Background Pancreatic cancer is one of the most common malignant diseases in the world. Gemcitabine chemotherapy remains the most important clinical treatment. However, research found that pancreatic cancer cells have chemoresistance to gemcitabine and the effect is not satisfactory. Therefore, it is urgent to find an effective early diagnosis and treatment strategy. Circular RNA is one of the most popular prognostic biomarkers in GEM-resistant PC. Materials and methods The present study was designed to evaluate the role of circHIPK3 in PC. The expression of circHIPK3 in PC tissues and cells and its effect on proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT, and apoptosis were investigated in vitro; its effect on tumor xenografts was assessed in vivo. Used bioinformation analysis to predict which miRNAs could potentially interact with circHIPK3, mRNA, and miR-330-5p. Results RT-PCR showed that the level of circHIPK3 was increased in PC tumor tissues; moreover, circHIPK3 was also increased in GEM-resistant PC tumors tissues and GEM-resistant PC cells. Sh-circHIPK3 could knockdown circHIPK3 in PANC-1-GEM and SW-1990-GEM and could significantly inhibit cell proliferation, invasion, migration, EMT and enhance cell apoptosis, compare with control group, the tumor xenografts of circHIPK3 knockdown group were significantly smaller. CircHIPK3 served as a sponge for miR-330-5p, and miR-330-5p directly bound to the 3' UTR of RASSF1 were revealed by dual luciferase assay and RIP in PC cells. CircHIPK3 knockdown of RASSF1 expression could neutralize the cytological function of PC cells by miR-330-5p inhibitor mediated GEM-resistance. Conclusion CircHIPK3 promotes gemcitabine (GEM) resistance in pancreatic cancer cells by targeting RASSF1 via miR-330-5p and regulates proliferation, invasive, migration, EMT, and apoptosis. Our research revealed that circHIPK3 may be a novel biomarker in GEM-resistant PC and could be used as a prognostic target.

The rapid development of the economy and society in China has led to a series of environmental pollution problems. Exploring the interaction and coupling effects within the Economy–Society–Environment (ESE) system in urban agglomeration areas is conducive to promoting high-quality sustainable urban development. Based on systems theory, we constructed an ESE system with multiple elements, information and interaction flows. Taking the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration (YRDUA) in the period from 2010 to 2018 as a research sample, we used the Entropy Method (EM) and the Coupling Coordination Degree Model (CCDM) to synthetically evaluate the coupling coordination degree of the ESE system. The Back-Propagation Artificial Neural Network (BPANN) was applied to explore the influencing factors of the ESE system’s coupling coordination degree considering the nonlinear relationship between the various indicators and the ESE system’s coupling coordination degree. The main results can be summarized as follows. (1) The coupling coordination degree of the ESE system and the comprehensive quality of its subsystems in the YRDUA showed trends of growth during 2010–2018. There were obvious spatial differences: Shanghai had the highest quality scores, Jiangsu and Zhejiang had medium values, and Anhui had the lowest scores. However, these disparities continued to decrease during the study period. The overall coupling coordination degree distribution presents a normal distribution shape, most of cities concentrated in the moderate coordination grade. (2) At present, the coupling coordination of the society-environment binary system makes a great contribution to the ESE ternary system. (3) The comprehensive quality of the economy provides strong support for sustainable social and environmental development. (4) Factors such as the urbanization rate, proportion of tertiary industry in GDP, per-capita retail sales of consumer goods are critical to the coordinated development of the ESE system.

The luminous efficiency of radiation (LER) and colour rendering indices (CRIs) are two key technological parameters for white light-emission diodes (WLEDs), but there is always a trade-off between them, especially between LER and R9 (the 9th CRI for red colour). It is therefore necessary to find ways to solve this problem by choosing appropriate red phosphors as well as the phosphor blend. In this work, we attempted to apply both a narrow-band (K2SiF6:Mn4+,KSF) and a broad-band ((Sr,Ca)AlSiN3:Eu2+, SCASN) red phosphors together with a green phosphor (Lu3Al5O12:Ce3+, LuAG) to minimize the trade-off. For a warm white LED with the correlated colour temperature of 3000 K, the combination of a single red phosphor (either KSF or SCASN) and LuAG led to high LERs (92.4 lm W−1 for KSF and 95 lm W−1 for SCASN) but low Ra (average of the first eight CRIs) and R9 (Ra = 60.9 and R9 = −28.2 for KSF; Ra = 83.7 and R9 = 16.6 for SCASN). On the other hand, by using dual red phosphors instead of one, CRIs and even LERs are significantly increased, which is dominantly ascribed to the narrow emission band and the absence of re-absorption of green light of KSF. A superior WLED with LER = 115.4 lm W−1, Ra = 96.9 and R9 = 95.8 was attained when pumping the phosphor blend of (KSF:SCASN:LuAG = 6 : 0.75 : 5.1 in weight ratio) by a blue InGaN LED, which enables it to be used broadly for high quality solid state lighting.

As a mining industry which is vital to the national economy, the oil and gas industry is faced with various uncertainties from the exploration and development at the upstream, refining and production at the midstream to the transportation and sale at the downstream. With the implementation of the “Go Global” strategy of the oil and gas industry and the steady progress of the Belt and Road Initiative, a more comprehensive and accurate identification, classification and quantification of the uncertain factors facing the oil and gas industry is required by the “14th Five-Year Plan”. This paper first identifies and classifies the uncertain factors of the oil and gas industry and then analyzes the difference between those uncertain factors from the domestic and overseas perspectives. Different methods of quantifying the uncertainties are also designed from the three dimensions of resource, technology and economy. Based on the development trend of various factors during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, this paper predicts the quantitative results of uncertainties in the following 10 years.

This paper proposes a new gate driver circuit integrated by IZO-thin film transistors(TFTs),which employs a new driving method called input block multiplex structure. One input blockdriving several output blocks is used in this method, which can reduce the number of TFTs and save the area of the circuit dramatically, satisfying the design of the high resolution and narrow bezel displays. The working time of the input block is ntimes as the output block, where the parameter‘n'is the quantity of output blocks driven by one input block. Therefore the frequency of the driving clock of the proposed circuit is 1/nof the traditional circuits,in which one input block is used to drive one output block. We have successfully fabricated 20 stages of the circuit. The structure is one input block driving two output blocks and the dimension is 730μm width and 164μm height, which can realize the narrow bezel easily. The experimental results show the circuit can work well and be suitable for 300 PPI displays of AMLCD or AMOLEDs.

Background Cough is one of the most common complications of opioids. Many studies have evaluated the effect of various drugs in preventing opioid-induced cough (OIC). However, there is existing controversy about those reports. The present study was performed to assess the efficacy of different interventions on OIC. Methods We searched the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), PubMed, and Embase to identify randomized controlled trials on the efficacy of different drugs in the prevention of OIC. Opioids included fentanyl, sufentanil, and remifentanil. We mainly investigated the incidence and severity of OIC after different interventions. Results Thirty-four trials including 9906 patients were analyzed in this study. Twenty different drugs were reported, and 10 drugs were indentified in more than 2 articles. These drugs, including lidocaine, ketamine, dexmedetomidine, priming of fentanyl, propofol, dezocine, dexamethasone, dextromethorphan, and magnesium sulfate (MgSO 4 ), showed a significant efficacy compared with controls. There were insufficient numbers of trials for salbutamol, clonidine, tramadol, pentazocine, rocuronium, midazolam, atropine, terbutaline, sodium chromoglycate, beclomethasone, and ephedrine. From these data, we found that salbutamol, tramadol, midazolam, and atropine were ineffective. Conclusions This meta-analysis suggested that the prophylactic administration of lidocaine, ketamine, dexmedetomidine, priming of fentanyl, propofol, and dezocine was effective in preventing OIC.

A model was established to illustrate the relation between cumulative exploration investment and growth of total proved reserves on the basis of growth model of total proved reserves. The Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) theory was used to give an optimal solution of the function of constructed productivity and development investment, and, together with an exponential oil & gas operational cost function, a model of the relation between development investment and oil & gas output was deduced. Based on the models of investment-exploration-development relations, and considering maximum profit, yield component, reserves-to-output ratio and production rate, an optimal function of multi-stage investment was established, which can result in multi-stage investment structure under given conditions with genetic algorithms. The method can provide scientific basis for oil companies to make a long-term strategic program and investment plan in oil and gas exploration and development, decrease the subjective blindness in the investment and bring about a reasonable and orderly exploration and development of oil and gas resources Key words: exploration and development, investment decision-making, investment optimization, oil and gas reserves, oil and gas output

Background A new histological classification by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer/American Thoracic Society/European Respiratory Society (IASLC/ATS/ERS) for lung adenocarcinoma (LAC) was proposed recently, in which a micropapillary pattern (MPP) was described. Objectives This study aimed to evaluate the clinicopathological characteristics of LAC with MPP (LAC-MPP) and to investigate the correlation between LAC-MPP and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation status with the prognosis in Chinese patients. Patients and methods From May 2007 and February 2012, two hundred and forty-eight patients underwent resection and pathologically confirmed LAC. We classified all cases histologically according to the IASLC/ATS/ERS classification; an MPP ratio ≥5% was considered MPP-positive. Used Pearson's chi-square test to evaluate the relationships between EGFR mutation status and MPP status with patient clinicopathological characteristics. Results There were MPP-positive tumors (MPP ratio ≥5%) in 31.9% of cases (79/248); the MPP ratio correlated with TNM stage (p = 0.001) and lymph node metastasis (p = 0.03). EGFR mutation (EGFR-mut) was detected in 87 cases (34.3%); 161 cases had wild-type EGFR (EGFR-wt). EGFR mutation was present in 65% of the MPP-positive subtype. Patients with EGFR-mut tumors had significantly longer overall survival (OS) (p = 0.002). OS was also significantly longer in MPP-negative EGFR-mut or EGFR-wt patients (p Conclusion These findings indicate that EGFR-mut tumors are likelier to be MPP-positive subtypes and that MPP may be a novel potential pathological marker of poor prognosis in Chinese LAC patients.

Color rendition, luminous efficacy and reliability are three key technical parameters for white light-emitting diodes (wLEDs) that are dominantly determined by down-conversion phosphors. However, there is usually an inevitable trade-off between color rendition and luminescence efficacy because the spectrum of red phosphor (that is, spectral broadness and position) cannot satisfy them simultaneously. In this work, we report a very promising red phosphor that can minimize the aforementioned trade-off via structure and band-gap engineering, achieved by introducing isostructural LiSi2N3 into CaAlSiN3:Eu2+. The solid solution phosphors show both substantial spectra broadening (88→117 nm) and blueshift (652→642 nm), along with a significant improvement in thermal quenching (only a 6% reduction at 150 °C), which are strongly associated with electronic and crystal structure evolutions. The broadband and robust red phosphor thus enables fabrication of super-high color rendering wLEDs (Ra=95 and R9=96) concurrently with the maintenance of a high-luminous efficacy (101 lm W−1), validating its superiority in high-performance solid state lightings over currently used red phosphors. A new red phosphor with broadband emission has yielded white LEDs that have both a high luminous efficacy and excellent colour rendering. By applying structure and bandgap engineering strategies, Rong-Jun Xie and co-workers from China, Japan and the USA fabricated their rare-earth phosphor from Ca1−xLixAl1−xSi1+xN3:Eu2+. They say that the introduction of LiS2N3 to CaAlSiN3:Eu2+ minimizes the usual trade-off between emission colour and efficiency. When the red phosphor was combined with a commercial blue InGaN LED and a green phosphor, the result was a white LED with a luminous efficacy exceeding 100 lumens per watt and a high colour rendering. The researchers note that in addition to superior colour quality, the use of LiS2N3 imparts better thermal stability to the phosphor compared with currently used red phosphors.

This paper presents a new high speed gate driver circuit driven by In-Zn-O thin film transistors. Two methods are employed to improve the speed of this dirver: First, the input stage multiplex structure is adopted, one input stage drives three output stages; this could reduce the quantity of thin film transistors and also could achieve the narrow bezels in the AMOLED or AMLCD displays. Even the work frequency of the input stage becomes 1/3 of the output stage. When the speed of the circuit increass, there is enough time for input stage charging and discharging. So this kind of driver is suitable for high speed driving method. Second, three times the capacitance coupled effect generated in the gate driver can pull up the voltage level of the key nodes in the circuit, ensuring the signal integrity, While the first time the effect generated in the input stage is to reduce the charge time of the cascade signal and improve the speed of input stage. The second time that generated between input stage and output stage contrbutes to the integrity of cascade ouput signal and output control signal. A diode-connected thin film transistor applied to connect the output control signal and the gate of pull-up thin film transistors in output stage generates the three time capacitance coupled effects. Since the capacitance coupled effect can pull up the gate voltage of the pull-up thin film transistors during output period, the driving ability of the pull-up thin film transistors and the working speed could be promoted effectively. Simulation result shows that the capacitance coupled effect of each key node can pull up the voltage level considerably and the gate driver can normally work at the speed of 4 s. Finally, ten stage gate driver circuits have been fabricated successfully including ten input stages and thirty output stages. The test result shows that the proposed gate driver could work normally with a load of R=5 k and C=100 pF. Furthermore, the high speed test result shows that the output signal pulse width of the circuit is 2 s meeting the driving demands of the 4 k8 k display at the frame rate of 120 Hz. The power consumption of the gate dirver circuit is measured in different resolutions under the frame frequencies of 60 and 120 Hz respectively.

Regional exploration, trap exploration and reservoir evaluation exploration are three phases of an exploration process. Each phase confronts a problem of evaluating and ranking many exploration projects, and then selecting the optimal ones. The projects of different phase are quite different from each other, so evaluation and ranking methods must be chosen on the base of the divergence of each exploration process. Entity method and value method are two kinds of methods of evaluating and ranking exploration projects. Entity method is based on physical index like amount of exploration investment, workload, proved reserves. It is used only for preliminary optimal selection, and it cannot directly reflect the beneficial results of exploration projects. Value method is based on the discounted cash flow method, and optimal selection of projects is after economic evaluation. Value index reflects investment benefit directly and projects are ranked according to the computational solutions. The software basing on evaluation and ranking methods, which was developed with the Microsoft OWC controls. Programming work is easy because of the using of OWC, and it is accurate in calculation. The software can be used for rapid evaluation and ranking of large amounts of projects.

A compact two-dimensional (2D) single-mirror laser scanner has been designed and prototyped that is structurally small and has high accuracy. The mirror of the scanner is driven by three piezoelectric actuators aligned in parallel and staggered to form a triangular base to provide structural compactness and close drive axes. The mechanical structure and 2D tilt principle of the scanner were analyzed and the architecture was tested. With an asymmetric structure, the scanner has an optical angle of 2.558° and a principle resonance frequency at 1036.8 Hz in the x-axis and 4.495° at 654.0 Hz in the y-axis. Experimental results suggest that, with hysteresis compensation, the nonlinearity of the scanner is reduced to ±0.25% for the x-axis and ±0.3% for the y-axis. With an open-loop controller, the laser scanner can realize linear scanning at several hundred hertz.

Indium-zinc-oxide thin-film transistors (IZO-TFTs) are prepared with the multilayer structure of molybdenum-aluminum-molybdenum (Mo/Al/Mo) as the source/drain (S/D) electrode. Experiment demonstrates that the sputtering power of Mo (bottom layer of Mo/Al/Mo S/D) influences the performance of TFTs significantly. As the sputtering power increases, the Von runs negative shift, and the device uniformity degrades. XPS depth profile shows that the diffusion at the interface (IZO/Mo) occurs seriously. By decreasing the sputtering power, the diffusion can be suppressed and the devices are shown in normal off state (Von ~ 0.5 V, enhanced mode), with higher mobility (~ 13 cm2·V-1·s-1) and improved uniformity.

Since early 1970's the use of cold stage on SEM for observation of hydrated samples in their natural state has become more and more popular despite its high cost. Experiences gained from earlier experiments indicate that a successful design should incorporate thefollowing features:1. The specimen temperature should be below −135°C (the recrystallization point of water), lower the temperature, better the results.2. The frozen specimen, the cold block in the specimen preparation chamber, as well as the cold stage should be kept under vacuum at all times to keep them frost free.3. Different specimen preparation processes such as fracturing, coating and sublimation should be possible in one compact preparation chamber .
