Comments on U.S. foreign secretary Ernest Bevin's speech, on labor policy, delivered in the U.S. House on August 20. Agreement of all the political -parties upon implementing the decisions of the Potsdam proposals, on making the best of the Charter of the United Nations and working to preserve unity within the Big Five as the foundation for peace; Need for unifying and reconstructing Europe on democratic lines; Declaration of the Labor Party that socialism is a fundamental necessity for the attainment of our international as well as our domestic aims; View that the problem of India's relationship to the U.S. country is a matter of international concern.
