Highlights: [•] A cross-sectional study of female chronic pelvic pain (CPP) in Denmark. [•] The prevalence of CPP was 11% in women ≥18 years; 13.6% in women aged 18–49 years. [•] CPP of a moderate to severe intensity was prevalent in 6.2% of the included women. [•] Four factors independently associated with female CPP were identified.
