The adsorbent of bioethanol black liquor sludge was used to adsorb acid red and acid orange dyes. The aim of this research is to obtain the decolorization the dyes with vaiation of adsorption time and adsorbent dose in dyes solution. The characterization of the adsorbent was determined using SEM and BET. The surface area of adsorbent from black liquor was 141.96 m2/g and a pore size of 2.06 nm, the surface morphology is porous, serrated, and rough. While the best adsorption time was 20-60 minutes in both dyes, the decolorization value was achieved up to 99%. The dominant isotherm adsorption was Langmuir isotherm, pseudo second-order kinetic models, and the maximum adsorption capacity is 10.56 mg/g on Acid Orange and 9.32mg/g on Acid Red.
