Abstract

The reduction in the linear density of twinning dislocations resulting from the simultaneous applications of high-density electric current pulses and constant magnetic field to bismuth crystals are found. The current pulses and constant magnetic field were applied to the specimen after a concentrated load introduced the deformation and pileups of twinning dislocations.
