- Abstract
Muslim rulers of the subcontinent not only recognize education and literary activities in the thirteenth century AD, but many of them were also had command on education and literature and were also writers. There was a sense of poetry and artistic arts. In their durbars, the scholars and the poets were respected. The royal seminaries were exist in every Muslim era. These institutions generally used to meet the educational and cultural needs of the ruling class. Apart from this, the libraries in the royal palaces were also established. Historiography and poetry beside religions literature were promoted in the 13th century. In the literature, many prosiest, historians, other scholars and their writings were prominent in this era. Such as Muhammad Sadiuddīn Auafī, Imām Razi Al- Din Saghāni, Qāzi Minhāj Sirāj Juzjāni, Amīr Hassan Sajzī, etc., in the field of poetry, Amīr Khusro got more limelight in contemporary poetry. In this period, books on Hadīth, Islamic Jurisprudence and Sūfism were written in Arabic, and the frequent language of literature, history, and poetry was Persian.
