Although the observation of breast vascular tumors is rare, the most common tumor is hemangıoma in the benign group, and these tumors are observed incidentally in lumpectomy or mastectomy specimens during histological examinations. They are classified into capillary, cavernous, and venous hemangıomas. Cavernous hemangıoma is the most common subtype. Cavernous hemangıomas are benign vascular tumors, which malformatıon from mature blood vessels. Hemangıomas ın the benıgn group may show a suspicion of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) in mammographic analysis. Ultrasonography (US) and magnetic resonance ımagıng (MRI) are the most useful imaging methods for analyzing the structure of breast vessels. In this case, a 54-year-old female who have any complaint. Scanning mammography (MG) detected the tumor, but physıcal examınatıon and US could not identify the mass. According to the MG analysis, the lesion was evaluated as BIRADS 4b, and the patient underwent excisional biopsy after wire localization. Pathological analysis revealed cavernous hemangıoma.

Apocrine carcinoma of the breast is a relatively rare subgroup of breast tumors and comprises 1-4% of all breast carcinomas. The case is a 49 year-old postmenopausal woman. Two different lumps located near to each other at the left upper quadrant were both reported as invasive ductal carcinoma after core needle biopsy. The patient had undergone breast conserving surgery and sentinel lymph node biopsy of axilla with blue dye after wire localization of the masses. Since the lymph node biopsy was found to be metastatic, level I-II axillary dissection was performed on the patient. Pathology revealed apocrine carcinoma with 1 of 16 dissected lymph nodes and was evaluated as metastasis and the oncology department planned chemotherapy with 4 cycles Epirubicin-Cyclophosphamide protocol followed by radiotherapy.

Purpose: To evaluate the sonographic findings and histopathological diagnosis of complex breast cysts, and to assess the diagnostic reliability of a 14G core-needle biopsy.Patients and Methods: Sixty-one complex breast cysts that underwent a 14 G core-needle biopsy and/or surgical excisions were retrospectively analyzed. Cystic masses with thick wall- thick septation and with solid component were included. Mixed lesions with both cystic and solid appearance were excluded. Radiologic findings and histopathologic diagnosis of these lesions reviewed retrospectively.Results: Of 61 lesions, 39 (64%) were complex cysts with thick wall and/or thick septation and 22 (36%) were complex cysts with solid component. Forty- eight (79%) lesions were diagnosed as benign and 13 (21%) lesions were diagnosed as malignant. Of the 39 complex cysts with thick wall-thick septation, 31 (79%) lesions were diagnosed as benign and 8 (21%) lesions were malignant. Of the 22 complex cysts with solid component, 17 (77%) lesions were diagnosed as benign and 5 (23%) were malignant.Conclusion: Complex breast cysts have malignancy risk and usually require biopsy. Thirteen of 61 (21%) complex cysts proved malignant in our study. Core needle biopsy is a safe and reliable diagnostic procedure in the management of these cases. However, in cases of clinical/radiological/pathological discordance or the presence of atypical cells, a surgical excision should be performed.
