Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) combined with target detection algorithms can enhance the detection of road cracks. In response to the challenges presented by complex crack shapes and textures, small sizes, and highly integrated backgrounds, this article developed a UAV-based road crack target detection algorithm using road crack you only look once (RCYOLO). RCYOLO was composed of a C2f_DySnakeConv (C2f_DSConv) module located in the ninth layer and a simulated attention mechanism (SimAM) module situated above the Spatial Pyramid Pooling--Fast (SPPF), along with a dyhead attention detection head that integrated three types of attention mechanisms. Initially, the C2f_DSConv was proposed to effectively extract tubular features of cracks. Subsequently, the SimAM addressed the issue of target-background fusion, enhancing feature recognition of the targets while suppressing background interference. Finally, the dyhead strategy incorporated three types of attention mechanisms, effectively resolving the issue of small target omissions. Our results showed that on the custom UAV dataset road crack image, which included close-range and long-range images, RCYOLO outperformed the baseline network YOLOv8 by 5.9% in mAP@0.5, 6.5% in recall, and 9.8% in precision. On the public dataset Detection of Objects in Aerial Images, mAP@0.5 also exceeded YOLOv8 by 5.8%, indicating that RCYOLO performed well in other remote sensing image tasks, making this target detection algorithm more suitable for high-altitude photography of crack targets than other mainstream algorithms.

Objective To evaluate the effect of modified nursing shift schedule based on SBAR communication model in perioperative management of patients with early gastric cancer. Methods Totally 100 patients who received endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for early gastric cancer between January and May 2021 were included as the control group, another 100 patients who received ESD for early gastric cancer between August and December 2021 were included as the observation group. The routine nursing shift management was adopted in the control group, and the modified nursing shift schedule based on SBAR communication model was carried out in the observation group. The quality of nursing shift, patient’s satisfaction and nurse’s critical thinking ability were measured and compared between two groups. Results After implementation of modified nursing shift schedule, the quality of nursing shift was improved, and nurses achieved a higher score of The California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory (CCTDI) compared with that before implementation of modified nursing shift schedule (259. 95±38. 60 vs. 228. 68±36. 44, P＜0. 05). The score of satisfaction assessment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (21. 47±2. 96 vs. 7. 39±2. 90, P＜0. 05). Conclusion The modified nursing shift schedule based on SBAR communication model is an effective tool of improve quality of nursing shift, patient’s satisfaction and nurse’s critical thinking ability. Abstract: As exogenous substances, L‐methionine, L‐threonine and L‐lysine were added into the marine sediment to construct marine sediments microbial fuel cells (MSMFCs) and the effects on the anodic electrochemical activity were following investigated. The results show that the addition of the amino acid increases anodic electrochemical activity, and the anode in L‐methionine modified sediment presents better performance than others. The specific capacitance of anode in L‐methionine modified sediment (192.00 F cm−2) is 4.0 times bigger than that of anode in unmodified sediment, generating a maximum current density of 2.560 × 10−4 A cm−2. In their Tafel curves, the anodic exchange current density in the L‐methionine modified sediment (2.14 × 10−6 A cm−2) is 93.04 times higher than that of unmodified anode, which suggests that the electrochemical activity of redox, anti‐polarization ability and electron transfer kinetic activity are improved significantly. The MSMFC with L‐methionine modified sediment generates the higher power densities than the blank (143.2 mW m−2 versus 59.2 mW m−2), and its current also increases by 2.8 times. This demonstrates that L‐methionine provides a practical advantage on the anodic electrochemical and battery performance. Improving the performance of anode is a crucial step for increasing power output of marine sediment microbial fuel cells (SMFCs). A multi-walled carbon nanotube/polyaniline (MWCNTs/PANI) modified anode was prepared by the way of electrochemical deposition and its electrochemical performance is investigated in this paper. Result shows that the wettability of carbon felt becomes better and the number of bacteria (9.52 × 1012 m−2) on anode biofilm is increased respectively, which is 9 times higher than that of the unmodified. The anti-polarization ability of the modified anode increases significantly and its kinetic activity of electron transfer increases 4 times. Its exchange current density is 3.62 × 10−5 A cm−2. The maximum power density of the modified SMFC reaches 527.0 mW m−2, which is 4 times higher than that of the unmodified one. Finally, a novel molecular synergistic mechanisms for the enhanced SMFC is also presented, based on the higher bacteria number, the capacitive performance of PANI, the hydrogen bond interaction and higher conductivity of MWCNTs. This excellent electrochemical performance makes the MWCNTs/PANI composite be a potential choice for higher output SMFC. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Solvent refining of Fushun shale oil with furfural as a solvent extraction agent was investigated. The results showed that raffinate yield decreased with either the increasing of agent/oil mass ratio or reaction temperature; the extract yield increased under the same conditions, while the quality of raffinate oil was better. At agent/oil mass ratio of 3/1, reaction temperature of 60 °C and residence time of 30 min, the raffinate yield was 55.37%, and the extract yield 43.60%. The heavy component from the extract oil was used for blending different grades of asphalt such as heavy-traffic paving asphalt and building asphalt, the light component from the extract oil was used for separation of non-hydrocarbon compounds; a range of light fuel oil was produced through catalytic cracking experiment with the denitrified raffinate oil, the removed nitrogen compounds were also used for separation of nonhydrocarbon compounds. Abstract: An artificial superhydrophobic Poly-p-phenylenebenzobisoxazole (PBO) fiber bundles were designed and prepared using chemical surface modification. Water contact angles as high as 166.3° were achieved. The loading capacities and pressure resistances of these PBO fiber bundle boats were characterized. The highest loading weight of our superhydrophobic boats was more than 9.42g, which was attributed to the air film trapped around the PBO boat surfaces. The depth of the water pressure resistance was about 656.4mm. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
