The article is the final part of the three-part study on the variations in the number of bristles in the female frenulum of moths of the Tortricinae subfamily. It notes that the number of bristles in females varies from one to eight and often is asymmetrical in 19% of analyzed specimens. It presents the bristle counts in the frenulums of groups such as Epitymbiini, Orthocomotis Dognin, and the Mictopsichia Hübner groups, and suggests that the number of bristles may be related to moth size.
