMF, Color, and Sensory evaluation. Conclusion: The Physico-chemical analysis of honey samples confirmed the good quality of Pauttika honey produced by Apis dorsata also confirms a new variety of honey as mentioned in Ayurveda. Background: Ayurveda scholars have given comprehensive descriptions about characteristics of pure and vitiated human milk, measures of its purification, effect of diet, lifestyle on quality of human milk and its effect on growth and development of infant. Recent researches have also shown that the variation in human milk composition is associated with the maternal diet, environment, and potentially with genetic factors. Studies have reported that individual mothers within species often demonstrate variation in milk composition and/or yield affecting infant growth and development. Prakriti refers to genetic account of an individual, so there may be variation in human milk composition because of metabolic peculiarity and dietary differences. Aim and Objectives: To analyze the composition of pure and vitiated Human milk as per Prakriti. Materials and Method: Total 200 healthy lactating Indian mothers, aged between 20 to 35 years were registered after getting informed written consent from OPD of Department of Kaumarbhritya, I.M.S, BHU, Varanasi, India during year 2015-2017. Analysis of milk for fat, SNF, density, protein, lactose, freezing point, conductivity and pH was done through Eco milk Analyzer. The vitiation of milk was assessed by water test mentioned in Ayurveda text viz. Charak Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanghridyam, Kashyap Samhita etc. Assessment of Prakriti (Psychosomatic constitution) of mothers was done by validated Performa. Results: The mean values of different constituents viz. Fat(%), SNF(%), Density(g/cm³), Protein (%) and Freezing Point(°C) were more in vitiated milk as compared to pure human milk. The variation in composition of milk was also found as per Psychosomatic constitution, the mean values in milk varied significantly as per Prakriti (p=0.0287). On applying Post Hoc Test, the significant pairs were for Vata v/s Pitta (<0.05) and Vata v/s Kapha (<0.05) Prakriti. Conclusion: Present study suggests that the composition of human milk varies as per Prakriti and in vitiated state too. Thus by correction of diet and lifestyle as per Prakriti, the quality of breast milk may be improved and better growth of infants may be obtained by using medicines for purification of milk. Introduction: Demographic transition with ageing of the population is a global phenomenon which demands international, national, regional and local action. The percentage of the elderly population in India increased from 5.4 percent in 1950 to be about 8.7 percent in 2015 and expected to be 12.4 percent in 2030 and 19.6 percent in 2050. Several forces are driving India's changing age structure, including an upward trend in life expectancy and falling fertility. The aging populations is a sign of successful development in medical sciences and technology, living standards and education, but also raise unique social, economic and clinical challenges, including a growing demand for increasingly complex healthcare service. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted period of one year (August 2014 to July 2015) in Allahabad districts on elderly population only. Data was collected by house to house visits. Informed consent was obtained. Morbidity was assessed by taking history, doing a clinical examination, reviewing past medical records (musculoskeletal disorders, hearing problems, eye problems, hypertension and diabetes) and medicines taken by the study subject. Chi-square test was used to find out associated with morbidity in elderly population. Results: We were found mean age of study participant was 68.86 years. Majority of subjects (31.8%) were suffering from two chronic conditions, followed by 15.5% were having three chronic conditions, 4.8% having four chronic diseases and 1% were found to be suffering from five chronic diseases conditions. Conclusion: The preventive programme and strategies should be focused on more frequent and periodic screening of elderly with special focus to elderly female, Health education and health service provision near the dwelling place through mobile health team and by peripheral workers. Context: In folk medicine, the stem bark ofStreblus asperLour. (Moraceae) has been reported to possess anticonvulsant activity. However, no systematic/scientific validation is available. ObjectiveThis study explores the constituents in the stem bark, their biosassy-guided isolation and their efficacy in neuro-pharmacological disorders, for validating the traditional claims. Materials and methods: Microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) technique was employed to obtain the crude extract. Then-hexane, dichloromethane and aqueous fractions were prepared and phytoconstituents were ascertained by phytochemical tests. The isolated compound, betulin, was characterized by different physicochemical and spectral methods, including HPTLC. Finally, neuro-pharmacological evaluations were conducted at 100, 200, 400 mg/kg b.w., p.o. (25, 50, 100 mg/kg b.w. for betulin) doses in BALB/c mice. Results: Then-hexane fraction (400 mg/kg), and isolated compound betulin (100 mg/kg), showed maximum anticonvulsant activity in maximal electroshock (87.84% and 85.14% seizure inhibition), and isoniazid induced convulsion models (88.85% and 83.18% seizure inhibition), respectively. A dose-dependent attenuation of epileptic seizures was observed, probably through GABArgic mechanism of anticonvulsant action. Moreover, the antidepressant study was also conducted using behavioural models and the results expound thatn-hexane and dichloromethane fractions (400 mg/kg) significantly reduced the duration of immobility, as compared to the control. Discussion and conclusion: This study reports some novel aspects like applying an environmentally benign/green approach of MAE, neuro-pharmacological screening and use of docking studies, for the first time, on the plantS. asper. Background: Malnutrition kills one out of three infants in India. 66% of these deaths occur during the first year of life and is often caused by inappropriate feeding practices. The study was conducted with the objective to assess the general breastfeeding practices of postnatal mothers, to determine the relationship of breastfeeding practices with selected variables and to find out deficit in general breastfeeding practices of postnatal mothers. Method(s): The area selected for the study was postnatal wards of CMC and Hospital, Ludhiana, Punjab. A quantitative research approach and non experimental descriptive research design was used for the study. 60 postnatal mothers were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using general breastfeeding practice checklist to assess general breastfeeding practices. Results: The findings of study showed that majority of postnatal mothers had average level of (75%) general breastfeeding practices. Religion, occupation and source of information showed significant impact on general breastfeeding practices. Majority (81.66%) of general breastfeeding practices of postnatal mothers were deficit in cleaning breast after breastfeeding and putting baby on right side of the abdomen after breastfeeding. Conclusion: The findings of the study pointed out that postnatal mothers should be observed and guided during breastfeeding session so that they learn correct breastfeeding practices and continue breastfeeding. Condyloma Acuminata (CA) or wart is a benign lesion which is caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV) type-6 or type-11 infection. During pregnancy, condyloma has a tendency to proliferate and may have recurrence. This is because during pregnancy physiological changes takes place to the external genitalia and immunological effects during pregnancy promote HPV replication, and increased vaginal secretions contacting the skin and mucous membranes in pregnancy also lead to proliferation of CA in pregnancy. A 25-year-old primigravida presented to our hospital at 36 weeks pregnancy with extensive genital warts. These lesions regressed itself one month postpartum and remained only on vulva. Podophyllum resin application was planned for remaining lesions two months postpartum. The few treatments that have been tested and recommended for use in pregnancy are Bi and Tri Chloro Acetic Acid (BCA/TCA) application, cryotherapy, electrocautery and surgical excision, including laser treatment. The article presents a study which examines the effectiveness of 34-aa peptide (RXP-E) in combination with carboxyl terminal domain of Cx43CT in preventing cardiac gap function closure and action potential propagation block. Result shows that cyclized heptapeptide and a linear octapeptide of sequence RRNYRRNY offer the structural platform for the design of Cx43CT-interacting gap junction openers. They concluded that Cx43CT is essential to gap junction channel function.

Leiomyoma is a very rare benign tumour to be found in ovary. Here, we report a case of 40-year-old perimenopausal women with large left ovarian mass. The Computerised Tomography (CT) showed left ovarian solid mass without ascites, right ovary was normal. Her CA125 level was 46 units/mL. Total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophrectomy was done. Histopathological findings were suggestive of ovarian leiomyoma. Since, it is very rare to be found in ovary so immunohistochemistry was done to confirm the diagnosis. Symptomatic ovarian leiomyoma is very rare but it should always be considered in the differential diagnosis of ovarian mass. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article provides information on the findings of a study on the stimulation of connexin 43 (Cx43) expression and gap-junctional communication in pituitary folliculostellate (FS) cells by adenosine. The expression of Cx43 in TtT/GF pituitary cells is influenced by prolactin MMQ. Cytokines and growth factors that are thought to act in a pracrine or autocrine are produced by FS cells.
