Aiming at the problems that the surface deformation is complex under the condition of repeated mining of adjacent working faces and the conventional D-InSAR method is easily affected by factors such as time decorrelation and atmospheric delay, this paper takes Dongtan Coal Mine as the research object, and adopts the SBAS-InSAR method to process the 40-scene Sentinel-1A data, the annual average subsidence rate and time series accumulated subsidence of the study area were obtained, and the deformation characteristics were analyzed. The results show that the mining effect of 6303 adjacent working face on the existing working face is significant. Under the mining conditions of adjacent working face, the surface subsidence rate is fast, the scope is wide, and the subsidence basin shape is irregular. The subsidence amount of 6303 working face in the strike and inclination is obviously different, showing the characteristics of asymmetry. InSAR technology can effectively monitor the surface subsidence phenomenon of adjacent mining face, which can provide a reference for the analysis of surface deformation in mining area under similar complex mining conditions.

To improve the dust reduction efficiency of coal seam water injection, two kinds of non-ionic and two kinds of anionic surfactants were selected to study the surface tension and wetting characteristics of monomer and composite surfactant solutions. The synergistic wetting effect of composite surfactant solution on hydrophobic coal is compared and analyzed, the mechanism of synergistic wetting is discussed, and the field test of coal seam water injection is carried out. The wettability experiment of monomer surfactant shows that the wettability of the four surfactants is still gradually enhanced after exceeding the critical micelle (CMC) concentration. The experimental results of synergistic wettability of composite surfactant show that there is a significant synergistic effect between non-ionic surfactant TX-100 and anionic surfactant DSS, and that the synergistic effect gradually increases with the increase of surfactant mass concentration. When the total mass concentration was 1%, the synergistic rate was 60.06% and 132.03%, respectively, compared with TX-100 and DSS monomer solution. The mechanism of synergistic wetting was analyzed based on the principle of interfacial chemistry. It was found that the key reason for the synergistic wetting effect of hydrophobic coal dust was the significant increase of the dissociation rate of surfactant micelles in high concentration composite surfactant solution. The coal seam water injection test was carried out on the fully mechanized excavation face. After adding 1% TX-100: DSS composite surfactant solution for water injection, the dust reduction rate reached 71.04%, which was 43.45% higher than that of adding 0.05% TX-100 solution, indicating that the high concentration composite surfactant has a significant synergistic wetting effect on hydrophobic coal.

Icariin has been shown to promote osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). However, the underlying molecular mechanism by which Icariin regulates osteogenic differentiation needs to be further revealed. The viability of BMSCs was assessed by cell counting kit 8 assay. BMSC osteogenic differentiation ability was evaluated by detecting alkaline phosphatase activity and performing alizarin red S staining. The protein levels of osteogenic differentiation‐related markers, sirtuin 1 (SIRT1), ubiquitin‐specific protease 47 (USP47), and Wnt/β‐catenin‐related markers were determined using western blot. SIRT1 mRNA level was measured using quantitative real‐time PCR. The regulation of USP47 on SIRT1 was confirmed by ubiquitination detection and co‐immunoprecipitation analysis. Icariin could promote BMSC osteogenic differentiation. SIRT1 expression was enhanced by Icariin, and its knockdown suppressed Icariin‐induced BMSC osteogenic differentiation. Moreover, deubiquitinating enzyme USP47 could stabilize SIRT1 protein expression. Besides, SIRT1 overexpression reversed the inhibiting effect of USP47 knockdown on BMSC osteogenic differentiation, and USP47 knockdown also restrained Icariin‐induced BMSC osteogenic differentiation. Additionally, Icariin enhanced the activity of the Wnt/β‐catenin pathway by upregulating SIRT1. Icariin facilitated BMSC osteogenic differentiation via the USP47/SIRT1/Wnt/β‐catenin pathway. Synthetic micro/nanomotors have attracted considerable attention due to their promising potential in the field of biomedicine. Despite their great potential, major micromotors require chemical fuels or complex devices to generate external physical fields for propulsion. Therefore, for future practical medical and environmental applications, Mg-based micromotors that exhibit water-powered movement and thus eliminate the need for toxic fuels, and that display optimal biocompatibility and biodegradability, are attracting attention. In this review, we summarized the recent microarchitectural design of Mg-based micromotors for biomedical applications. We also highlight the mechanism for realizing their water-powered motility. Furthermore, recent biomedical and environmental applications of Mg-based micromotors are introduced. We envision that advanced Mg-based micromotors will have a profound impact in biomedicine. To address the challenge of dust control during dry drilling of underground coal seams, a novel dust-collecting device for micron-size dust was designed and tested. To determine the optimal structural parameters of the dust collector, numerical simulations were employed to investigate the influence of the positions of the dust extraction pipe, slag discharge pipe angle, and cavity diameter on the distributions of the airflow velocity field and the pressure field inside the device. The findings revealed that the best performance was achieved when the dust extraction pipe was positioned in the lower part of the cavity, the angle between the slag discharge pipe and the cavity was 45°, and the cavity diameter was 300 mm. Under these conditions, the average airflow velocity in the dust extraction pipe reached 8.32 m/s, the maximum negative pressure at the pipe's mouth was recorded at 1012.38 Pa, and the velocity of the dusty airflow in the cavity remained below 4.38 m/s. Dust capture performance was evaluated through on-site testing in the Taoyuan Coal Mine. The results demonstrated that using the novel device, the dust suppression rates at the slag discharge port, the connection between the device and the drill pipe, and 6 m from the drill hole on the downwind side increased by 92.5%, 88.5%, and 89.1%, respectively. Chirality correction, asymmetry, ring‐chain tautomerism and hierarchical assemblies are fundamental phenomena in nature. They are geometrically related and may impact the biological roles of a protein or other supermolecules. It is challenging to study those behaviors within an artificial system due to the complexity of displaying these features. Herein, we design an alternating D,L peptide to recreate and validate the naturally occurring chirality inversion prior to cyclization in water. The resulting asymmetrical cyclic peptide containing a 4‐imidazolidinone ring provides an excellent platform to study the ring‐chain tautomerism, thermostability and dynamic assembly of the nanostructures. Different from traditional cyclic D,L peptides, the formation of 4‐imidazolidinone promotes the formation of intertwined nanostructures. Analysis of the nanostructures confirmed the left‐handedness, representing chirality induced self‐assembly. This proves that a rationally designed peptide can mimic multiple natural phenomena and could promote the development of functional biomaterials, catalysts, antibiotics, and supermolecules. However, the sugar moiety limits its further applications because of the necessity of sugar in the hydrogel formation. This work reports a G‐quadruplexes‐based hydrogel consisting of guanine and peptide epitope to form a supramolecular hydrogel in the presence of metal cations. Using the metal ion‐responsive peptide epitope from the ion channel to replace sugar motif at N9 position of guanosine results in a novel nucleopeptide. The results show that the gelation time, the diameter of nanofibers, the anisotropic property, and the mechanical property of the hydrogel can be simply controlled using metal cations. The magnesium and calcium ions direct the alignment of nanofibers to form anisotropic nano‐bundles. The mechanistic studies indicate the formation of G‐quadruplexes in the hydrogel. Compared to the storage modulus of nucleopeptide without the metal cation, adding zinc ions results in an over three‐order increase in mechanical properties. Cytotoxicity experiment indicates the good biocompatibility of our hydrogel. Moreover, we demonstrate that the guanine‐capped peptide could release STING agonist in a controlled manner. In this study, the preparation of covalent polyoxometalate organic frameworks (CPOFs) is introduced using the idea of polyoxometalate and covalent organic frameworks. Firstly, the prepared polyoxometalate was functionalized with an amine group (NH2-POM-NH2), and then the CPOFs were prepared by a solvothermal Schiff base reaction with NH2-POM-NH2 and 2,4,6-trihydroxybenzene-1,3,5-tricarbaldehyde (Tp) as monomers. After the incorporation of PtNPs and MWCNTs into the CPOFs material, the PtNPs-CPOFs-MWCNTs nanocomposites, which possess excellent catalytic activity and electrical conductivity, were formed and utilized as new electrode materials for the electrochemical thymol sensors. The obtained PtNPs-CPOFs-MWCNTs composite exhibits excellent activity toward thymol, which is attributable to its large special surface area, good conductivity and the synergistic catalysis of each component. Under optimal experimental conditions, the sensor presented a good electrochemical response to thymol. The sensor shows two good linear relationships between the current and thymol concentration in the range of 2–65 μM (R2 = 0.996) and 65–810 μM (R2 = 0.997), with the corresponding sensitivity of 72.7 μA mM−1 and 30.5 μA mM−1, respectively. Additionally, the limit of detection (LOD) was calculated to be 0.2 μM (S/N = 3). At the same time, the prepared thymol electrochemical sensor revealed superior stability and selectivity. The Arctic temperature changes are closely linked to midlatitude weather variability and extreme events, which has attracted much attention in recent decades. Syntheses of proxy data from poleward of 60 ∘ N indicate that there was asymmetric cooling of -1.54 and -0.61 ∘ C for the Atlantic Arctic and the Pacific Arctic during the Holocene, respectively. We also present a similar consistent cooling pattern from an accelerated transient Holocene climate simulation based on the Community Earth System Model. Our results indicate that the asymmetric Holocene Arctic cooling trend is dominated by the winter temperature variability, with -0.67 ∘ C cooling for the Atlantic Arctic and 0.09 ∘ C warming for the Pacific Arctic, which is particularly pronounced at the proxy sites. Our findings indicate that sea ice in the North Atlantic expanded significantly during the late Holocene, while a sea ice retreat is seen in the North Pacific, amplifying the cooling in the Atlantic Arctic by the sea ice feedback. The positive Arctic dipole pattern, which promotes warm southerly winds to the North Pacific, offsets parts of the cooling trend in the Pacific Arctic. The Arctic dipole pattern also causes sea ice expansion in the North Atlantic, further amplifying the cooling asymmetry. We found that the temperature asymmetry is more pronounced in a simulation driven only by orbital forcing. The accelerated simulations lead to a partial delay in the feedback of climate processes. Therefore, we confirm the occurrence of the asymmetry of the Arctic temperature changes in un-accelerated simulations using ECBilt-CLIO, IPSL, and in TraCE-21k. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The association between bilirubin (BIL) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains controversial. We performed a meta-analysis of prospective studies to evaluate this association in the general population. We searched PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane, and Scopus databases through to September 2021. The Newcastle-Ottawa Quality Assessment Scale was used to assess study quality. The pooled effect estimate was calculated by the fixed-effect model or random-effect model. We included 12 prospective studies (368 567 participants). The pooled risk ratio of CVD for the lowest vs highest groups of BIL levels was.75 (95% CI:.58-.97) with high heterogeneity (I2 = 87.5%, P <.001). Similar associations were observed for coronary heart disease and stroke. We further performed a "dose-response" meta-analysis, and a significant U-shaped relationship between circulating (most values were serum bilirubin, but a few were plasma bilirubin) BIL and CVD (P <.01) was observed. The lowest risk of CVD events was observed in participants with a BIL of 17-20 µmol/L in serum and/or plasma. In conclusion, there was a U-shaped dose-response relationship between BIL and CVD, especially for men. Further studies are needed to confirm our findings and identify the mechanisms involved as well as any prognostic or therapeutic potential. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The toxicity effects of paclitaxel (PTX)-loaded magnetic neutrophil-hybrid swimming microrobots ("neutrobots") in vivo were assessed after intravenous administration to mice. The mice after 72 hours exhibited minimal immunotoxicity and liver and kidney toxicity at an administration dose of 3 × 106 PTX-loaded neutrobots. The buildup of tailings in China has expanded dramatically with economic development and industrial demand, and the safety of tailings reservoirs has become increasingly serious. Due to the difficulty in finding a new reservoir site, the expansion approach of building a new tailings dam downstream of the original reservoir area was investigated. The stability of the tailings reservoir after expansion was calculated using the traditional dynamic and static stability solution method and taking into account the unpredictability of dam construction materials and tailings material parameters in the reservoir area. The results reveal that throughout the tailings accumulation process in the new reservoir, the tailings will build a back pressure slope at the original reservoir's initial dam, which can considerably improve the original reservoir's dynamic and static stability. The Monte Carlo method clearly outperforms older methods for tailing pond stability analysis. The results of this paper's calculations will give a theoretical foundation and practical reference for the later management and maintenance of such tailings reservoirs, as well as fresh ideas and insights for comparable projects due to limited site selection. The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is an international non-profit standards organization. Established in 1994, OGC aims to make geospatial information and services FAIR-Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. OGC specifications have greatly facilitated interoperability among software, hardware, data, and users in the GIS field. This study collected publications related to OGC specifications from the Web of Science (WoS database) between 1994 to 2020 and conducted a literature analysis using Derwent Data Analyzer and VosViewer, finding that OGC specifications have been widely applied in academic fields. The most productive organizations were Wuhan University and George Mason University; the most common keywords were interoperability, data, and web service. Since 2018, the emerging keywords that have attracted much attention from researchers were 3D city models, 3D modeling, and smart cities. To make geospatial data FAIR, the OGC specifications SWE and WMS served more for "Findable", SWE contributed more to "Accessible", WPS and WCS served more for "Interoperable", and WPS, XML schemas, WFS, and WMS served more for "Reusable". The OGC specification also serves data and web services for large-scale infrastructure such as the Digital Earth Platform of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Here we report on the design, synthesis, and assembly of an enzymatic programmable peptide system inspired by endocytic processes to induce molecular assemblies formation spatiotemporally in living cancer cells, resulting in glioblastoma cell death mainly in necroptosis. Our results indicate the stability and glycosylation of molecules play an essential role in determining the final bioactivity. Detailed mechanistic studies by CLSM, Flow cytometry, western blot, and Bio‐EM suggest the site‐specific formation of assemblies, which could induce the LMP and activate the downstream cell death pathway. Moreover, we also demonstrate that our strategy can boost the activity of commercial chemotherapy drug by escaping lysosome sequestration.
