This paper proposes an effective material delivery algorithm to address the challenges associated with Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) material transportation and delivery, which include complex route planning, low detection precision, and hardware limitations. This novel approach integrates the Whale-Swarm Hybrid Algorithm (WSHA) with the APCR-YOLOv8 model to enhance efficiency and accuracy. For path planning, the placement paths are transformed into a Generalized Traveling Salesman Problem (GTSP) to be able to compute solutions. The Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) is improved for balanced global and local searches, combined with an Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm and adaptive weight adjustment to quicken convergence and reduce path costs. For precise placement, the YOLOv8 model is first enhanced by adding the SimAM attention mechanism to the C2f module in the detection head, focusing on target features. Secondly, GhoHGNetv2 using GhostConv is the backbone of YOLOv8 to ensure accuracy while reducing model Params and FLOPs. Finally, a Lightweight Shared Convolutional Detection Head (LSCDHead) further reduces Params and FLOPs through shared convolution. Experimental results show that WSHA reduces path costs by 9.69% and narrows the gap between the best and worst paths by about 34.39%, compared to the Improved Whale Optimization Algorithm (IWOA). APCR-YOLOv8 reduces Params and FLOPs by 44.33% and 34.57%, respectively, with mAP@0.5 increasing from 88.5 to 92.4 and FPS reaching 151.3. This approach can satisfy the requirements for real-time responsiveness while effectively preventing missed, false, and duplicate detections during the inspection of emergency airdrop stations. The calculation of abutment stress has always been the most important topic in safe underground mining and design. In this paper, based on the formation mechanism of abutment stress, combined with the mechanical properties of actual strata and the theory of elastic foundation beams, a structure model of overlying strata with an elastic foundation is established, and a new theoretical calculation method of abutment stress is proposed. The new calculation method takes into account the interaction of the overlying key strata and the effect on the transmission of the front abutment stress and then analyzes the stress patterns of multilayered key strata under the combined action of the bending moment, shear force, and nonuniform load and its transmission to the underlying strata. In addition, based on field observations of panel 10 305 in the Xinglongzhuang coalmine, the influence range, peak position, and variation trend of the front abutment stress before and after breaking of the overlying key strata are studied and verified. The results show that the influence range of the abutment stress remains unchanged after KS1 breaks (eg, from 0 to 180 m), and its peak position shifts forward from 8 to 19 m, while the influence range (0‐180 m) and its peak position (6‐8 m in front of coal wall) remain unchanged after KS2 breaks; the abutment stress decreases, and the maximum decrease is 3.9 MPa in the range of 0‐22 m ahead of the coal wall after KS1 breaks, while the maximum decrease in the abutment stress is 2.1 MPa in the range of 0‐71 m ahead of the coal wall after KS2 breaks. The results of the new calculation method are basically consistent with the field observations and the existing theoretical results, showing that the method has good adaptability and reliability and can provide a new theoretical basis for on‐site design and construction practices. When studying the pressure-relief effect of hard roof blasting and cutting, the roof-cutting position and angle obviously affect the stability of the rock surrounding the gob-side entry (GSE). In this paper, control of the large deformation of rock surrounding the GSE is evaluated on the basis of the overlying structure and pressure-relief principle caused by roof cutting. Moreover, a mechanics model of a three-hinged arch structure (THAS) and a universal distinct element code (UDEC) numerical model with regard to the overlying rock movement were established to study the relationship among the rotation angle of key blocks in the THAS, the width of the roadway and the wall force beside it, and the optimal cutting position and cutting angle to reveal the pressure-relief effect of roof blasting and cutting and its influence on the support stability of the roadway. The results show that the overlying rock can form a stable THAS after roof blasting and cutting and that the wall stress and the coal-wall displacement are small, which indicates that roof blasting and cutting results in obvious pressure relief. The wall force increases with an increase in the rotation angle of the key block and decreases with an increase in the roadway width. Moreover, the optimal roof-cutting position (5 m) and angle (15°) are obtained with the specific mining conditions. Finally, on-site monitoring of the anchor-cable force and support force in panel 5312 of the Jining no. 3 coal mine is used to verify the pressure-relief effect after roof blasting and cutting. The study results can provide a theoretical basis for reasonable technical means and optimization of supporting parameters in field observation and have important application value for roof cutting and pressure relief for GSE retaining (GSER) technology. Both submerged macrophytes (SMs) and artificial macrophytes (AMs) have been widely used to improve water quality in eutrophic water. However, in heavily eutrophic aquatic ecosystems, the purification function of SMs is often restricted by the poor growth state due to competition from algae, while the purification function of AMs is often restricted by the limited carbon source supply for biofilm microbes attached to the AM surface. The objective of this study was to develop a new strategy to increase pollutant removal efficiency (RE) by combining the use of SMs and AMs. Pilot-scale microcosms, including treatments with both SMs and AMs (S&A), only SMs (SO) and only AMs (AO), were established to identify the performance of the new strategy. The results suggest that treatment S&A obtained REs of 88.9% for total nitrogen (TN) and 48.1% for chemical oxygen demand (COD); as comparison, treatments SO and AO obtained REs of 77.4% and 81.2% for TN and REs of −13.7% and 39.0% for COD, respectively. Compared with SO, the S&A treatment benefited SM growth in biomass, leaf chlorophyll concentration and root activity by inhibiting algae growth. In addition, compared with treatment AO, S&A increased the biofilm microbial biomass and the relative abundance of nitrifiers of families Nitrosomonadaceae and Nitrospira attached to AM surfaces. Therefore, by the mutual promotion of SMs and biofilms on AMs, the synergic application of SMs and AMs is a useful strategy for improving TN and COD REs in eutrophic water bodies such as rivers and constructed wetlands. Sediment remediation in eutrophic aquatic ecosystems is imperative, but effective ecological measures are scarce. A pilot-scale trial investigated sediment remediation by the addition of Tubifex tubifex. The results showed that the addition of T. tubifex accelerated sediment organic matter (OM) and nitrogen (N) loss, with averages of 7.7% and 75.1% increased loss (IL) compared to treatments without T. tubifex in the 60-day experiment, respectively. The percentages of the increased in water to the IL in sediment were only 0.6%, 0.21%, 2.1% and 6.3% for NH 4 +-N, NO x −-N, TN and COD, respectively, at the end of the experiment. The absolute abundances of the nitrifying genes AOA and AOB ; the denitrifying genes napA , nirS , nirK , cnorB and nosZ ; and the anaerobic ammonia oxidation gene anammox increased 2.3- to 11.0-fold with the addition of T. tubifex. Therefore, the addition of T. tubifex is an effective strategy for sediment remediation by accelerating OM and N loss in sediment without substantially increasing the water N concentration. • Highly urbanized areas inhibit the biodiversity of zooplankton. • Urbanization causes spatial differences of pollutants in water. • The changes of land use broke the stability of the zooplankton community structure. • Different functional groups have different adaptability to the urban environment. • Zooplankton is an indicator of urbanization and urban water pollution. Urbanization has brought devastating disasters to the species diversity of urban wetlands. However, due to the complexity of the urban environment, the process and causes of urban biodiversity distribution patterns are not clear. In this study, we explored the patterns and formation of spatial differentiation in zooplankton in the context of urbanization by using spatial instead of temporal methods to reveal the urbanization process in the urban intensive Huaihe River Basin. The results showed that the diversity of zooplankton decreased with increasing urbanization level, and the species composition in areas with different urbanization levels was significantly different. At the same time, the water quality of wetlands increased with decreasing urbanization level, which exhibited a significant positive correlation with the species richness of zooplankton. Total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP) and ammonium nitrogen (NH 4 +-N) were the main factors affecting the spatial differentiation pattern of zooplankton. Moreover, the increase in nutrients changed the structure of zooplankton functional groups, while rotifers showed strong resistance to pollution. The inhibition of chromium (Cr) on the density of zooplankton functional groups should not be ignored. The results reveal the spatial differentiation mechanism of zooplankton in the process of urbanization and emphasize the necessity of urban wetland ecological restoration and habitat reconstruction.
