In this work, we consider the Boiti–Leon–Manna–Pempinelli equation with the M-truncated derivative (BLMPE-MTD). Our aim here is to obtain trigonometric, rational and hyperbolic solutions of BLMPE-MTD by employing two diverse methods, namely, He’s semi-inverse method and the extended tanh function method. In addition, we generalize some previous results. As the Boiti–Leon–Manna–Pempinelli equation is a model for an incompressible fluid, the solutions obtained may be utilized to represent a wide variety of fascinating physical phenomena. We construct a large number of 2D and 3D figures to demonstrate the impact of the M-truncated derivative on the exact solution of the BLMPE-MTD.

In this paper, we introduce a class of new classes of degenerate unified polynomials and we show some algebraic and differential properties. This class includes the Appell-type classical polynomials and their most relevant generalizations. Most of the results are proved by using generating function methods and we illustrate our results with some examples.

In this article, we establish several new generalized Hardy-type inequalities involving several functions on time-scale nabla calculus. Furthermore, we derive some new multidimensional Hardy-type inequalities on time scales nabla calculus. The main results are proved by applying Minkowski’s inequality, Jensen’s inequality and Arithmetic Mean–Geometric Mean inequality. As a special case of our results, when T=R, we obtain refinements of some well-known continuous inequalities and when T=N, the results which are essentially new.

We address here the space-fractional stochastic Hirota–Maccari system (SFSHMs) derived by the multiplicative Brownian motion in the Stratonovich sense. To acquire innovative elliptic, trigonometric and rational stochastic fractional solutions, we employ the Jacobi elliptic functions method. The attained solutions are useful in describing certain fascinating physical phenomena due to the significance of the Hirota–Maccari system in optical fibers. We use MATLAB programm to draw our figures and exhibit several 3D graphs in order to demonstrate how the multiplicative Brownian motion and fractional derivative affect the exact solutions of the SFSHMs. We prove that the solutions of SFSHMs are stabilized by the multiplicative Brownian motion around zero.

In the present paper, we prove some new reverse type dynamic inequalities on T. Our main inequalities are proved by using the chain rule and Fubini’s theorem on time scales T. Our results extend some existing results in the literature. As special cases, we obtain some new discrete inequalities, quantum inequalities and integral inequalities.

In the current study, we investigate the stochastic Benjamin–Bona–Mahony equation with beta derivative (SBBME-BD). The considered stochastic term is the multiplicative noise in the Itô sense. By combining the F-expansion approach with two separate equations, such as the Riccati and elliptic equations, new hyperbolic, trigonometric, rational, and Jacobi elliptic solutions for SBBME-BD can be generated. The solutions to the Benjamin–Bona–Mahony equation are useful in understanding various scientific phenomena, including Rossby waves in spinning fluids and drift waves in plasma. Our results are presented using MATLAB, with numerous 3D and 2D figures illustrating the impacts of white noise and the beta derivative on the obtained solutions of SBBME-BD.

In this work, we will derive new asymptotic properties of the positive solutions of the fourth-order neutral differential equation with the non-canonical factor. We follow an improved approach that enables us to create oscillation criteria of an iterative nature that can be applied more than once to test oscillation. In light of this, we will use these properties to obtain new criteria for the oscillation of the solutions of the studied equation. An example is given to show the applicability of the main results.

In this paper, we establish some new dynamic inequalities involving C-monotonic functions with C≥1, on time scales. As a special case of our results when C=1, we obtain the inequalities involving increasing or decreasing functions (where for C=1, the 1-decreasing function is decreasing and the 1-increasing function is increasing). The main results are proved by applying the properties of C-monotonic functions and the chain rule formula on time scales. As a special case of our results, when T=R, we obtain refinements of some well-known continuous inequalities and when T=N, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, the results are essentially new.

In the present article, we iteratively deduce new monotonic properties of a class from the positive solutions of fourth-order delay differential equations. We discuss the non-canonical case in which there are possible decreasing positive solutions. Then, we find iterative criteria that exclude the existence of these positive decreasing solutions. Using these new criteria and based on the comparison and Riccati substitution methods, we create sufficient conditions to ensure that all solutions of the studied equation oscillate. In addition to having many applications in various scientific domains, the study of the oscillatory and non-oscillatory features of differential equation solutions is a theoretically rich field with many intriguing issues. Finally, we show the importance of the results by applying them to special cases of the studied equation.

The main purpose of this study is aimed at developing new criteria of the iterative nature to test the asymptotic and oscillation of nonlinear neutral delay differential equations of third order with noncanonical operator (a(ι)[(b(ι)x(ι)+p(ι)x(ι−τ)′)′]β)′+∫cdq(ι,μ)xβ(σ(ι,μ))dμ=0, where ι≥ι0 and w(ι):=x(ι)+p(ι)x(ι−τ). New oscillation results are established by using the generalized Riccati technique under the assumption of ∫ι0ιa−1/β(s)ds&lt, ∫ι0ι1b(s)ds=∞asι→∞. Our new results complement the related contributions to the subject. An example is given to prove the significance of new theorem.

In the present article, we give analytical solutions for temperature distribution in a rectangular parallelepiped with the help of a multivariable I-function. The results established in this paper are of a general character from which several known and new results can be deduced. We also give the special and particular cases of our main findings.

The aim of this work is to improve the oscillation results for second-order neutral differential equations with damping term. We consider the noncanonical case which always leads to two independent conditions for oscillation. We are working to improve related results by simplifying the conditions, based on taking a different approach that leads to one condition. Moreover, we obtain different forms of conditions to expand the application area. An example is also given to demonstrate the applicability and strength of the obtained conditions over known ones.

In this article, two new modified variational iteration algorithms are investigated for the numerical solution of coupled Burgers&prime, equations. These modifications are made with the help of auxiliary parameters to speed up the convergence rate of the series solutions. Three numerical test problems are given to judge the behavior of the modified algorithms, and error norms are used to evaluate the accuracy of the method. Numerical simulations are carried out for different values of parameters. The results are also compared with the existing methods in the literature.

We show that a Fuchsian differential equation having five regular singular points admits solutions in terms of a single generalized hypergeometric function for infinitely many particular choices of equation parameters. Each solution assumes four restrictions imposed on the parameters: two of the singularities should have non-zero integer characteristic exponents and the accessory parameters should obey polynomial equations.

In this paper, a new class of ( C , G f ) -invex functions introduce and give nontrivial numerical examples which justify exist such type of functions. Also, we construct generalized convexity definitions (such as, ( F , G f ) -invexity, C-convex etc.). We consider Mond&ndash, Weir type fractional symmetric dual programs and derive duality results under ( C , G f ) -invexity assumptions. Our results generalize several known results in the literature.

Numerous higher-order methods with derivative evaluations are accessible in the literature for computing multiple zeros. However, higher-order methods without derivatives are very rare for multiple zeros. Encouraged by this fact, we present a family of third-order derivative-free iterative methods for multiple zeros that require only evaluations of three functions per iteration. Convergence of the proposed class is demonstrated by means of using a graphical tool, namely basins of attraction. Applicability of the methods is demonstrated through numerical experimentation on different functions that illustrates the efficient behavior. Comparison of numerical results shows that the presented iterative methods are good competitors to the existing techniques.

In a recent article, the first and second kinds of multivariate Chebyshev polynomials of fractional degree, and the relevant integral repesentations, have been studied. In this article, we introduce the first and second kinds of pseudo-Lucas functions of fractional degree, and we show possible applications of these new functions. For the first kind, we compute the fractional Newton sum rules of any orthogonal polynomial set starting from the entries of the Jacobi matrix. For the second kind, the representation formulas for the fractional powers of a r×r matrix, already introduced by using the pseudo-Chebyshev functions, are extended to the Lucas case.

In this paper, we investigate the Wick-type stochastic (3+1)-dimensional modified Benjamin–Bona–Mahony (BBM) equations. We present a generalised version of the modified tanh–coth method. Using the generalised, modified tanh–coth method, white noise theory, and Hermite transform, we produce a new set of exact travelling wave solutions for the (3+1)-dimensional modified BBM equations. This set includes solutions of exponential, hyperbolic, and trigonometric types. With the help of inverse Hermite transform, we obtained stochastic travelling wave solutions for the Wick-type stochastic (3+1)-dimensional modified BBM equations. Eventually, by application example, we show how the stochastic solutions can be given as white noise functional solutions.

In this paper, the authors obtain some new sufficient conditions for the oscillation of all solutions of the fourth order delay differential equations. Some new oscillatory criteria are obtained by using the generalized Riccati transformations and comparison technique with first order delay differential equation. Our results extend and improve many well-known results for oscillation of solutions to a class of fourth-order delay differential equations. The effectiveness of the obtained criteria is illustrated via examples.

In the framework of the ‘monomiality principle’, we introduce a class of Bessel-type functions which can be derived by applying the properties of an isomorphism, related to the so called Laguerre-type exponentials. Further extensions and possible generalizations to the multivariable case are mentioned.

We discuss the theory of Lagrange polynomials and of associated generalized forms, using two different approaches based on the integral transform method and the Umbral Calculus. We will show that the proposed methods offer a powerful tool to investigate the properties of this family of polynomials.

We show that most of the properties of the monomial polynomials can be extended quite straightforwardly to the monumbral case. We show that the formalism underlying the Monumbrality principle allows the derivation of differential equations satisfied by large classes of polynomials ranging from Bernoulli to Laguerre type. We will finally prove the existence of generalized forms of Rodrigues formulae yielding the operational definition of differential types of conventional and generalized polynomials.

Second level exponential operators are exponential operators involving exponentials of exponential operators. We discuss the relevant operational rules and show that they can be exploited to derive new families of generating functions and to study the properties of a large family of Appell type polynomials.

We use the Borel theorem to find new families of generating functions, involving Hermite, Laguerre and Tchebycheff polynomials of one or more variables. We also use operational methods and integral representations to discuss the properties of the relativistic Laguerre and Bessel polynomials and to derive generating functions involving sums of the type

We show that Bessel functions can be viewed as analytical continuations of Hermite Kampe de Ferict polynomials.

We discuss Hermite polynomials of the Gould–Hopper type, the associated harmonic oscillator-like functions, the differential equations they satisfy, and the relevant creation–annihilation operator algebra. We also introduce many variable Hermite polynomials of the Bell type, analyze their properties, and show that they are a natural tool to develop the theory of super-Gauss–Hermite functions, whose pseudo-orthogonal properties are also discussed.
