application/pdf, 紀要論文, 本稿はヘルシンキ大学において2010年から2012年にかけて実施された、日本語教師と日本語学習者による協働プロジェクトの実践報告である。このプロジェクトは、二つの段階からなっている。第一段階では、フィンランドにおける日本語教育の位置づけを探るため、日本語や日本語教育にかかわりのあるフィンランド人計71名にインタビューを行い、インタビュー集としてフィンランドで出版した。第二段階ではそのフィンランド語版インタビュー集を日本語に翻訳し、抄訳本として日本で出版した。集められた言説からは、日本語が堪能な人材の確保が重要とする点においては異論がないものの、インタビュー対象者自身の日本語との関わりの度合いに応じて、日本語教育の在り方に対する態度には温度差が見られた。また、第二段階の翻訳プロジェクトは学生たちの学びにおける自発性を喚起するとおもに、日本とフィンランドの言語教育のあり方の相違点を浮き彫りにし、そえを教師に改めて意識させる契機となった。, This paper overviews the collaborative project work conducted form 2010 to 2012 by Japanese language teachers and students majoring in Japanese Studies at the University of Helsinki. The aim of the project was to locate the Japanese teaching and learning of the university in a wider context of the general language teaching policy in Finland. Despite the fact that many interviewees say there are demands for high Japanese language proficiency, foreign language teaching at school level is still dominated by European languages, while Japanese language is categorized as a “rare language” and Japanese teaching curriculum at the university level has not yet met essential changes in the last 20 years.\ The first stage of the project consisted of interviews of Finnish people from various walks of life and its publication in Finland. Second stage was translating the Finnish interview text into Japanese and publishing it as a book in Japan. The feedback form participants of the second stage reveals that the translation project contributed to raising the consciousness in the Japanese language learning, and creating a new self-identity.
