Abstract

The article focuses on developments in research on the formation of stars. They are said to have been formed within the coldest and darkest places in galaxies. The Milky Way has numerous dark clouds with stars developing inside them. What is common in the stellar formation process is the presence of giant molecular clouds (GMC), which are large reservoirs of cold, dark gas and dust. Such clouds also contain amino acids.
