Nemoura longistyla Zhao, Rehman & Du, sp. nov. Type material: Holotype, 1♁, China, Yunnan Province, Yunlong County, Daoren Mountain, 2265m, N 28.7813 E 99.2575, 2009-VI-3, leg. Qian Yu-Han (ICYZU). Paratype, 1♀, the same data as the holotype (ICYZU). Adult habitus: Head and antennae brown, pronotum dark brown, rectangular in shape, angle blunt rounded (Figs. 5A–5B). Wings hyaline, veins brown. Legs are slightly brown, and the joints of legs are brownish. Male: Forewing length 7.1 mm, hind wing length 6.0 mm. Tergum 9 sclerotized, anterior margin darkly sclerotized, concaved at median of anterior margin. Tergum 10 typically sclerotized, with a membranous area below the epiproct, bearing small spines laterally (Figs. 6A, 6C). Hypoproct broad basally, with finger-like tip; vesicle long and broad, half-length of hypoproct, length 2 × width. Paraprocts are divided into 2 lobes; inner lobe slightly sclerotized, slender; outer lobe sclerotized, the outer edge is darkly sclerotized, broad basally, narrower to apex, forming a darkly sclerotized pointed tip (Figs. 6B, 7B). Epiproct oval-shape, with pair of sclerotized stripes medially, forming long oval shape projection extending forward, projection slightly shorter than epiproct, forming sclerotized annulus medially, with pair of small projections on the lateral side in the middle, bearing 3 small teeth on the tip of each small projection (Figs. 6A, 7A); ventral sclerite sclerotized, forming pair of ridges, broad basally, with small spines ventrally (Fig. 6C). Cerci sclerotized ventrally, membranous dorsally, with a rounded tip (Figs. 6A–6B, 6D, 7A–7C). Female: Females share a similar pattern and coloration to males (Figs. 8A–8B). Forewing length 7.5 mm, hind wing length 6.2 mm. Sternum 7 with a sclerotized pregenital plate, darker bilaterally and overlapping nearly half of sternum 8. Sternum 8 forms two vaginal lobes at each lateral side (Fig. 9A). Sternum 9 with a distinct mid-anterior projection, extending to almost half of sternum 8 (Figs. 9A–9B). Paraprocts and cerci are brownish (Fig. 9A). Etymology: The Latin “ longistyla ” meaning long protrusions, refers to epiproct forming long protrusions on the median of the apex. Remarks: The new species belongs to Nemoura ovocercia species group. The male of N. longistyla sp. nov. appears most similar to N. geei Wu, 1938. The epiproct of both species have a pair of projections, but in N. geei, the projections are long, half-length of the median long projection (see fig. 41–42 in Shimizu, 1997), while the membranous projection in N. longistyla sp. nov. is much shorter. Additionally, the tip of the cerci in N. geei forms a hook, while the new species has a rounded tip (Fig. 6A). The new species is also close to other N. ovocercia group species, including like N. quadrituberata Shimizu, 1997, N. longilobata Shimizu, 1997, and N. babai Kawai, 1966. Tergum 10 of N. quadrituberata forms two pairs of protuberances and expanded upward to a knob-like projection (see figs. 43–44 in Shimizu, 1997), while new species have no projection. The epiproct of N. longilobata and N. babai are membranous and lacking lateral projections (see fig. 34 in Shimizu, 1997) while the new species epiproct is oval in shape and lateral projection in the epiproct have well-developed three teeth on the tip of projection (Figs. 6–7). Tergum 10 of N. quadrituberata forms two pairs of protuberances and expanded upward to a knob-like projection (see figs. 43–44 in Shimizu, 1997), while new species have no projection. Illiesonemoura qianae Du, Zhao, & Rehman sp. nov. Type material: Holotype, 1♁, China, Yunnan Province, Deqin County, Baima Snow Mountain, 3471 m, N 35.2166 E 113.8300, 2009-VI-19, leg. Qian Yu-Han (ICYZU). Adult habitus: Head dark brown, antennae brown, pronotum brown, rectangular (Fig. 1A). Cervical gills are membranous and well developed (Fig. 1B). Wings subhyaline, with slight brown stripes, veins brown. Legs are primarily brown, with brown lines on the dorsal surface of the femora. Male: Forewing length 6.1 mm, hind wing length 5.2 mm. Terga 1–9 sclerotized in anterior margin. Tergum 9 concaved at median of anterior margin. Tergum 10 mostly sclerotized, medially slightly sclerotized with a shallow median concavity bearing scattered thick brown spines, mediolaterally with large paired projection bearing small spines on the apical area of projections and elevated in the lateral view. (Figs. 2A, 2C, 3A, 3C). Hypoproct broad basally, tapering to the pointed apex; vesicle short, length 2 × width. Paraprocts divided into 2 lobes; inner lobe sclerotized and slender; outer lobe sclerotized, sub-triangular, broad from base and tapered toward apex, tip curved upward, forming pointed two teeth (Figs. 2B–2C, 3B–3C). Epiproct short and wide, ventral sclerite membranous (Figs. 2A, 4A), bearing a horizontal stripe medially, possess a row of small spines on the lateral sides of horizontal stripe and forming a pair of linearly sclerotized stripe at the apical margins, apically with a pair of sub-oval sclerotized stripe (Figs. 2D, 4A). Epiproct dorsal sclerite with a pair of out curved lateral arms originating from the middle at base and two sclerotized median bars connected medially forming a C-shaped structure (Figs. 2B, 3B, 4B). Lateral sclerite membranous, medially with a large brown stripe and two apical stripe forming a U-shaped structure (Figs. 2C, 3C). Cerci long and distinctly sclerotized, generally parallel-sided and rounded, apex with a strong shoe-shaped structure with tapering tip (Fig. 2D). Female: Unknown. Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the collector of type specimen. Remarks: The new species is closely similar to the Illiesonemoura maluksari (Aubert, 1959) from Pakistan in general appearance and the shape of tergum 10. The new species can be distinguished from I. maluksari by the formation of epiproct and paraproct outer lobe. The epiproct of I. maluksari is more prolonged and bears two needle-like arms in the middle and laterally bearing a row of dark spines (see figs. 35–40 in Aubert, 1959), while the new species epiproct is different and without a row of spines (Fig. 4). Supplementary description: Male coloration mostly dark brown to black (Fig. 1A); area between eyes to ocellar triangle dark and ventrally most parts of head and thorax yellowish (Fig. 1A–B). Male metasternum and sterna 3–7 with setal brushes (Fig. 1A). Terga 1–7 unmodified. Sensilla basiconica patches occur both as a round dark spot present on posterior tergum 8 and a median longitudinal dark area of tergum 9 that is much denser (Fig. 2A). Hemitergal lobes are slender, hooklike, extending backward to the posterior margin of tergum 9 (Fig. 2A). Aedeagus membranous; basal half with paired patches of large spines mediolaterally on the swellings; distal half with two paired swellings (Fig. 2B–C), the apical pair are larger than the basal pair; apex with dense fine spines ventrally, and a pair of ventrolateral patches of thicker and long spines arranged in “C” shaped semicircles (Fig. 2D). Female coloration similar to male (Fig. 3A–B). Abdomen brown; sterna 6–8 slightly sclerotized medially. Subgenital plate with a pair of posterolateral lobes of which apex rounded and adjacent to each other; the notch between the lobes “Ω” shaped, darker than other parts of the plate (Fig. 4). Material examined: 12 males, 2 females, China: Fujian Province, Wuyishan City, Mount Wuyi, on the way from Sangang to Yiliping, Tongmu Bridge, 240 m, 27.746808 N, 117.688634 E, 2021-V-15, leg. Huo Qing-Bo, Zhao Meng-Yuan. Distribution: China (Zhejiang, Fujian). Remarks: In the area close to the type locality, our specimens ar e the onl y known Kamimuria with black body color and bright yellow anterior margin of wings, which best match the original description of Chu (1929) and Wu (1938). The species was considered as nomen dubium by Sivec & Stark (2008) and Stark & Sivec (2013) but listed as valid by Yang & Li (2018). Kamimuria tienmushanensis Wu, 1938 http://lsid.speciesfile.org/urn:lsid: Plecoptera.speciesfile.org:TaxonName:2348 (Figs. 5–14) Kamimuria tienmushanensis: Wu, 1938: 53; Sivec & Stark, 2008: 137, nomen dubium; Yang & Li, 2018: 32. Supplementary description: Male coloration mostly dark brown (Fig. 5A–C) to black (Fig. 5D). Male head with Tshaped dark spot on the ocellar area to anterior to the frontoclypeus (Figs. 6–7). Pronotum has paired bright patterns at the two sides of middle line (Figs. 6A–C, 7A), or completely dark brown (Fig. 7B–C). Metasternum and sterna 3–7 with setal brush (Figs. 5C–D). Abdomen brown (Figs. 8–10), terga 1–7 unmodified; terga 1–4 with pale pattern except the lateral margins, and the paler areas with “M” shape on terga 5–6 (Fig. 8). Terga 8–10 usually dark brown, with few paler parts. Sensilla basiconica patch occurs on median terga 8–9 (Figs. 9A–C, 10A–D), but that on tergum 8 with few sensillae or absent in some individuals (Figs. 9A, 9C). Hemitergal lobes slender, hook-like and straight, extending backward to the posterior margin of tergum 9, sometimes heavily curved outward (Figs. 8–10). Aedeagus membranous and simple in structure (Figs. 11–12); basal half with a paired patches of mediolateral swellings that covered by large spines (Figs. 11A–B, 12A–B, 12D–E); distal half with a pair of dorsal swellings covered by fine spines ventrally (Figs. 11C, 12C, 12F); apex finger-like (can be everted only by soaking for long time in KOH solution), without spines (Fig. 11A–C). Female coloration similar to males (Figs. 13A–B). Abdomen brown, sterna with paired round dark spots. Subgenital plate heavily sclerotized with a pair of posterolateral lobes of which apex rounded and adjacent to each other; the notch between the lobes is “V” shaped (Fig. 14). Nymph: Unknown. Adult habitus: See Wu (1938). The original illustrations of terminalia of type materials are shown in Fig. 1. Supplementary description: In the specimen from Qinghai, male coloration varies from dark brown to black (Fig. 2). Head mostly black, yellow spots only present between the hind ocelli and median occiput (Fig. 3A). Pronotum with a yellow median band (Fig. 3A). Posterior margin of male tergum 9 with a median swelling covered by a horizontal oval patch of sensilla basiconica; tergum 10 caudally constricted and extended upwards, apex bearing a triangular patch of sensilla (Fig. 4A–B). Paraproct subtriangular, inner base with darker spot; apex membrane but without obvious apical sclerite (Fig. 4C). Epiproct membranous, with a few sparse dorsal spines and dense ventral asperities (Figs. 3B–C, 5A–C). Penis membranous, bearing dense basal and subterminal spines (Fig. 5D). For the specimen from Sichuan, the male coloration is brownish (Fig. 6) and the pattern of head is similar with the male from Qinghai (Fig 7A). The posterior margin of tergum 9 and median sternum 9 have paler coloration (Figs. 7B–C, 8A–B). Paraprocts are darker on the base (Fig. 8C). Because these materials have been soaked in 75% alcohol for more than 10 years, the body color is much lighter than the fresh specimen from Qinghai. Females from Sichuan have coloration patterns that are similar to males (Figs. 9, 10A). The subgenital plates is sclerotized medially (Fig. 10B–C), with an outline same to the illustrations of Wu (1938) (Fig. 1). Nymph: Unknown. Mature egg: General color brown. Wide and trilateral, with three longitudinal ridges; surface except the ridges covered by dense asperities; each side of the egg with 3–6 short transverse rows of micropyles (Fig. 11A, C). Collar is a short brown ring, cylindrical with a broad base. Anchor flat, without massive stem, base evenly covered with large globular bodies (Fig. 11A–B). Distribution: China (Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan, Shanxi, Liaoning) (Wu 1938, Yang & Li 2018). Remarks: In Tianjun County, the sole male of P. microlobata was collected with several P. kozlovi Klapálek, 1912 and Tibetisoperla wangluyui together in the same environment. Perlodinella microlobata may emerge much later than P. kozlovi in general. In addition, the specimens of P. microlobata from Shanxi and Liaoning mentioned by Wu (1938) were all females, without collecting any associated males. Body color light yellow to white, without dark pattern (Fig. 2A–B); body smooth on surface, bearing sparse, short setae. Triocellate; compound eyes reduced into small spots, with length only three times that of the ocellus (Fig. 3A–B). Mouthparts mostly sclerotized. Lacinia short, inner edge on apex divided into 3 large teeth, followed by a row of hair brushes. Glossae slightly shorter than the paraglossae (Fig. 3C–E). Pronotum rectangular, typical of this family. The genus Sweltsa is a small to medium-sized stonefly with distinct coloured wings, giving the species the common name of green stoneflies. It belongs to the family Chloroperlidae. This genus includes more than 55 species world wide, 14 of which have been reported from China.A new species of the genus Sweltsa Ricker, 1943, Sweltsa liupanshana Rehman, Du & Huo sp. nov. from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Liupan Mountain, China is described; this is the second record of Sweltsa from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. In addition, the first female description and male supplementary description of Sweltsa hamula Chen & Du, 2017 from Sichuan Province are provided. Diagnosis, description and colour illustration of the new species and of Sweltsa hamula are provided and the morphological characteristics are compared with closely-related species.

Sweltsa lateoblonga Rehman, Du & Huo sp. nov. (Figs. 1–4) Adult habitus: Triocellate. General body color pale, yellow to brown in alcohol. Head pale brown, compound eyes black, ocelli greyish with black margins, anterior ocellus paler; an obscure interocellar brown spot present, antennae and palpi light brown (Fig. 1A). Pronotum with a solid median stripe bearing asymmetrical rugosities and covered with dark brown margins (Fig. 1A). Thoracic sclerite paler, mesonotum and metanotum have dark brown U-shaped markings; without a dark medial stripe in the middle (Fig. 2A). Wings transparent, legs pale. Abdominal terga 1–8 each bearing brown longitudinal stripes, tergum 1–4 dorsally with triangular stripe and laterally with brown bands, tergum 5–7 with trapezoidal stripe; tergum 8 stripe is rounded and smaller than the other stripes. Cerci pale brown, basal segment brown, terminal segments paler and covered with long setae (Fig. 2A). Male: Body length 9.0–10.0 mm, forewing length 7.5–8.0, hindwing length 6.5–7.0 (n = 7). Tergum 9 without any transverse process, anteriorly with paired brown spots and without median excavation on posterior margins (Fig. 1B). Tergum 10 with a pair of distinct dark brown transverse lateral bands, the medial area of the bands greatly enlarged in the shield-like darkly sclerotized basal anchor; the shield dorsally bears two sclerotized posterolateral arms, the anchor wider than long, and with broad typical trapezoidal membranous groove and paragential plates between hemiterga (Fig. 1B). Epiproct is broad, widely oblong, but longer than its basal width; medially slightly constricted, apically broad in dorsal view (Figs. 3A–B), the basal ring with dorsal and lateral bare areas (Fig. 3B); sclerotized dorsally, dark brown from base to the median area, apically yellowish. Basal sclerite of epiproct bears two oval shape patches; in lateral view, margins are much constricted from the base to the apical third, sub-apically wide and rounded (Figs. 3C–D). The apex is smooth, bearing a shiny triangular shape cap, but most of the dorsal and ventral surface is covered with golden brown, appressed setae (Figs. 3A–D). The aedeagus is completely membranous and subtriangular in shape (Fig. 1B). The dorsal and dorsolateral lobes are slightly rounded (Fig. 1C). The posterior portion of the aedeagus bears a pair of nipple-shaped lobes mesally, each covered with numerous long hairs (Fig. 1D). Female: Body length 9.5–10.5 mm, forewing length 8.0–9.0 mm, hindwing length 7.5–8.0 mm (n = 9). Habitus is generally similar to the male. Abdominal tergum 1–7 dorsally with medial stripes (Fig. 2B). The posterior margins of sternum 8 bear a subtriangular subgenital plate ventrally, reaching near the middle of sternum 9; the posterior tip of the subgenital plate is broadly rounded and connected to preceding segments that are slightly incised at the base (Figs. 4B–D). Nymph and egg: Unknown Type materials: Holotype male, China, Sichuan Province, Pingwu County, Wanglang, Nature Reserve, Changbaigou, 2016-VII-17, N 32.1577, E 104.0269, 2564 m, Leg. Du Yu-Zhou, Zhao Meng-Yuan, Qing-Bo Huo; Paratypes, 7 males, 9 females same data as for the holotype. Distribution: China (Sichuan Province). Etymology: The name of the new species refers to the shape of the epiproct that is widely oblong. The Latin “ lateoblonga ” means widely oblong. Remarks: The new species is closely similar to S. wui and S. yunnan Tierno de Figueroa & Fochetti, 2002. The new species can be distinguished from S. wui by the head, pronotum pigmentation, and the epiproct. The head of S. wui bears a distinct interocellar triangular spot and the pronotum has a dark median band (fig. 1 in Stark & Sivec 2009). In contrast, the head of the new species lacks a triangular spot and the pronotum bears a solid median line with asymmetrical rugosities (Fig. 1A). The base of the epiproct of S.wui is broad and rectangular dorsally then constricted from near base to apical third and apically widened (figs. 5–6 in Stark & Sivec 2009), while the new species epiproct base is circular, slightly widened towards the apex dorsally (Fig. 3A) and laterally much constricted almost to two-thirds of the epiproct and wider apically (Fig. 3D). The epiproct cap of new species is also different from S. wui. The epiproct cap of S. wui is circular, almost lying above the tip of the epiproct (figs. 6, 8 in Stark & Sivec 2009), while the new species with the rounded triangular cap, dorsally (Figs. 3A–B). The new species also show similar characteristics to S. yunnan. The epiproct of S. yunnan lacks an apical cap and is almost parallel from the base to the apex (figs. 1–4 in Tierno de Figueroa and Fochetti, 2002). The females of S. wui and S. yunnan are unknown, while the subgenital plate of S. lateoblonga sp. nov. is closely similar to S. insularis Zhiltzova & Levanidova 1978 (fig. 511 in Teslenko and Zhiltzova 2009).

The posterior portion of the aedeagus bears a pair of nipple-shaped lobes mesally, each covered with numerous long hairs (Fig. 1D). Female: Body length 9.5–10.5 mm, forewing length 8.0–9.0 mm, hindwing length 7.5–8.0 mm (n = 9). Habitus is generally similar to the male. Abdominal tergum 1–7 dorsally with medial stripes (Fig. 2B). The posterior margins of sternum 8 bear a subtriangular subgenital plate ventrally, reaching near the middle of sternum 9; the posterior tip of the subgenital plate is broadly rounded and connected to preceding segments that are slightly incised at the base (Figs. 4B–D). Nymph and egg: Unknown Type materials: Holotype male, China, Sichuan Province, Pingwu County, Wanglang, Nature Reserve, Changbaigou, 2016-VII-17, N 32.1577, E 104.0269, 2564 m, Leg. Etymology: The name of the new species refers to the shape of the epiproct that is widely oblong. The Latin “ lateoblonga ” means widely oblong. Remarks: The new species is closely similar to S. wui and S. yunnan Tierno de Figueroa & Fochetti, 2002. The new species can be distinguished from S. wui by the head, pronotum pigmentation, and the epiproct. The head of S. wui bears a distinct interocellar triangular spot and the pronotum has a dark median band (fig. 1 in Stark & Sivec 2009). In contrast, the head of the new species lacks a triangular spot and the pronotum bears a solid median line with asymmetrical rugosities (Fig. 1A). The base of the epiproct of S.wui is broad and rectangular dorsally then constricted from near base to apical third and apically widened (figs. 5–6 in Stark & Sivec 2009), while the new species epiproct base is circular, slightly widened towards the apex dorsally (Fig. 3A) and laterally much constricted almost to two-thirds of the epiproct and wider apically (Fig. 3D). The epiproct cap of new species is also different from S. wui. The epiproct cap of S. wui is circular, almost lying above the tip of the epiproct (figs. 6, 8 in Stark & Sivec 2009), while the new species with the rounded triangular cap, dorsally (Figs. 3A–B). The new species also show similar characteristics to S. yunnan. The epiproct of S. yunnan lacks an apical cap and is almost parallel from the base to the apex (figs. 1–4 in Tierno de Figueroa and Fochetti, 2002). Sweltsa sp. AZH-1 (Figs. 5–8) Adult habitus: Triocellate. General color green, pale yellow in ethanol. Head pale with black circular spot, compound eyes dark, ocellar margins with black rings (Fig. 5A). Antennae pale, but distal flagella become brown. The pronotum disk bears a dark black medial stripe (Fig. 5A). Mesonotum and metanotum medially bear a dark brown U-shaped mark with a dark medial stripe (Fig. 6A). Wings membrane transparent, legs pale. Abdominal tergum 1 with anterior and lateral margins brown, terga 2–4 with a wide rectangular median stripe, terga 5–8 with triangular median stripe; stripe of tergum 8 covering an anterior one-third of the segment. Terga 2–8 each with a pair of distinct pale median spots (Fig. 6A). Cerci pale consist of nine segments and are covered with long brown setae. Male: Body length 9.5–10.5 mm, forewing length 8.0– 8.5 mm, hindwing length 7.0– 7.5 mm (n = 2). Tergum 9 is slightly sclerotized, anteriorly with two connected median brown elliptical stripes, transverse ridge absent (Fig. 5B). In ventral aspect, tergum 9 forming a trapezoidal subgenital plate, posterior margins truncate (Fig. 5D). Tergum 10 with sclerotized transverse bands, the medial portion between the bands greatly enlarged in a shield-like basal anchor, the anchor much longer than wide and with a typical membranous groove (Fig. 5B). Epiproct narrow and long, rod-like in the dorsal aspect, sub-apically slightly widened with a rounded tip; apex smooth, bearing a sclerotized cap (Fig. 7A); the cap is inflated upward in lateral aspects. Most of the dorsal and ventral surface is covered with brown appressed setae and mostly parallel-sided in outline and subapically widened laterally (Figs. 7A–D). Female: Body length 10.0 mm, forewing length 8.5 mm, hindwing length 7.5 mm (n = 1). Habitus is generally similar to the male, but the ocellar area and frons are darker than the male (Fig. 8A). Abdominal tergum stripes are the same as males except for tergum 8 with median brown elliptical stripe; lateral dark patches also present anteriorly on segments 2–4 (Fig. 6B). The posterior margin of sternum 8 bears a rounded subgenital plate in ventral view, reaching near the half of the sternum 9 and weakly sclerotized. The subgenital plate posteromedially bears long hairs; the posterior tip of the plate is not rounded and possesses a minute notch in the middle (Figs. 8C–D). Nymph and egg: Unknown Material examined: 2 males, 1 female, China, Sichuan Province, Anzihe Nature Reserve, Shaoyaogou, 2016- VI-20, N 30. 8097, E 103.2194, 1598 m, Leg. Zhi-Teng Chen. Distribution: China (Sichuan Province). Remarks: These specimens are most similar to S. wui Stark & Sivec 2009. An additional study, especially examining the type specimens of S. wui, is needed for specific placement because S. wui and our specimens were both collected from Sichuan Province and are closely similar. However, we noted some morphological differences from S. wui as follows. In our specimens, the head bears a black circular spot (Fig 5A), while the S. wui has a triangular spot (fig. 1 in Stark & Sivec, 2009). The epiproct of our specimens are longer, narrower, and subapically slightly widened than the previous description (compare our Fig. 7A–D with figs. 2–7 in Stark & Sivec, 2009). A distinct dark medial stripe in the U-shape pattern of mesonotae and metanotae is also missing in the S. wui description. In Stark & Sivec (2009), they described the only male of S. wui and indicated that it could be placed in another genus. We also noted that the drawing and SEM plates provided for S. wui, specifically in the shape of epiproct, have few variations. To clarify this confusion, we tried our best to check the type specimens to avoid confusion in identifying our specimens as the lowest possible taxa. Unfortunately, we did not check the types as they are present out of China. Consequently, highlighting the above morphological differences in our new specimen, we tentatively consider this as Sweltsa sp. for the time being, because both samples were collected from the same province. In addition, there is no female record available for S. wui and our female specimen subgenital plate is rounded and bears long hairs medially (Fig. 8D) and is closely similar to S. colorata Zhiltzova & Levanidova, 1978. The subgenital plate of S. colorata is subtriangular, the apex is truncate, and covered with a patch of hairs (fig. 507 in Teslenko & Zhiltzova 2009) which easily distinguish these two females. Haploperla tuanjiena Du & Chen, 2016 Material examined: We re-checked and redescribed the type material of Chen & Du (2016b). The type locality is Sichuan Province, Kangding, Xinduqiao, N 30.0738, E 101.8313, 3461 m (Fig. 9). Male: Body length 5.5–6.0 mm, forewing length 6.0– 6.5 mm, hindwing length 5.5–6.0 mm (n = 5). Medium-sized Haploperla. Triocellate, Body color is pale yellow; head yellowish and intraocellar area light brown; compound eyes dark black. Pronotum yellow, posteriorly and anteriorly with a brown stripe on a disc (Fig. 6A). Tergum 9 posterior margins were slightly plump and covered with hairs. Tergum 10 divided, median portion forming a triangular structure to the base of epiproct. Epiproct subtriangular in dorsal view, inflated in lateral view, and anterolateral margin strongly sclerotized; posterodorsal area membranous; apex of epiproct sharp (Fig. 6B–D). Aedeagus enlarged, membranous rounded, dorsally covered with scattered small spines, ventrolaterally with a pair of sclerotized stylus and with a patch of sclerotized spines, the patch of spines in ventral view look like ear-shape on both sides (Fig. 7A–D). Female: Body length 7.0 mm, forewing length 7.5 mm, hindwing length 6.0 mm (n = 1). Head, pronotum disk, body color and pattern similar to males (Fig. 8A). Terga 1–8 dorsally with large oval, brownish spots medially (Fig. 8B). The small subgenital plate originating from tergum 8, the posterior margins are bluntly rounded (Fig. 8C–D). Remarks: According to Chen & Du (2016b), this species is closely related to H. maritima Zhiltzova & Levanidova, 1978, known from the Russian Far East and H. longicauda Zwick, 1977 from Bhutan. Herein, we add that this species is also close to H. choui Li & Yao, 2013 reported from Shaanxi, Qinling Mountains. The head and pronotum of H. choui are darkly pigmented (see Li et al. 2013: figs. 3, 4), which is different from H. tuanjiena, but the epiproct and aedeagus are close to H. tuanjiena. The aedeagus of H. choui is also with a pair of stylus ventrolaterally, but a band of dense setae is present in the dorsal aspect. This band of dense setae is not present in H. tuanjiena; the head and pronotum are also not darkly pigmented (Figs. 6A–D, 7A–D), which easily differentiates these species. In the original description of Chen & Du (2016b), the plates are not obvious, especially with regards to the epiproct and which may lead to misidentification in the future. The dorsal scattered spines on aedeagus and obvious lateral scales are absent (see Chen & Du, 2016b: figs. 4–6). Pronotum disk pale yellow, bearing an obscure median band, margins of disk brown, mesonotum and metanotum medially bearing dark brown U-shaped patterns with a strong mesal prong in the middle, legs pale yellowish (Fig. 1A). Hyaline wings, Rs of both wings are branched, near base, A3 of forewing fused with A2. The anal field of hindwing is small and folded with three veins. The abdominal terga 1–8 each has a median longitudinal brown stripe; tergum 8 median stripe is smaller than other segments. Cerci yellowish-brown covered with long dark brown setae. Male: Body length 5.0–6.0 mm, forewing length 6.2–6.6 mm, hindwing length 5.8–6.2 mm (n = 10). Tergum 9 slightly concave, yellowish, bearing long thick brown hairs, without posterior lobe; a dark brown medial broad Y-shaped patch arises from posterior margins of tergum 9 to tergum 10 beneath the epiproct. Tergum 10 divided medially bearing brown hairs (Fig. 1B–C). Epiproct short, outline is subtriangular with slightly rounded margins dorsally (Fig. 1D). The dorsal anterior and anteroventral portions of the epiproct are strongly sclerotized, while the posterodorsal area is membranous, covered with tiny setae, and the epiproct apex is rounded (Fig. 1E). Aedeagus long, membranous and curved ventrally, apex of aedeagus divided into two lobes, tips bearing small thick spines extended through the anterior side of aedeagus; ventrally with two median elliptical rounded lobes, lobes dorsally and ventrally covered with small spines, each lobe connected with dark sclerotized stylus, in lateral view the stylus is S-shaped. The basal part of aedeagus is membranous, dorsally and ventrally covered with spines, medially with two dark brown sclerotized bands (Fig. 2A–E). Female: Body length 6.5–7.5 mm, forewing length 7.0– 7.5 mm, hindwing length 6.0– 6.5 mm (n = 10). General body color is similar to males. Head and thoracic segments same as male. The abdominal terga 1–7 each medially with dark brown oval stripes. However, tergum 8 with paler brown stripes and tergum 9 and 10 without brown stripes and covered with fine hairs. Abdominal sterna and terminalia are without any markings. Tergum 8 ventrally with distinct, broad subgenital plate, the plate originates from the median portion of tergum 8 to posterior portion of tergum 9, posterior margins of subgenital plate protruding, forming a bluntly rounded lobe and clothed with long pale hairs (Fig. 3A–D). Egg: Length ca. 0.32 mm, width ca. 0.20 mm, collar width ca. 0.05 mm. The collar of the egg with a single row. The chorion surface is rough and irregularly covered with tiny raised hexagonal-like projections (Fig. 3E–G). Nymph: Unknown. Remarks: This species was reported for the first time by Stark & Sivec (2009) from Sichuan Province, Pitiao River, Balangshan Pass. According to Stark & Sivec (2009), this species is closely related to Haploperla lepnevae and H. ussurica Navás, 1934, formerly reported from northeastern China. Both species have triangular-shaped epiproct with narrow tips but are easily distinguished from H. valentinae based on epiproct structure and aedeagus. We agree with Stark & Sivec (2009) that this species is closely related to the above two species. Besides these species, we found that the morphology of H. triangulata and H. datongensis, especially the epiproct and body pigmentation, are also closely similar to H. valentinae. For confirmation, we checked the type materials of H. datongensis (Fig. 4A–D) and H. triangulata (Fig. 5A–D) from Qinghai Province (Chen & Du 2016a, Chen & Du 2016b) present at ICYZU. We found that the holotype morphology of both species is similar to the H. valentinae (Fig. 1A–F). It is worth noting that the male of these species exhibits some minor differences, namely that the posterodorsal area of the epiproct of H. valentinae (see Stark & Sivec, 2009: figs. 12–13) and H. datongensis (Fig. 4B) bear a sparse patch of short setae while the holotype of H. triangulata (Fig. 5B) and the specimens collected from Sichuan Province (Fig. 1B–C) have fewer setae, which are not obvious. We found that the aedeagus of the holotypes of H. datongensis and H. triangulata (Figs. 4C, 5C–D) are the same as the H. valentinae collected from Sichuan Province (Fig. 2A– E). The illustration of aedeagus in the description of Chen & Du (2016a, figs. 5–6; 2016b, figs. 15–16) lacks some essential morphological characters. On the other hand, there is no aedeagus description present in the description of Stark & Sivec (2009), which mislead the identification of these species in the past. The female subgenital plate of H. valentinae (Fig. 3C) and H. datongensis (Fig. 4D) are similar, but the subgenital plate of H. triangulata extends more posteriorly (Fig. 5E). This minute morphological difference maybe due to age, environment, or individual differences. Thus, we provide the detailed revised description of the H. valentinae Stark & Sivec (2009) from Sichuan Province with new images illustration, with H. triangulata and H. datongensis placed as new synonyms. Sweltsa is a genus of green stoneflies in the family Chloroperlidae and is distributed throughout the Nearctic and East Palaearctic Regions. As they are sensitive to pollutants, they are often used as an indicator species for determining the quality of water bodies. There are around 57 species of this genus worldwide and 11 of those have been identified from China. A new species of the Alloperlini genus Sweltsa Ricker, 1943, Sweltsa ligula Rehman, Huo & Du sp. n. is described from Kuankuoshui National Natural Reserve, Suiyang County, Guizhou Province, southwest China. This is the first report of the family Chloroperlidae from Guizhou Province. Diagnosis, description of male, female and nymph, illustration of terminalia and similarities with closely-related species are provided and discussed.

Mesonemoura diqinga Rehman Du & Zhao, sp. nov. (Figs. 6–8) Adult habitus: General body color dark brown. Head and antennae dark brown to black, pronotum brown (Figs. 6A–B). Thorax dark brown to black, legs brown, femora with dark brown band at the base, rest of the leg brown with fine hairs, tarsi dark brown. Posterior segments of abdomen dark brown, anterior segments brownish. Last three segments of abdomen with fine and long hairs (Figs. 6C–D). Wing membrane subhyaline, with dark brown venation. Male terminalia: Tergum IX is darkly sclerotized, with median deep indentation towards anterior margin but without protuberant lobes (Figs. 6C, 8A). Tergum IX with dense fine hairs and tiny stout spines along the deep indentation of the posterior margin (Figs. 6C, 8A). Sternum IX with hypoproct wide at the base and gradually tapering towards the apex, tip tubular. Vesicle longer than half length of hypoproct, its length is 3X of its width, lateral margins are strongly sclerotized (Figs. 6D, 8B). Tergum X darkly sclerotized, covered with tiny fine hairs (Figs. 6C, 8A). Cercus is much longer than its width and considerably sclerotized. Epiproct long, base slightly wider than its apical half, with a darkly sclerotized lateral band, and dorsal sclerite with thin medial sclerotized band deviating in two thin lateral bands in the apex. Apical flagellum inserted between the two darkly sclerotized bands, long and slender, tapering slightly towards the apex, curved in dorsal view with bifurcate apex as seen in lateral view (Figs. 6C–D, 7A, 8A, C). Paraproct is divided into three lobes: inner lobe is broad, short and acute, darkly sclerotized; median lobe darkly sclerotized ventrally, laterally membranous, wide at base and gradually narrowing towards the acute apex, bear many fine hairs and bent outwards; outer lobe is moderately sclerotized, with rounded apex armed with several fine hairs, the same length as median lobe (Figs. 7B, 8D). Female: Unknown. Qing-Bo Huo; Paratypes, 4 males, same data as for the holotype. Distribution: China (Yunnan Province). Etymology: The new species is named after its type locality, Diqing. Diagnosis: This species is characterized by the tergum 9, which has a deep posteromedial notch but not produced in protuberances, flagellum of epiproct curved leftwards in more than a full circle and has a bifurcate apex in lateral view, and the paraproct median lobe is long, darkly sclerotized and bearing long, fine hairs but lacks a hook, while the inner lobe is short and broad. Remarks: The new species is closely similar to Mesonemoura longiflagellata Xiao & Qian, 2019 (in: Xiao et al. 2019) from Yunnan and M. sichuanensis Du & Ji, 2015 (in: Du et al. 2015) from Sichuan province in the general appearance and shape. The new species can be distinguished from M. longiflagellata by the shorter epiproct flagellum, paraproct inner lobe without bifurcate structure on the tip and median lobe without a row of spines on the tip. We checked the paratypes of M. sichuanensis which are present in the insect collection of Yangzhou University. The new species can be distinguished from the latter by tergum 9 which have a deep posteromedial notch but not produced posteriorly, flagellum of epiproct in lateral view have bifurcate apex, the paraproct median lobe is long, darkly sclerotized and bearing fine hairs but lacks hook and inner lobe is short and broad.

Amphinemura oblonga Rehman, Du & Zhao sp. nov. (Figs 1���5) Adult habitus. General body color brown to dark brown. Head and antennae black, pronotum dark brown with scattered structure (Figs. 2A���B). Legs dark brown, femora and tibia paler towards the apex, tarsi dark brown. Wing membrane subhyaline, venation brown. Abdomen brownish, posterior segments 9���10 of abdomen dark brown with tiny pale hairs (Fig. 1). Male terminalia: Tergum IX dark brown and weekly sclerotized, moderately constricted medially with slight triangular anterior and posterior indentations, with few dark brown spines on posterior margins (Figs. 2C, 5A). Slender claviform vesicle present on Sternum IX, basally constricted, medially wide and tapered toward tip. Hypoproct quadrangular basally, progressively narrowing towards apex with round tabular tip (Figs. 2D, 5B). Tergum X sclerotized, constricted anteriorly and posteriorly in the middle, basal part of posterior portion weekly sclerotized, posteromedial margins sclerotized with a median concavity that is bearing two anterolateral spines nearly above the apex of epiproct (Figs. 2C, 5A). Cercus is short and slightly sclerotized. Epiproct subrectangular in shape, dorsal sclerite with two dorsolateral broad bands extended from the base and gradually tapering towards apex, making finger-like projection on tip; tip bifurcate, medially and laterally membranous. Ventral sclerite of epiproct strongly sclerotized and medially slightly expanded, bearing a row of numerous large, thick and dark spines (Figs. 3A���F, 5E���F). Paraproct divided into three lobes, inner lobe triangular in shape, slightly sclerotized with an apical dark strip forming an acute tip. Median lobe narrow and long, distinctly sclerotized, bearing three to four tiny apical spines and strongly curved upward, towards dorsal side of terminalia. Outer lobe is slender and long, distinctly sclerotized, bent outwards, bearing five to six dark thick spines on its apex (Fig. 3B, 5D). Female: General body pattern, color and cervical gills similar to males. Sternum VII with wide, concave and dark brown, semicircular pregenital plate. Sternum VIII with elongated, dark brown and strongly sclerotized trapezoid subgenital plate, medially divided in its nearly full length by a narrow notch of parallel sides, extending up to Sternum IX (Figs. 4A, C). Sternum IX dorsally with long hairs and strongly sclerotized (Fig. 4B). Numerous dark and thick spines are present on the ventral keel of ventral sclerite of epiproct. The paraproct median lobe is long and curved upward, while the outer lobe is slender with thick, dark spines posteriorly towards its apex. Remarks: The new species is closely similar to Amphinemura bihamata Li & Yang, 2008 (in: Li & Yang, 2008) from Sichuan province in general appearance and shape. The new species can be distinguished from A. bihamata by the shape of epiproct and the paraproct outer lobe. The epiproct of A. bihamata have a pair of dark medial bar producing round apex, while new species have finger-like projection bearing bifurcate structure on the tip, and in lateral view the epiproct is bearing a row of long and thick spines which easily distinguish the new species. The outer lobe of A. bihamata is upcurved, resulting in hook shape, while the new species outer lobe is not upcurved and bearing more than five large, thick spines. The new species is also close to A. ovalis Li & Yang, 2005 (in: Li & Yang, 2005) from Sichuan province in general appearance and shape. The two species can be distinguished by details of the paraproct: the median lobe of A. ovalis curved laterally, and its oval apex bearing several rows of black thick spines. Mesonemoura diqinga Rehman Du & Zhao, sp. nov. (Figs. 6���8) Adult habitus: General body color dark brown. Head and antennae dark brown to black, pronotum brown (Figs. 6A���B). Thorax dark brown to black, legs brown, femora with dark brown band at the base, rest of the leg brown with fine hairs, tarsi dark brown. Posterior segments of abdomen dark brown, anterior segments brownish. Last three segments of abdomen with fine and long hairs (Figs. 6C���D). Wing membrane subhyaline, with dark brown venation. Male terminalia: Tergum IX is darkly sclerotized, with median deep indentation towards anterior margin but without protuberant lobes (Figs. 6C, 8A). Tergum IX with dense fine hairs and tiny stout spines along the deep indentation of the posterior margin (Figs. 6C, 8A). Sternum IX with hypoproct wide at the base and gradually tapering towards the apex, tip tubular. Vesicle longer than half length of hypoproct, its length is 3X of its width, lateral margins are strongly sclerotized (Figs. 6D, 8B). Tergum X darkly sclerotized, covered with tiny fine hairs (Figs. 6C, 8A). Cercus is much longer than its width and considerably sclerotized. Epiproct long, base slightly wider than its apical half, with a darkly sclerotized lateral band, and dorsal sclerite with thin medial sclerotized band deviating in two thin lateral bands in the apex. Apical flagellum inserted between the two darkly sclerotized bands, long and slender, tapering slightly towards the apex, curved in dorsal view with bifurcate apex as seen in lateral view (Figs. 6C���D, 7A, 8A, C). Paraproct is divided into three lobes: inner lobe is broad, short and acute, darkly sclerotized; median lobe darkly sclerotized ventrally, laterally membranous, wide at base and gradually narrowing towards the acute apex, bear many fine hairs and bent outwards; outer lobe is moderately sclerotized, with rounded apex armed with several fine hairs, the same length as median lobe (Figs. 7B, 8D).
