The article focuses on the general public behavior in context to insurance demands when challenged with ambiguity and low probability events. It represents a large representative sample of the French population that looks towards differentiating attitudes toward risk, exaggeration and conflict for extreme risks. It depicts a lack of confidence in the insurance markets by people when determined under ambiguity.
