Abstract

Abstract: We report a case of a 51-year-old patient with chronic pancreatitis and a giant gastroduodenal artery pseudoaneurysm. Noninvasive radiological procedures precisely defined the gastroduodenal artery pseudoaneurysm. Catheter angiography revealed the site of extravazation in the upper third of the gastroduodenal artery, and enabled successful embolization with coils. Follow-up CD sonography confirmed complete occlusion and secondary thrombosis of the giant pseudoaneurysm. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
