Software V&V technology provides reliability and safety guarantee for digital system and intelligent equipment which used in nuclear power plant. Although a systematic scheme of software V&V technologies has been formed for nuclear power plant, there are some technical nodes need to be discussed and considered. The software V&V standard has been updated. The higher requirements are put forward for the depth, scope, the appropriate techniques and methods of the software V&V. This paper will discuss the upgraded version of software V&V related standards, and give the key points that software V&V technology needs to pay attention. Then the pre-development software identification, new software V&V technical of the special instrument and control system, and the applicability assessment of the safety analysis software are also been discussed. The technical difficulties faced by software V&V in the above aspects will be put forward. At last the future development direction of software V&V technology is proposed.

The popularity of smart home equipment has led to higher requirements for equipment automation operation and maintenance. However, the energy consumption status and hidden faults of household equipment cannot be controlled in time only by using traditional monitoring methods. Therefore, this paper proposes a methods of power analysis for smart home appliances based on SSA-TCN using the energy consumption data of smart home appliances. The effective information of the data is extracted through the SSA singular spectrum analysis method, and the data sequence is input into the sequential convolutional network for judgment, so that the energy consumption status and working status of the equipment is obtained. The actual data is used as the training set and the test set to verify the recognition rate of the model. The experimental results show that the recognition rate of the method is about 82%, which provides an effective way for equipment automation and intelligent operation and maintenance.

With the development of FPGA technology, more and more nuclear safety-critical systems use FPGA technology to achieve their functions. To ensure the security and quality of nuclear safety-grade systems based on FPGA technology, the focus is on software functions being implemented correctly and reliably. Software testing is the most important part of software quality assurance software. Software static testing is an indispensable part of software testing. The basic requirements of static testing of nuclear safety-critical software based on FPGA technology are firstly introduced in this paper. The applicability and limitations of the test tool LEDA were analyzed then. Finally, Software static test methods and processes combined with automated tool testing and manual review are proposed, which provides technical support for improving the reliability and security of nuclear safety-Critical FPGA software.

Under the background of actively adjusting energy structure, promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, and enhancing energy security capability, the rapid development of nuclear power has become an inevitable trend. As a national high-security technology, nuclear power is directly related to the interests of the country. In recent years, with the deep integration of nuclear power plants (NPPs) and information technology, the information security of NPPs has become increasingly important. The digital instrument control system is a typical representative of the integration of NPPs and information technology. The paper mainly analyzes and evaluates the information security of the digital instrument control system of NPPs, and discusses the countermeasures. This paper analyzes the systems, equipment and components that may have information security risks in the digitized instrument and control system of NPPs, and puts forward countermeasures and management measures for new and operational power plants in view of the possible information security risks.

The intellectualization and digitization of nuclear power plants have become the new direction of nuclear power development. The intellectualization of nuclear power plants cannot be achieved without the use of network control technology, the internet of things can be applied to multiple scenarios in nuclear power plants. With the application of internet of things technology in nuclear power plants, the security of nuclear power plants has been paid more and more attention because the destruction of nuclear power plants can cause great social panic and political influence. This paper focus on the security technology of the internet of things in nuclear power plant. The paper includes five parts. The safety analysis methods and security measures for the application of internet of things technology in nuclear power plants are emphasized. In this paper, the security measures of the internet of things have be divided into six aspects.

In order to improve the safety and reliability of the information system of the State Grid, platforms that apply technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence to realize the safety monitoring and management of information systems have been widely used. At the same time, the application of visualization technology can fully display the current security status and situation of the network, as well as the intrusion and attack process of various attacks and threats. This paper proposes to apply big data visualization technology to realize asset visualization, behavior visualization, and attack visualization, and to show the risk status, intrusion view and process of the entire network.

Software verification and validation (V&V) is the key technology to improve the quality of software in nuclear power plant and ensure the safe operation of DCS. The configuration management (CM) is an important mean to standardize the software V&V process and improve the efficiency and quality of the software V&V. However, in the current configuration management process for safety DCS software V&V in nuclear power plant, the baseline management of input files has some deficiencies. The paper proposes a method for input file baseline management through research standards and combined practical experience, which can provide reference for the CM in subsequent software V&V project.

Since the digital technology is used in the safety system of nuclear power plant (NPP), its safety and reliability are the most important factors to the safety operation of NPP. Software V&V (verification and validation) is a significant method to ensure the safety and reliability of the nuclear power safety I&C (instruments and control) system software, the system to evaluate the efficient of V&V activities needs to further research. An evaluation model of V&V activities has been described in the paper. The anomaly density, V&V effectiveness and V&V efficiency which are to measure the V&V effort, have been included in the model. In the article, the critical point of the anomaly density, V&V effectiveness, and V&V efficiency have been analyzed. Based on the V&V results of nuclear power safety I&C system software, a practice case has been performed to evaluate the V&V activities.

Software security relates to the economy and safety of nuclear power plants (NPPs). Cyber security is a hot research topic for NPPs. The standards and regulations have been established for cyber security in NPPs, such as regulatory guide 5.71. Cyber-attack is a threaten that may be happened at any point during the life cycle of the digital instrumentation and control systems. The vulnerabilities of information security can be reduced by physical protection, independent strategies and administrative measures. The security measures only concern with the cyber security for NPPs in commonly. The essence of digital instrumentation and control systems has not been paid enough attention. Software security is the last line of against the attacker. In this paper, the risk of software security has been analysed for the digital instrumentation and control systems in NPPs. The identification and detection measures have been proposed in the paper.

In order to improve the safety and reliability of the safety related software for the nuclear power plant, the verification and validation (V&V) is necessary for the software in the whole development life cycle based on nuclear laws and principles requirement. Nuclear Safety software implementation phase means using programming language to perform system requirement specifications. Implementation V&V activities based software design documentation to verification and validation the correctness, accuracy and completeness of the source code. This paper considered the regulation and law requirements and given the test types of implementation V&V activities. The test process of implementation V&V activities for safety software in nuclear power plant has been given. The paper also proposed the key points of the test case and the principles that the test person need to follow.

Managing the aging of digital control systems ensures that nuclear power plant systems are in adequate safety margins during their life cycles. Software is a core component in the execution of control logic and differs between digital and analog control systems. The hardware aging management for the digital control system is similar to that for the analog system, which has matured over decades of study. However, software aging management is still in the exploratory stage. Software aging evaluation is critical given the higher reliability and safety requirements of nuclear power plants. To ensure effective inputs for reliability assessment, this paper provides the required software aging information during the life cycle. Moreover, the software aging management scheme for safety digital control system is proposed on the basis of collected aging information.

Recently since human factor engineering (HFE) has been used in control room design of nuclear power plant (NPP), the human-machine interface (HMI) has been gradual to develop harmoniously, especially the use of the digital technology. Comparing with the analog technology which was used to human-machine interface in the past, human-machine interaction has been more enhanced. HFE and the main control room (MCR) design engineering of NPP is a combination of multidisciplinary cross, mainly related to electrical and instrument control, reactor, machinery, systems engineering and management disciplines. However, MCR is not only equipped with HMI provided by the equipments, but also more important for the operator to provide a work environment, such as the main control room ceiling. The ceiling design of main control room related to HFE which influences the performance of staff should also be considered in the design of the environment and aesthetic factors, especially the introduction of professional design experience and evaluation method. Based on Ling Ao phase II and Hong Yanhe project implementation experience, the study analyzes lighting effect, space partition, vision load about the ceiling of main control room of NPP. Combining with the requirements of standards, the advantages and disadvantages of the main control room ceiling design has been discussed, and considering the requirements of lightweight, noise reduction, fire prevention, moisture protection, the ceiling design solution of the main control room also has been discussed.
