With the development of Internet technology, the number of Web services is growing rapidly, and various types of service recommendation systems emerge in a rapid stream. Although all major service recommendation systems show efficient data processing and service recommendation performance, most of the existing service recommendation systems are developed based on a centralized platform, with functions and data concentrated on a central server. There are still many problems with this over-centralized authority, such as data tamper, data leakage and so on. In response to the above problems, we designed and implemented a service recommendation system based on smart contracts and DIKW (Data, Information, Knowledge and Wisdom). The system data is stored in the blockchain, which effectively prevents data from being tampered. At the same time, the operating environment of the system is the decentralized environment of the Ethereum alliance chain, which overcomes the centralization drawbacks of the traditional service recommendation system and provides a new solution to the existing problems in the service recommendation domain.

Cloud computing and service computing are merging together rapidly. This process brings large challenges to create knowledge graphs for service data. Our aim is to develop a knowledge graph for service analysis, and recommendation to boost API economy. In this paper, knowledge extraction and knowledge discovery are shown for the knowledge graph.

Available bandwidth estimation is very important for network operators, users, and bandwidth-sensitive applications. In the last 20 years, various techniques and systems have been proposed to estimate end-to-end available bandwidth. They were mostly tested in simulation or inside small-scale networks, but they can’t consistently offer satisfying accuracy over the Internet. An active probing method SOProbe is proposed, and it measures end-to-end available bandwidth from only the installed host. The key idea of SOProbe is to identify the rate range where the available bandwidth resides. To archives this, SOProbe sends probe packets at selected transmission rates, and tries to catch the relationship between probe packets and available bandwidth.

To provide guidance to and integrate directly with the information technology side implementation to achieve coherent data, information, and knowledge coordination and robust value-oriented adaptability for maximization of business profitability, we propose to leverage the ideology of service economics to achieve bidirectional computational bridging between business planning and technical implementation of ubiquitous services/XaaS in the application program interface economy for promoting the macro-service market, especially in global value chains. Enlightened by value-driven design, we propose a systemic formalization from value calculation to design quality measurement which binds the technical modification and variation on design artifacts with business value strategy through a framework of managed quality properties in a wireless sensor network–based service system creation process. In the process of building a service system, we use data, information, and knowledge flow to abstract various data, information, and knowledge manipulation and usage scenarios. We propose to improve system reliability and robustness by managing data and information reuse, redundancy as well as structure.

Web service is a popular solution to integrate components when building a software system, or to allow communication between a system and third-party users, providing a flexible and reusable mechanism to access its functionalities. Due to differences in medical level and extremely uneven distribution of medical resources, medical information technology lacks unified planning and is not supported by digital health care system. Thus diagnosis resources of patients cannot be shared by each medical institution. Inspections usually repeat which not only increases the burden of hospitalizing and physical injuries, but also leads to the waste of medical resources. We propose a framework towards constructing and searching typed health resources in terms of data, information and knowledge through a hierarchy composing Data Graph, Information Graph and Knowledge Graph in order to improve performance in accessing and processing resources. We use cases to illustrate the mechanism of the framework.

Numerous service models have been proposed in the form of ”as a Service” or ”aaS” in the past. This is especially eminent in the era of the Cloud under the term of anything as a service or everything as a service(XaaS). A unified view of XaaS can aid efficient classification of services for service registration, discovery, and composition. In view of that there lacks such a unified view which is demanded by systematic application of XaaS in the Web Service Ecosystem, towards proposing a taxonomy of ”aaS”, we present in this work a collection of ”aaS” based on a throughout literature survey. We also proposed a strategy to identify the terms from the servicelization perspective.
