Development of the aluminum casting module was aimed at supporting practical learning at Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Vocational School and determining students' understanding and competence of the module. The module was developed using the research and development method. The data were obtained using questionnaires and documentation, as well as using pre-test and post-test exam which then the result analyzed quantitatively descriptively. The result of the development is an aluminum metal casting module that consists of 157 pages and consists of 13 parts. The results of the aluminum metal casting module validation according to material experts is in a feasibility level of 85% which in the very good category. According to media experts, the feasibility level is 89.13% which in the very good category. According to the supervisor, the feasibility level is 83.75% which in the very good category. The feasibility level in accordance with the student response is 78.59% which in the very good category. The results of the pre-test is 33% while the results of the post-test after module implemented is of 76.75% which indicate the modules are suitable for practical learning because increase students' understanding in aluminum casting.
