No. of bitstreams: 1 JOÃO BATISTA DOS SANTOS - TESE PPGEA 2011..pdf: 9635734 bytes, checksum: 351fa3b7dcb9b461c22a768759f0fe04 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-05-17 Objetivou-se, com este trabalho, avaliar o crescimento e a produção da mamoneira, cultivar BRS Energia, em função da salinidade da água de irrigação em sistema de lisimetria, com o propósito de gerar tecnologia para o seu cultivo no semiárido nordestino. O estudo foi desenvolvido na área experimental de Irrigação e Drenagem do Instituto Federal Baiano, Campus de Senhor do Bonfim, Senhor do Bonfim, BA. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi inteiramente casualizado, com sete tratamentos e três repetições, totalizando 21 unidades experimentais. Os tratamentos foram constituídos de níveis de salinidade da água de irrigação, sendo o nível mais baixo (0,12 dS m- i ) o da água de abastecimento urbano do município, o qual foi considerado testemunha; os demais níveis foram: 0,8; 1,6; 2,4; 3,2; 4,0 e 4,8 dS m"1 (25 °C). A salinidade do solo, da solução solo e da suspensão drenada, cresceu linearmente com o aumento da salinidade das águas de irrigação; entretanto, apesar do aumento da salinidade das águas de irrigação ter elevado o caráter salino do solo, não interferiu em sua sodicidade. O crescimento das plantas diminuiu de forma linear com o aumento da salinidade das águas de irrigação, em todas variáveis analisadas. A taxa de crescimento absoluto em altura de plantas e em área foliar diminuiu em função do aumento da salinidade das águas de irrigação e do tempo de cultivo, enquanto a taxa de crescimento relativo dessas variáveis diminuiu apenas com o tempo de cultivo. A taxa de crescimento absoluto do diâmetro caulinar aumentou em função da salinidade das águas de irrigação e do tempo de cultivo; j á sua taxa de crescimento relativo diminuiu com o aumento do tempo de cultivo, independentemente do aumento da salinidade das águas de irrigação para o qual, em determinado tempo de cultivo, a taxa de crescimento relativo do diâmetro caulinar tendeu a ficar praticamente constante. O aumento da salinidade das águas de irrigação inibiu a capacidade produtiva da mamoneira e promoveu maior percentagem de casca nos frutos. Mesmo para o maior nível de salinidade das águas de irrigação, o rendimento em óleo (49,18%) foi satisfatório em relação a outras oleaginosas. This research aimed to evaluate the growth and production o f the castor oil plant, cultivar BRS Energia, in function of the irrigation water salinity in lisimetry system, with the purpose of generating technology for its cultivation in the Northeastern semiarid. The study was developed in the experimental area o f Irrigation and Drainage of the Bahia Federal Institute, Campus of Senhor do Bonfim. The used experimental design was entirely randomized with seven treatments and three repetitions, totaling 21 experimental plots. The treatments were constituted of levels of salinity of the irrigation water, being the lowest level (0.12 dS m"1) the one of the water of urban provisioning o f the municipal district, which was considered as the control; the other levels were: 0.8; 1.6; 2.4; 3.2; 4.0 and 4.8 dS m"1 (25 °C). The salinity of the soil, of the soil solution and of the drained suspension increased lineally with the increase of the salinity o f the irrigation waters; however, in spite of the increase of the salinity of the irrigation waters has elevated the saline character of the soil, it didn't interfere in its sodicity. The growth of the plants decreased in a linear way with the increase of the salinity of the irrigation waters in all analyzed variables. The absolute growth rate in height of plants and in leaf area decreased in function of the increase of the salinity of the irrigation waters and of the time of cultivation, while the relative growth rate of those variables decreased just with the time of cultivation. The absolute growth rate of the stem diameter increased in function of the salinity of the irrigation waters and of the time of cultivation; already its relative growth rate decreased as the increase of the time of cultivation independently of the increase of the salinity of the irrigation waters, for which, in a certain time o f cultivation, the relative growth rate of the stem diameter tended to be practically constant. The increase of the salinity o f the irrigation waters inhibited the productive capacity of the castor oil plant and promoted larger peel percentage in the fruits. Even for the largest level of salinity of the irrigation waters, the yield in oil (49.18%) was satisfactory in relation to other oleaginous ones.

Objetivou-se com esta pesquisa avaliar os efeitos da aplicação de diferentes níveis de reposição da evapotranspiração, através da irrigação com água salina, e efeitos da adubação orgânica e mineral no cultivo do pinhão-manso em condições de campo. O experimento foi desenvolvido na Fazenda Barra, no município de Santa Luzia, no semiarido paraibano. O delineamento estatístico utilizado foi em blocos casualizados, em um esquema de parcelas subdivididas, com quatro repetições. Foram estudados cinco níveis de reposição de água (25; 50; 75; 100 e 125% da evapotranspiração de referência) e três tipos de adubação (orgânica, mineral e fertilidade natural do solo, isto é, sem aplicação de adubo). As variáveis avaliadas foram: altura das plantas; diâmetro do caule; número de folhas; peso das sementes, dos frutos e da casca, e no fim do experimento, foi realizada uma análise foliar objetivando-se observar o acúmulo de nutrientes nas folhas. As lâminas de irrigação e o tipo de adubação exerceram, em determinado período de avaliação ou em todos eles, efeitos significativos nos parâmetros de crescimento e no número de folhas. As lâminas de irrigação não afetaram o peso das sementes, dos frutos nem da casca, enquanto a adubação causou efeito altamente significativo. As lâminas de irrigação promoveram efeito significativo no teor de nutrientes das folhas no final do experimento, apenas nos elementos sódio e nitrogénio, enquanto o efeito das adubações não foi significativo em nenhum dos elementos. As diferenças no teor de nutrientes das folhas entre as lâminas de 25% e 75% da ETo foram significativas apenas para os elementos N e Na; já nas médias dos tratamentos das adubações orgânica e mineral e sem adubação, não ocorreram diferenças estatísticas. The Jatropha curcas is a oil producer plant now considered as an alternative for biodiesel production. This research aimed to evaluate the effects of the application of different leveis of replacement of the evapotranspiration, through the irrigation with saline water, and effects of the organic and chemical manuring in the cultivation of the Jatropha curcas under field conditions. The experiment was developed in the Farm Barra, in the municipal district of Santa Luzia, in the Paraíba semi-arid. The used statistical design was in randomized blocks, in an scheme of subdivided plots, with four replications. Five leveis of replacement of water (25; 50; 75; 100 and 125% of the reference evapotranspiration) and three manuring types (organic, mineral and natural fertility of the soil, that is, without fertilizer application) were studied. The appraised variables were: plants height; stem diameter, number of leaves, the seeds, fruits and peei weight, and at the end of the experiment a leave analysis was accomplished, aiming to observe the accumulation of nutrients in the leaves. The irrigation water depths and the manuring type exercised, in a certain evaluation period or in ali of them, significant effects on the growth parameters and on the number of leaves. The irrigation water depths didn't affect the weight of the seeds, of the fruits and of the peei, while the manuring caused effect highly significant. The irrigation water depths promoted significant effect on the content of nutrients of the leaves by the end of the experiment, just in the elements sodium and nitrogen, while the effect of the manurings was not significant in none of the elements. The differences in the content of nutrients of the leaves among the water depths of 25% and 75% of ETo were significant just for the elements N and Na; already in the mean of the treatments of the organic and chemical manurings and without manuring, didn't happen statistical differences.

O experimento seguiu um delineamento em blocos casualizados distribuídos em parcelas subdividas em faixas, sendo os fatores: 4 níveis de nitrogénio via torta de mamona (TM) (TM1 = 0, TM 2 = 90, TM 3 = 180 e TM 4 = 270 kg N ha"1) e 4 níveis de irrigação baseados no conceito de água disponível no solo monitorado duas vezes ao dia com o uso do TDR (água disponível - AD) (ADI = 20%, AD2 = 40%, AD3 = 60% e AD4 = 80%), com 4 repetições, totalizando 64 parcelas. O espaçamento de plantio foi na configuração de 1,4 x 0,4 x 0,36 m, em fileira dupla continua para obter um melhor aproveitamento da área em função do sistema de irrigação por gotejamento. A adubação com P e K seguiu a recomendação para o Estado do Ceara. Os componentes de crescimento e de produção da mamoneira, cultivar BRS energia aumentaram com o incremento dos níveis de água disponível no solo e de adubação orgânica via torta de mamona; entretanto, o efeito positivo da adubação orgânica ocorreu somente até o nível de adubação de 180 kg N ha"1 ' inclusive quando associado ao nível de disponibilidade de água no solo de 80%. O nível de adubação orgânica de 180 kg ha"1, associado a 80% de água disponível no solo promoveu um incremento de 58,84 % na produtividade da mamoneira, em relação ao tratamento com este mesmo nível de disponibilidade de água no solo, mais sem adubação orgânica. O nível de água disponível no solo de 80% associado a uma adubação orgânica de 180 kg ha"1, promoveu um incremento de 22,11 % na produtividade da mamoneira, em relação ao tratamento com este mesmo nível de adubação orgânica e com o nível de água disponível no solo de 20%. Aiming to develop technologies of agricultural cultivation adapted to the semiarid área, capable to supply a productivity economically viable to levei of small and médium producer and to favor an improvement in the sold product quality, being reverted in capital, this research had the purpose to obtain knowledge on the effects of the castor oil plant pie as organic matter supplier of different leveis of nitrogen and of different irrigation leveis in the culture of the precocious castor oil plant, cultivar BRS Energy, in the conditions of the Brazilian semiarid. The experiment followed a randomized blocks design distributed in split plots, being the factors: 4 leveis of nitrogen through castor oil plant pie (TM) (TM1 = 0, TM 2 = 90, TM 3 = 180 and TM 4 = 270 kg N ha"1) and 4 irrigation leveis based on the concept of available water in the soil monitored twice a day with the use of TDR (available water - AW) (AW1 = 20%, AW2 = 40%, AW3 = 60% and AW4 = 80%), with 4 repetitions, totaling 64 plots. The planting spacing was in the configuration of 1.4 x 0.4 x 0.36 m, in continuous double row to obtain a better use of the area in function of the drip irrigation system. The manuring with P and K followed the recommendation for the State of Ceara. The growth and production components of the castor oil plant, cultivar BRS energy, increased with the increment of the leveis of available water in the soil and of manuring organic via castor oil plant pie; however, the positive effect of the organic manuring only happened until the levei of manuring of 180 kg N ha"1 , inclusive when associate with the levei of available water in the soil of 80%. The levei of organic manuring of 180 kg ha"1 , associate to 80% of available water in the soil promoted an increment of 58,84% in the productivity of the castor oil plant, in relation to the treatment with this same levei of available water in the soil, but without organic manuring. The levei of available water in 80% associate to an organic manuring of 180 kg ha"1 promoted an increment of 22,11% in the productivity of the castor oil plant, in relation to the treatment with this same levei of organic manuring and with the levei of available water in the soil of 20%.

O experimento foi conduzido em condições de casa de vegetação da Embrapa Algodão, Campina Grande, Paraíba, no período de 25 de março a 5 de setembro de 2007. Adotou-se o delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso, no qual os tratamentos foram distribuídos em esquema fatorial (4 x 4) com quatro repetições e uma planta por parcela (vaso), sendo os fatores quatro doses de nitrogênio (N1 = 0 (testemunha), N2 = 60, N3 =120 e N4 =180 kg ha-1), aplicadas na forma de sulfato de amônio (NH4)SO4, e quatro níveis de água no solo (L1 = 100, L2 = 80, L3 = 60 e L4 = 40% da água disponível), resultando em 64 parcelas. Os níveis de água disponível no solo nos tratamentos foram estabelecidos mediante o emprego da tensiometria. O crescimento das plantas foi acompanhado mensalmente pela medição de: altura, diâmetro caulinar e área foliar, a partir da emergência das plantas e, ao final do experimento, se determinaram as variáveis de desenvolvimento: matéria seca das folhas, matéria seca dos caules e matéria seca das raízes. Houve resposta positiva de todas as variáveis de crescimento às aplicações crescentes de doses de nitrogênio e de níveis de água disponível no solo. Destaca-se, ainda, que em todos os casos ocorreu interação significativa entre esses dois fatores, indicando haver um efeito conjugado sobre as variáveis de crescimento da planta do pinhão manso, isto é, o efeito de um depende do efeito do outro. As maiores estimativas para as variáveis de crescimento (altura da planta e área foliar) e para as variáveis de fitomassa, foram obtidas na maior dose de nitrogênio e no maior nível de água no solo estudados, correspondentes a 180 kg ha-1 de N e a nível de 100% de água disponível no solo. Houve exceção para a variável de crescimento diâmetro dos caules da planta do pinhão manso, que teve seu maior resultado na dose 154 kg. ha-1 de N e no nível de 100% de água disponível no solo. This work has as objective evaluating the physic nut initial growth in function of the water levels and nitrogenated fertilization. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse of EMBRAPA ALGODÃO, Campina Grande in the period from March 25th to September 5th, 2007. The experimental design adapted was a randomizes complete blocks, in which the treatments were distributed in factorial scheme (4x4) with four replicates and a plant per portion (vase), being these factors: four doses of nitrogen (N1=0 (witness), N2=60, N3=120, and N4=180kg ha-1), applied in an ammonium sulfate form (NH 4) SO4, and four levels of water in the soil (L1=100, L2=80, L3=60, and L4=40% of the available water), resulting in 64 portions. The water levels available in the soil during the treatments were derminated using the tensiometry. The plants growth was followed monthly by the measurement of: height, stem diameter and leaf area, beginning from the plants emergence, and at the end of the experiment were determined the development variables: dry mass of the leaves, dry mass of the stems and dry mass of the roots. There was a positive result for all the growth variables to the increasing applications of nitrogen doses and the water levels available in the soil. We can also highlight that, in all the cases there was a significant interaction between these two factors, indicating that there was a conjugated effect over the growth variables of physic nut plant, that is, one’s effect depends on the other’s effect. Most of the estimates to the growth variables (plant height and leaf area) and to the phytomass variables, were obtained in the highest dose of nitrogen and in the highest level of water studied, corresponding to 180kg ha-1 of N and to the level of 100% of water available in the soil. There was an exception to the growth variable in the stem’s diameter in the physic nut plant, whose biggest result was to the dose of 154kg ha-1 of N and the level of 100% of water available in the soil.
