ABSTRACT A transistor array (TR) bank devised for operating a spin torque oscillator as the DCSO is first proposed. The TR bank supplies a minimum of 86% current per step of the targeted value at any condition and covers the 2.85-GHz band fully with a 1 nA at the minimum code word step. Having driving capability up to 2.5 mA, the TR bank is operated from 0.6 to 1.4 mA at 1.7VDD.
