This result is obtained using techniques related to measures of noncompactness together with the concept of Meir–Keeler condensing operators, considering the respective Green's function corresponding to the system. The purpose of this paper is to study the controllability in the α-norm for some impulsive partial functional integrodifferential equation with infinite delay in Banach space. To do this, we give sufficient conditions ensuring the controllability by assuming that the undelayed part admits a resolvent operator in the sense of Grimmer and that the delayed part is continuous with respect to the fractional power of the generator. AbstractIn this paper, we introduced a new type of cyclic (noncyclic) mappings, called Jaggi relatively nonexpansive mappings and use to investigate the existence of best proximity points (pairs) in the framework of reflexive (strictly convex) Banach spaces by using a geometric concept of proximal normal structure. We also present a best proximity version of Schauder’s fixed point problem for non-self mappings. Finally, we prove the existence of a common best proximity point for an arbitrary family of cyclic relatively u-continuous mappings which are compact and then we obtain a generalization of Markov-Kakutani’s theorem. A new class of non-self mappings, called proximal condensing operators, is introduced and used to investigate the existence of best proximity points for non-self mappings in reflexive Banach spaces by applying an appropriate measure of noncompactness. In this paper, we prove weak and strong convergence theorems for a new class of (η , β) -enriched strictly pseudononspreading ((η , β) -ESPN) maps, more general than that studied by Kurokawa and W. Takahashi in the setup of real Hilbert spaces. Further, by means of a robust auxiliary map incorporated in our theorems, the strong convergence of the sequence generated by Halpern-type iterative algorithm is proved thereby resolving in the affirmative the open problem raised by Kurokawa and Takahashi in their concluding remark for the case in which the map ℑ is averaged. The purpose of our paper is to present a few convergence results for the Krasnoselskii–Mann iteration and also the modified Krasnoselskii–Mann iteration used for approximating the fixed point of k-strictly pseudo contractive map in the Banach space, which can be derived from the corresponding convergence theorems in the class of non-expansive maps. Also, using the enrichment techniques for contractive type map T, i.e., the averaged operator T λ (u) = (1 - λ) u + λ T u , where λ ∈ (0 , 1 ] , we identified that pseudo-contractive and demi-contractive maps are an unsaturated class of mappings in the Banach space. In this paper, we study a class of variational inequality problems the constraint set of which is the set of common solutions of a finite family of operator equations, involving hemi-continuous accretive operators on a reflexive and strictly convex Banach space with a Gâteaux differentiable norm. We present a sequential regularization method of Lavrentiev type and an iterative regularization one in combination with an inertial term to speed up convergence. The strong convergence of the methods is proved without the co-coercivity imposed on any operator in the family. An application of our results to solving the split common fixed point problem with pseudocontractive and nonexpansive operators is given with computational experiments for illustration. In this article, we study the structure of a multiple variable mapping. Indeed, we reduce the system of several mixed additive-quadratic equations defining a multivariable mapping to obtain a single functional equation, say, the multimixed additive-quadratic equation. We also show that such mappings under some conditions can be multi-additive, multi-quadratic and multi-additive-quadratic. Moreover, we establish the Hyers–Ulam stability of the multimixed additive-quadratic equation, using the so-called direct (Hyers) method. Additionally, we present a concrete example (the numerical approximation) regarding the stability of some two variable mappings into real numbers. In this work, we proposed some generalized Darbo type fixed point theorem by employing the concept of generalized operators and measure of non-compactness within the framework of partial order Banach spaces. Some fixed point theorems and their consequences are presented as part of our exploration. These theorems encompass the presentation of various fixed point theorems and the subsequent implications they entail. Further, we demonstrate the practical application of our findings by establishing the existence of solutions for delay differential equations. To substantiate our conclusions, we provide numerical estimations based on a real-world example. In uniformly convex Banach spaces, we study within this research Fibonacci–Ishikawa iteration for monotone asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. In addition to demonstrating strong convergence, we establish weak convergence result of the Fibonacci–Ishikawa sequence that generalizes many results in the literature. If the norm of the space is monotone, our consequent result demonstrates the convergence type to the weak limit of the sequence of minimizing sequence of a function. One of our results characterizes a family of Banach spaces that meet the weak Opial condition. Collage Theorem provides a bound for the distance between an element of a given space and a fixed point of a self-map on that space, in terms of the distance between the point and its image. We give in this paper some results of Collage type for Reich mutual contractions in b-metric and strong b-metric spaces. We give upper and lower bounds for this distance, in terms of the constants of the inequality involved in the definition of the contractivity. Reich maps contain the classical Banach contractions as particular cases, as well as the maps of Kannan type, and the results obtained are very general. The middle part of the article is devoted to the invertibility of linear operators. In particular we provide criteria for invertibility of operators acting on quasi-normed spaces. Our aim is the extension of the Casazza-Christensen type conditions for the existence of inverse of a linear map defined on a quasi-Banach space, using different procedures. The results involve either a single map or two operators. The latter case provides a link between the properties of both mappings. The last part of the article is devoted to study the construction of fractal curves in Bochner spaces, initiated by the first author in a previous paper. The objective is the definition of fractal curves valued on Banach spaces and Banach algebras. We provide further results on the fractal convolution of operators, defined in the same reference, considering in this case the nonlinear operators. We prove that some properties of the initial maps are inherited by their convolutions, if some conditions on the elements of the associated iterated function system are satisfied. In the last section of the paper we use the invertibility criteria given before in order to obtain perturbed fractal spanning systems for quasi-normed Bochner spaces composed of Banach-valued integrable maps. In this paper, an inertial subgradient extragradient algorithm is proposed to solve the pseudomonotone variational inequality problems in Banach space. This iterative scheme employs a new line-search rule. Strong convergence theorems for the proposed algorithms are established under the assumptions that the operators are non-Lipschitz continuous. We study two Bregman projection methods for solving variational inequality problems in real reflexive Banach spaces. Our methods have simple and elegant structures, and they require only one Bregman projection onto the feasible set and one evaluation of the cost operator at each iteration. We prove that these methods converge weakly when the cost operator is pseudomonotone on the entire space and that they converge strongly when the cost operator is strongly pseudomonotone only on the feasible set. Extensions of our proposed methods to mixed variational inequality problems are also given. In this paper, we introduce a new Bregman extragradient method with a different line-search process for solving variational inequality problems in reflexive Banach spaces. Precisely, we prove that the sequence generated by our proposed iterative algorithm converges strongly to an element of the solution sets of variational inequality problems. In this paper, we focus on the solution of a class of monotone inclusion problems in reflexive Banach spaces. To reflect the geometry of the space and the operator, a more general proximal point iterative algorithm with Bregman divergence is proposed and some strong convergence results for the proposed scheme under standard assumptions are obtained. Meanwhile, the convex optimization problems and the critical point problems are studied in the applications, and the recovery of the sparse signal is simulated in the numerical experiments. In this paper, we prove the following generalization of the classical Darbo fixed point principle : Let X be a Banach space and µ be a montone measure of noncompactness on X which satisfies the generalized Cantor intersection property. Let C be a nonempty bounded closed convex subset of X and T : C → C be a continuous mapping such that for any countable set Ω ⊂ C, we have µ(T(Ω)) ≤ kµ(Ω), where k is a constant, 0 ≤ k < 1. Then T has at least one fixed point in C. The proof is based on a combined use of topological methods and partial ordering techniques and relies on the Schauder and the Knaster-Tarski fixed point principles.

In this paper, we study the split common fixed point problem for a finite family of demimetric mappings and a finite family of Bregman relatively nonexpansive mappings in p-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. We prove a strong convergence theorem of Halpern's type iteration for finding a solution of the split common fixed point problem. In this paper we consider the Navier–Stokes–Brinkman equations, which constitute one of the most common nonlinear models utilized to simulate viscous fluids through porous media, and propose and analyze a Banach spaces-based approach yielding new mixed finite element methods for its numerical solution. In addition to the velocity and pressure, the strain rate tensor, the vorticity, and the stress tensor are introduced as auxiliary unknowns, and then the incompressibility condition is used to eliminate the pressure, which is computed afterwards by a postprocessing formula depending on the stress and the velocity. The resulting continuous formulation becomes a nonlinear perturbation of, in turn, a perturbed saddle point linear system, which is then rewritten as an equivalent fixed-point equation whose operator involved maps the velocity space into itself. The well-posedness of it is then analyzed by applying the classical Banach fixed point theorem, along with a smallness assumption on the data, the Babuška–Brezzi theory in Banach spaces, and a slight variant of a recently obtained solvability result for perturbed saddle point formulations in Banach spaces as well. The resulting Galerkin scheme is momentum-conservative. Its unique solvability is analyzed, under suitable hypotheses on the finite element subspaces, using a similar fixed-point strategy as in the continuous problem. A priori error estimates are rigorously derived, including also that for the pressure. We show that PEERS and AFW elements for the stress, the velocity, and the rotation, together with piecewise polynomials of a proper degree for the strain rate tensor, yield stable discrete schemes. Then, the approximation properties of these subspaces and the Céa estimate imply the respective rates of convergence. Finally, we include two and three dimensional numerical experiments that serve to corroborate the theoretical findings, and these tests illustrate the performance of the proposed mixed finite element methods. We introduce a large class of contractive mappings, called Suzuki–Berinde type contraction. We show that any Suzuki–Berinde type contraction has a fixed point and characterizes the completeness of the underlying normed space. A fixed point theorem for multivalued mappings is also obtained. In this paper, we introduce some user-friendly versions of integral-type fixed-point results and give some modifications of the classical Banach contraction principle by constructing a special type of contractive restrictions of integral forms for weak contraction mappings defined on 1 E -complete multiplicative partial cone metric spaces over Banach algebras and formulate some existence and uniqueness results regarding the fixed-point theorems using some integrative conditions. In this paper, we propose two inertial algorithms with a new self-adaptive step size for approximating a solution of the split common null-point problem in the framework of Banach spaces. The step sizes are adaptively updated over each iteration by a simple process without the prior knowledge of the operator norm of the bounded linear operator. Under suitable conditions, we prove the weak-convergence results for the proposed algorithms in p-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Finally, we give several numerical results in both finite- and infinite-dimensional spaces to illustrate the efficiency and advantage of the proposed methods over some existing methods. We compute the numerical solution of the Bratu's boundary value problem (BVP) on a Banach space setting. To do this, we embed a Green's function into a new two-step iteration scheme. After this, under some assumptions, we show that this new iterative scheme converges to a sought solution of the one-dimensional non-linear Bratu's BVP. Furthermore, we show that the suggested new iterative scheme is essentially weak w 2 -stable in this setting. We perform some numerical computations and compare our findings with some other iterative schemes of the literature. In this paper, motivated by Reich contraction and tool of measure of noncompactness, some generalizations of Reich, Kannan, Darbo, Sadovskii, and Krasnoselskii type fixed point results are presented by considering a pair of maps A, B on a nonempty closed subset M of a Banach space X into X. The existence of a solution to the equation A x + B x = x , where A is k-set contractive and B is a generalized Reich contraction, is established. As applications, it is established that the main result of this paper can be applied to learn conditions under which a solution of a nonlinear integral equation exists. Further we explain this phenomenon with the help of a practical example to approximate such solutions by using fixed point techniques. In this paper, we introduce two modified Tseng's extragradient algorithms with a new generalized adaptive stepsize for solving monotone variational inequalities (VI) in reflexive Banach spaces. The advantage of our methods is that stepsizes do not require prior knowledge of the Lipschitz constant of the cost mapping. Based on Bregman projection-type methods, we prove weak and strong convergence of the proposed algorithms to a solution of VI. Let E be a real 2-uniformly convex Banach space with topological dual E ∗ . We prove weak convergence of the forward-reflected-backward splitting method to a solution of inclusion of sum of two monotone operators. Moreover, we give a variant of the method in which the step size does not depend on the Lipschitz constant of one of the operators. In this paper, we combine the classical subgradient extragradient method with the Bregman projection method for solving variational inequality problems in reflexive Banach spaces. Specifically, we set two different parameters in the two-step projections, as opposed to consistent parameters in other results. Our main goal in this article is to investigate the Hyers–Ulam–Rassias stability (HURS) for a type of integral equation called Volterra integral equation with delay (VIE-D). First, by considering special functions such as the Wright function (WR), Mittag–Leffler function (ML), Gauss hypergeometric function (GH), H -Fox function (H -F), and also by introducing the aggregation function, we select the best control function by performing numerical calculations to investigate the stability of the desired equation. In the following, using the selected optimal function, i.e., the minimum function, we prove the existence of a unique solution and the HURS of the VI-D equation in the matrix-valued fuzzy space (MVFS) with two different intervals. In this work, we discuss the approximate controllability of some nonlinear partial functional integrodifferential equations with nonlocal initial condition in Hilbert spaces. We assume that the corresponding linear part is approximately controllable. The results are obtained by using fractional power theory and α-norm, the measure of noncompactness and the Mönch fixed-point theorem, and the theory of analytic resolvent operators for integral equations. As a result, we obtain a generalization of the work of Mahmudov [N. I. Mahmudov, Approximate controllability of evolution systems with nonlocal conditions, Nonlinear Anal. 68 2008, 3, 536–546], without assuming the compactness of the resolvent operator. In this paper, we introduce a three-step composite implicit iteration process for approximating the common fixed point of three uniformly continuous and asymptotically generalized Φ-hemicontractive mappings in the intermediate sense. This paper aims to introduce a new projection method for solving pseudomonotone variational inequality problems in real reflexive Banach spaces. In this paper we formulate a setvalued fixed point problem by combining four prevalent trends of fixed point theory. We solve the problem by showing that the set of fixed points is nonempty. Further we have a data dependence result pertaining to the problem and also a stability result for the fixed point sets. The main result is extended to metric spaces with a graph. The results are obtained without the use of metric completeness assumption which is replaced by some other conditions suitable for solving the fixed point problem. The goal of this paper is to develop some fundamental and important nonlinear analysis for single-valued mappings under the framework of p-vector spaces, in particular, for locally p-convex spaces for 0 < p ≤ 1 . More precisely, based on the fixed point theorem of single-valued continuous condensing mappings in locally p-convex spaces as the starting point, we first establish best approximation results for (single-valued) continuous condensing mappings, which are then used to develop new results for three classes of nonlinear mappings consisting of 1) condensing; 2) 1-set contractive; and 3) semiclosed 1-set contractive mappings in locally p-convex spaces. Next they are used to establish the general principle for nonlinear alternative, Leray–Schauder alternative, fixed points for nonself mappings with different boundary conditions for nonlinear mappings from locally p-convex spaces, to nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces, or locally convex spaces with the Opial condition. The results given by this paper not only include the corresponding ones in the existing literature as special cases, but are also expected to be useful tools for the development of new theory in nonlinear functional analysis and applications to the study of related nonlinear problems arising from practice under the general framework of p-vector spaces for 0 < p ≤ 1 . Finally, the work presented by this paper focuses on the development of nonlinear analysis for single-valued (instead of set-valued) mappings for locally p-convex spaces. In this work, we prove the weak convergence of a one-step self-adaptive algorithm to a solution of the sum of two monotone operators in 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth real Banach spaces. Then, we apply Radu–Mihet method derived from an alternative fixed point theorem to investigate existence, uniqueness and matrix-valued fuzzy Mittag–Leffler–Hypergeometric–Wright stability of a a class of P -Hilfer fractional differential equations in matrix-valued fuzzy Banach space.
