The article studies the role of the observer - the subject of acoustic perception of poetic narrative, in particular, in the construction of a dual reality in the early work by Alexander Blok Poems about the Beautiful Lady. Acoustic perceptual data is the basis for the creation of complex mystical and philosophical symbols and poetic images. The divine, ideal world of the Beautiful Lady and the real world of the lyric hero are in opposition to each other in acoustic terms, which give rise to the opposition HARMONY - DISHARMONY. The opposition is realized in musical sounds, songs, and bell ringing typical of the upper world. The real world is characterized by other sounds, non-musical: groans, creaks, complaints, and crying. Accordingly, emotions also differ in value depending on belonging to one or another world: in the world of the Beautiful Lady they quietly laugh, rejoice; in the world of the lyrical hero they cry, moan, complain. SILENCE is a significant symbol of the divine world. The world of the Beautiful Lady is thus harmonious, musical and quiet. Its important element is the voices of birds: swans, cranes, eagles. Smell, touch and taste play a minor role in the creation of the Bloks dual reality. Temperature sensations participate in the formation of the COLD symbol as a phenomenon hostile to the divine world. Thus, the concept of dual reality in Bloks early lyrics is embodied in a number of acoustic oppositions and acoustic symbols of silence, song, and bell ringing.

This research article reports how rhetorical elements used in the speeches of Swami Vivekananda at World Parliament of Religions supports to construct the religious harmony in the world. This study is based on qualitative interpretative research design and employs the theoretical ideas based on Richard Andrews to interpret the various rhetorical devices in his selected speeches. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the use of arguments in his speeches by using the idea developed by Stephen Toulmin and his visual rhetoric is analyzed using the idea based on Tracey Owens Patton. Findings show that use of rhetorical elements in his speeches contributes to make his arguments stronger to construct the religious harmony among the world religions despite the apparent contradiction among them. He incorporated rhetorical devices in his speeches such as metaphors, similes, parallelism, appropriate dictions and repetitions to persuade the audience to establish his claim more effectively by making simple and understandable. His rhetoric of spiritualization of religions with the support of interpretation of Vedic philosophy contributes to integrate the world religions by stating that every human being has been created equally having the body and immortal spirit with them. His visual rhetoric including attractive bodily appearance, confidence and commanding voice helped him to attract the attention of the large mass of audience towards him. Findings of this article contribute to a better understanding that appropriate use of rhetorical elements supports to make effective communication and helps to persuade the audience to achieve the goal.

Este artículo estudia “La camisa del marido”, de Nélida Piñón. Se desea demostrar que en este texto se ofrece una representación suigéneris de la mujer, la cual ya no es más vista como un ser en minusvalía social (débil, pasivo, dependiente), sino que se presenta como alguien que posee agencia, es decir, que es capaz de problematizar su circunstancia y, además, hace algo para poder superarla. Asimismo, se desea probar que, en este cuento, se representa a la “mala madre”, entendida como el personaje femenino que no está dispuesto a seguir los mandatos sociales que la maternidad impone. Esta “mala madre” privilegia su condición individual antes que la referida a sus hijos. Finalmente, también se quiere demostrar que “La camisa del marido” es un cuento en el que se problematiza lo difícil de las relaciones familiares, las que no aseguran ni el afecto ni la armonía entre las personas que conforman una familia.

This article presents an acoustic phonetic study of contemporary Diné Bizaad (Navajo) sibilant harmony, with a focus on the realization of /s/ and /ʃ/ in two verbal prefixes and one nominal prefix. Data come from wordlists and connected speech recorded in interviews with 50 Diné Bizaad–English bilinguals, aged 18–75 years. The frequency of harmony in each prefix is calculated for speakers of different ages, then acoustic measurements of spectral center of gravity are measured and statistically compared to those in sibilants occurring in harmony-triggering and non-harmony triggering conditions. Results show no significant intergenerational differences in the phonetic or phonological realization of sibilant harmony; speakers consistently and categorically harmonize the two verbal prefixes analyzed here, but rarely harmonize the nominal prefix. This study contributes new phonetic documentation of a typologically rare phonological process and suggests that, in contrast to findings from other studies on endangered languages, sibilant harmony is not undergoing attrition or contact-induced change.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest omówienie roli uczuć estetycznych (specyficznych dla doświadczenia estetycznego) w poznaniu integralnej z punktu widzenia pragmatyzmu Johna Deweya. Zaproponowana koncepcja poznania integralnego wymaga zjednoczenia intelektu ze zmysłami, uczuciami, cielesnością oraz wyobraźnią i intuicją, czyli sferą estetyczną. Praktykowanie tego rodzaju poznania prowadzi do zdobywania informacji i holistycznego rozwoju człowieka, osiągnięcia przezeń wewnętrznej harmonii i satysfakcji. Pierwsza część artykułu dotyczy związku doświadczenia estetycznego z poznaniem integralnym. Druga część przedstawia znaczenie uczuć w postawie pragmatycznej Deweya. Trzecia część analizuje specyfikę uczuć estetycznych. Ostatnia część ma na celu rozważenie, w jaki sposób i dlaczego uczucia estetyczne przyczyniają się do poznania integralnego.

Influenced by the three schools of thought of Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism in Chinese traditional culture, the Chinese sports culture has apparent differences compared to its counterpart in the West. Chinese traditional sports culture pursues “the cultivation of human mind” and “the identity of human and nature,” achieves moral and spiritual satisfaction and then “harmony,” and does not advocate competition and physical confrontation. The Western sports culture is characterized by “competition” and pursues the spirit of transcendence to itself and nature. In the process of the formation of Chinese traditional culture, the sports culture contained in it has been suppressed. The formation of the social atmosphere of “emphasizing literature and light martial arts,” the decline of the group of “chivalrous men,” the criticism of traditional martial arts in the May Fourth New Culture Movement, and the contemporary sports system of China all, to a certain extent, restrained the healthy development of sports culture. How to further improve, cultivate and disseminate sports culture is a problem that Chinese sports scholars and governors should address.

Anti-nihilist novel “The Possessed” was first conceived as a political pamphlet and therefore had a powerful satirical tendency, directed against the utilitarianism. The polemic against “ideas of avant-garde” constitutes the center of the theoretical conflict concerned the problem of the good and the esthetics. To resolve this issue, the author suggests the broad interpretation of the category of “the beautiful”, which forms after all a holistic vision of the “positive aesthetics” (V. Solovyov) presented in the monologues of Stepan Trofimovich Verkhovensky. The apotheosis in the development of this theme occurs in the pathetic hymn to the Beauty, pronounced at the «literary readings». The article puts forward an ontological interpretation of this speech. Considering beauty as an integral part of the triune idea (truth, goodness and beauty), one can come to the conclusion that the beautiful, understood as God (Dostoevsky) and the idea (Plato), is a creating, but not a created substance, and any of the good, accomplished on earth, has its cause in the eternally equal realm of harmony and only from there's derived. To confirm the original thesis, the author refers to the texts of V. Solovyov, N. Berdyaev and others. However, it's the dialogues of Plato (“Hippias Major”, “Symposium”, etc.), which stand as a theoretical ground of the interpretation and allow us to comprehend the category of the beautiful from a new perspective in its relation to the utility and the good.

В романах Ф.М. Достоевского «Братья Карамазовы», «Преступление и наказание» и «Бесы» каждому основному герою сопутствуют экзистенциальные смыслы — органические части произведений. Без их формулирования герои бы не имели столь глубоких, философски значимых характеров. Эти смыслы: «рвущаяся к свету душа»; разрешаемая «кровь по совести»; старчество — «берущий вашу душу, вашу волю в свою душу и в свою волю»; никаким грехом «не истощимая и бесконечная божья любовь»; немыслимость, но все же реальная явленность «будущего члена всемирно-общечеловеческой социальной республики и гармонии»; определение людей как «бунтовщиков слабосильных, собственного бунта своего не выдерживающих» и потребность «общности преклонения» перед «силами чуда, тайны и авторитета». Формулируя и раскрывая их содержание, Достоевский, несомненно, отчетливо сознавал, что тем самым создает представление о природе русского человека, существенно отличной от природы людей иных культур. В этой природе автор усматривал возможность реализации божеского предназначения русских «сказать свое слово миру», вывести мир из лжи, меркантилизма и потребительства, ассоциируемых им с либерализмом, в трясину которого все сильнее погружается Европа и на котором пытается созидать себя Америка. Но экзистенциальные смыслы, как открывает история, темпоральны, то есть перебрасываются во времени, в частности, обретают новую жизнь в большевистскую эпоху. Отчего они начинают давать о себе знать именно в это время? Вероятно, оттого, что страна в очередной раз начинает искать свое предназначение в мире, сознавать глубинный смысл своего бытия и, более того, безоглядно практически преобразует себя в соответствии с некой схемой, в которой даже сами ее творцы толком не разобрались; ведь в применении марксизма на русской почве было больше авантюрного действия, основанного на фантазии и фанатизме, чем даже простого здравого смысла. Броситься в пучину переустройства мог только человек, уверовавший, в частности, что это именно то, чего жаждет его «душа, рвущаяся к свету», и что обеспечивается остальными присущими его природе экзистенциальными качествами и свойствами.

Instead of directly addressing the theme of this conference, which begins with ‘Problems of spiritual awakening of a personality’, what is included herein is a potential solution to the problem. This paper is written from the author’s personal perspective, as an evangelical Christian. It provides material for each person to ponder and for reflection on well-being. The Bible, and particularly the Gospel of John, is interpreted using the Four Domains Model of Spiritual Health/Well-Being to support the claim that Jesus Christ is the paramount exemplar of spiritual well-being. This model proposes that spiritual well-being is reflected in the quality of relationships that each person has with self, others, nature and God. As Christ showed how to live in harmony in these four domains, which is the ultimate of spiritual well-being, his life provides a foundation for us to emulate. Christ not only showed us how to live in harmony with God, nature, others and self; he provided the way. Each person has the choice, whether or not to follow in his footsteps to achieve the ultimate of spiritual well-being – eternal life with God. If parents, pastoral carers, pedagogues, physicians, politicians and the populace, including pupils, cared for themselves and others in the same manner as would Jesus Christ, what a wonderful world it would be. We would not only be spiritually aware but fully awake.

Purpose: to compare target, style, methodological, historical and socio-political features and determine the possibilities of mutual application of various approaches to the development of dance education in China and Ukraine. Material and methods. The review included articles on the peculiarities of historical development, methodological aspects, the dance influence on health of people of different ages and different social status. The review also included articles on the peculiarities of the social and political aspects of dance art in China and Ukraine. The analysis of literary sources was carried out by working with scientific articles that are presented in the databases "Web of Science", "Scopus", "Pub Med" and others. Results. The features of Chinese dances that can be applied in Ukraine have been identified: 1 - the practice of mass dances on the streets and squares of cities; 2 - the inner orientation of the dance art towards unity with nature, towards the self-expression of people of their feelings, emotions, experiences, towards achieving harmony through movement; 3 - increased attention to the psychological preparation of dancers; 4 - high attention of researchers to the influence of dancing on the mental and cardiological health of people of different ages; 5 - high number of articles, published in rating journals. The features of Ukrainian dances, which can be applied in China, have been determined: 1 - the development of speed-power qualities of dancers; 2 - implementation of an individual approach, which is currently beginning to develop in Ukraine. Conclusions. The combination of Ukrainian speed-power dance and Chinese inner focus on harmony of body and soul, on unity with nature will create a qualitatively new approach to the development of dance art in general and to the process of teaching dance. This study is the first from the point of view of a comparative analysis of the process of teaching dance in China and Ukraine in terms of historical, socio-political, methodological, substantive aspects, as well as the impact of dancing on the body of the practitioners.

The article describes the origin of mind, its multiversity and complexity, explains multilateral i.e. ontological, gynecological, social, pedagogical and psychological approaches that are necessary’ to understand the essence of mind. Also the article enlightens the harmony of mind with spirit, first of all with the forms of sense, intellect, imagination, thinking as well as physiological and psychoanalysis principles.

The article reveals the peculiarities of the use of conceptual provisions of music education in the artistic and educational space of the new Ukrainian school; the content of historically formed concepts of music education is revealed; the reformist requirements of the new Ukrainian school for the development of artistic and educational space were revealed. Through sensory, rational and emotional-image influence, the artistic-educational space forms the aesthetic consciousness of students, models the image of the world, attitude to nature, culture and people. In different periods of development of art pedagogy the conceptualization of music education was carried out by figures of Ukrainian and foreign culture E. Jacques-Dalcroze, Z. Zhovchak, D. Kabalevsky, Z. Kodai, K. Orff, O. Rostovsky, O. Rudnytska, V. Shatska, B. Yavorsky and others. In the process of historical and pedagogical development, the problem of music education has undergone certain modifications: from the priority of the idea of music education in addressing the national folklore heritage using relative solmization (according to Z. Koday) and the requirement to connect music education with vital needs and demands. child, the general educational purpose of the formation of vital competencies as personally acquired abilities. The reform called "New Ukrainian School" conceptualizes the ideas of modern art education: focus on the student's personality, creating an artistic and educational environment to provide students with opportunities for self-knowledge, self-development, acquisition of vital competencies, opportunities to learn about the world and communicate with language and music. art. The process of music education in primary school forms the student's ability to perceive, understand and create music, develops a sensual attitude to the world in alternative definitions of harmony, order, rhythm – chaos, beautiful – ugly, tragic – comic; high, valuable – low, low, insignificant; true, truthful – deceptive, false, etc.

The purpose of the article is to reveal the artistic and stylistic features of men's costumes in R. Balayan film "Flights in Dreams and Reality" (Polyoty vo sne i nayavu) as significant for Ukrainian cinema and design of the 1970s-1980s. The proposed research contributes to the history of costume in cinema, considering it as an object of design in the context of the 1970s-1980s fashion, world and domestic cultural paradigm. Methodology. Work on the chosen topic involves the following theoretical methods: an analytical research method for generalization and delineation of issues; comparative analysis to identify the features of men's costume in cinema in the context of domestic and world cultural heritage; the art history method will serve to understand the contribution of the visual series in the film to modern design and culture in general. The scientific novelty of the study is to explain the correlation of men's costume in cinema and the fashion mainstream of the late 1970s - early 1980s on the example of the film "Flights in Dreams and Reality". It should be noted that previously the analysis of R. Balayan's work was primarily directed to find the origins of visual imagery and its semantic content; the place and role of costumes in his films, the socio-cultural context in which they were created were not previously considered in detail. Despite the numerous bibliography of materials devoted to the work of R. Balayan and especially "Flights…" (Может нужно было полное название "Flights in Dreams and Reality") which covered the most various artistic aspects, still such as an important component of R. Balayan's films as the costume has been practically ignored. Conclusions. Understanding of the role of costumes in domestic cinema on the example of the film "Flights in Dreams and Reality", which reflects not only the visual part of the film but also the cultural and artistic context of the film, gives a new starting point for studying the history of men's costume and its contribution to modern fashion. The laconism and harmony of figurative solutions of the 1970s experience their last years of popularity in the early 1980s, right before their disappearance, giving us an example of the perfect combination of simple form and deep filling, which can serve as an example to follow in modern men's clothing design.

As Christianity arrived on the shores of Singapore closely following British colonization, Western missionaries introduced their interpretation of the Holy Communion into a foreign land and space that was experiencing its first brushes with Western modernity. Contemporaneously, the movement of modernity continues to make an impact upon an important element of life closely intertwined with religious folk practices and culture of locals: food. In the face of modernizing foodscapes and primordial religious backgrounds, converts from Chinese religious traditions to Christianity find themselves navigating the dissonance of Western Holy Communion theologies with the Chinese philosophies of food. How might churches in Singapore begin to respond to the tensions arising when these two philosophical systems meet, and when Christians and churches seem to appropriate “syncretistic” theologies into their liturgical behavior? This article undertakes an interdisciplinary effort by employing social science to explore the modernizing of food in Singapore, as well as engaging Chinese philosophies of food and the body to explain tensions among converts from Chinese religious traditions, and the resistance of local churches towards Chinese understandings of food rituals in the partaking of the Holy Communion. It will also briefly propose that interdisciplinary studies, including liturgical studies, will be essential in developing a more robust theology of the Holy Communion among churches, thereby enhancing its witness within and without.

Una de las contradicciones más llamativas al interior de lo que se conoce como la escuela Bauhaus se dio entre el futurismo tecnicista-humanista de Walter Gropius y el ocultismo orientalista de otros miembros, como Johannes Itten. Aunque ambos buscaban armonizar la existencia del ser humano con el entorno que habita, las teorías en las que ambas tendencias basaban sus prácticas llegaban a ser irreconciliables. Era inconcebible que el ideal artístico de Itten estuviera al servicio de la humanidad en su conjunto cuando defendía nociones protoracistas sobre la capacidad exclusiva de un grupo étnico para alcanzar dicha armonía. Muchas de estas ideas quedaron incluso plasmadas en su obra de arte y no sólo en escritos y discursos publicados. El propio interés de Itten por la cultura y el arte oriental convivió incómodamente con estas tendencias, dejando un legado ambivalente y problemático, el cual ha sido recientemente señalado por algunos estudiosos del movimiento. Aquí analizaremos algunas aristas de esta contradicción y sus implicaciones desde el punto de vista de la comparatística. Resulta necesario plantearnos cómo se deben ver estas inconsistencias si queremos evitar caer en una postura trivial y poco crítica de un movimiento cultural tan relevante como lo fue la escuela Bauhaus.

La estética de la música y la belleza de la trova, se vio reflejada en la actividad de disertación académico-musical que se realizó en el Doctorado en Investigación en Educación, el sábado 1 de mayo del año 2021; con el Cantor y Trovador Otto Mora, quien inició expresando que el arte integra la música como una manifestación que proporciona una experiencia estética que motiva la percepción individual, la creatividad y estimula los sentimientos, los pensamientos y las ideas. Gracias a los aspectos personales de tipo emocional, lo cual permite descubrir la estética de la obra. Entre los elementos estéticos musicales están la armonía y la emotividad, que están inmersos en la estética y las relaciones entre complejidad y estética, que conocen de diversidad, de transformaciones, de transiciones, de emergencia, de impredecibilidad y de autoorganización. Y el pensamiento sistémico, que nos plantea el concepto de propiedades emergentes de los sistemas como el calor, la sinergia y la buena vibra; aseguró Mora que la música es una propiedad emergente del sistema que la produce.

Northrop Frye knows the cyclic version of creation myth in his reading of The Four Zoas according to which the human lives in heaven unified with God, unfallen state; he then falls and loses the harmony had with God, fallen state; and he should restore the previous unfallen state in Apocalypse or Last Judgment. Unlike Fry, while thinking of Maurice Blanchot I argue that Blake has created a new myth of creation different from the cyclic one by focusing on what Blake calls Beulah as the stage intermediate between spiritual and physical existence. In the non-original state, Beulah is the state of perpetual creation beyond dialectic and dualism known in Eternity and the life on the earth, a sort of becoming. For Blake, this proves that entities are not created to be manifested in the state of independent selfhood, but they are in relation with the others. This makes both selfhood and indefiniteness simultaneously possible to exist. It is Beulah itself which is all and the only space of existence opening itself from within itself. All entities including God are in interrelationship while being in the process of interruption (acquiring selfhood) within continuation (interrelationship) simultaneously. This demonstrates Blake's new myth of creation avoiding the primal crisis of the cyclic myth of creation. He has also introduced a new idea of relationship.

The purpose of this study was to determine the mindset of women in Campursari songs using a deconstruction study. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the mindset of women in Campursari songs using deconstruction studies. This research is included in descriptive qualitative research, because the analysis in this study is a description. The data source used is the text of the Campursari song entitled Balungan Kere, Cidro, Penak Kanca, Kartonyono Medot Janji, and Pamer Bojo. The method used in this research is writing, recording, grouping the data, then the data that has been collected is analyzed using data reduction techniques, data interpretation, and data verification. The result of this research is that there is a deconstruction of the opinion / discourse about Javanese women in Serat Wulang Putri above, it can be concluded that Javanese women are very synonymous with Javanese culture such as speaking soft words, being calm, silent (calm), disliking conflict, emphasizing harmony, uphold family values, able to understand and understand others, polite, high self-control, endurance to suffer high, play a role economically and faithfully. Javanese women are women who really uphold Javanese culture. Some other characteristics of Javanese people are patience and neriman (patience and acceptance with grace).

As a cultured country, the ancestors of the Indonesian people bequeathed a lot of relics that are represented in norms and objects. Regarding norms, the harmony of the Indonesian nation which is multicultural, multiethnic, and multireligious has become irrefutable evidence. It is different with relics in the form of material. Some of them still leave endless debates when they are met with religion. Amulet, for example, some people consider it as an element of polytheism that must be avoided. Meanwhile, the majority of the existing community has no problem with its use as long as it is in accordance with the provisions outlined by the pious scholar. The views of these two groups are based on the same source, namely the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him). Nevertheless, the approaches used in the understanding are completely different, so that they have their own prespective views. The derivation of the passages that appear in the understanding of the two groups into the charts provided by Roland Barthes in his mythical semiology is very helpful for ordinary people to recognize these two views.

Eastern (including Kazakh-Turkic) philosophy differs from classical Western philosophy in that it does not make a major distinction between the universals of culture and philosophy. For Kazakh traditional society, philosophizing is characteristic of a non-abstract, extremely generalized, figuratively complete form of reflection. For the most part, philosophical categories and concepts are reflected and enshrined in artistic and religious texts. Therefore, the study of Kazakh philosophers should be conducted in a broader socio-cultural context. A holistic conceptual understanding of the worldview universals of a nomadic civilization is one of the most urgent tasks of modern Kazakh philosophy. To accomplish this task, we have at our disposal a huge amount of material from the monuments of the Orkhon-Yenisei runic writings, to priceless samples of oral folk art in the form of folk legends, heroic epics, proverbs, and sayings, the poetical and musical heritage of the zhyrau-akyns, etc. Traditional Kazakh culture is the quintessence and reflection of a special nomadic type of economy. Nomadic civilization is an example of a favorable coexistence between nature and man. An eco-friendly lifestyle was a reflection of the internal attitude towards maintaining harmony between man and nature. At the same time, the Kazakhs managed to create a special socionormative culture based on deep spiritual traditions that widely regulated social relations. The genus origin was the fundamental principle of the individual's self-identification and linked him by inseparable blood ties with the community and the territory of residence as a continuation of his social and natural existence. A nomadic collective was a hierarchically designed social organism, where human life was strictly regulated. Every action in everyday life had not only practical, but also spiritual meaning, value. Sacralization of actions took place through the ritual. Almost every single thing in everyday life was endowed with symbolic meaning. Having mastered the methods, principles and categorical apparatus of Western philosophy, modern Kazakh philosophy has become capable of deeply analyzing and actualizing the past examples of the spiritual culture of the Kazakh people. At the same time, it opens itself up to other cultures and thus new opportunities for intercivilizational dialogue appear.

Since the mid-twentieth century, Yoga has emerged as a multi-million US dollar global fitness industry. It has drawn worldwide followers to practice postural and breathing techniques. However, the fitness model only elucidates how to live well and not how to die well. This article contends that the body-centric approach has little relevance to those who are dying. It espouses that yogic values like transcendence, holistic healing, harmony, and death-acceptance that qualify a 'good' death are regrettably lost in modern times. In conclusion, the soteriological aim needs to be retained in the modern yogic discourse to live well and die gracefully.

The relevance. Multidirectionality of artistic searches in the musical art of the first half of the XX century fully complies with the worldview and values of European culture of that time. The change of perception of the world, matter, time and space is objectified in the sound matter of musical works. Among the composers who have a defining role in paving the ways for new music, we should mention C. Debussy. The purpose of the article is to identify and systematize of “non-classical” features in the orchestral manner of C. Debussy. The novelty of the article is the study of the orchestral manner specifics of C. Debussy as “non-classical” in certain traits. The methodology. The article uses functional, historical, comparative, analytical and complex methods. The theoretical basis of the study are the works of V. Bobrovskyi (2018), H. Golovynskyi (1981), S. Iskhakova (1998), L. Kokoreva (2010), S. Mozhot (2006). The result. Extrapolation of scientific statements of V. Bobrovskyi, H. Golovynskyi, S. Iskhakova, L. Kokoreva, S. Mozhot to the sphere of orchestral thinking and orchestral manner of C. Debussy allowed to reveal signs of “non-classical” as the ones that draw a boundary between the principles of classical-romantic orchestration (based on functional harmony) and new music of the XX century. It is the “non-classical” features that allow to create a new sound matter, a new perception of space and time in the orchestral works of the composer. In our opinion, the manifestations of the “non-classical” are: 1) functional restructuring of the orchestral texture on the basis of non-hierarchy as the dominant principle; 2) building a dense, “concrete” in terms of eventfulness and, at the same time, light (massless), broad musical space, 3) levelling the boundary between the exposing (more integral and continuous) type of orchestration and developing (smaller, dialogical, discrete); 4) interpenetration of continuity and discreteness (discrete continuity) at the level of thematics and orchestration as a consequence of erasing the boundary between the functions of background and relief and the exposing and developing orchestration types. The practical significance. The results of the work can be applied in the training courses “History of orchestral styles”, “History of foreign music”, which are studied in higher education institutions; in further scientific researches.

Chanoyu is a popular culture today even though this culture has been around for a long time. This study aimed to describe the problem of terms, especially their relationship with the culture of the speakers in the chanoyu procession. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. The approach used was an ethnolinguistic approach. The result of this research showed that the tea ceremony has become an important part of Japanese culture. The terms found in the procession indicate that the guest and the host respect each other and give meaning to the journey of life. The use of terms in the lexicon in the tools used is also seen in terms of form, its manufacture and use creates perfect harmony in the chanoyu process.

Malaysia’s background as a multi-racial, multi-religious country, and overflowing wealth that exists as a result of the uniqueness of a plural society, is a vital asset that catalyses the international student diaspora. The choice of study destination is also significantly influenced by the social structure of an individual. In conclusion, this paper provides an understanding of the significance of multiculturalism and family consensus as the basis for decision-making to study abroad. The involvement of four public universities is determined based on the classification and status of the university, the historical background of the establishment of the university, the socio-political environment, and the population of international students registered at each university. In-depth interviews conducted on 40 international students have produced empirical data, which is then processed by inductive analysis. Transcripts of audio recordings are converted into text form for theme categorisation through an encoding process. The findings prove that the decision to choose Malaysia is not solely influenced by the multicultural society. The uniqueness of Malaysia’s cultural diversity embroidered with harmony and courtesy of unity has added value to the confidence of the family as well as the students themselves in dealing with the process of assimilation of a new environment that is different from the country of origin. The new findings of this study refer to the relationship between cultural themes with the pleasure of travelling, opportunities to immerse themselves in local culture, and conducive learning environment as the dominant element of testing student’s ability to adapt well in a foreign environment. This paper’s approach utilises empirical data as the basis of the discussion. Application of a selection of original dialogue narratives taken from informants presented to give a true picture of the assimilation experience of international students. The connection of these aspects can also be used as a guideline for university management to be sensitive to the implications of multiculturalism and family consensus on the results of student’s studies abroad.

The peculiarities of the world model and the human model in the Eastern European music art of the postmodern era were revealed. The research is based on a hermeneutical analysis of the contemporary Russian and Ukrainian composers’ works. The research method builds on the systematic and historical approaches. It allows to consider the individual musical text as a subsystem of a higher order system. The sociocultural context was considered. The scientific novelty consists in revealing the specifics of the Eastern European artists’ worldview of the last third of the XX and beginning of the XXI centuries. It is the consequence of studying their creativity in an anthropological dimension. The anthropological essence of the music of contemporary Ukrainian and Russian composers lies in a certain inconsistent polarity. The polarity is represented by the ironic and fragmented worldview combined with the religious quest. The awareness of the chaos and apocalyptic culture is combined with the religious support in its various manifestations. Therefore, the character in modern music has a dual essence. He is both marginal and a personality with strong spiritual support. In the works of contemporary Russian and Ukrainian composers, two postmodern worldview poles are organically combined: a destructive worldview and a desire for harmony. This polarity is caused by the crisis mentality of the modern post-totalitarian society.

This study is not just a meaning of costume but a function of culture and includes addresses the associated emotions. As the interest of youths has increased recently, the importance of traditional costume education has been growing. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the contents of Hanbok in the 2015 revised high school technology and home textbooks using content analysis techniques and text mining techniques. As a result of the study, first, the symbolic meaning and characteristics of Hanbok and the beauty of Hanbok were practiced in daily life, and the value was found through the excellence of Hanbok and the modernization of Hanbok was dealt with Second, most of the illustrations related to traditional costumes were presented in various ways, but there were some regrets due to lack of quantity and quality. Third, the words used to explain traditional costumes were used in the form of culture, excellence, tradition, modernity, harmony, succession, etc. except for the types of clothing. Therefore, the results and discussions derived from this study are expected to help the textbooks to be efficiently selected and used in the field of the front line school along with the correct understanding of traditional culture in the process of selecting traditional culture contents and illustrations.

The article describes the artistic features of harmonizing the visual and artistic means of Uzbekistan based on the analysis of theoretical sources and the practice of architecture. Also, the author's position on the definition of creation is outlined as a generalization of innovative tools in architecture, whose development is given taking into account national traditions in synthesis with modern trends.

This article uses music and the discourse about music to understand the practice of tolerance in Prague during the period immediately preceding the outbreak of the Thirty Years’ War. Drawing on Las ensaladas (Prague, 1581), a collection of vernacular polyphony compiled by the Spanish composer Mateo Flecha the Younger, and Harmoniae morales (Prague, 1589–90), comprising musical settings of Latin texts by the Slovenian composer Jacobus Handl, the article argues that such music offered Prague's diverse citizens a medium for reflecting on how to live morally and peaceably. Ultimately, this article challenges the commonplace that musical harmony offered an effective model for social harmony, arguing that the practice of singing together exposed the limits of tolerance even as it illuminated how difference might be accommodated.

"Kawaii (Cute) Signs and Symbols as a Means of Maintaining Harmony in Japanese Society. This study focuses on the various facets of the Japanese concept of kawaii (“cute”, “adorable”), as resulting from print advertisements. In the last decade it has been intensively studied by different scholars from various research fields aiming to understand the Japanese worldview. The analysis of pop culture elements, of which kawaii is part of, was not an area of interest due to the fact that they were considered inferior to high culture (classical arts and traditions), but the influence of this concept on culture and language, as well as on the way the Japanese communicate and relate is significant. Starting from the idea that the viewer is (often) persuaded through culture-specific signs and symbols, we intend to present the role of kawaii (“cute”, “adorable”) verbal and visual signs in maintaining group harmony (wa), one of Japan’s core values. Hofstede’s (2001, 2003, 2010) cultural dimensions theory was used to identify some of the dominant values in the Japanese society which determine people’s expectations and behavior and signs and symbols used in adverts were analyzed from a cultural semiotics perspective. In order to explain the popularity of cute characters and “sweet talk” (oseji) in advertisements, we conducted a content analysis based on a corpus of over 200 Japanese print advertisements, covering both commercial and social (public interest) advertising, out of which we have selected four to discuss in this paper. This study discusses the harmony of Hindus and Muslims in Jembrana Bali is seen from a religious point of view as a cultural system involving both religious adherents. The Ngejot and Male traditions are local traditions that show this Hindu-Muslim harmony. Through the theoretical approach of religion as a cultural system, this ethnographic study emphasizes the importance of embodying religious traditions through local culture. Although the tradition of Male originates from the Islamic tradition, cultural influences are able to encourage adaptation to Balinese customs so that harmony is more easily maintained. Here the Muslims understand their position to protect and respect the dominant culture adhered to by the majority of Hindus in Jembrana Bali. The same thing is done by Hindus who try to show a good response to Muslims by involving them in the tradition of Ngejot which was originally a Hindu tradition of worshiping God, to some extent shown by adjustments so as not to conflict with Muslim beliefs. A wealth of local traditions that shows a portrait of harmony between religious communities in Indonesia and becomes a model for multiculturalism education based on local traditions.

The treatment of Hardy's ecology illustrates the roots of thought that have led to our contemporary environmental crisis. Hardy shares affinity by philosophically reconstructing society in the center of natural elements and images by introducing the true meaning of literary art and nature. Hardy self-consciously depicts the naked reality of nature, property, and the place of man as a reaction towards a mechanized and materialized culture that values technological innovations and expositions politically. Hardy has distinguished nature with his distinctive style and insight. Analyzing the work of Hardy helps to know the social and ecological critiques of Victoria on the relationship between the human environment that are biologically and psychologically fascinating and strange when it comes to placing humans into the universe. The research demonstrates how someone such as Hardy represented his knowledge of nature as a mere reflection of man's harmony or disharmony with his climate. Hardy promotes the belief that setting is an important and fundamental factor of human lives that has a direct effect on their lives consciously and unconsciously. Discussing different characters and their various attributes and functions concerning the natural world around them are of great importance for understanding the link between man and the environment. Hardy not only depicts in his novels but also in his poetry the portrayal of the true position of man in nature and the significance of this representation in human life.

The theme of patriotism has a central place in the works of Fitrat. Patriotism has been one of the important factors in the spiritual, social-political development of society in all periods of historical progress. He wrote about from Afrosiab to Yassavi, from Yusuf Khos Hajib to Navoi, from Mashrab to Umarkhan, to his contemporaries Elbek and Cholpon. He laid the foundation stone of the new Uzbek literary science.

This paper contributes to a deepening of the knowledge about how architectural experience can be described in neuro-phenomenological terms, through the development of a cognitive-phenomenological approach to examining architectural experience through text-based analysis. It aims to develop an assessment tool to produce knowledge about one?s personal experience and perception of the built environment by exploring the impact of its spatial properties on an individual, taking as a case study Le Corbusier?s experience of the Kasbah of Algiers. The results demonstrate that this city has the power to stir emotional engagement that arises from: a high cognitive-affective reaction towards the dynamic interactions between the curved contours of its streets; the harmony of its colours; the magnitude and vastness generated by its panoramic views towards the sea; its proportions in relation to the dimensions of the human body in different postures; the contrasts of the height, light, dimensions and ambiances; and the spatial navigation that favours the act of walking to discover the Kasbah and unveil its mysteries. These properties exist as complex networks of interconnected physical and atmospheric elements, and they involve integrated perception under the influence of previous knowledge, beliefs and aspirations to shape Le Corbusier?s architectural experience of the Kasbah.

The review presents modern views on the problem of the position of man in the world, the role of man in the process of transforming the world, the importance of creative abilities for finding the meaning of existence. The works of such authors as Yu.A. Asoyan, N.A. Berdyaev, V.V. Bychkov, V.P. Vizgin, S.A. Gudimova, V.I. Samokhvalova, etc. are analyzed.

The question of whether aesthetics determines the criteria of art, artistic creation, or when creating laws, new criteria, norms, aesthetics follows art has always worried thinkers. The theorist of classicism Boileau, from his point of view, recognized aesthetics as a science that presents its canons and laws to the artist, while others have shown that art is primary in the emergence of aesthetic norms. Of course, in the creative process it is impossible to adhere to only a scheme, a formula, but this does not mean that there are no normative foundations in aesthetics. In our opinion, in art and the creative process, adhering to aesthetic laws, norms and criteria, first of all, means creating artistry in works of art and ensuring that the works meet the highest aesthetic requirements. Thus, aesthetic norms are recognized boundaries, the crossing of which leads to a violation of the aesthetic level and perception. The ancient Greeks denoted disorderly and ugly by the concept of Chaos, order, harmony, harmony of the universe and the ideal were denoted by the word Cosmos. Where the lawful principle of beauty - the aesthetic norm - is preserved, there will always be beauty, while the ugly appears on the basis of a violation of aesthetic norms. For the art form in a work of art to become beautiful, order, high organization, perfect harmony, color, plastic and verbal construction are necessary. In the works of the classics, the logical development of the content requires harmony, balance of composition, a clear image, an accurate representation of volume, generalization of lines. Today, aesthetic criteria and norms play an important role not only in art, in all types of artistic creation, and even in the beauty industry, sports and medicine.

The article focuses on promoting intercultural cooperation and strengthening international community on the example of UNESCO World Heritage sites, inscribed into the World Heritage List that is being formed on the basis of the World Heritage Convention of 1972. UNESCO is a universal intergovernmental UN structure responsible for international cooperation in the sphere of education, science, culture and communication. One of the main activities of the Organization is the world heritage conservation and intercultural dialogue. The article analyzes the UNESCO role in the geopolitical architectonics of Eurasia in which the World Heritage gains a qualitatively new meaning. In the context of a sustainable development the integration of promoting intercultural interaction and heritage safeguarding becomes particularly urgent. The article deals with several initiatives aimed at enhancing the cultural component of the Eurasian integration, including the goals and perspectives of discussion platforms set up for experience exchange in the sphere of World Heritage sites’ conservation and their management. The article seeks to identify the most important challenges and goals of the cooperation strategy between UNESCO and the institutions concerned in the field of the intercultural dialogue promotion in the Eurasian area that seems to be very important both for Russia and the CIS countries, and for the perspectives of the emerging global civilization of the future
