Abstract This study seeks to analyze the psychological construction of Unconventional Religious Orientations and their association with individual income level satisfaction within Generation Z. Generation Z, individuals born between 1995 and 2010, grew up in a socio-cultural context marked by digitization and globalization. This study identifies three key dimensions of Unconventional Religious Orientations: religious spiritual dependence, religious instrumental tendencies, and religious uniqueness identity. By combining rootedness theory, semi-structured interviews, and literature review, we constructed and refined a set of relevant scales. Using exploratory and validation factor analyses (EFA and CFA), we verified the structural validity of the scale. The results of the analyses revealed significant negative correlations between satisfaction with income level and all dimensions of Unconventional Religious Orientation for Generation Z, suggesting that Unconventional Religious Orientation tends to diminish as income satisfaction increases. In addition, the significant positive correlations between these dimensions of religious inclination imply that they may share certain underlying factors in their psychological structure. This study not only successfully developed a set of psychometric instruments for Unconventional Religious Orientations, but also provided a new psychological perspective for understanding the dynamic interaction between economic satisfaction and religious psychological attitudes in Generation Z.

Egg granuloma formation in the liver is the main pathological lesion caused by Schistosoma japonicum infection, which generally results in liver fibrosis and may lead to death in advanced patients. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) regulate the process of liver fibrosis, but the putative function of miRNAs in liver fibrosis induced by S. japonicum infection is largely unclear. Here, we detect a new miRNA, miR-182-5p, which shows significantly decreased expression in mouse livers after stimulation by soluble egg antigen (SEA) of S. japonicum or S. japonicum infection. Knockdown or overexpression of miR-182-5p in vitro causes the increased or decreased expression of tristetraprolin (TTP), an important immunosuppressive protein in the process of liver fibrosis. Furthermore, knockdown of miR-182-5p in vivo upregulates TTP expression and significantly alleviates S. japonicum-induced hepatic fibrosis. Our data demonstrate that downregulation of miR-182-5p increases the expression of TTP in mouse livers following schistosome infection, which leads to destabilization of inflammatory factor mRNAs and attenuates liver fibrosis. Our results uncover fine-tuning of liver inflammatory reactions related to liver fibrosis caused by S. japonicum infection and provide new insights into the regulation of schistosomiasis-induced hepatic fibrosis.

The circadian clock regulates various physiological processes in mammals. The core circadian clock gene Bmal1 is crucial for maintaining the oscillations of the circadian clock system by controlling the rhythmic expression of numerous circadian clock-controlled genes. To explore the transcriptional changes associated with Bmal1 deletion in liver tissues, we collected liver tissues from global and liver-specific Bmal1 knockout mice, along with their respective control groups, at two circadian time points (CT2 and CT14) and used them for transcriptome sequencing analysis. Genotyping, locomotor activity analysis, and comprehensive quality control analyses, including base quality scores, GC content, and mapping rates, confirmed the high quality of sequencing data. Differential expression analysis and RT-qPCR validation confirmed the reliability and validity of the dataset. These data offer a valuable resource for researchers investigating the role of BMAL1 in liver physiology, pathology, and the broader field of circadian biology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Definition: In response to the increasing complexity and sophistication of cyber threats, particularly those enhanced by advancements in artificial intelligence, traditional security methods are proving insufficient. This paper provides an overview of the zero-trust cybersecurity framework, which operates on the principle of "never trust, always verify" to mitigate vulnerabilities within organizations. Specifically, this paper examines the applicability of zero-trust principles in environments where large volumes of information are exchanged, such as schools and libraries, highlighting the importance of continuous authentication (proving who users are within the network), least privilege access (providing only access to what users specifically need), and breach assumption (assuming a breach has or will occur and thus operating to limit the spread through the use of multiple checkpoints throughout the network). In the face of the huge consumption of fresh water and river sand by the concrete industry and the poor flexural performance of plain concrete, it is theoretically feasible and environmentally friendly to use bamboo fiber as a replacement to reinforce concrete mixed with seawater and sea sand. In this research, taking the volume fraction (0.6%, 1.2%, and 2.4%), aspect ratio (10, 20, and 30) and diameter (1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 mm) of bamboo fibers as parameters, 15 groups of bamboo fiber‐reinforced concrete (BFRC) prisms and one control group of plain seawater sea sand concrete prisms were subjected to four‐point bending test, followed by analyzing the crack pattern, ultimate load, mid‐span deflection and strain. Under the condition of 1.2% volume fraction, 20 aspect ratio, 1.5 mm diameter, and 30 mm length, the maximum increase rate of flexural strength in this research was obtained, and then it was compared with that of flexural strength of concrete prisms reinforced by various natural fibers. In addition, relevant fitting equations and theoretical calculation formulas were derived, laying a foundation for the subsequent research and application of BFRC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
