The article presents an analysis on the biological and sociological effect of Botox. Botox is an anti-ageing product, one of many available technologies for facial appearance and skin surface care. The culture of beauty and youthfulness sustain the development of cosmetic and appearance industry. Obsessed with the face and surface, people are turning to the use of anti-ageing face creams, chemical peels or laser re-surfacing, and cosmetic surgery. It is mentioned that Botox is tied to the economics of selling point or marketability.
