In this paper, the Advaya Bot - Radiologist assistant robot development & its usage in healthcare applications is presented. The final year project under-taken by us consists of the designing & developing of a bot that can assist healthcare professionals, specifically in the Department of Radiology. It is a growing concern among the community of radiologists that radiation exposure, even under protocol scenarios, is causing harm to them in the form of cancers, tumors, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, etc. Also, in departments like that of Ultra Sonography imaging, the manual use of a transducer is something not looked forward to by the patients. We aim to build a bot that can reduce radiation exposure, workload, and uncomfortable interactions for the doctors in the department of radiology imaging. The use of such bots is strictly domain specific. For the purpose of our final project, we have chosen the domain to be that of Ultrasonography (USG). We aim at eliminating the manual use of the transducer and replacing it with a bot. The bot shall be capable of greeting the patient and adjusting the location of the end-effector with the help of a radiologist or specialist from a distance. The end edge of the bot will also be capable of placing the transducer with the required pressure on the required area of the patient’s body. In developing countries like India, the ratio of doctors to the number of patients is very low. We aim to unburden healthcare professionals and free them from harmful working conditions. India achieved the goal of a circular economy towards regenerative, value-creating development and growth for long-term prosperity. But at the same time, due to the recent unprecedented urbanization and industrialization, wastes and pollutants generated from these activities are enormous, which causes water, air and soil pollution. For example, brine sludge is one of the large quantities of waste from the chlor-alkali industry. This paper reviews different environmental impacts of waste minimization of brine sludge from the chlor-alkali industry with current treatment and utilization technologies. Various materials developed like paver blocks, bricks, non-toxic radiation shielding materials, cement-free materials, etc., using brine sludge as resource material, which can be helpful for broad application spectrum. Conventional softening, Ion exchange, and membrane technologies are available to remove solute from brine sludge. For the salt content in brine sludge, resins' uses are most economical and immensely practical. Due to high-quality recovery with power generation and environmentally friendly brine treatment, membrane-based technologies like membrane distillation, forward osmosis, and electrodialysis can be preferred. In the future perspective, recent membrane technologies like pressure-retarded osmosis and reverse electrodialysis are used to generate power from the salinity gradient between waste brine and freshwater. Applying artificial intelligence in education is relevant to addressing the current educational crises. Many available solutions apply Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to help improve educational outcomes. Therefore, a series of works have been developed integrating techniques in different educational contexts, for instance, in online teaching practices. Given the various studies and the relevance of CNNs for educational applications, this paper presents a systematic literature review to discuss the state-of-the-art. We reviewed 133 papers from the IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, and Scopus databases. Based on our revision, we discuss characteristics of studies such as publication venues, educational context, datasets, types of CNNs models, and performance of models. We evidence that the literature regarding CNNs still misses more studies discussing educational problems faced by Global South students, considering both teaching and learning perspectives. Such a population cannot be neglected during experiments due to specific educational weaknesses (for example, basic skills) demanding personalized solutions. • A systematic literature review of 133 published papers. • China covered most publications, followed by India. • There is a research gap regarding using CNNs in some regions of the Global South. • The main educational context with CNN applications is students' performance. • The growth of solar energy usage and solar power generated in India is exponential. • Theoretical and experimental research efforts in India on solar ponds are elaborated. • The possible scopes of applications of solar ponds in India are detailed. • Problems faced by the solar pond researchers are discussed. • Future of solar pond research in India is illustrated. Solar pond is generally a shallow artificial pool of water in which considerable temperature can be established within its lower layers by suppression of convective transport. Generally, for prevention of convection, some suitable salt solution is used. In this paper, various aspects of solar pond, in terms of both simulation and experimental research advances, practical applications, economic features, challenges faced and future prospects, particularly with respect to Indian context have been reviewed. In general, the importance and the position of India at global level in terms of solar energy harvesting potential have been discussed. Apart from conventional uses of solar ponds in process heating and salt production, their applications in water distillation and thermoelectric power generation are also highlighted. Besides, stability aspect and its importance are revisited from simulations and experimental observations. Important identified areas requiring future research and development to recognize more technically feasible solar pond-based systems include organic Rankine cycle for electrical power production, crop drying, building cooling and air-conditioning based on absorption systems, thermoelectric cooling, and integration of solar ponds with other renewable energy resources. The present literature is proposed to offer guidelines in policy making aimed at addressing various societal requirements in a sustainable and affordable manner by utilizing available natural resources. This paper presents an extensive review of experimental, numerical, and numerical-experimental studies focused on compiling different aspects that lead to improved PTSC performance using the different electronic base sources during the last four decades. Different applications and future research prospects have also been presented, guiding the researchers that focus on developing new working fluids, receiver configurations, applications, among other aspects for PTSC performance enhancement. Experimental studies reveal that the combination of nanofluids and turbulators leads to the best improvement in PTSC thermal efficiency, followed by the use of internal fins and nanofluids only. Numerical studies affirmed that fin inserts have a more significant influence on heat transfer than nanofluids, but its main drawback is that it has a cost increase of 5%. The dispersion of Cu and CuO in the base fluid showed a remarkable increase in the heat transfer coefficient than other nanoparticles. Therefore, they are the best options to improve the PTSC's performance. Numerical-experimental studies reveal that the tube with an internal annular porous combined with the nanofluid Al 2 O 3 /Synthetic oil showed the best increase in thermal efficiency with a value that varies from 8% to 15%. Electronic analysis of publications focused on improving the PTSC's performance shows that China participates with 25%, followed by India with 11%. The PTSC applications proved that it is ideal for electrical energy stability and less dependent on limited fossil fuel reserves. Furthermore, more experimental studies are required to mature nanofluids' application and new receiver tube configurations on an industrial scale. • Different ways to improve PTSC performance over the last 4 decades was reviewed. • Experimental and numerical studies to improve PTSC thermal performance are presented. • Nanofluids, PTSR, and numerical models are described with current challenges. • The use of nanofluids with turbulators is the best option to improve PTSC performance. • This review can help to identify the aspects to be considered in future developments. Remote Sensing (RS) refers to the science of identification of earth surface features and estimation of their geo-biophysical properties using electromagnetic radiation as a medium of interaction. Spectral, spatial, temporal and polarization signatures are major characteristics of the sensor/target, which facilitate target discrimination. Earth surface data as seen by the sensors in different wavelengths (reflected, scattered and/or emitted) is radiometrically and geometrically corrected before extraction of spectral information. RS data, with its ability for a synoptic view, repetitive coverage with calibrated sensors to detect changes, observations at different resolutions, provides a better alternative for natural resources management as compared to traditional methods. Indian Earth Observation (EO) programme has been applications-driven and national development has been its prime motivation. From Bhaskara to Cartosat, India's EO capability has increased manifold. Improvements are not only in spatial, spectral, temporal and radiometric resolutions, but also in their coverage and value-added products. Some of the major operational application themes, in which India has extensively used remote sensing data are agriculture, forestry, water resources, land use, urban sprawl, geology, environment, coastal zone, marine resources, snow and glacier, disaster monitoring and mitigation, infrastructure development, etc. The paper reviews RS techniques and applications carried out using both optical and microwave sensors.
