Influenza poses a significant risk to public health, as evidenced by the 2009 H1N1 pandemic which caused up to 203 000 deaths worldwide. Predicting the spatiotemporal information of disease in the incubation period is crucial because the prime aim of it is to provide guidance on preparing a response and avoid presumably adverse impact caused by a pandemic. This article designs and analyzes a prediction system about influenza-like illness (ILI) from the latent temporal and spatial information. In this system 1) Gaussian function model and multivariate polynomial regression are employed to investigate the temporal and spatial distribution of ILI data; 2) the phase space reconstructed by delay-coordinate embedding is used to explore the dynamical evolution behavior of the 1-D ILI series; and 3) a dynamical radial basis function neural network (DRBFNN) method which is the kernel of the system, is proposed to predict the ILI values based on the correlations between the observations space and reconstructed phase space. The performance analysis of our system shows that the regression equations coupling with spatial distribution information can be used to supplement the missing data, and the proposed DRBFNN method can predict the trends of ILI for the following one year. Furthermore, the prediction system in this article applies a model-free control schemes, i.e., there are no restriction equations between the multivariable inputs and outputs. This prediction system is expected to be used in predicting the output signals, even the chaotic output signals, in meteorology, industry, medicine, economy, and other fields. The issue of impulse noise detection and reduction is a critical problem for image processing application systems. In order to detect impulse noises in corrupted images, a statistic named local consensus index (LCI) is proposed for quantitatively evaluating how noise free a pixel is, and then an impulse noise detection scheme based on LCI is introduced. First, the similarity between arbitrary two pixels in an image is quantified based on both their geometric distance and intensity difference, and the LCI of arbitrary pixel is calculated by summing all the similarity values of pixels in its neighborhood. As a new statistic, the value of LCI indicates the local consensus of the concerned pixel regarding its neighbors and could also tell whether a pixel is noise free or impulsive. Therefore, LCI can be directly used as an efficient indicator of impulse noise. Furthermore, to improve the performance of impulse noise detection, different strategies are applied to the pixels at flat regions and the ones with complex textures, since distributions of LCI value within those regions are totally different. As for impulse noise filtering, a hybrid graph Laplacian regularization (HGLR) method is introduced to restore the intensities of those pixels degraded by impulse noise. We conduct extensive experiments to verify the effectiveness of our impulsive noise detection and reduction method, and the results show that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art techniques in terms of impulse detection and noise removal. Stock forecasting research, which aims to predict the future price movement of stocks, has been the focus of investors and scholars. This is important for practical applications related to human-centric computing and information sciences. Previous research has generally only considered market information other than the relationship between stocks, and it is challenging to learn a better representation of stock characteristics by considering the relationship between stocks. In the existing methods of combining market information with stock relationship modeling, most of them use predefined industry relationships to construct stock relationship diagrams, which inevitably ignores the potential interactions between stocks, especially the hidden relationships between stock groups. To this end, a new dual-graph attention model (MF-DAT) based on multisource information fusion is designed. Specifically, first, multiple features are fused by the LMF module, then the long-term and short-term state characteristics of stocks are learned through the first layer of the graph attention layer, and finally the node representation of the stock relationship network constructed by the mining stock cluster structure through community detection is updated. Our model takes into account both stock time-series information and potential relationships between stocks. In a dynamic network, the characteristics of local nodes include first and higher-order proximity among the nodes as well as different attributes attached to each node. This complexity impose significant challenge for dynamic network modeling. As a result, few dynamic network studies have considered high-order proximity among local nodes. In this paper, we adopt the network embedding method to map high-order proximity of local nodes into low-dimensional, dense and real-valued vectors. Morevoer, we incorporate it into a model-based evolutionary clustering method through regularity conditions. Such a unified framework can increase the effectiveness and robustness of dynamic community detection while pertaining a good explanatory and visualization ability. Experiments based on synthetic and real world data sets show that our model can produce better community detection results than other popular models such as DECS and Genlouvain in dense networks. Alongside advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), significant progress has been made in big data processing, edge/cloud computing, and ubiquitous computing in the past two decades. These advancements catalyzed the development and adoption of Digital Twins (DT) across various domains, serving as virtual replicas of Physical Objects (POs). DTs provide advanced visualization and simulation capabilities, enabling effective estimation, optimization, and forecasting of PO's behaviors. However, the widespread adoption of DTs has introduced various security threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks. Despite ongoing research in DT applications and security, there is a lack of systematic review of the DT security literature across domains and architectural layers. This study fills this gap by systematically reviewing DT research, focusing on three interrelated aspects: DT applications, architectural layers, and security. We explore DT's architectural layers, functional requirements, application, and creation software to identify potential threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities specific to DT layers and application domains. We then systematize our findings under a unified security framework and pinpoint countermeasures against identified security challenges. Negation operation is important in intelligent information processing. Different existing arithmetic negation, an exponential negation is presented in this paper. The new negation can be seen as a kind of geometry negation. Some basic properties of the proposed negation are investigated, and we find that the fix point is the uniform probability distribution, which reaches the maximum entropy. The proposed exponential negation is an entropy increase operation, and all the probability distributions will converge to the uniform distribution after multiple negation iterations. The convergence speed of the proposed negation is also faster than the existed negation. The number of iterations of convergence is inversely proportional to the number of elements in the distribution. Internet of Things (IoT) has become a vital part of our infrastructure to enrich lives and make processes easier. In these people-centric IoT applications, massive personal data are collected in real-time and stored by the resource constrained sensor network. Because any misusage of these personal data might result in the leakage of privacy and economic losses, it is expected that the data requesters can only access to the data what they have purchased, or are entitled to use. How to accurately control data access permissions is one of the prerequisites for IoT data protection. Based on a revised one-way hash chain technique, we proposed a novel Time-based Access Control (TAC) scheme for multi-attribute data in Internet of Things. All the data are partitioned into 2-D subspaces representing generation time and data attribute. Data in each subspace is encrypted with the corresponding sub-key before its transmission to the base station to achieve data privacy and access control. Anyone who wants to read or use data with specified attribute at a particular time must get the corresponding sub-key from the data source node or the owner. TAC can generate a sub-key for data in each subspace in an efficient manner in terms of less sub-key generation time and low memory space usage. We proposed three improved schemes to further reduce sub-key computation time according to different application scenarios. Delta compression, as a complementary technique for data deduplication, has gained widespread attention in network storage systems. It can eliminate redundant data between non‐duplicate but similar chunks that cannot be identified by data deduplication. The network transmission overhead between servers and clients can be greatly reduced by using data deduplication and delta compression techniques. Resemblance detection is a technique that identifies similar chunks for post‐deduplication delta compression in network storage systems. The existing resemblance detection approaches fail to detect similar chunks with arbitrary similarity by setting a similarity threshold, which can be suboptimal. In this paper, the authors propose Chunk2vec, a resemblance detection scheme for delta compression that utilizes deep learning techniques and Approximate Nearest Neighbour Search technique to detect similar chunks with any given similarity range. Chunk2vec uses a deep neural network, Sentence‐BERT, to extract an approximate feature vector for each chunk while preserving its similarity with other chunks. The experimental results on five real‐world datasets indicate that Chunk2vec improves the accuracy of resemblance detection for delta compression and achieves higher compression ratio than the state‐of‐the‐art resemblance detection technique. In this paper, we propose a dynamic object elimination algorithm that combines semantic and geometric constraints to address the problem of visual SLAM being easily affected by dynamic feature points in dynamic environments. This issue leads to the degradation of localisation accuracy and robustness. Firstly, we employ a lightweight YOLO-Tiny network to enhance both detection accuracy and system speed. Secondly, we integrate the YOLO-Tiny network into the ORB-SLAM3 system to extract semantic information from the images and initiate the elimination of dynamic feature points. Subsequently, we augment this approach by incorporating geometric constraints between neighbouring frames to further eliminate dynamic feature points. Then, the former is supplemented by combining the geometric constraints between neighbouring frames to further eliminate dynamic feature points. Experiments on the TUM dataset demonstrate that the algorithm in this paper can improve the Relative Pose Error (RPE) by up to 95.12% and the Absolute Trajectory Error (ATE) by up to 99.01% in high dynamic sequences compared to ORB-SLAM3. Color information plays an important role in the color image segmentation and real-time color sensor, which affects the result of video image segmentation and correct real-time temperature value. In this paper, a novel real-time color image segmentation method is proposed, which is based on color similarity in RGB color space. According to the color and luminance information in RGB color space, the dominant color is determined at first, and then color similarity can be calculated with the proposed calculation method of color component, which creates a color-class map. Next, the information of the corresponding color-class map is utilized to classify the pixels. Due to the characteristic that thermal inks feature color values that change in real time as the temperature changes, the segmentation results of thermal ink can be used as a real-time color sensor. Then, we also propose a method of color correction and light source compensation for the sake of potential inaccuracy of its measures. We discuss the proposed segmentation method application combining with color sensor (thermal ink) in real-time color image segmentation for Cyber physical system (CPS) by the application in fire detection and summarize a new method in identifying fire in a video based on these characteristics. Pervasive sensing devices make an unprecedented increase in data sensing, collection, and processing in edge network and they form the edge content server system. The edge content server system combines the content-centric network (CCN) to form a huge content propagation system which makes it challenging to achieve efficient content propagation. Different from IP-based, host-oriented Internet architecture, the CCN systems focus on the information that is contained in network and directly accessible, providing more secure and flexible Internet services. This emerging network architecture supports a number of novel applications, such as common interests sharing, mobile data offloading, and information dissemination without Internet access. In this paper, an analytical framework is proposed to address the problem of content propagation among users with the same interests in leveraging location-based social networks, where the check-in patterns of users are recorded. Particularly, we propose a content propagation effectiveness quantitative model that considers the distance between users, users’ interests, and contact rates to formulate the propagation effect and latency. We also apply our framework to two real-world datasets for the evaluation of its effectiveness. Compared with previous studies, our simulated annealing-based algorithm can greatly improve the effects by as much as 25.4%–65.6%, and the contents can be disseminated faster by about 24.6%–57.8%. With the development of the drying rack system, users with limited time tend to use the fully functional drying rack system to realize various intelligent control functions. However, the existing control methods for drying rack system has some defects such as, low intelligence and system delay, which are unsuitable for most users. In this paper, an efficient intelligent control algorithm based on the back‐propagation (BP) neural network is proposed. In this system, STM32F103 is first utilized as the central controller and multiple sensors are used to collect environmental information. Then, the remote control, voice keywords, and buttons can be used to achieve intelligent control. Subsequently, a motor drive intelligence control algorithm based on the BP neural network (MCBP) is proposed to improve the accuracy of the intelligent control. Next, an Application (APP) that can display environmental data such as wind speed, temperature, and humidity is developed. The APP can realize various intelligent control functions such as lifting, panning, rotating, and harvesting. Finally, MCBP is compared with normal control and programmable logic controller control. The accuracy of the MCBP is higher than other two control methods. The final extensive experiments confirm the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed intelligent control algorithm. Millions of dedicated sensors are deployed in smart cities to enhance quality of urban living. Communication technologies are critical for connecting these sensors and transmitting events to sink. In control systems of mobile wireless sensor networks (MWSNs), mobile nodes are constantly moving to detect events, while static nodes constitute the communication infrastructure for information transmission. Therefore, how to communicate with sink quickly and effectively is an important research issue for control systems of MWSNs. In this paper, a communication scheme named first relay node selection based on fast response and multihop relay transmission with variable duty cycle (FRAVD) is proposed. The scheme can effectively reduce the network delay by combining first relay node selection with node duty cycles setting. In FRAVD scheme, first, for the first relay node selection, we propose a strategy based on fast response, that is, select the first relay node from adjacent nodes in the communication range within the shortest response time, and guarantee that the remaining energy and the distance from sink of the node are better than the average. Then for multihop data transmission of static nodes, variable duty cycle is introduced novelty, which utilizes the residual energy to improve the duty cycle of nodes in far-sink area, because nodes adopt a sleep-wake asynchronous mode, increasing the duty cycle can significantly improve network performance in terms of delays and transmission reliability. Our comprehensive performance analysis has demonstrated that compared with the communication scheme with fixed duty cycle, the FRAVD scheme reduces the network delay by 24.17%, improves the probability of finding first relay node by 17.68%, while also ensuring the network lifetime is not less than the previous researches, and is a relatively efficient low-latency communication scheme. Cyber physical systems (CPS) is a tightly coupled integration and interaction between computational and physical components. In many cases, information collection in CPS is provided through a group of distributed sensors and all of them change continuously with time. Thus the sensor information is usually in the form of time series. One particularly interesting application in time series analysis is use of complex networks to represent and study behaviors of system. Complex networks has been playing an important role for analyzing complex systems as it helps understanding the topology structure of systems with different interacting units. In this paper, we proposed a reliable method for constructing complex networks from multivariate time series (MTSs) in the cases of single and multisensor based on information geometry theory, which allows the information in the time series to be extracted by analyzing the associated complex network. We first estimate covariance matrices and then a geodesic-based distance between the covariance matrices is introduced. Consequently, the network can be constructed on a Riemannian manifold where the nodes and edges correspond to the covariance matrix and the geodesic-based distance, respectively. The proposed method provides us with a nonlinear relationship and intrinsic geometry viewpoint to understand the MTSs and also an alternative approach to fuse, model, represent, and visualize the multisensor data in CPS. A number of experimental studies and numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the generality and the effectiveness of our approach with both synthetic and real datasets. Collecting and analyzing data from all devices to improve the efficiency of business processes is an important task of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). In the age of data explosion, extensive text data generated by the IIoT have given birth to a variety of text representation methods. The task of text representation is to convert the natural language to a form that computer can understand with retaining the original semantics. However, these methods are difficult to effectively extract the semantic features among words and distinguish polysemy in natural language. Combining the advantages of convolutional neural network (CNN) and variational autoencoder (VAE), this paper proposes an intelligent CNN-VAE text representation algorithm as an advanced learning method for social big data within next-generation IIoT, which help users identify the information collected by sensors and perform further processing. This method employs the convolution layer to capture the local features of the context and uses the variational technique to reconstruct feature space to make it conform to the normal distribution. In addition, the improved word2vec model based on topical word embedding (TWE) is utilized to add topical information to word vectors to distinguish polysemy. This paper takes the social big data as an example to illustrate the way of the proposed algorithm applied in the next-generation IIoT and utilizes Cnews dataset to verify the performance of proposed method with four evaluating metrics (i.e., recall, accuracy, precision, and F1-score). Experimental results indicate that the proposed method outperforms word2vec-avg and CNN-AE in K-nearest neighbor (KNN), random forest (RF), and support vector machine (SVM) classifiers and distinguishes polysemy effectively. Most genetic operators use random mating selection strategy and fixed rate crossover operator to solve various optimization problems. In order to improve the convergence and diversity of the algorithm, an adaptive adjacent maximum distance crossover operator is proposed in this paper. A new mating selection strategy (distance-based mating selection strategy) and an adaptive mechanism (adaptive crossover strategy based on population convergence) are adopted. Distance-based mating selection strategy purposefully selects parents to produce better offspring. Adaptive crossover strategy based on population convergence increases the convergence speed of the algorithm by controlling the crossover probability. The proposed crossover strategy is evaluated on the simulated binary crossover operators of non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II and multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition. The performance of the algorithm is verified on a series of standard test problems. Finally, the optimization results of the improved algorithm using adaptive adjacent maximum distance crossover operator and the standard algorithm are compared and analyzed. Natural language processing (NLP) technology has played a pivotal role in health monitoring as an important artificial intelligence method. As a key technology in NLP, relation triplet extraction is closely related to the performance of health monitoring. In this paper, a novel model is proposed for joint extraction of entities and relations, combining conditional layer normalization with the talking-head attention mechanism to strengthen the interaction between entity recognition and relation extraction. In addition, the proposed model utilizes position information to enhance the extraction accuracy of overlapping triplets. Experiments on the Baidu2019 and CHIP2020 datasets demonstrate that the proposed model can effectively extract overlapping triplets, which leads to significant performance improvements compared with baselines. This paper aims to develop a low-cost, high-performance and high-reliability computing system to process large-scale data using common data mining algorithms in the Internet of Things (IoT) computing environment. Considering the characteristics of IoT data processing, similar to mainstream high performance computing, we use a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) cluster to achieve better IoT services. Firstly, we present an energy consumption calculation method (ECCM) based on WSNs. Then, using the CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) Programming model, we propose a Two-level Parallel Optimization Model (TLPOM) which exploits reasonable resource planning and common compiler optimization techniques to obtain the best blocks and threads configuration considering the resource constraints of each node. The key to this part is dynamic coupling Thread-Level Parallelism (TLP) and Instruction-Level Parallelism (ILP) to improve the performance of the algorithms without additional energy consumption. Finally, combining the ECCM and the TLPOM, we use the Reliable GPU Cluster Architecture (RGCA) to obtain a high-reliability computing system considering the nodes' diversity, algorithm characteristics, etc. The results show that the performance of the algorithms significantly increased by 34.1%, 33.96% and 24.07% for Fermi, Kepler and Maxwell on average with TLPOM and the RGCA ensures that our IoT computing system provides low-cost and high-reliability services. As an important branch of secure multi-party computation, the geometric problem can solve practical problems in the military, national defense, finance, life, and other fields, and has important research significance. In this paper, we study the similarity problem of geometric graphics. First, this paper proposes the adjacency matrix vector coding method of isomorphic graphics, and use the Paillier variant encryption cryptography to solve the problem of isomorphic graphics confidentiality under the semi-honest model. Using cryptography tools such as elliptic curve cryptosystem, zero-knowledge proof, and cut-choose method, this paper designs a graphic similarity security decision protocol that can resist malicious adversary attacks. This paper considers the distributed access and control problem of massive wireless sensor networks' data access center for the Internet of Things, which is an extension of wireless sensor networks and an element of its topology structure. In the context of the arrival of massive service access requests at a virtual data center, this paper designs a massive sensing data access and control mechanism to improve the access efficiency of service requests and makes full use of the available resources at the data access center for the Internet of things. Firstly, this paper proposes a synergistically distributed buffer access model, which separates the information of resource and location. Secondly, the paper divides the service access requests into multiple virtual groups based on their characteristics and locations using an optimized self-organizing feature map neural network. Furthermore, this paper designs an optimal scheduling algorithm of group migration based on the combination scheme between the artificial bee colony algorithm and chaos searching theory. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate that this mechanism outperforms the existing schemes in terms of enhancing the accessibility of service requests effectively, reducing network delay, and has higher load balancing capacity and higher resource utility rate. Emerging Internet-of-Everything (IoE) services require connected devices to respond instantly and operate for long durations. As smart mobile devices (SMDs) are often powered by batteries of limited capacity, offloading some computational tasks to nearby edge servers is a promising solution to reduce the latency and energy consumption of SMDs in operation. However, a challenge of computation offloading in the IoE system is the large number of SMDs that need to be handled. To address this problem, in this paper, we propose an intelligent two-stage computation offloading scheme with multiple optimization objectives. In the first stage, we categorize the computation tasks into classes (e.g., computation-intensive, data-intensive) and make early offloading decisions on some classes of tasks with offloading preferences. In the second stage, we make offloading decisions on the remaining tasks by solving a multi-objective optimization problem using the powerful Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II). This two-stage design can help reduce the size of task instances in the second optimization stage, thus accelerating the convergence of the NSGA-II algorithm. With the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT), the Federated Edge Learning (FEL), a promising computing framework is developing. However, there are still unsolved issues on communication efficiency and data security due to the huge models and unreliable transmission links. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel federated edge learning system, called LightFed, where the edge nodes upload only vital partial local models, and successfully achieve lightweight communication and model aggregation. First, a novel model aggregation method Model Splitting and Splicing (MSS) and a Selective Parameter Transmission (SPT) scheme are proposed. By detecting the updating gradients of local parameters and filtering significant parameters, selective rotated transmission and efficient aggregation of local models are achieved. Second, a Training Filling Model (TFM) is proposed to infer the total data distribution of edge nodes, and train a filling model to mitigate the unbalanced training data without violating the data privacy of individual users. Moreover, a blockchain-powered confusion transmission mechanism is proposed for defending the attacks from external adversaries and protecting the model information. Finally, extensive experimental results demonstrate that our LightFed significantly outperforms the existing FEL systems in terms of communication efficiency and privacy security. Network-accessible task offloading is for low latency; offline task offloading is for low cost. Offline devices cannot directly access service nodes due to lack of resources. Accordingly, the latter involves more steps and optimization variables such as: where to offload tasks, how to allocate computation resources, how to adjust offloading ratio and transmit power, and such optimization variables and hybrid combination features are highly coupled with each other. In this paper, we first formulate a Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming Problem (MINLP) for such task offloading under energy and delay constraints. Furthermore, we decompose it into two subproblems so as to efficiently solve the formulated MINLP, and design a low-cost and low-complexity Joint Optimization for Energy Consumption and Task Processing Delay (JOET) algorithm to optimize selection decisions, resource allocation, offloading ratio and transmit power adjustment. We carry out extensive simulation experiments to validate JOET. Simulation results demonstrate that JOET outperforms many representative existing schemes in quickly converge and effective reduction of energy consumption and delay. Specifically, the average energy consumption and the average delay have been reduced by 15.93% and 13.70%, respectively, and the load balancing efficiency has increased by 10.20%. The number of Vehicle Equipment (VE) connected to the Internet is increasing, and these VEs generate tasks that contain large amounts of data. Processing these tasks requires a lot of computing resources. Therefore, it is a promising issue that offloading compute-intensive tasks from resource-limited vehicles to Vehicular Edge Computing (VEC) servers, which involves big data transmission, processing and computation. In a network, multiple providers provide VEC servers. When a vehicle generates a task, our goal is to make an intelligent decision on whether and when to offload this task to VEC servers to minimize the task completion time and total big data processing time. When each vehicle passes VEC servers, the vehicle can decide to offload its task to the VEC server in the current communication range, or continue to drive until it reaches the next server's communication range. This issue can be considered as an asset selling problem. It is a challenging issue to make a smart decision for the vehicle with a location view because the vehicle is not sure when the next VEC server will be available and how much about the available computing capacity of the next VEC server. Firstly, this paper formulates the problem as a Markov Decision Process (MDP), defines and analyzes the state set, action set, reward model, and state transition probability distribution. Then it uses Asynchronous Advantage Actor-Critic (A3C) algorithm to solve this MDP problem, builds the various elements of the A3C algorithm, uses Actor (the strategy function) to generate two actions of the vehicle: offloading and moving without offloading. Thirdly, it uses Critic (the value function) to evaluate Actor's behavior, and guide Actor's actions in subsequent stages. The Actor starts from the initial state in the state space until it enters the termination state, forming a complete decision-making process. It minimizes the completion time of task offloading through learning thereby reducing the delay of big data processing. Epilepsy is a common neurological disease worldwide, characterized by recurrent seizures. There is currently no cure for epilepsy. However, seizures can be controlled by drugs and surgeries in about 70% of epileptic patients. A timely and accurate prediction of seizures can prevent injuries during seizures and improve the patients' quality of life. In this paper, we proposed an intelligent epileptic prediction system based on Synchrosqueezed Wavelet Transform (SWT) and Multi-Level Feature Convolutional Neural Network (MLF-CNN) for smart healthcare IoT network. In this system, we used SWT to map EEG signals to the frequency domain, which was able to measure the energy changes in EEG signals caused by seizures within a well-defined Time-Frequency (TF) plane. MLF-CNN was then applied to extract multi-level features from the processed EEG signals and classify the different seizure segments. The performance of our proposed system was evaluated with the publicly available CHB-MIT dataset and our private ZJU4H dataset. The system achieved an accuracy of 96.99% and 94.25%, a sensitivity of 96.48% and 97.76%, a specificity of 97.46% and 94.07% and a false prediction rate (FPR/h) of 0.031 and 0.049 FPR/h on the CHB-MIT dataset and the ZJU4H dataset, respectively. A new trend in long-range biometrics, gait recognition, is finding application in a number of different fields including video surveillance. Recently, with the increase in robustness of the pose estimator and the presence of various unpredictable factors in realistic gait recognition, skeleton-based methods with higher robustness have emerged to better meet the challenging gait recognition needs. However, existing approaches primarily focus on extracting global skeletal features, neglecting the intricate motion information of local body parts and overlooking inter-limb relationships. Our solution to these challenges is the dynamic local fusion network (GaitDLF), a novel gait neural network for complex environments that includes a detail-aware stream in addition to the previous direct extraction of global skeleton features, which provides an enhanced representation of gait features. To extract discriminative local motion information, we introduce predefined body part assignments for each joint in the skeletal structure. By segmenting and mapping the overall skeleton based on these limb site divisions, limb-level motion features can be obtained. In addition, we will dynamically fuse the motion features from different limbs and enhance the motion feature representation of each limb by global context information and local context information of the limb-level motion features. The ability to extract gait features between individuals can be improved by aggregating local motion features from different body parts. Based on experiments on CASIA-B, Gait3D, and GREW, we show that our model extracts more comprehensive gait features than the state-of-the-art skeleton-based method, demonstrating that our method is better suited to detecting gait in complex environments in the wild than the appearance-based method. To address these issues, in this paper, we propose SG-PBFT (Score Grouping-PBFT), a secure and efficient distributed consensus algorithm for blockchain applications in the IoV. The distributed structure can reduce the pressure on the central server and decrease the risk of single-node attacks. The SG-PBFT consensus algorithm improves the traditional practical Byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT) consensus algorithm by optimizing the PBFT consensus process and using a score grouping mechanism to achieve a higher consensus efficiency. The experimental results show that the method can greatly improve the consistency efficiency and effectively prevent single-node attacks. Specifically, when the number of consensus nodes reaches 1000, the consensus time of our algorithm is only about 27% of what is required for the state-of-the-art PBFT consensus algorithm. Knowledge graphs are large graph-structured knowledge bases with incomplete or partial information. Numerous studies have focused on knowledge graph embedding to identify the embedded representation of entities and relations, thereby predicting missing relations between entities. Previous embedding models primarily regard (subject entity, relation, and object entity) triplet as translational distance or semantic matching in vector space. However, these models only learn a few expressive features and hard to handle complex relations, i.e., 1-to-N, N-to-1, and N-to-N, in knowledge graphs. To overcome these issues, we introduce a multi-scale dynamic convolutional network (M-DCN) model for knowledge graph embedding. This model features topnotch performance and an ability to generate richer and more expressive feature embeddings than its counterparts. The subject entity and relation embeddings in M-DCN are composed in an alternating pattern in the input layer, which helps extract additional feature interactions and increase the expressiveness. Multi-scale filters are generated in the convolution layer to learn different characteristics among input embeddings. Specifically, the weights of these filters are dynamically related to each relation to model complex relations. The performance of M-DCN on the five benchmark datasets is tested via experiments. Privacy-preserving data aggregation in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) with mobile nodes is a challenging problem, as an accurate aggregation result should be derived in a privacy-preserving manner, under the condition that nodes are mobile and have no pre-specified keys for cryptographic operations. In this paper, we focus on the SUM aggregation function and propose two privacy-preserving data aggregation protocols for two-tiered sensor networks with mobile nodes: Privacy-preserving Data Aggregation against non-colluded Aggregator and Sink (PDAAS) and Privacy-preserving Data Aggregation against Colluded Aggregator and Sink (PDACAS). Both protocols guarantee that the sink can derive the SUM of all raw sensor data but each sensor's raw data is kept confidential. In PDAAS, two keyed values are used, one shared with the sink and the other shared with the aggregator. PDAAS can protect the privacy of sensed data against external eavesdroppers, compromised sensor nodes, the aggregator or the sink, but fails if the aggregator and the sink collude. In PDACAS, multiple keyed values are used in data perturbation, which are not shared with the aggregator or the sink. PDACAS can protect the privacy of sensor nodes even the aggregator and the sink collude, at the cost of a little more overhead than PDAAS. With the fast development of cloud computing and wide application of cloud storage, the energy efficiency of cloud storage system is drawing significant attention from researchers or specialists. For the typical Dynamo cloud storage system, we design a new policy instead of the consistent hashing policy which is a combination of consistent hashing and sequential policy. The basic idea of this policy is that it divides the nodes into groups and allows each other to be mirror modes so it can find the full coverage subset of data items easily. Also we use autoregressive-moving-average model to estimate the task numbers of servers so that when under low utilization period, certain numbers of servers can be turned off to save energy. Based on the model, we demonstrate that it can save up to 23.7 % energy and maintain load balancing of servers. Furthermore, we compare our policy with Heuristic which is a classical energy conservation policy for cloud storage system that is based on consistent hash table. Simple Summary: Visual identification of cattle in a realistic farming environment is helpful for real-time cattle monitoring. Based on continuous cattle detection, identification, and behavior recognition, it is possible to utilize cameras on farms within company or government networks to provide the services of production supervision, early disease detection, and animal science research for precision livestock farming. However, cattle identification in the wild is still a difficult problem due to the high similarities of different identities and the variances of the same identity as posture or perspective changes. Our proposed method based on deep convolutional neural networks and deep metric learning provides a promising approach for cattle identification and paves the way toward continuous monitoring of cattle in a nearly natural state. Visual identification of cattle in the wild provides an essential way for real-time cattle monitoring applicable to precision livestock farming. Chinese Simmental exhibit a yellow or brown coat with individually characteristic white stripes or spots, which makes a biometric identifier for identification possible. This work employed the observable biometric characteristics to perform cattle identification with an image from any viewpoint. We propose multi-center agent loss to jointly supervise the learning of DCNNs by SoftMax with multiple centers and the agent triplet. We reformulated SoftMax with multiple centers to reduce intra-class variance by offering more centers for feature clustering. Then, we utilized the agent triplet, which consisted of the features and the agents, to enforce separation among different classes. As there are no datasets for the identification of cattle with multi-view images, we created CNSID100, consisting of 11,635 images from 100 Chinese Simmental identities. Our proposed loss was comprehensively compared with several well-known losses on CNSID100 and OpenCows2020 and analyzed in an engineering application in the farming environment. It was encouraging to find that our approach outperformed the state-of-the-art models on the datasets above. Cryptography chips are often used in some applications, such as smart grids and Internet of Things (IoT) to ensure their security. Cryptographic chips must be strictly tested to guarantee the correctness of the encryption and decryption. Scan-based design-for-testability (DFT) provides high test quality. However, it can also be misused to steal the cipher key of cryptographic chips by hackers. In this article, we present a new scan design methodology that can resist scan-based side-channel attacks by the dynamical obfuscation of scan input data and scan output data. The scan test is managed by a test password, which consists of load password and scan password. When the chip enters into the test mode, it is required to apply the test password via some external input ports. Once the correct load password is delivered, the scan password can be loaded into a special shift register. If the scan password is also correct, the chip testing can proceed normally. In case the load password or the scan password is wrong, the data in scan chains cannot be propagated correctly. Specifically, some elusory bits are sneaked into scan chains dynamically. The advantage of the proposed method is that it has no negative impact on design performance and test flow when powerfully protecting cryptographic chips. Relational triple extraction is a critical step in knowledge graph construction. Compared to pipeline-based extraction, joint extraction is gaining more attention because it can better utilize entity and relation information without causing error propagation issues. Yet, the challenge with joint extraction lies in handling overlapping triples. Existing approaches adopt sequential steps or multiple modules, which often accumulate errors and interfere with redundant data. In this study, we propose an innovative joint extraction model with cross-attention mechanism and global pointers with context shield window. Specifically, our methodology begins by inputting text data into a pre-trained RoBERTa model to generate word vector representations. Subsequently, these embeddings are passed through a modified cross-attention layer along with entity type embeddings to address missing entity type information. Next, we employ the global pointer to transform the extraction problem into a quintuple extraction problem, which skillfully solves the issue of overlapping triples. It is worth mentioning that we design a context shield window on the global pointer, which facilitates the identification of correct entities within a limited range during the entity extraction process. Finally, the capability of our model against malicious samples is improved by adding adversarial training during the training process. Social recommender systems (SRS) aim to study how social relations influence users' choices and how to use them for better learning users embeddings. However, the diversity of social relationships, which is instructive to the propagation of social influence, has been rarely explored. In this paper, we propose a graph convolutional network based representation learning method, namely multi-perspective social recommendation (MPSR), to construct hierarchical user preferences and assign friends' influences with different levels of trust from varying perspectives. We further utilize the attributes of items to partition and excavate users' explicit preferences and employ complementary perspective modeling to learn implicit preferences of users. To measure the trust degree of friends from different perspectives, the statistical information of users' historical behavior is utilized to construct multi-perspective social networks. Experimental results on two public datasets of Yelp and Ciao demonstrate that the MPSR significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art methods. In recent years, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) has gradually attracted the attention of the industry owing to its accurate time synchronization, communication accuracy, and high adaptability. As an important data structure, graphs are widely used in IIoT applications, where entities and their relationships can be expressed in the form of graphs. With the widespread adoption of IIoT and cloud computing, an increasing number of individuals or organizations are outsourcing their IIoT graph data to cloud servers to enjoy the unlimited storage space and fast computing service. To protect the privacy of graph data, graphs are usually encrypted before being outsourced. In this article, we propose a search pattern privacy system for approximate shortest distance query of encrypted graphs in IIoT. To realize search pattern privacy, we adopt two noncolluded cloud servers to accomplish different tasks. We leverage the first server to store the encrypted data and perform query operations, and use the second one to rerandomize the contents and shuffle the locations of the queried records. Before queries, we generate the trapdoors by using different random numbers. After queries, we ask the second server to rerandomize the contents of the records that the first server touched. In addition, we shuffle the physical locations of original records by inserting some fake records. In this way, all contents and physical locations of the touched records change, so that the first server cannot distinguish whether two queries are the same or not. To enhance the efficiency on the user side, we further improve this system by moving some heavy workloads from the user to the cloud. Internet of Things (IoT) realizes the interconnection of heterogeneous devices by the technology of wireless and mobile communication. The data of target regions are collected by widely distributed sensing devices and transmitted to the processing center for aggregation and analysis as the basis of IoT. The quality of IoT services usually depends on the accuracy and integrity of data. However, due to the adverse environment or device defects, the collected data will be anomalous. Therefore, the effective method of anomaly detection is the crucial issue for guaranteeing service quality. Deep learning is one of the most concerned technology in recent years which realizes automatic feature extraction from raw data. In this article, the integrated model of the convolutional neural network (CNN) and recurrent autoencoder is proposed for anomaly detection. Simple combination of CNN and autoencoder cannot improve classification performance, especially, for time series. Therefore, we utilize the two-stage sliding window in data preprocessing to learn better representations. Based on the characteristics of the Yahoo Webscope S5 dataset, raw time series with anomalous points are extended to fixed-length sequences with normal or anomaly label via the first-stage sliding window. Then, each sequence is transformed into continuous time-dependent subsequences by another smaller sliding window. The preprocessing of the two-stage sliding window can be considered as low-level temporal feature extraction, and we empirically prove that the preprocessing of the two-stage sliding window will be useful for high-level feature extraction in the integrated model. After data preprocessing, spatial and temporal features are extracted in CNN and recurrent autoencoder for the classification in fully connected networks. The recommendation systems in the online platforms often suffer from the rating data sparseness and information overload issues. Previous studies on this topic often leverage review information to construct an accurate user/item latent factor. To address this issue, we propose a novel confidence-aware recommender model via review representation learning and historical rating behavior in this article. It is motived that ratings are consistent with reviews in terms of user preferences, and reviews often contain misleading comments (e.g., fake good reviews, fake bad reviews). To this end, the interaction latent factor of user and item in the framework is constructed by exploiting review information interactivity. Then, the confidence matrix, which measures the relationship between the rating outliers and misleading reviews, is employed to further improve the model accuracy and reduce the impact of misleading reviews on the model. Furthermore, the loss function is constructed by maximum a posteriori estimation theory. Finally, the mini-batch gradient descent algorithm is introduced to optimize the loss function. Experiments conducted on four real-world datasets empirically demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods. Once defined, the access control policies and regulations would never be changed in a running and state transition process. However, it will give attackers the possibility of discovering vulnerabilities in the system, and the control systems lack the ability of dynamic perception of security state and risk, causing the systems to be exposed to risks. In this article, a dynamic Bell–LaPadula (BLP) model is proposed. The conditional random field (CRF) is introduced into the BLP model to optimize the rules. First, the model formalizes the security attributes, states of system, transition rules, and constraint models on the basis of the state transition of CRFs. After the historical system access logs are processed as the original dataset, a feature selection method is proposed to extract the requests and current states as feature vectors. Second, this article presents a rules training algorithm based on L-BFGS to implement the study and training of datasets, and then marks the logs in the test set through Viterbi algorithm automatically. On the base of these, a rule generation algorithm is proposed to dynamically adjust the access control rules based on the current security status and events of the system. Third, the security of CRFs-BLP is proved by theoretical analysis. Finally, the validity and accuracy of the model are verified by estimating the value of the precision, recall, and $F1$ -score. Semi-supervised clustering algorithms have several limitations: 1) the computation complexity of them is very high, because calculating the similarity distances of pairs of examples is time-consuming; 2) traditional semi-supervised clustering methods have not considered how to make full use of must-link and cannot-link constraints. In the clustering, the contribution of a few pairwise constraints to the clustering performance is very limited, and some may negatively affect the outcome; and 3) these methods are not effective to handle high dimensional data, especially for time series data. Up to now, few work touched semi-supervised clustering on time series data. To efficiently cluster large-scale time series data, we first tackle contract time series clustering to produce the most accurate clustering results under a contracted time. We propose a semi-supervised time series clustering framework (STSC), which integrates a fast similarity measure and a constraint propagation approach. Based on the proposed framework, two valid semi-supervised clustering algorithms including fssK-means and fssDBSCAN are designed. Copyright infringement adversely affects the interest of copyright holders of images and videos which are uploaded to different websites and peer-to-peer image sharing systems. This paper addresses the problem of detecting copyright infringement so that copyright holders are given due credit for their work. There are several images and videos that are shared every day by millions of users with some amount of modification in images and videos originally uploaded by the copyright holders such as photographers, graphic designers, and video providers. Copyright violators, who are not the original creators of multimedia content modify them using image processing and frame modification techniques such as grayscale conversion, cropping, rotation, frame compression, and frame speed manipulation. Then, upload the tampered images and videos. To address this problem, we propose an IPFS-based (InterPlanetary File System-based) decentralized peer-to-peer image and video sharing platform built on blockchain technology. We use a perceptual hash (pHash) technique to detect copyright violations of multimedia. When multimedia is to be uploaded to the IPFS, the pHash of the same content is determined and checked against existing pHash values in the blockchain network. Similarity with existing pHash values would result in the multimedia being detected as tampered with. Internet of things (IoT) is one of the main application scenarios of 5th generation mobile networks (5G). Along with the rapid development of 5G, IoT terminal devices will create big data. With the development of online learning and distance education, online learners' discussions in forums become increasingly effective to facilitate learning. Superposters, who play a more and more important role in forums, have attracted researchers' close attention. The key to the research is how to identify superposters among a large number of participants. Some studies focus on the network interaction of superposters and some content-related features but neglect the basic quality like language expression that a superposter should possess and the learning-related features like learning collaboration. Based on the analysis of online learning corpus, through network interaction and combination of the different features of N-gram, the paper proposed the superposter identification method based on the three primary features including language expression (L), content quality (C), and social network interaction (S) and the eight secondary features including learning collaboration. The paper applied the method in the real online learning forum corpus for identifying 28 preset superposters, achieving the results of P @ 15 = 1.0 , Avg.P @ 15 = 1.0 , P @ 28 = 0.86 , and Avg.P @ 28 = 0.95. The regulation of fiscal and tax policies is an imperative prerequisite for improving the regional innovation capability. In view of this, an attempt was made to select 31 provinces and cities in China as the research object from 2009 to 2018, to extract the fiscal and tax policy text encouraging innovation of the Chinese provinces and cities based on Python, and analyze their impact on regional innovation capability from both a text data and numerical data perspective. It is noteworthy that most of the provincial fiscal policies just follow the national fiscal policies. Each province does not formulate fiscal and tax policy according to its own unique characteristics. Fiscal policies and regional innovation capability exhibit significant spatial heterogeneity. Based on the results of the dynamic panel data model, it is seen that the R&D input and industrial structure are the main sources of improving innovation capability. The fiscal expenditure for science and technology, fiscal and tax policy text, macro tax burden, business tax (BT), and value-added tax (VAT) have a significant boosting effect on the regional innovation capability. However, the corporate income tax hinders the regional innovation capability. Finally, through the robustness test of invention patents, it is found that the fiscal and tax policy text, macro tax burden, and business tax still have a positive effect on invention patents, but the role of value-added tax has changed from promotion to obstruction, and the corporate income tax has become a significant obstacle on invention patents. This shows that China should build a tax system that promotes fair competition, reduce the tax burden of enterprises, encourage enterprises to conduct independent R&D, and guide enterprises in the evolution from the low-tech to high-tech innovation by improving the tax structure and fiscal technology expenditures. Scheduling is a fundamental factor in managing the network resource of the Internet of things. For IoT systems such as production lines, to operate effectively, it is necessary to find an intelligent management scheme, i.e., schedule, for network resources. In this study, we focus on multiskill resource-constrained project scheduling problem (MS-RCPSP), a combinational optimization problem that has received extensive attention from the research community due to its advantages in network resource management. In recent years, many approaches have been utilized for solving this problem such as genetic algorithm and ant colony optimization. Although these approaches introduce various optimization techniques, premature convergence issue also occurs. Moreover, previous studies have only been verified on simulation data but not on real data of factories. This paper formulated the MS-RCPSP and then proposed a novel algorithm called DEM to solve it. The proposed algorithm was developed based on the differential evolution metaheuristic. Besides, we build the reallocate function to improve the solution quality so that the proposed algorithm converges rapidly to global extremum while also avoiding getting trapped in a local extremum. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, we conduct the experiment on iMOPSE, the simulated dataset used by previous authors in their research studies. In addition, DEM was verified on real dataset supported by a famous textile industry factory. Experimental results on both simulated data and real data show that the proposed algorithm not only finds a better schedule compared with related works but also can reduce the processing time of the production line currently used at the textile industry factory. In recent years, fingerprint authentication systems have been extensively deployed in various applications, including attendance systems, authentications on smartphones, mobile payment authorizations, as well as various safety certifications. However, similar to the other biometric identification technologies, fingerprint recognition is vulnerable to artificial replicas made from cheap materials, such as silicon, gelatin, etc. Thus, it is especially necessary to distinguish whether a given fingerprint is a live or a spoof one prior to such authentication. In order to solve the problems above, a novel local descriptor named Weber local binary descriptor for fingerprint liveness detection (FLD) has been proposed in this paper. The method consists of two components: the local binary differential excitation component that extracts intensity-variance features and the local binary gradient orientation component that extracts orientation features. The co-occurrence probability of the two components is calculated to construct a discriminative feature vector, which is fed into support vector machine (SVM) classifiers. The effectiveness of the proposed method is intuitively analyzed on the image samples and numerically demonstrated by Mahalanobis distance. Experiments are performed on two public databases from FLD competitions from 2011 and 2013. By using Software Defined Network (SDN) technology, senor nodes can get updated program code which can provide new features, so it has received extensive attention. How to effectively spread code to each node fast is a challenge issue in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In this paper, an Adding Active Slot joint Larger Broadcast Radius (AAS-LBR) scheme is proposed for fast code dissemination. The AAS-LBR scheme combines the energy of data collection and code dissemination, making full use of the remaining energy in the far-sink area to increase the active slot and the broadcast radius to speed up the code dissemination. The main contributions of the proposed AAS-LBR scheme are the following: (1) Make full use of the remaining energy of the far sink area to expand the broadcast radius, so that the node broadcasts a longer distance. The wide range of broadcasts makes the number of nodes receiving code more, which speeds up the spread of code dissemination. (2) AAS-LBR uses two improved methods to further reduce the number of broadcasts and speed up the code dissemination: (a) When constructing the broadcast backbone whose nodes dominate all nodes in network and are responsible for broadcasting code, the active slot is added to the next hop node in a pipeline style on the diffusion path, which enables the code dissemination process to continue without pause. Thus, the code can quickly spread to the entire broadcast backbone. (b) For the nodes in the non-broadcast backbone whose nodes are dominated by the broadcast backbone and only for receiving code, an active slot is added coincident with its broadcast backbone’ active slot, which can reduce the time required for code dissemination and reduce the number of broadcasts. A lot of performance analysis and simulation results show that compared to previous schemed, the AAS-LBR scheme can balance energy consumption, the transmission delay can be reduced 43.09–78.69%, the number of broadcasts can be reduced 44.51–86.18% and the energy efficiency is improved by about 24.5%. In energy harvesting wireless sensor networks (EHWSNs), the energy tension of the network can be relieved by obtaining the energy from the surrounding environment, but the cost on hardware cannot be ignored. Therefore, how to minimize the cost of energy harvesting hardware to reduce the network deployment cost, and further optimize the network performance, is still a challenging issue in EHWSNs. In this paper, an energy conserving and transmission radius adaptive (ECTRA) scheme is proposed to reduce the cost and optimize the performance of solar-based EHWSNs. There are two main innovations of the ECTRA scheme. Firstly, an energy conserving approach is proposed to conserve energy and avoid outage for the nodes in hotspots, which are the bottleneck of the whole network. The novelty of this scheme is adaptively rotating the transmission radius. In this way, the nodes with maximum energy consumption are rotated, balancing energy consumption between nodes and reducing the maximum energy consumption in the network. Therefore, the battery storage capacity of nodes and the cost on hardware. Secondly, the ECTRA scheme selects a larger transmission radius for rotation when the node can absorb enough energy from the surroundings. The advantages of using this method are: (a) reducing the energy consumption of nodes in near-sink areas, thereby reducing the maximum energy consumption and allowing the node of the hotspot area to conserve energy, in order to prevent the node from outage. Hence, the network deployment costs can be further reduced; (b) reducing the network delay. When a larger transmission radius is used to transmit data in the network, fewer hops are needed by data packet to the sink. After the theoretical analyses, the results show the following advantages compared with traditional method. Firstly, the ECTRA scheme can effectively reduce deployment costs by 29.58% without effecting the network performance as shown in experiment analysis; Secondly, the ECTRA scheme can effectively reduce network data transmission delay by 44–71%; Thirdly, the ECTRA scheme shows a better balance in energy consumption and the maximum energy consumption is reduced by 27.89%; And lastly, the energy utilization rate is effectively improved by 30.09–55.48%. The quality of service (QoS) regarding delay, lifetime and reliability is the key to the application of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Data aggregation is a method to effectively reduce the data transmission volume and improve the lifetime of a network. In the previous study, a common strategy required that data wait in the queue. When the length of the queue is greater than or equal to the predetermined aggregation threshold (Nt) or the waiting time is equal to the aggregation timer (Tt), data are forwarded at the expense of an increase in the delay. The primary coNtributions of the proposed Adaptive Aggregation Routing (AAR) scheme are the following: (a) the senders select the forwarding node dynamically according to the length of the data queue, which effectively reduces the delay. In the AAR scheme, the senders send data to the nodes with a long data queue. The advaNtages are that first, the nodes with a long data queue need a small amouNt of data to perform aggregation; therefore, the transmiTted data can be fully utilized to make these nodes aggregate. Second, this scheme balances the aggregating and data sending load; thus, the lifetime increases. (b) An improved AAR scheme is proposed to improve the QoS. The aggregation deadline (Tt) and the aggregation threshold (Nt) are dynamically changed in the network. In WSNs, nodes far from the sink have residual energy because these nodes transmit less data than the other nodes. In the improved AAR scheme, the nodes far from the sink have a small value of Tt and Nt to reduce delay, and the nodes near the sink are set to a large value of Tt and Nt to reduce energy consumption. Thus, the end to end delay is reduced, a longer lifetime is achieved, and the residual energy is fully used. Simulation results demonstrate that compared with the previous scheme, the performance of the AAR scheme is improved.
