Abstract

The article discusses a study which examines the graphitization in blast furnace coke samples. High temperature X-ray diffraction and thermal diffusivity measurements were performed to determine the degree of graphitization. The study found that the degree of graphitization depends on temperature. Thermal diffusivities also increase with the degree of graphitization.
